Qi Yiming, that bastard!

If I weren’t afraid of losing to him in a fight, I’d really want to punch him! Does he even want me to live? Now everyone in the dorm will know that the message I sent was a mass text!

I didn’t dare to look at the reactions of the others. I could only give an awkward laugh and play dumb, saying, “Haha, what are you talking about?”

“Huh? It’s just this message.” Qi Yiming, ever the instigator, even took out his phone, opened WeChat, and shoved our chat in my face.

Because of Qi Yiming’s comment, everyone naturally turned their attention to Wen Xu, who had been seriously studying the whole time. Wen Xu stopped typing, parted his thin lips, and said unhurriedly, “Yes.”

One word, and it struck my heart hard. Maybe… I should just move out of the dorm.

Just when I thought everyone was going to press me for answers, Gu Yang said, “Of course he got it, because Ran Ge was playing a game. It was his punishment for losing, so everyone got the message. Didn’t you know?”

His voice, like that of an angel, saved me from dire straits.

Looking at these two messages from Duan Linze, I fell deep into thought. How could he react like this? It didn’t seem like he was pretending; it seemed like he really believed I mass texted because I lost a game.

As I was pondering this, the delivery guy called me to pick up my order downstairs. I had to take off my jacket, then went down to the back gate of the school to get my takeout. After grabbing it, I hurried back upstairs.

When I opened the door to the dorm, neither Qi Yiming nor Duan Linze was there. I asked Gu Yang, and he said Qi Yiming was in the shower, and the dorm head had gone out.

I said, “Oh,” then placed my takeout on the table. Tonight’s order was the very popular seafood fried rice from a nearby place.

Just as I was taking the boxed meal out of the bag, I noticed a very unfamiliar notebook next to it, looking brand new. I opened it and saw that it contained notes from the Data Structures class. That afternoon, I had fallen asleep during those two periods, which were for Data Structures.

The handwriting was neat and sharp, and the diagrams looked almost printed. This thing… definitely wasn’t mine.

I turned to ask Gu Yang whose it was, but he had just taken a call and stepped outside. No choice, I had to ask Wen Xu, who was still focused on studying.

“Wen Xu, do you know who left these notes on my desk?”

“It was me,” Wen Xu replied quickly.

“Ah??” I was stunned.

Then Wen Xu suddenly stood up and said, “I saw you were asleep all afternoon, and those two periods were quite important, so I took notes for you.”

Originally, I was looking down, but because he suddenly stood up, his nearly 1.9-meter height forced me to look up slightly to talk to him. “Then… thanks…”

“You’re welcome,” Wen Xu said, then sat back down.

I held the notes, bewildered, about to turn back when Wen Xu added, “If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can ask me.”

“Oh, okay…”

I returned to my seat, still puzzled. Wen Xu actually took the initiative to take notes for me, which was incredibly surprising!
