After smoking half, Song Wei flicked his phone boredly while waiting for someone to finish washing. He made an appointment purely out of physical needs. Every few months he would find a healthy person to vent it out, almost like a routine, but this time aftering bringing someone home, he felt a little bit dispirited.
But he has already entered the bathroom, and can’t be driven away. Song Wei closed the updated medical report, and a WeChat message popped up from Lu Yan.
Song Wei looked at the crying emoji, half laughing and cursing, thinking that he really knew how to time things. After glancing at the bathroom, he grabbed his keys and went out.
On the other side, lying on the sofa, Lu Yan had almost fallen asleep. Song Wei, that big-tailed wolf, hasn’t seen his message yet? He won’t have done it immediately after inviting someone to his home – that’s not hygienic.
He put the water bottle on his forehead and rolled it, it wasn’t hot anymore.
Just as he was thinking wildly, there was a sudden clatter next door. The corners of Lu Yan’s lips curled up. He won’t have pulled out halfway and chased someone out, right?
He waited for someone to knock on the door, but the combination lock made a beeping sound – the big-tailed wolf really didn’t regard himself as an outsider and went straight in.
Song Wei saw someone lying on the sofa at a glance. He was fine in the morning, and looked even more miserable after one day, with severe bags under his eyes that looked even scarier than if he had stayed up all night.
Judging from his appearance, the child finally calmed down. The arrogant face from before was no more as he huddled pitifully in the blanket, his little face a little pale.
Song Wei tucked him in the quilt. “Uncomfortable?”
Lu Yan smirked devilishly in his heart, and used all his skills to nod and began to point blame: “Uncle Song, did you prescribe the wrong medicine for me?”
Song Wei tested his forehead, his heart clear like a mirror. “It won’t be so serious if you take the wrong medicine. It must be 40 or 50 degrees right now[mfn]Celsius. After 40 is already a severe fever[/mfn].”
“You don’t have a thermometer?”
Lu Yan hid the hot water bottle under his butt guilty. After thinking about it, he should have lowered the temperature a bit.
After a while, Song Wei’s cell phone began to jingle. The little omega probably found out that someone was missing, and came looking.
Lu Yan seized the time and said, “Uncle Song, do you think I should go to the hospital for an IV?”
Song Wei looked at the black spot on his thumb: “Did you make the dark circles?”
Lu Yan: …
Seeing him speechless, Song Wei slowly answered his question: “You don’t need to go to the hospital, just rest at home and stop playing with your phone.”
This meant that he was leaving. Lu Yan glanced at him three times, but he was not in a hurry. It seemed that the little omega was not charming enough.
But he consciously ruined someone’s happiness, so he stretched out two fingers and hooked Song Wei’s sleeves. “I’m so hungry, there’s nothing in the fridge.”
“I just moved here, and I don’t know where the market is. I haven’t eaten seriously all day. Can Uncle Song help me buy something to eat?”
He isn’t lying. The two pastries from the cafe have long been digested, leaving a stomach full of water sloshing in the stomach. He can remain awake now due to his interest in □□[mfn]unstated in the raws[/mfn].
“You don’t know where the market is, but you know where the bar is.” Song Wei touched the top of his head, “Your little radar is quite powerful.”
As he said that, Song Wei stood up. “What do you want to eat? I’ll go buy it.”
“Fried chicken burgers, small cakes, oden, iced coke.” Lu Yan reported a long list, and added, “I’m very, very hungry, and in a hurry. The longer I don’t eat, the more uncomfortable I am.”
“Just wait.” Song Wei picked up the key and went out. The corners of his lips curled up in the corridor. Lu Yan was clearly a little white fox, but he insisted on pretending to be a white rabbit.
Seeing someone leaving, Lu Yan followed closely at the door and looked through the cat’s eyes. Song Wei actually went directly to the elevator, and didn’t go home to console Xiao Qing’er[mfn]the omega in Song Wei’s house; a little lover[/mfn].
It seems that Lu Yunye’s words are more important. Feeling at ease, Lu Yan sat back on the sofa contentedly. The rerun of the movie started, and he happily started watching it from the beginning again.
Within ten minutes, there was another movement at the door. He wasn’t very hungry at first, but after listing a bunch of food, he felt an inexplicable sense of anticipation. At first, he couldn’t wait, as if he could smell the fried chicken through the door.
Song Wei came in. There was no fried chicken burger, and he was carrying a large plastic bag in his hand.
Lu Yan suddenly lost face: “What about food?”
Song Wei walked over unhurriedly. He took out a box of millet porridge, two big buns, three yolk buns, a container of steamed buns, soup dumplings, and a plate of pickles from the plastic bag.
“Eat, China only has this kind of hamburger.”
“Do you think I’m a fool?” Lu Yan stared at him expressionlessly.
“I’m the fool.” Song Wei squeezed out a small steamed bun and ate it first. “Why else would I leave my place and come over to serve you?”
“Where did you see us?”
Hearing his confession, Lu Yan didn’t hide it: “Cafe, I broke up with Puppy.”
Seeing Song Wei’s momentary confusion, Lu Yan added: “The omega next to me last night.”
“You should’ve said so earlier, I thought it was a real puppy.” Song Wei grabbed another soup dumpling and stuffed it into his mouth.
Lu Yan couldn’t bear it anymore: “Is it for me or you?”
He didn’t want to eat steamed buns at first, but seeing Song Wei eating so deliciously, the little glutton in his stomach was hooked.
“Eat together.” Song Wei pushed the takeout boxes towards him. “Drink the millet porridge while it’s hot.”
Mind full of fried chicken burgers, Lu Yan picked up a custard bun and bit down. The milky taste was sweet, not greasy, and the delicate carbohydrates immediately soothed his hungry stomach.
He grew up eating Chinese food with his family since he was a child, and his acceptance is very good. The steamed buns are stuffed with mushrooms and shepherd’s purse. There are not many seasonings, and the main flavors come from the ingredients themselves. It was very satisfying paired with plain millet porridge.
The two of them ate, drank, and watched the movie in silence. Seeing that the progress bar had passed halfway, there was a loud bang from the door next door, followed by the thud of little leather shoes stepping on the ground.
Song Wei slapped his head and got up: “It’sI forgot.”
He forgot that there was another one at home.
Lu Yan went to watch the play with a full stomach. The little omega had already taken the elevator downstairs, Song Wei didn’t chase after him, but opened the door with the key to see if anything was stolen.
The little internet celebrity is also quite well-known in the circle, like a princess. He has probably never been let out to dry by anyone like this, and sent himself for nothing.
The little beauty’s glass heart was completely broken, so he ruined Song Wei’s house, and left four big bloody characters on the floor with lipstick: “Eat shit!”
In the bathroom, there were more words on the mirror: “You piece of dog shit!”
Lu Yan couldn’t help but burst out laughing, and patted Song Wei’s butt from behind. “It’s written on the mirror. Dr. Song, do you want to switch to practicing it yourself?”
Song Wei turned his head and glanced at him, then turned and left.
“Where are you going?” Lu Yan asked from behind.
“Your place.”
“Why are you going to my place?” Lu Yan was dumbfounded. Could it be that Song Wei is really willing to let him do it?
“I have to wait for the cleaning aunt to clean up my place first.” Song Wei looked back at him. “Don’t daydream all day long.”
Hahaha, LY shot himself in the foot by interrupting SW’s business.
