At first Lu Yunye was angry and blamed himself for forgetting to give instructions to the wait staff and not taking the phone call somewhere he could keep an eye on Shi Yi.
He shook the beer glass – there was still more than half of it left. Shi Yi only drank two glasses, and he became like this.

After that, he got up again and went to the owner of the barbecue stand, asking for help watching over Shi Yi. Then quickly ran out of the mobile stall area to find a place selling small cakes.

“It doesn’t matter,” Shi Yi said in a low voice. “I’m afraid you won’t like me if you tell me.”
“Because Little Peach is very cute, but I am not cute anymore.”
Not only is he not cute, but he also has a bunch of bad habits. He is hard-spoken, awkward, and always cold, making people around him shy away.
“No matter what you become, I will like it, no matter if you are Little Peach or Xiao Yi[mfn]nickname for Little (Shi) Yi[/mfn],” Lu Yunye kissed his forehead, “And you are very good now, so you don’t need to hide anything in front of me, do you know?”
“Otherwise I will be worried.”
Taking a bath exhausted the two of them. After the bubble bath, Shi Yi was so tired that he fell asleep. It was only because of Lu Yunye’s arm around his waist that he didn’t slip into the water.
After wiping him clean, Lu Yunye helped dry his hair. His movements were as gentle as holding a delicate glass, and he finally stuffed the person back into the quilt.
When he came out of the shower, Shi Yi had already fallen into a sound sleep, his fluffy hair softly pressed against his cheeks, trembling slightly with each breath.
Even so, after Lu Yunye got into bed, Shi Yi slid over as if awake, and buried himself in Lu Yunye’s arms.
The embrace was warm and firm, and the sound of his heartbeat was reassuring. Shi Yi found a comfortable position in his sleep, arched the back of his neck slightly, and sent his glands to alpha’s mouth.

He was looking forward to it, but he also had some concerns. After all, the Little Pinecone vest was very useful in front of Shi Yi. If he loses the vest before Shi Yi fully accepts him, it will only make the latter feel entangled.
Lu Yunye hopes that Shi Yi can fully accept him as his current self, instead of being influenced by his childhood experiences and making a wrong decision.
