The thrill of fighting back was only momentary; the consequences were a funeral for his saved file.

Mi Dao shed tears in his heart for not being able to eat meat.

He hurriedly dodged Wei Yaoshuo’s biting, pushing firmly against Wei Yaoshuo’s shoulder.

Wei Yaoshuo didn’t force him; he retreated slightly. Watching Mi Dao’s face, flushed with embarrassment and anger yet unable to say a word, Wei Yaoshuo felt his heart soften.

His senior brother was truly the kindest person in the world.

Even though he had done something that should never be done to his senior brother, Mi Dao still forgave him.

Wei Yaoshuo smiled, his gaze filled with adoration. “Senior brother, Ah Shuo really loves you.”

Hearing this, Mi Dao was clearly taken aback, his eyes filled with both surprise and emotion. Before he could respond, Wei Yaoshuo stepped forward and pressed him into an embrace, cradling the back of his head and kissing him insistently.

Mi Dao’s eyes widened, wanting to speak, but was only met with deeper invasion.

He tried to resist, even using his magic, but Wei Yaoshuo seemed to guess his every thought, gently neutralizing his attempts one by one.

At that moment, Mi Dao realized that Wei Yaoshuo had only been able to defeat him not because he was injured or holding back, but because his strength was genuinely above his own—and not by a small margin.

Mi Dao’s pride as a senior brother wavered for a moment: “System, why are all my junior brothers stronger than me?”

The system replied, “Because they practice every day, while you just play games.”

Mi Dao: “…” He found himself speechless.

The more Mi Dao resisted, the more Wei Yaoshuo teased him, until he was breathless and could no longer fight back.

After a long time, Wei Yaoshuo reluctantly released Mi Dao’s lips, watching him tremble, unable to resist. Wei Yaoshuo’s throat moved as he became even more enamored, kissing the corner of his hair.

“Senior brother, Ah Shuo really loves you.”

“Don’t do this…”

Mi Dao closed his eyes in pain, looking utterly exhausted, his expression a mix of bitterness and regret.

Wei Yaoshuo continued to kiss him gently, “So, besides letting my senior brother go, Ah Shuo is willing to do anything for you.”

Mi Dao didn’t say anything else, feeling himself being lifted by Wei Yaoshuo.

“Damn!” Mi Dao’s heart suddenly raced, “System, system, has the 18+ scene been triggered?”

The system sent a smiling emoji “smile.jpg”

Just when Mi Dao naively thought the system’s smile was a good sign, Wei Yaoshuo paused, as if sensing something, and his expression grew serious. He took a moment, then carried Mi Dao to the bedside.

Mi Dao realized he must have received some kind of secret message, so he asked, “What happened?”

Wei Yaoshuo hesitated and replied lightly, “The sect master summoned me to the main peak to discuss important matters.”

Mi Dao: “…”

He suddenly felt a strong urge to take action against his own ‘son.’

What to do?

The system kindly reminded him. “Host, a moment of indulgence can lead to dire consequences; messing up your character means having to restart.”

Mi Dao: “…”

It was too tragic.

Wei Yaoshuo looked at Mi Dao, whose expression had grown heavy, and a hint of sternness flashed in his eyes.

He knew that this worry of his senior brother’s was never about him.

Wei Yaoshuo didn’t want to discuss anything related to that person any further and simply said, “Ah Shuo will be back soon.”

Mi Dao furrowed his brow, just about to ask something, when Wei Yaoshuo said again, “There are some storybooks prepared in the study. If you’re interested, senior brother, you can read to pass the time.”

In his heart, Mi Dao thought, “Oh wow, what a considerate little darling.”

Wei Yaoshuo walked to the door, opened it, and turned back to give Mi Dao a deep look. He said, “Sorry for making you wait a bit longer. In a couple of days, Ah Shuo will take you home.”

With that, Wei Yaoshuo left the wooden house.

Mi Dao sat on the edge of the bed, unresponsive for a long while.

Just when the system was about to think Mi Dao had fallen asleep, he suddenly slapped his thigh and exclaimed, “Damn! Eighteen seconds!”

The system responded, “Eighteen seconds?”

Mi Dao clarified, “Oh, don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying I last eighteen seconds.”

The system: “…”

It hadn’t thought of that at all.

Mi Dao, looking serious, said, “I can last an hour.”

The system scoffed, “Ha.”

From the moment Mi Dao set up the barrier, it took Wei Yaoshuo eighteen seconds to arrive. Given his cultivation, if it took him that long to rush over, then he must have been over a day’s journey away—at the border of the Demon Realm? Why would a powerful figure from the Sun and Heaven Sect go there?

Additionally, Mi Dao only realized after battling Wei Yaoshuo how incredibly strong he was! Even he, as the Demon Lord, could be directly crushed by Wei Yaoshuo’s internal power!

With such a Wei Yaoshuo by his side, how could his precious son be afraid of the Demon Realm?

However, the system had not confirmed that the protagonist had cleared the game; in fact, there was still 14% left to complete. Considering Wei Yaoshuo’s obsessive nature and the part Mi Dao had accidentally taken from him… he was filled with dread.

If Wei Yaoshuo had been planning to kill the protagonist while the demons crossed the border, he’d write his own name backward!

With a bomb like Wei Yaoshuo next to the protagonist, Mi Dao felt he had to act quickly; otherwise, his precious son might end up as nothing but ashes. He never expected Wei Yaoshuo to be this powerful—this wasn’t how the original script was written! His Ah Shuo was supposed to be a pitiful baby who struggled to cultivate but ultimately remained unfulfilled!

The system: “…”

Without further hesitation, Mi Dao touched the elixir in his bag, deciding to take immediate action now that he could pinpoint both Wei Yaoshuo and the protagonist’s locations.

At that moment, the protagonist was deeply troubled as he held a meeting with the elders and disciples of the Sun and Heaven Sect.

On the ethereal peak shrouded in mist, the elders of the Sun and Heaven Sect were seated together, high-ranking disciples behind them, all gazing intently at the white-clad man standing at the forefront— the obedient son of the Sun and Heaven Sect’s master.

Usually, the system treats such player-created names as special symbols without interpreting their meaning, so NPCs in the game would calmly call out these absurd names without any hint of laughter.

However, to be frank, the protagonist, controlled by artificial intelligence, had an inexplicable aversion to his own name.

He always felt that whenever Ye Wushang called his name, it was like he was taking advantage of him…
