Lu Yunye was stunned suddenly: “What did you say?”
He breathed heavily, almost confirming word by word, “Are you sure?”
“It’s a complete mark, you can’t go back on your word.”
Shi Yi didn’t say anything, and simply wrapped his arms around his neck, and buried his face against Lu Yunye’s neck. The cool cedar pheromone seemed to relieve the burning heat coursing through his body. After a while, he said softly, “Yes.”
Obviously he sent out the invitation first, so why does he feel shy now?
Shi Yi was warm and fragrant, soft against his body.Lu Yunye’s self-control was finally defeated. He bent down and hooked the man’s legs, and hugged him into his arms with all his strength.
“Ah…” Shi Yi let out a shallow cry, his arms still wrapped around Lu Yunye’s neck as he was carried in a princess hold.
He withdrew his hand and huddled awkwardly in the embrace as Lu Yunye firmly carried him up the stairs and kicked open the door of the master bedroom.
Feeling the soft mattress supporting his back, Shi Yi half propped up his body, but was pressed down by and his lips fiercely kissed.
The kiss was very hot. Shi Yi had never experienced this before. He was so dizzy from being kissed that he could only lie down and breathe. When the senses became clear again, he stretched out a hand but only hugged the backside of his head.
“Are you afraid?” Lu Yunye asked.
Shi Yi looked at him and said, “I want to watch you.”
With the warm jade pendant on his chest, it made his skin tone seem even cooler. The red string is like a winding scar, becoming the only blemish on the canvas.
In order not to hurt anyone, Lu Yunye moved lightly and comforted him: “Hey…”
Shi Yi just looked at him in a daze, completely at a loss, forgot to cooperate, and also forgot to be shy. He simply stared into Lu Yunye’s eyes, as if wanting to remember this moment forever.
Such dazed and ignorant eyes almost made the alpha go crazy, wishing he could bully this person from the inside out.
Afraid that he would hurt, Lu Yunye didn’t say anything, so he kissed the sweat on his temples lightly: “Uncomfortable?”
Shi Yi seemed to come back to his senses, and put his hands on his stomach in a daze.
“Little ancestor!” Lu Yunye gritted his teeth.
Lu Yunye turned the person over, revealing his sharp canine teeth.
He was finally scared. Not seeing Lu Yunye made him flustered. Shi Yi grabbed the pendant on his chest and struggled in a low voice: “Don’t, don’t…”
The expected pain didn’t happen, Lu Yunye just bent down and kissed his gland, “Shi Yi, I love you.”
Cedar pheromone enveloped him, easing his senses. He unconsciously relaxed and let go of the crumpled sheets.
Lu Yunye continued to coax gently: “Don’t be afraid, I love you.”
The promises rained down one after another, penetrating Shi Yi’s defenses. He whimpered and felt a pain in the back of his neck as his glands were bitten.
Unlike a temporary mark, the pain seemed to hit the brain directly, Shi Yi opened his eyes wide, feeling like a hole had been made as the scent belonging to Lu Yunye poured in crazily.
The breath he had been hanging for a long time finally let go. Shi Yi passed out, only feeling that he was falling continuously, with whirling wind and snow around him, piling up into a thick quilt, holding him firmly in place.
Shi Yi had a long, long dream. The memories from long ago fell like snowflakes – the grievances he suffered at Shi’s house, the warm palm of his father, the firm embrace of Little Pinecone, one by one, passed through him with traces of life, refreshed anew.
His memories of the past were not annihilated due to trauma, but a key is needed to retrieve them.
There wasn’t any of the anxiety and hysteria he imagined. Instead it felt very warm and peaceful, as if he emerged from the mud to watch his own past.
Then, he understood the source of that sense of security. In the white mist of memory, there were always hands leading him, and the figure became clearer the closer he got.
It’s Lu Yunye.
In early spring and April, the weather was no longer cold, and the sun leaked in through the cracks in the window. When Shi Yi opened his eyes, there was a moment of confusion, and he couldn’t tell where or when it was.
Was it the outing where he sprained his foot when he was five years old, the birthday party he attended when he was seven years old, or… the time he was twenty-five years old, he sat in front of the camera with Lu Yunye and took a wedding photo.
It all happened in early spring.
Shi Yi lay there for a long time before realizing that there was something wrong with the pheromones around him. It was not as clear as cedar, nor as sweet as peach. It was like a perfect combination of the two. He belatedly touched the back of his neck, only to feel a thin band-aid.
The slight stabbing pain reminded him of last night. Despite the eagerness in his invitation, he wanted to retreat when the things actually happened. He remembered alpha’s eyes, which were black and bright, with a strong possessive desire.
Shi Yi pursed his lips, he didn’t feel out of control and or unbearable; he was still awake and didn’t lose his mind like Shu Wen once did. On the contrary, he felt extremely at ease and secure, and last night’s sudden climax had also faded quite a bit.
There was a light knock on the door, and Lu Yunye came in with the ginseng soup that the nanny prepared. It was still piping hot and needed to cool down before drinking.
As if he didn’t expect Shi Yi to wake up, Lu Yunye’s heart trembled when he met those clear eyes unexpectedly.
It is said that a perfectly coupled partner is like a soul divided into two bodies. The probability of encountering such a person is extremely small.
But as long as they meet, they will inevitably be attracted to each other. Lu Yunye didn’t believe in this before, but the moment he saw Shi Yi, he felt a kind of indescribable satisfaction.
There was no more crying or going crazy during the susceptible period; there was a sense of security he didn’t even know he was looking for in his soul. He only knew that as long as this person was by his side, he would be omnipotent.
Shi Yi spoke, his voice hoarse: “Why don’t you come here?”
Lu Yunye came back to his senses, put the soup on the bedside, sat next to Shi Yi, looked at his omega in a daze, and shed tears as if possessed.
This was the first time Shi Yi saw Lu Yunye crying when awake. His eyes didn’t blink, his nose wasn’t red, there wasn’t any fragility – he couldn’t even tell the difference between joy and sorrow – only continuous tears pouring out.
Shi Yi propped himself up to wipe his tears, and joked, “You act as if I’m going to die.”
Lu Yunye didn’t say a word, buried his face in Shi Yi’s, and said after a pause, “I’m happy.”
He hugged Shi Yi, turned them over on the bed regardless of people’s dislike, and wrapped his omega up with his arms and legs.
Shi Yi rolled over in his arms, his forehead just touched the familiar neck socket, and the glands that had undergone complete marking exuded a unique smell, harmoniously blending together.
Lu Yunye said in a hoarse voice, “Baby, your estrus is here.”
Shi Yi was slightly stunned. It turned out that the sudden high fever last night was a forewarning. The estrus period that he had been dreading and didn’t want to face, came quietly when he was not prepared at all… It didn’t seem that scary.
Shi Yi raised his head and took the initiative to hold Lu Yunye’s hand: “Then if I want it, will you give it?”
Lu Yunye felt embarrassed, and looked at the soup bowl next to him: “You need to eat something first.”
Shi Yi laughed out loud, feeling that his alpha was really cute and silly this morning, “Then feed me.”
A bowl of soup was shared between two people, and when the sun was on the top of the clouds, the room was once again covered in waves.
