IMPGS Chapter 103

IMPGS Chapter 103

Xiao Cheng wasn’t a pure, innocent boy, but Luo Jingshu’s words still shocked him.

The main reason was that those words came from Luo Jingshu’s mouth.

A high school student who had never been in a relationship, barely an adult—where had he learned all these strange things from?

Xiao Cheng was both angry and embarrassed. He reached out with both hands, grabbing Luo Jingshu’s cheeks and pulling them outward with force.

“What kind of crazy talk are you saying?!”

Luo Jingshu let Xiao Cheng pull at his cheeks, turning them red. The scene looked somewhat comical, but neither of them laughed, making the action appear serious instead.

“I’m not crazy, Brother Cheng. You know best whether I’m speaking nonsense.”

Luo Jingshu’s cheeks were still in Xiao Cheng’s grip, and his voice was muffled as he spoke, but it didn’t stop Xiao Cheng from hearing every word clearly.

“You still think you’re in the right?”

Every time Xiao Cheng thought about how Luo Jingshu was actually blaming him in his heart, a heavy pain surged in his chest.

Luo Jingshu, the liar who spoke of love, didn’t care about him at all.

“Brother Cheng, you can try if you want.”

Luo Jingshu’s tone surprisingly sounded a little hopeful, as if he wanted Xiao Cheng to make a mistake so he could have a valid reason to punish him.

Xiao Cheng was furious, “Are you threatening me?”

Luo Jingshu’s expression calmed down instead. “I’m not threatening you; I’m just stating a fact.”

In other words, if Xiao Cheng really wanted to break up with him, Luo Jingshu might actually lock him up.

Xiao Cheng took a deep breath, trying not to let his anger cloud his judgment. Luo Jingshu’s words sounded odd—why did it seem like he was talking about a breakup?

Xiao Cheng recalled Luo Jingshu’s expression and suddenly realized. He gave a look of understanding. “You didn’t actually think I wanted to break up with you just because I told you to leave, did you?”

He was just really angry and said a few harsh words; he never actually intended for Luo Jingshu to leave, let alone break up with him.

When Luo Jingshu heard the word “break up,” his fingers clenched into a fist, veins popping on the back of his hand, looking somewhat eerie.

His body tensed, and he stared at Xiao Cheng. “Don’t say that word again.”

Xiao Cheng was both angry and amused. “You usually seem so smart, but why are you so confused when it comes to this matter?”

They had just gotten back together a few days ago and hadn’t even had the chance to enjoy the sweetness of being in love—how could he possibly want to break up with him?

Luo Jingshu was unexpectedly stubborn, staring at Xiao Cheng without blinking. “Brother Cheng, would you really break up with me?”

He longed for a promise from Xiao Cheng, something like Xiao Cheng would never break up with him.

At first, Xiao Cheng thought Luo Jingshu was just being playful, but when he saw the serious expression on his face, he realized that Luo Jingshu was genuinely worried about it.

He couldn’t help but furrowed his brows and look at Luo Jingshu with confusion.

Xiao Cheng hadn’t thought about this before. He couldn’t give Luo Jingshu a definite answer because no one could predict the future.

But then again, weren’t they in the sweet phase of their relationship? How could Luo Jingshu be worried about such a thing?

Xiao Cheng suddenly understood—it was probably because he hadn’t given Luo Jingshu enough sense of security, which led him to overthink everything, even saying those bizarre things.

“Jingshu,” Xiao Cheng reached out and rubbed his cheek, which had turned red from the rough handling earlier.

“Why are you angry tonight?”

When Luo Jingshu heard Xiao Cheng’s softer tone, his eyes started to redden. “Brother Cheng, I want to listen to you, I want to pretend like I don’t know anything.”

But he really was jealous.

He was jealous that Xiao Cheng trusted another man more than him.

“Is it because I lied to you?” After getting the IV drip, Xiao Cheng’s head wasn’t as dizzy as before, but his body still lacked strength.

He propped himself up with his elbow, while Luo Jingshu sat on his lap, his eyes red as he looked at him.

Maybe it was the position that pleased Xiao Cheng, or maybe it made him feel like he had really been too hard on Luo Jingshu.

“Brother Cheng, I know you like the obedient me.”

Luo Jingshu’s voice lowered. “But I’ve always been an unreasonable lunatic.”

He wished that Xiao Cheng’s heart would only belong to him.

Xiao Cheng sighed lightly and gently wiped away a tear from the corner of Luo Jingshu’s eye. Only then did he realize that Luo Jingshu was really just a young man who hadn’t even graduated from high school.

“Jingshu.” Xiao Cheng asked tentatively, “You warned me to be careful, but I still fell into the trap. Is that why you’re angry with me?”

To be honest, when Luo Jingshu first found out that Xiao Cheng might be in danger, he blamed Xiao Cheng for a second.

But he also knew that Xiao Cheng didn’t have the ability to foresee the future. Even if he had been more cautious, there was no way to avoid such dirty tricks.

What really upset Luo Jingshu was that Xiao Cheng didn’t trust him.

“Brother Cheng.” Luo Jingshu tugged at his lip. “Am I the kind of person who can’t tell right from wrong in your heart?”

Xiao Cheng had been wronged, and Luo Jingshu hurt for him. How could he ever blame him for it?

Luo Jingshu didn’t have a clear sense of morality. He was always biased—no matter if today’s matter was Xiao Cheng’s fault, he would still say with his eyes closed that Xiao Cheng was innocent.

He would always stand by Xiao Cheng’s side.

Xiao Cheng lightly tapped Luo Jingshu’s arm, “Stop saying those cryptic things to provoke me.”

“Let’s talk things through.”

Luo Jingshu fell silent again, only staring at Xiao Cheng with his bloodshot eyes, making Xiao Cheng feel even more guilty.

“Okay, so you’re not angry because of this, then it’s because I lied to you,” Xiao Cheng explained. “I lied because I didn’t want you to worry or blame me.”

But instead of alleviating things, his concealment only made Luo Jingshu angrier.

Luo Jingshu lowered his gaze to Xiao Cheng’s slightly flushed eyelids. “Brother Cheng, I’m really scared.”

Xiao Cheng paused, “What are you scared of?”

Luo Jingshu didn’t immediately answer. He reached out to gently touch Xiao Cheng’s lips.

Earlier, when he was angry, Xiao Cheng wouldn’t cooperate, and in a fit of rage, Luo Jingshu bit Xiao Cheng’s lip.

Although it didn’t bleed, his lip was slightly swollen from the bite.

Luo Jingshu’s fingers didn’t even touch it before Xiao Cheng immediately felt a sharp pain in his lip.

“I’m scared of many things,” Luo Jingshu said, gazing deeply at Xiao Cheng’s face, his voice choked. “I’m scared that you don’t love me as much, that one day you’ll leave me, and I’m even more scared that you’ll fall for someone else.”

Xiao Cheng was stunned.

He suddenly understood that he didn’t want Luo Jingshu to lie to him, but it seemed that Luo Jingshu didn’t want him to lie either.

They didn’t trust each other.

He was afraid of being deceived by Luo Jingshu, while Luo Jingshu was afraid that he wouldn’t love him anymore.

Rather than being angry at Xiao Cheng’s concealment, Luo Jingshu was actually angry because he felt a lack of trust in his actions.

“Brother Cheng, I’m your boyfriend, the one you want to spend your life with,” Luo Jingshu’s voice was hoarse. “Can you trust me a little more, depend on me more, and place me as the most important person in your heart after your family, okay?”

He actually wanted to be the most important person in Xiao Cheng’s heart, the only one.

But Luo Jingshu knew that was impossible—Xiao Cheng cared deeply for his family, and he probably couldn’t compare to that.

“Don’t lie to me just because you want to protect me.” Luo Jingshu closed his eyes, his tears welling up. “You don’t know what’s most important to me.”

It’s you.

Xiao Cheng felt even more guilty. He reached out and hugged Luo Jingshu’s shoulder, resting his head on his neck. “Sorry, I was wrong.”

He never knew that Luo Jingshu would also feel insecure, that under his smile, there was a growing anxiety.

Xiao Cheng couldn’t bear to see the redness in Luo Jingshu’s eyes. Normally, when Luo Jingshu pretended to be pitiful, Xiao Cheng would soften, but this time, Luo Jingshu was genuinely hurt.

“Jingshu,” Xiao Cheng rubbed his head. “You know I’m a straightforward guy, sometimes I just don’t think things through.”

“If you ever feel wronged, just tell me directly. Don’t hide it.”

As for what Luo Jingshu said earlier, Xiao Cheng quietly made a mental note.

He had indeed been a little suspicious of Luo Jingshu because of past events. He thought he had hidden it well, but it turned out Luo Jingshu had already noticed.

His actions weren’t without merit, but in a relationship, trust and communication were the most important. Xiao Cheng sighed to himself, and he would try to trust Luo Jingshu completely.

He would also try to care more for his boyfriend.

It was at this moment that Xiao Cheng suddenly realized, if he looked at their chat history carefully, it seemed like most of the time, Luo Jingshu was the one talking. His replies were usually brief, and after Luo Jingshu sent many messages, he would respond with just one or two.

No wonder Luo Jingshu felt like he was being hot and cold.

Compared to before, he had indeed become more cautious.

Luo Jingshu pressed the back of Xiao Cheng’s head, one hand still caressing his lips.

“Brother Cheng, although I’m a few months younger than you, I may not be as steady as Bai Yiheng,” Luo Jingshu began.

Xiao Cheng was about to explain that he never compared Luo Jingshu to Bai Yiheng—they were completely different people, not comparable at all.

In his heart, Luo Jingshu was the best.

But before he could speak, Luo Jingshu covered his mouth, lightly biting his earlobe, and whispered, “But I still hope you can depend on me, treat me as your…”

His voice became even softer, “Your boyfriend.”

“Your husband.”

Xiao Cheng opened his mouth, suddenly unsure of what to say.

Actually, they didn’t use overly affectionate terms with each other. The most Luo Jingshu did was joke around and call him “husband,” but Xiao Cheng had never called Luo Jingshu anything like that.

Husband… Xiao Cheng couldn’t say it.

Maybe calling him wife would be more acceptable.

He could handle losing when it came to the bed, but why should he lose out on something like a title?

Luo Jingshu looked at Xiao Cheng’s red ears, a smile playing at his lips. “Brother Cheng, can you call me husband, please?”

He wasn’t fixated on titles, even though in his heart, Xiao Cheng was his wife, but that didn’t mean he saw Xiao Cheng as a woman.

But seeing Xiao Cheng shy was also pretty enjoyable.

Just as they were talking things through and the atmosphere was sweet, Luo Jingshu kept pestering Xiao Cheng to call him that.

When he acted all coquettish, Xiao Cheng blushed so much it seemed like blood would drip, and finally, in a very small voice, he muttered:

“Okay, husband.”

“Don’t push me anymore.”

Luo Jingshu suddenly stopped his movements, his gaze darkening as he stared at Xiao Cheng, his throat moving as he swallowed hard.

His eyes grew hotter, slowly devouring Xiao Cheng.

Xiao Cheng’s body stiffened.

This was bad; it seemed he had gone too far.

“Brother Cheng, you really are…”

Luo Jingshu’s swallowing was so loud, it was hard for Xiao Cheng to ignore.

“I still…”

He hadn’t finished his sentence when Luo Jingshu suddenly pressed on his shoulders, forcefully pushing him down on the bed. Xiao Cheng’s back hit the bed, and his unfinished words were cut off.

Luo Jingshu’s actions grew more urgent, but Xiao Cheng managed to protect his clothes, quietly begging:

“Don’t tear it, I still need it tomorrow.”

Luo Jingshu took a deep breath, and with a bloodthirsty smile, he spoke softly:

“Then Brother Cheng, do it yourself?”

“I’ll teach you.”
