TYMRHBDES Chapter 35

Night had fallen.

Fu Tingchuan carried Jiang Luoluo out of the bathroom.

The person in his arms was so tired they couldn’t even lift their fingers, lazily resting against him. Their teary eyelashes were clumped together, with a slight redness at the corners of their eyes.

Fu Tingchuan bent down and laid them on the bed, leaning over to comfort them. “My wife looks so beautiful when he cries.

Jiang Luoluo pursed his lips, his misty eyes filled with a hazy layer of tears. His once clear voice now carried a hoarse sob. “Who’s your wife…?”

“Jiang Luoluo is my wife.”

Fu Tingchuan took his small hand, placing a kiss on it. “If my baby is willing, this husband will marry you right away.”

Jiang Luoluo pulled his hand away, tugging the blanket to cover half his face as he sulked. “Who’d want to marry you…?”

Jiang Luoluo, under the blankets, looked so adorable that Fu Tingchuan’s heart softened completely. He tried to pull the covers down a bit, but Jiang Luoluo seemed to think Fu Tingchuan wanted to do something else again. Panicking, he frantically pulled the blankets up. “Fu Tingchuan, you’re breaking your promise!”

Fu Tingchuan couldn’t help but chuckle. “How am I breaking my promise?”

The person under the blankets had a red face from holding his breath, and he glared at Fu Tingchuan with resentment.

They’d clearly made a deal in the bathroom: be good and be obedient while inside, and get to rest properly after.

Big liar!

Jiang Luoluo’s grip had always been weak, and Fu Tingchuan easily pulled the blankets down. The loose nightshirt Jiang Luoluo wore slid off his shoulder, exposing his pale neck and shoulder.

The sheets were randomly dotted with fresh stains that were left not long ago.

Fu Tingchuan raised an eyebrow, remembering something. He quickly went to the wardrobe but after a moment he came back with another fresh set of PJs. He gently pulled Jiang Luoluo out of the bed and helped him change.

Jiang Luoluo looked puzzled as he let Fu Tingchuan change his clothes.

After he was dressed in the new PJs, Fu Tingchuan gazed at the snugly wrapped Jiang Luoluo and kissed him on the cheek.

“That’s better. Can’t let him even catch a glimpse.”

“If that bastard switches back, we can’t give him any advantage.”

Before bed, Fu Tingchuan took Professor Bian’s medicine.

This medication has been proven to extend the time between personality shifts and maintain the dominant personality’s stability.

He casually put the pill on the table, then turned to embrace the person in his arms and kissed him. “Goodnight, baby.”

The moon was high in the sky.

Pure moonlight was blocked by the tall trees around the villa, breaking into small fragments that covered the ground.

Night wind rustled through the leaves, making soft whispering sounds.

In the bedroom, the handsome man slept restlessly. His forehead was furrowed, thin lips pressed into a line, eyelids twitching violently as if struggling against something.

His body jolted with a violent shudder, followed by his eyelids slowly prying open. His pitch-black eyes shimmered with a hint of confusion before gradually regaining their clarity.

Bathed in the moonlight, he gazed up at the unfamiliar ceiling. The person in his arms turned over, a small face nuzzling against his chest—it was his precious little wife.

Fu Tingchuan extended a hand, gently caressing his cheek with immense tenderness. However, as the memories of that man from the photo—someone strikingly similar to himself—surfaced in his mind, his fingers froze mid-air.

His eyes instantly turned cold.

He had fallen for someone, only to find that this person merely saw him as a substitute for someone else.

Retracting his fingers from her face, Fu Tingchuan’s thoughts drifted elsewhere. He lifted the quilt and made to get out of bed.

But the young wife beside him seemed to be following the source of heat. If he moved away a little, he would come closer, with his little face pressed against his arm and refusing to let go.

Fu Tingchuan’s heart softened. Unable to resist, he opened his arms, drew him into a warm embrace, and softly kissed his little cheek.

He settled him in the center of the bed, tucking a plush pillow into his arm.

Alone now, he stepped out of the bedroom.

We twisted and turned through the halls until he reached a room on the third floor. Long, slender fingers tapped out a few keys, and the computer opened a page that never showed up in normal use.

The cold glow of the screen reflected off the man’s sharp, distant face.

Fu Tingchuan typed out two quick messages:

:::
Are the tasks done?
:::

The pure black chat interface flashed twice, and a message came from the other end, the profile picture was a clown’s smile with its mouth pulled to the side:

:::
There was an unexpected issue with the first task: I didn’t hit him hard enough.
:::

Fu Tingchuan pursed his lips as if he’d already anticipated this.

:::
The second task was completed as you instructed. I took that person’s order and delivered him to the gay folks’ stronghold, just like he wanted.
:::

The clown smile sent back a smiling emoticon.

:::
His legs were broken and he couldn’t fight back. He must be having a lot of fun.
:::

Those icy words, paired with that eerie profile picture, would make anyone’s scalp tingle with unease. But Fu Tingchuan showed no reaction, sending back an “OK” emoticon instead.

:::
I’ll send the last payment straight to you.
:::

The clown smile sent two grins:

:::
Happy collaboration.
:::

He logged out of the program, turned off the computer, and set everything back to the way it was.

Fu Tingchuan opened the door and retraced his steps.

“Young master?” The housekeeper greeted.

The elderly housekeeper, awake early, was taking a stroll outside. His eyes met Fu Tingchuan’s as he descended the stairs.

Fu Tingchuan glanced at him and nodded briefly.

“Young master,” the housekeeper quickly called out. “Hold on a moment. I have your package from a few days ago. I thought you and Young Master Jiang were already in bed, so I didn’t disturb you.”

“Wait here.”

The housekeeper jogged back, grabbed a tightly sealed box, and handed it to Fu Tingchuan.

With a nod, Fu Tingchuan continued towards the bedroom, cradling the box in his arms.

The box was light, suggesting it didn’t contain much. His name was written in gold paint on the box, but he really couldn’t remember buying anything recently.

Inside the bedroom, the person on the bed was peacefully asleep.

Fu Tingchuan glanced at him, then took the box to the wardrobe room.

He placed the box on the table, tore open the seal, and lifted the lid.

Anger flickered in his jet-black eyes in an instant.

The slender fingers reached into the box and hooked out two furry rabbit ears with pink tips.

Inside the box was a curvy, rabbit-tail-shaped vibrator with a pink tip. Though it was well-packaged, it is not difficult to guess what it is used for.

Fu Tingchuan’s face darkened as he crumpled the bunny ears in his fist. His knuckles turned white from anger.

‘How could this be the gift I bought?

He loved Jiang Luoluo dearly and couldn’t do enough to cherish him. Why would he buy something like this?

Was he trying to provoke him?

‘Is this what they often used when he was with that other person?’

That’s why he had bought this thing—

Sent to himself, to humiliate him! To spit on him! Trampling on his dignity as Jiang Luoluo’s husband!*

His face hardened as he stared at the item in the box. He wished he could burn it all to ashes right then and there!

How much he wishes him dead!’

The man wasn’t even scared; he had the nerve to fantasize about his wife!

Chest heaving with anger, Fu Tingchuan lifted his eyes and looked at himself in the mirror. He squinted slightly, and a cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

The air was thick with a sense of fierce oppression.

Returning to the bedside, Fu Tingchuan removed the pillow that Jiang Luoluo was holding in his arms and pulled the boy into his arms. He gently stroked Jiang Luoluo’s soft hair.

Half-dreaming and half-awake, Jiang Luoluo’s voice was extra-sweet. “Husband~”

Fu Tingchuan kissed his forehead softly and asked quietly, “Your husband’s back. Is our Luoluo happy?”

The little voice from the boy in his arms was soft and a bit breathy. “Happy~”

Fu Tingchuan rubbed his head and continued, “So when our Luoluo and husband are together, are you happy?”

Jiang Luoluo’s small hand rested lightly on his chest as he replied obediently, “Happy~”

Fu Tingchuan’s eyelids drooped slightly, his voice impossibly gentle. “Then, if it’s just the two of us together from now on, will Luoluo be happy?”

Jiang Luoluo rubbed his small face against Fu Tingchuan’s shoulder, voice sweet. “Happy~”

The smile on Fu Tingchuan’s face grew a bit clearer as his large hand stroked the back of the boy’s head. Following Jiang Luoluo’s words, he murmured, “Then your husband will give our Luoluo a present that will make you happy. Our baby will receive it very soon…”

He held the person in his arms tighter, like a lone traveler in the night holding a precious night pearl.

Fu Tingchuan lifted his eyelids a bit, his handsome face carrying a hint of a smile of expectation.

But the paranoid obsession in his eyes could no longer be hidden…

Early the next morning, Jiang Luoluo lay sprawled in Fu Tingchuan’s embrace, cooing and acting cute for quite a while.

This incarnation of Fu Tingchuan had a gentle and patient temperament, always yielding to Jiang Luoluo’s whims. Even when Jiang Luoluo was reluctant to get out of bed, Fu Tingchuan wouldn’t frown but instead would coax him with soft, soothing words for a long time.

Jiang Luoluo sat at the edge of the bed, watching as Fu Tingchuan, half-kneeling on the carpet, helped him put on his socks. His heart felt all warm and fuzzy.

It was as if he was being held in the palm of Fu Tingchuan’s hand.

After pulling on the socks, Fu Tingchuan leaned down and kissed Jiang Luoluo’s lips. “Husband has work to do today and won’t be able to join our baby for breakfast. Can our baby eat downstairs alone instead?”

Jiang Luoluo looked up at him and obediently nodded. “Then I’ll bring lunch to the office for you at noon.”

Fu Tingchuan’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “Sounds good.”

Half past eleven in the morning.

Jiang Luoluo stepped out of the car, clutching a thermos in his hands, at a distance of about 300 meters from Fu Tingchuan’s office building.

He adored this hidden gem of an internet popular strawberry ice cream shop tucked away on the street, and he always bought a cone each time he passed by.

Since the destination wasn’t far, Jiang Luoluo waved the driver off as usual.

As he left the ice cream shop, he heard hurried footsteps approaching from behind. Concerned about blocking the way, Jiang Luoluo took two steps to the side and resumed walking.

Suddenly—

The world went black. A strip of fabric covered his eyes from behind.

Jiang Luoluo struggled to call out, but a hand quickly clapped over his mouth.

The strawberry ice cream fell to the ground as two ropes tied his hands together. [footnote] T/N: Oh no…. Money… ahem, I mean, ice cream~ [/footnote]

Then came the screech of brakes, car tires rubbing against the road with a piercing sound.

The car door opened. He was shoved into the vehicle, tripped, and fell onto the back seat.

“When you’re just trying to get in some quiet ‘me-time’ with ice cream, but suddenly, an entire kidnapping operation goes down. Classic Tuesday for Jiang Luoluo.”🍦😬 But honestly, this is starting to get out of hand—Fu Tingchuan’s jealousy and Jiang Luoluo’s ice cream mishaps… 😅 *Help a translator out!* Want to keep these wild twists coming?
