WCG Chapter 93

You weren’t dirty, and you weren’t bad.

Jiang Shi finished his question, and all the smiles on everyone’s faces froze. Even the cameraman nearby trembled slightly.

Yuan Yang was the first to react. He turned back to the cameraman and smiled, saying, “Cut this part out during the replay, thanks.”

Jiang Shi was better off staying as a cool, silent guy.

Right now, in the camera frame, they only occupied a small portion, while most of the focus was on the host’s passionate celebratory speech and the deafening screams of the fans below the stage.

All the TLG fans stood up, chanting the players’ names in turn, making the atmosphere electrifying.

“And now, let’s reveal the FMVP of this Grand Finals!”

As the host counted down, the arena’s giant electronic screen flickered. Finally, it settled on Jiang Shi’s face.

The boy on the screen had striking white hair and sharp, upturned eyes, his expression cold. When his image appeared on the big screen, his high and aloof posture made him exude an unrestrained sharpness — a youthful arrogance, a reckless spirit that surged upward like a force of nature.

Fearless in moving forward, with a boundless future ahead.

“The FMVP of this Spring Split is TLG’s AD player, Time! Congratulations to Time!”

The FMVP title could only have gone to either Xie Xu or Time. In the final match, Xu’s performance was dazzling, but Jiang Shi was equally exceptional, achieving a staggering 45% damage output.

Adding in his game-saving maneuver in the penultimate match — assassinating from behind to eliminate both enemy carries — the FMVP was well-deserved.

As soon as the results were announced, Jiang Shi’s fans erupted in deafening cheers. Even standing on stage, he could hear them clearly and couldn’t help but glance toward the audience.

The sheer enthusiasm of his fans not only caught his attention but also drew the camera’s lens toward the crowd for a brief moment.

At that instant, the support banners in Jiang Shi’s fan section were lowered, revealing two bold, glowing characters—

[God Shi]

The live-stream chat exploded with the same phrase, spamming it endlessly.

This was Jiang Shi’s first championship title in his professional career. Before this, people had always called him “Time, T Bao, Little White Hair” and so on. No one had ever added the word “God” to his name.

But today, they did.

Jiang Shi stared at the glowing banner, momentarily stunned.

He saw several fans with tears streaming down their faces, crying as they shouted his new title.

Lowering his head, he rubbed his slightly heated eyes.

Amidst the roaring cheers of his fans, he bowed deeply toward the audience.

After lifting the trophy, each player spent over half an hour signing autographs for fans before finally leaving the stage.

On the team bus, Yuan Yang looked at the five players sitting there, massaging their sore wrists, and couldn’t help but laugh. “I really admire you all. Ending up with wrist injuries from signing autographs instead of gaming.”

Despite saying that, he still pulled out the prepared heat packs and handed them out for relief.

“I’ve already booked a place. It’s that Sichuan restaurant Lele mentioned before. Tonight, eat and drink as much as you want.”

Hearing that, Jiang Lele grinned. “Yang-ge, did you book it after the match or before? You were that sure we’d win?”

Yuan Yang gave him a sidelong glance. “Even if we lost, you’d still deserve a good meal. Even if you had to cry while eating.”

He was referring to Smile, who had still had tears on his face when they shook hands earlier.

Jiang Lele protested, “We wouldn’t cry!”

“Quit pretending,” Yu Hui exposed him immediately. “You teared up when you touched the trophy.”

Jiang Lele’s eyes widened. “Fuck, you saw that? It was just one tear!”

He had thought no one noticed.

Jiang Shi was quietly munching on a Want Want Snow Cake. Hearing this, he glanced at Jiang Lele’s eyes. His natural double eyelids had swollen into puffy monolids.

Are mid-laners always this fragile?

He tossed the empty snack bag into the trash beside him. Just as he turned back, a cup of honey water was handed to him. “After applying the heat pack on your hands, use this on your eyes too. They’re a little red.”

Jiang Shi: “…”

He coughed and clarified, “I didn’t cry. Some of the confetti from above hit my eyes. It was irritating.”

Xie Xu didn’t call him out on the lie and simply played along. “Mm, I know.”

Then, he personally massaged Jiang Shi’s wrist.

Jiang Shi’s fans had been enthusiastic, and he had reciprocated — signing everything they asked for, even more than the others.

The pressure on his wrist was just right. He took a sip of honey water and squinted in satisfaction.

But before he could fully enjoy it, Jiang Lele suddenly tapped the back of his seat and stuck his head over with a mysterious grin.

“T Bao, do you know how much prize money comes with this championship?”

Jiang Shi pulled his team jacket over his lap, subtly covering his and Xie Xu’s intertwined hands, before answering, “I looked it up. The prize pool for the championship is 3.1 million.”

Saying that number made him feel a little lightheaded.

“There’s something else you definitely don’t know,” Jiang Lele chuckled mischievously. “For the FMVP, the club gives an additional reward of 50,000.”

Jiang Shi hadn’t expected this extra windfall, and his mood soared even higher.

Trying to sound casual, he said, “I’ll cover all the late-night snacks for the next month.”

Jiang Lele, satisfied, withdrew triumphantly.

At the restaurant, they didn’t rush to order food but instead ordered a variety of alcohol: red, white, beer, and even fruit wine.

The fruit wine was specifically for Jiang Lele.

This guy had terrible alcohol tolerance. If he got drunk, someone would have to carry him, which was a hassle. So, the entire team unanimously decided to ban him from stronger drinks.

Once the food and drinks arrived, the table instantly grew lively.

Some focused on eating, some on drinking, and everyone exchanged toasts—except for Jiang Lele and Jiang Shi.

Jiang Lele, sipping his fruit wine, blinked in confusion at Jiang Shi. “T Bao, are we sitting at the kids’ table or something?”

Jiang Shi stabbed his chopsticks into his veggies in frustration, ignoring him.

Jiang Lele’s reason was his bad alcohol tolerance, while Jiang Shi’s was his young age and baby-faced looks. The team clearly treats him as a kid.

In the end, Jiang Shi had no choice but to clink glasses with Jiang Lele using fruit wine.

Just as he was gloomily eating, his cup was gently tapped. A crisp clink echoed.

Jiang Shi, with a piece of meat in his mouth, grumbled, “Go away, Jiang Lele. I’m already full on fruit wine.”

But something felt off. The sound had come from his right.

He swallowed the meat and looked up at Xie Xu. “Captain?”

If he remembered correctly, Yang-ge and Zhao Jiu had already toasted Xie Xu several rounds.

Xie Xu, holding his cup, tilted his head slightly. His eyes carried a hint of intoxication and a faint smile. “You don’t have to drink fruit wine.”

Then, he swapped his cup with Jiang Shi’s.

After all, it wasn’t the first time they had done this.

Jiang Shi picked up Xie Xu’s cup and lightly clinked it against his. “Captain, I hope we can win many more championships together in the future.”

At that moment, as he toasted with Xie Xu, that was exactly what he wished for.

That sense of fulfillment – nothing else could compare.

“Xu, why are you disturbing Xiao Shi? Come on, drink with me instead!”

Xie Xu was pulled away, and Jiang Shi’s smile turned upside-down as a result. He sipped his white wine with dull eyes.

Every time they buy wine to accompany the meal, it’s always a good-quality one, with a mellow and rich taste. Such a pity he cannot enjoy it with an equally excellent company.     He just put down the glass and suddenly saw Jiang Lele bumped him with his arm.

Jiang Shi tilted his head and saw Jiang Lele holding an unopened bottle of wine. He winked conspiratorially. “I stole it. Do you want to have a sip?”

In response, Jiang Shi silently held out his glass at him.

After dinner, everyone was drunk. In the end, the only somewhat-sober one, Xie Xu, called the base to pick them up, so that they wouldn’t die on the street.

The sky was overcast, pouring down into a light drizzle. The TLG team was waiting outside the eaves of the hotel.

The cold night wind convinced Xie Xu to put Jiang Shi’s hat on.

Jiang Shi and Jiang Lele secretly drank a whole bottle of wine. Jiang Lele was already drunk his ass off, throwing a tantrum in Yu Hui’s arms. In contrast, Jiang Shi was quiet, leaning in Xie Xu’s arms, eyes closed.

Still, it was clear Jiang Shi was very drunk. His body was so weak that he stumbled as he walked.

Finally, they were picked up.

It was the players from Team 2. The main team were celebrating outside, while Team 2 was partying in the base. Thankfully, Team 2 didn’t drink, so they took on the task of picking them up.

The parking lot was some distance from the restaurant. Team 2 players held umbrellas and walked towards the car, one supporting the other.

Chengcheng looked at the drunk Jiang Shi. “Captain, give me Time. You’ve drunk quite a bit.”

Xie Xu still smelled like he’s drowned in alcohol.

The ground was littered with puddles. Xie Xu glanced at Jiang Shi’s still clean shoes, thought about it, and nodded.

In his current state, he might not be able to take good care of Jiang Shi.

Just as Xie Xu was about to hand the youth over, the said youth, still in his arms, opened his eyes.

Jiang Shi impatiently pulled up the brim of his hat. When he saw Chengcheng, he frowned and said, “I’ll walk by myself.”

After saying that, he straightened up and leaned against Xie Xu, pretending that he was not drunk.

Xie Xu was helpless. “Forget it, I’ll support him, and you go help Back. He can’t handle Lele.”

Since Jiang Shi looked somewhat fine, Chengcheng nodded and walked quickly towards Yu Hui.

Meanwhile, Jiang Lele had already left them all and ran to the side of the road.

His footsteps faded into the distance. Jiang Shi cracked his eyes open just a sliver to sneak a peek. Then, as soon as he tried to straighten up, his legs gave out. Fortunately, Xie Xu caught him around the waist, preventing him from collapsing to the ground.

Xie Xu pinched his flushed cheeks. “Still pretending?”

He looked at the puddles of various sizes ahead, turned his back to Jiang Shi, and bent down. “Put your hat on. I’ll carry you across.”

Xie Xu carried people steadily. Jiang Shi rested his chin on Xie Xu’s shoulder. “Xie Xu, it’s so noisy!”

The loud clamoring echoed in his ears.

He lifted his head and turned in a circle, but all he saw was double.

Jiang Shi dejectedly let his head fall back down, this time pressing his face against Xie Xu’s back. He mumbled, “I can’t see.”

Xie Xu replied, “Lele is being held down by two people, struggling like crazy. It is a bit loud.”

Jiang Shi: “Xie Xu, your back is so big. I can’t cover my face.”

It was raining, and he wanted to shield himself.

Feeling Jiang Shi rubbing his face all over his back, Xie Xu took a moment to process his train of thought before saying, “You don’t need to. You have a coat.”

Jiang Shi thought about it and agreed. “But your face isn’t covered, so you’ll still get wet.”

As he spoke, he reached out. “I’ll cover your face for you.”

Xie Xu’s steps halted. His voice carried a helpless chuckle. “You’re covering my eyes.”

He couldn’t see the road anymore.

“Hold on to me properly, or you’ll fall, and your new shoes will get dirty.”

At that, Jiang Shi immediately let go and instead wrapped his arms tightly around Xie Xu’s neck.

The ground was full of water, and Xie Xu had just wiped his shoes clean.

When Jiang Shi was drunk, he became very chatty.

“Xie Xu, how much did you drink?”

“Not much.”

“Am I heavy?”

“You’re light. Did you lose weight again from training?”

“Seems like it. But I still have some belly fat, a little ring around my waist. I’ll show you later.”

“Mm.”

“Xie Xu, weren’t you disgusted by how dirty I was back then? After that fight, I didn’t even wash my face. My hands were covered in dust. If you look closely, the snowman doll still has faint gray fingerprints.”

“Xie Xu, I was a bad kid.”

Jiang Shi’s voice was low as he said this, blending into the rain, carrying a hint of dampness and helplessness.

He was talking about their first meeting at the expo three years ago.

Xie Xu paused in his steps, then, carrying Jiang Shi, steadily stepped over the puddles. “You weren’t dirty, and you weren’t bad.”

Past or present, Jiang Shi’s eyes had always been bright and pure.

Otherwise, Xie Xu wouldn’t have gone to that corner.

After he finished speaking, the arms around his neck tightened a little more.

Back at the base, everyone went upstairs to their respective rooms.

Drunk and staggering, Jiang Shi followed Xie Xu inside. Jiang Lele, also dazed, tried to trail after them, but Yu Hui grabbed him by the collar and dragged him away. “Don’t cause trouble.”

He was about to ask Xie Xu if he needed help settling Jiang Shi in after dealing with Jiang Lele, but when he turned back, Xie Xu’s door was already closed.

Yu Hui hesitated for a moment before covering Jiang Lele’s mouth and hauling him off before he could start banging on the door.

It was Jiang Shi who had shut the door, purely out of instinct.

A faint glow from the streetlights outside filtered in through the window.

In the darkness, their gazes met.

Jiang Shi’s heart skipped a beat. Almost instinctively, he tilted his head up and leaned in.

Drunk and uncoordinated, Jiang Shi missed at first, bumping into Xie Xu’s chin. It was only when Xie Xu cooperated by lowering his head that he succeeded.

Their lips were both a little dry, their breaths heavy with the scent of alcohol.

Fueled by the reckless euphoria of victory and the haze of intoxication, they both lost all sense of restraint.

Especially Jiang Shi, he was utterly unpracticed, his movements erratic. Their teeth clinked together every so often, and faint, indistinct swallows could be heard between kisses.

They had never kissed like this before.

Tonight, Jiang Shi was unusually bold.

Xie Xu’s thumb pressed against Jiang Shi’s Adam’s apple, feeling the rapid tremors beneath.

The sensation of being held down made Jiang Shi feel both stifled and exhilarated. He couldn’t help but bite Xie Xu.

Xie Xu let go and rubbed Jiang Shi’s burning-hot ear, his voice hoarse. “God Shi is so fierce.”

Hearing those words so unexpectedly, Jiang Shi flushed with embarrassment. His fingers clenched on Xie Xu’s shoulders. Unable to help himself, he pulled him down for another kiss.

In the haze, Jiang Shi suddenly felt the waistband of his pants loosen.

The realization hit him like a jolt of electricity, and he froze on the spot.

He tried to back away, but Xie Xu shifted his weight, and in an instant, their positions were reversed.

His back pressed against the cold, hard door. He had nowhere to escape.

The kisses turned into something else.

Jiang Shi felt the blood rush to his head. His face burned as he gritted his teeth, barely suppressing any sound.

At the same time, he started counting in his head.

After a moment, Jiang Shi gasped for air. “Wait… slow down.”

Xie Xu didn’t comply. In the darkness, he kissed the tip of Jiang Shi’s sweat-dampened nose. “Why should I slow down?”

His deep, husky voice sent shivers down Jiang Shi’s spine, leaving him unable to respond.

He didn’t want to finish so soon. It would be too embarrassing.

But the thought that the same hands working on him now had once lifted countless trophies made it impossible to stay calm.

Images of Xie Xu in his precise black-and-red team uniform, holding a championship trophy, surfaced in his mind.

Jiang Shi knew he wouldn’t last. He shut his eyes, rested his head on Xie Xu’s shoulder, and, with great difficulty, murmured,

“I want to rub your little mole.”

Xie Xu’s movements paused. Then he kissed the corner of Jiang Shi’s wet lips. “Okay.”

Jiang Shi had traced that tiny mole on the inside of Xie Xu’s index finger countless times. Something that small shouldn’t even be noticeable.

But when Xie Xu brushed it against his skin, Jiang Shi couldn’t help but tremble.

***

A few crumpled tissues had been tossed into the trash.

Jiang Shi lay sprawled on the bed, covering his face.

The sound of running water came from the bathroom. His ears were burning.

He hadn’t expected it to be over so fast.

Even if he knew that he was weak for Xie Xu’s hand, he didn’t know he would be so embarrassed by just…

Jiang Shi burrowed into the blanket.

When Xie Xu came out, he was met with the sight of Jiang Shi lying spread-eagle on the bed.

Head buried under the covers, shirt rolled up, exposing a stretch of his waist. Under the light, his skin was almost dazzlingly pale.

In a way, Jiang Shi had indeed shown him the belly fat he mentioned earlier.

Xie Xu averted his gaze and stood still for a full minute before finally walking over.

He tugged Jiang Shi’s shirt back down, pulled the blanket over him, and uncovered his face.

His cheeks were flushed, though whether from the heat or something else, Xie Xu wasn’t sure.

His breathing was steady. He was already fast asleep.

Xie Xu: “…”

After a moment of silence, he helped Jiang Shi take off his shoes and socks, wiped his face and neck clean, and tried to adjust his sleeping posture.

But just as he moved, Jiang Shi kicked him in the knee.

Half-conscious, Jiang Shi cracked his eyes open and locked gazes with Xie Xu.

Xie Xu’s eyes were dark.

Just as he was about to say something, another kick came his way.

Jiang Shi mumbled, “Stinky cat, no getting on the bed. Get off.”

T/L: congrats on the handjob Xiao Shi! Seeing his extreme hand-con, it’s probably too much for him compared to other lewd things lol

  1. Paprika says:

Lmao Jiang Shi how ungrateful you get a victory handjob and then try to kick Xie Xu out of bed

  2. Azulle says:

Didn’t Jiang Shi say something about only kicking the blanket, and definitely never Xie Xu, in earlier chapters? 🤣
