PLTRSC Chapter 26

Not Jiang's, but mine

It took Jiang Tang two or three seconds to realize where he was. He was startled and used the hand that was receiving the infusion to pull the oxygen tube.

Lu Yinghuai quickly stopped him: “What’s wrong?”

Jiang Tang looked at him with fear in his eyes. Because of the big movement, several centimeters of blood came back on the back of his hand, and the bandaged wound on his wrist was torn open, and bright red gradually spread on the gauze.

“Go home,” Jiang Tang grabbed Lu Yinghuai’s hand, his eyes red, his voice filled with begging, “Go home, okay?”

The tone was too pitiful, and it hurt Lu Yinghuai’s heart. Seeing Jiang Tang’s face turning blue after just two words, he quickly hugged him and the blanket into his arms: “You are still injured. When you recover, we will go home, okay?”

Jiang Tang shook his head: “I want to go back now… please, please.”

That sharp voice seemed to still echo in my ears.

“Are you sick? Just bear with it and it will go away! Why bother going to the hospital and wasting money? Are you that delicate?! Ah Hu is still waiting to buy toys! Come back with me quickly!”

In the picture, Jiang Tang was pulled by the hair by Li’s mother and staggered a few steps. He almost fell down while struggling, and the glandular weight on the back of his neck hit the corner of the information desk.

The severe pain seemed to come from across time and space. Jiang Tang’s face turned pale in an instant. He pursed his lips and closed his eyes as if he had accepted his fate.

Jiang Tang’s body was shaking slightly as if he had a cold, and his long, thick eyelashes were trembling nervously. He bit his lower lip, obviously feeling very uncomfortable, but he was unwilling to make any more requests.

Confused images kept flashing through Jiang Tang’s mind. He seemed to be pulled by the hair by that person again. He didn’t even know if he was in pain or not, but cold sweat kept oozing out and soaking his bangs.

Lu Yinghuai wiped his face with a silk handkerchief. He had just rung the bell but the doctor hadn’t come yet. Seeing Jiang Tang in so much pain, he wanted to slap himself twice.

He called Fang Mu: “Go and complete the discharge procedures.”

Jiang Tang opened his eyes in surprise. He thought Lu Yinghuai would not agree.

The burn doctor who had cleaned Jiang Tang’s wound heard this as soon as he stepped into the ward. He glared at Lu Yinghuai and said, “Are you crazy?! What if his wound gets infected?”

Fang Mu also stood at the door hesitantly. After all, Jiang Tang had been severely scalded, and it would be very irresponsible to discharge him from the hospital at this time.

“Go do it.” Lu Yinghuai urged in a stern tone.

He turned to the doctor and said in a low voice: “Please prescribe some medicine.”

The doctor wanted to give him some more advice, but Lu Yinghuai had already picked him up with the blanket and patted him gently: “It’s okay, I’ll take you home.”

“Are you feeling better?” Lu Yinghuai helped Jiang Tang press the hemostatic patch on the back of his hand.

“Yeah.” Jiang Tang’s condition improved a lot after leaving the hospital. He leaned into Lu Yinghuai’s arms without leaving any trace, his voice very hoarse, “I’m sorry, Mr. Lu, I’ve caused you trouble.”

“Tang Tang, you are not a problem. I failed to protect you. But if you want to go back to the Jiang family, can you tell me? Don’t leave without saying goodbye. I am very worried.” Lu Yinghuai hugged him tightly in fear, slowly closed his eyes, and buried his face in Jiang Tang’s neck, “I’m sorry, I’m late.”

“It’s not too late.”

Once you arrive, it’s never too late.

Jiang Tang had long been accustomed to bearing everything by himself. He had always endured being bullied and humiliated alone and had never thought that someone would appear to save him or take him away.

He never thought that the person, over and over again, would be Lu Yinghuai.

“Have you finished your work?” Jiang Tang asked.

Lu Yinghuai shook his head gently: “It’s done, you take a nap, we’ll be home soon.”

Even though he was injured like this, he was still thinking about him. Lu Yinghuai wondered how he could have thought in his previous life that Jiang Tang was really as cold and hard as he appeared to be?

The car slowly stopped, and a man standing at the door of Lu Yinghuai’s house strode over and opened the passenger door: “Lu… Hey, damn?”

The co-pilot was the bear that was splashed with soup.

Jiang Tang only just discovered the bear: “This is…a gift from me to Taotao…”

“Don’t gift it to her,” Lu Yinghuai carried Jiang Tang out of the car, “Give it to me, I like it.”

Xie Zan understood and said with a teasing smile: “Aren’t you ashamed to snatch gifts from girls at your age?”

Lu Yinghuai ignored him and looked at Jiang Tang persistently: “Give it to me, okay?”

He seemed to really want it. Jiang Tang didn’t understand why, but if Lu Yinghuai wanted it, he would give it to him: “Okay.”

Xie Zan rolled his eyes without any hesitation. You have already brought it back, why are you still asking him? It’s as if you can send it back if he doesn’t agree.

“He looks familiar,” Xie Zan narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment, “Is this the person from the Jiang family a few days ago…”

“No,” Lu Yinghuai interrupted him coldly, “It’s not Jiang’s, He’s mine.”

Xie Zan: …You called me here just to see your iron tree bloom?

Jiang Tang’s mind went blank. Mr. Lu was telling his friend that he was his family.

Was it real?

“Okay, okay, yours,” Xie Zan came over, “Let me take a look at the wound. Not that I’m nagging, but can you go to the hospital for this kind of thing? I’m not your personal doctor.”

Lu Yinghuai said calmly, “I will pay for the imported medical equipment you mentioned this morning.”

“Okay, Dad.”

Jiang Tang: …

In order to make it easier for Xie Zan to examine the wound, Lu Yinghuai simply used a pair of scissors to cut off the lower half of the hospital gown’s trousers.

“It’s bleeding, rebandage it,” Xie Zan lowered his head and unwrapped the gauze, “If it hurts, just bite Lu Yinghuai, he has thick skin and flesh and is not afraid of pain.”

Even though Xie Zan boasted that he had seen all kinds of wounds, he was still shocked.

No matter how many he had seen before, they were all injured Alphas, and Alphas’ pain tolerance was much higher than that of Omegas. As for Omegas, let alone large-area burns, some were particularly delicate and would cry for a long time just because of a blister on their hands.

He subconsciously looked up at Jiang Tang. The young man’s lips were pale, but his expression was calm, as if the wound was not on his body.

With a hand blocking Xie Zan’s eyes, Lu Yinghuai said unhappily, “What are you looking at?”

Okay, not only did you bloom late, but you also have a strong possessiveness.

The condition of Jiang Tang’s wound was really terrible, and the process of re-bandaging it was very long.

Seeing the child’s face getting paler, Lu Yinghuai got so angry that he didn’t know where to vent his anger, and his restless pheromones filled the room.

Although Xie Zan’s pheromone level was very high, he felt a little uncomfortable at the moment due to the suppression of the high concentration of higher-level pheromones.

He said angrily: “Can you control your pheromones, brother? I’m bandaging someone. What good will it do you to hurt me at this time?”

As soon as he finished speaking, he could clearly feel that Lu Yinghuai was even more annoyed. The out-of-control pheromones became more intense and spread throughout the room. Xie Zan’s hand trembled, and his fingertips touched Jiang Tang’s skin.
