IRDFPFCIW Chapter 10

The Birth of an Actor?

Next came a seamless transition into the eating show.

Jiang Tang felt regretful that they didn’t have holographic equipment yet, making it difficult to share the delicious food with the adorable audience in the live stream room. So, he adjusted the camera and focused it on Qin Fei and Lu Rongming who were wolfing down the food.

Audience: … Thank you! That’s even more cruel!

They had been taught since childhood that being unable to control their appetite was the most incompetent behavior and that they deserved to be despised and looked down upon! However, the way these two were eating looked so delicious. It was heartbreaking!

The two men seemed to be struggling a bit with the slender chopsticks in their hands, so they resorted to just opening their “abyss-like mouths” and leaned against the edge of the bowl. The noodles that the streamer had just referred to were slurped up in an instant. Then they grabbed a large piece of perfectly colored tomato and egg, closing their eyes to chew with expressions of satisfaction as if they had no regrets in life.

The viewers in the livestream could do nothing but resent themselves while swallowing their own saliva like crazy.

Why was even that little kitten, with its head buried in the bowl and unable to stop, eating so happily?

Wen Renyuan quickly finished the steamed egg in his bowl. He licked his paws, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Jiang Tang caught him staring and looked down at the noodles in front of him that he hadn’t even touched yet.

“Finished already? You can’t eat anymore,” Jiang Tang reached out to pat the little cat’s belly. “Look at your little belly…”

Jiang Tang paused and swallowed the second half of his sentence. The fluffy little belly under his hand was not slightly round like he had imagined. Instead, it looked quite flat.

Jiang Tang: ???

Where did that entire bowl of steamed egg go? Is this a stomach or a black hole?

Jiang Tang pointed to his tomato and egg noodles and asked, “Do you want to eat this?”

Wen Renyuan: “Meow.”

“But there’s salt in this…” Jiang Tang hesitated. Generally speaking, cats on Earth shouldn’t eat human food because the excess oils and salt could strain their kidneys. But they were in the interstellar era now, so he didn’t know how it worked for interstellar cats…

Jiang Tang had no choice but to ask Lu Rongming for help, “Uncle Lu, can kittens eat this?”

Lu Rongming was enjoying chewing on a chicken bone and unwilling to spit it out. He simply nodded. The little cats and dogs weren’t that particular.

Wen Renyuan at the side struggled to suppress his desire to nod in agreement.

Right now, he was just a weak and helpless cat trying to get free food. How could he have any bad intentions? He just had to make sure not to reveal himself.

Jiang Tang then served a small bowl of noodles to Wen Renyuan and carefully broke the noodles with chopsticks. Just as he handed it over to the little cat, Wen Renyuan buried his head into it.

Jiang Tang: … Suddenly, the pressure of supporting the family felt even heavier.

Wen Renyuan had just swallowed the delicious noodles and his speculation was confirmed. Sure enough, the slowly increasing sting in his head after being injured was relieved. He could even feel a tiny warm current surging into his almost exhausted spiritual sea.

Although it was small, it felt like a drop of dew after a long journey in the dry desert.

Who exactly is this young man?

Does he know that the food he makes has such powerful effects?

While Wen Renyuan ate and pondered, he would occasionally steal glances at Jiang Tang. No matter what, it was best to draw him into his own territory and protect him well.

Wen Renyuan was thinking a lot, but Jiang Tang had no clue. He watched the two people and the cat enjoying their food, feeling touched by this harmonious scene.

Jiang Tang smiled. It truly felt like home.

The audience in the live stream room saw the warm smile on the little streamer’s face, and at that moment, they felt a sense of warmth in their hearts.

But it turns out that no matter what era, there will always be some people disturbing other people’s lives. Suddenly, some discordant comments filled the live stream room, appearing particularly abrupt—

[1Z1Z: Where did the streamer find these actors? I thought I was watching The Birth of an Actor / haha]

[jesssy: This group of actors is not very good! Too fake, right? / eye roll]

[Tomorrow Will Be Better: No way, no way? Is there really anyone who believes this food is delicious?]

[Sunken Ship: Looks like another little clown seeking attention… ]

Jiang Tang quickly scanned these comments with the corner of his eye, feeling no turmoil inside.

These snarky and sarcastic remarks were all handled the same way. It was by dismissing them as sour grapes from those who couldn’t take them.

Qin Fei and the others were almost done eating. Jiang Tang turned to the camera and flashed a harmless smile. “That wraps up today’s livestream. Tomorrow, I will prepare some mouthwatering chicken and other delicacies. Let’s meet again at the same time!”

Comments: Wait! Will we really have holographic tomorrow? Please give us a definite answer!
