ATISIUP Chapter 35

Perhaps to show sincerity, everyone worked quickly. As soon as the meeting ended, all the procedures were completed, and even the construction funds discussed during the meeting had already been transferred.

They took a group photo to commemorate the formation of the partnership.

As the future head of the laboratory, Lin Huanyan took the initiative to distribute the lotus and watermelon she brought to the attendees, receiving unanimous praise. Some officials even came to inquire about purchasing them, but due to the limited supply, Lin Huanyan had to decline.

Due to limited time and a pile of tasks awaiting her in the laboratory, Lin Huanyan took the opportunity on her last day to visit her former mentor, Professor Liu, at Imperial University, bringing along a potted bowl lotus and watermelon that she had specifically saved.

Professor Liu was very concerned about Lin Huanyan’s health. Upon learning that her illness had been cured and that she now had her own independent laboratory, he was greatly relieved.

After bidding farewell to Professor Liu, they set off on their way back.

Unlike their anxious journey there, the return trip was filled with a sense of achievement, as everyone had gotten what they wanted, and the atmosphere was much more harmonious.

Lin Huanyan and the group became more familiar with one another during the journey.

After several days, they soon reached the area where the interstellar station was located.

It was still the familiar platform, and the enormous starship, too large to land, hovered above, lowering a staircase to the platform.

Lin Huanyan was saying goodbye to Gu Yinchen at the door of the ship. Due to follow-up work after their cooperation, Gu Yinchen had to return to Tianyu, which made it the first time for the couple, who had been together ever since, to experience separation.

Lin Huanyan hugged Gu Yinchen around the waist, burying her face in his chest and rubbing against him like a little cat, reluctant to let go.

It was rare for her to act so coquettishly, and Gu Yinchen enjoyed it but had to return to handle his work.

With his chin resting on her head, he hugged her back, gently caressing her back with his large hand.

“Yanyan, don’t be sad. I’m just going back to handle some matters, and I’ll come to find you soon.”

Gu Yinchen comforted her for a while until she was finally pulled out of her sorrowful mood.

He took her small hand in his, walking with her into the laboratory.

As soon as the door closed, Lin Huanyan was suddenly lifted by a strong force and placed on the desk at the door.

The sudden sensation of being lifted startled her, but she quickly calmed down.

The man’s warm breath spread across her delicate neck, her fair skin like fine paper, first turning a lovely shade of pink, then being painted with vivid red plum blossoms, dazzling and beautiful.

Lin Huanyan couldn’t help but let out a soft moan, her fragile neck tilting back, revealing more of her skin, making it easier for the man to paint.

Soon, a picture of red plum blossoms in full bloom was completed.

But the man was still unsatisfied. He forcefully spread her slender legs, pressing his long thigh between them, forcing their bodies even closer.

Then, Lin Huanyan’s soft, pink lips were captured, and she allowed him to kiss, suck, and even dance with her tongue.

The white background of the laboratory made everything appear even cleaner and tidier, with the little robot Xiao A dutifully guarding the space.

In the small corner near the door, however, a private, intimate scene unfolded. The man’s tall figure almost completely covered the woman beneath him, leaving only her delicate limbs exposed. They kissed passionately, exchanging their affections.

This unexpectedly added a touch of hazy, ambiguous color to the otherwise serious and formal laboratory.

Lin Huanyan never knew that one kiss could make her so sensitive, her body soft as if melting, and without the man’s support, she would have probably slipped to the floor.

She could no longer withstand it and began to push him away with her delicate hands.

It was only then that the man seemed to realize, releasing her. By now, her once pink lips were replaced with a bright red color, glistening with traces of their intimate exchange, which made her even more stunning.

It turned out that desire truly was a powerful form of makeup.

Though Lin Huanyan looked a little disheveled, Gu Yinchen wasn’t in much better shape.

At this moment, overwhelmed by desire, he tried hard to control himself. He could only hold her, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

But she was considerate, knowing that any more action at this moment would make it impossible for him to control himself.

After a while, the man finally regained composure. He picked up his still fragile girlfriend and placed her on her bed, then hurriedly went to take a cold shower.

The cold water helped suppress his emotions, and by the time he returned, he was surrounded by a cool aura. Lin Huanyan was already asleep, lying on the bed.

He didn’t dare to approach, afraid that his cold presence would disturb her. Instead, he tucked her in and quietly left.

When Mu Xingye saw his older brother, who was wrapped in a cold aura, returning, he smiled knowingly and made a playful gesture. Just as he was about to speak, Mu Xingkai covered his mouth with his hand, silencing him.

Mu Xingye, now free, asked, “Why did you cover my mouth?”

“What were you about to say?” Mu Xingkai crossed his arms, looking at him.

“I wasn’t going to say anything, I was just wondering if the boss just kissed his wife.”

“Why are you asking this?”

“Well, I’m curious. The boss used to be so cold, never reacting no matter how I teased him, but now that he has a wife, I can’t even say a few words?”

“You’re such an idiot.”

“Hey, why are you insulting me?”

Mu Xingkai was speechless. He was in a bad mood because his boss was about to part with his wife, but this guy was making jokes, clearly bored from idleness.

Lin Huanyan, however, was unaware of this small exchange. She woke up the next morning, likely because the earlier kiss had been so intense that she fell asleep soon after being placed in bed, wrapped in the man’s scent.

She didn’t even know when Gu Yincheng left.

She retrieved the smart brain and, as expected, found a message from Gu Yincheng.

【Sound of Music Flying】:Yanyan, I’m leaving first. Take care of yourself, and reply to me when you wake up.

【Big Yan Zi】:Achen, I woke up. What are you doing?

【Sound of Music Flying】:I’m working hard, trying to finish up quickly so I can go find my precious Yanyan.

Then came a picture of the smart computer, showing an inbox that was already full, with a long list of unread red dots below.

Lin Huanyan felt dizzy just looking at it, so after offering some encouragement, she said goodbye and didn’t want to delay her boyfriend’s work.

She got up, washed up, and changed out of her casual clothes from yesterday.

First, she went to the living room, where a black-and-white ball was wriggling on a soft rug.

It was round and cute, and Lin Huanyan’s eyes lit up.

She quickly ran over and picked it up. The little one wasn’t scared and obediently lay in her arms, allowing her to rub it.

It had been a while since she last saw them, and the little furball had grown bigger since her departure. Its fur was shiny and smooth, and its eyes were bright and alert. It seemed like the robot nanny had been taking good care of them.

Lin Huanyan carefully identified it and realized it was Xiaobao. Then, she stood up and searched around the living room. Eventually, she found Dabao by the floor-to-ceiling window.

The little one was trying hard to straighten its body, its small head resting on the glass, staring intently outside.

Lin Huanyan followed its gaze and saw it was watching the little fish in the stone trough.

She walked over and gently rubbed its little head. It felt great, but she accidentally knocked it off balance.

Fortunately, the little one didn’t mind. It turned its head, saw its owner, and immediately stopped looking at the fish. It waddled over, climbed up Lin Huanyan’s pants, and then jumped into her arms to snuggle with its sibling.

Lin Huanyan felt guilty for leaving them in the care of the robot nanny and decided to make it up to them.

She opened the cabinet, took out some special milk powder, and prepared a bowl for each of them.

Then she happily watched the little ones drink, feeling very pleased.

Her babies were such good babies.

She then went back to the cabinet, took out two small balls, one red and one blue, gave one to each of the little ones, and reminded the robot nanny to take good care of them before she left with peace of mind.

After being away for several days, a pile of accumulated packages greeted her, but Lin Huan Yan didn’t deal with them right away.

Instead, she went to the watermelon cultivation room to check on the new batch of watermelons that had ripened.

Because she had caved in to requests from the attendees before, she had promised to leave some for every shareholder.

Now, it was the right time to pick these watermelons, and she planned to send some to the Empire, Tianyu, and the Kara family. Since she was concerned about Ji Shutong’s sister’s illness, she also prepared a portion for her, hoping it would help.

However, this time, without Gu Yincheng’s assistance, it was just Lin Huanyan and the robot, so the speed was slower.

She had to pick for a while, rest, and then continue.

Suddenly, a beeping sound came.

Lin Huan Yan opened it to find a message from her former superior, Professor Sax.

If he hadn’t sent a message, she might have forgotten about him.

She opened the message, and it turned out to be congratulations. It seemed the news had already been announced from above.

They weren’t very familiar with each other, so after exchanging pleasantries, Professor Sax mentioned that someone would come tomorrow to upgrade the technology equipment in the black hole laboratory before going offline.

Just as she was about to close the smart brain, another message popped up.

This time, it was from Lieutenant Colonel Lu Yuan, whom she hadn’t been in contact with for a long time.

They exchanged greetings, and Lu Yuan said that he would soon be sent to supervise the construction of the Biocultivation Base for the Wanwu Corporation, so he was letting her know in advance.

Lin Huanyan was pleasantly surprised by the coincidence of hearing from a familiar face, which would make communication much easier. She happily chatted with Lu Yuan, telling him that when he arrived, she would treat him to watermelon.

By the time Lin Huanyan put the smart brain down, it was already noon. She hadn’t realized that the two messages had taken up so much of her time and quickly returned to work.
