TYMRHBDES Chapter 52

Chapter 52: The Gloomy, Obsessive Alpha CEO x Sweet, Submissive Omega 4

“Kicked out so quickly?”

The newcomer sneered. “Utterly useless. Such a waste of that pretty face.”

The strange sensation on the back of Jiang Luoluo’s neck distracted him from what the person was saying. He touched his neck, feeling as though he had overlooked something.

“Stop touching it! You’ll cripple yourself if you keep fiddling with it!”

The person grabbed Jiang Luoluo’s arm and dragged him toward a white sports car. “Stop making a fool of yourself here. We’ll talk about this at home.”

“Let go of me.”

Jiang Luoluo tried to pry the person’s fingers loose, but the natural strength disparity between an Omega and an Alpha was too great. With almost no effort, he was pulled into the white sports car.

The white sports car sped away, leaving the luxurious mansion behind and heading in another direction.

The Jiang Family Residence.

When Jiang Luoluo was dragged into the living room, the Jiang family was gathered together, seemingly in the midst of a family meeting.

“Oh, changed clothes, have you?”

The Jiang family’s eldest son, an Alpha known for his philandering ways, glanced at his half-brother’s face. His hollow eyes, usually brimming with lust, now appeared listless and cloudy. “Did that Huo fellow keep you?”

“What are you thinking about?”

The man who had brought Jiang Luoluo back sneered. “He doesn’t even have Huo Zedong’s pheromones on him. Mr. Huo never marked him in the first place.”

He spoke casually, sprawling onto the sofa. “Father, you miscalculated. He simply wasn’t interested in him. I told you long ago, Master Huo has seen all kinds of Omegas. Sending him a crippled little thing like this, how could he possibly be interested?”

“Second Brother is right.”

The woman standing beside Father Jiang glared at Jiang Luoluo with a venomous expression. “I said we shouldn’t have raised him for so many years. He has a seductive face but is crippled. Raising him was a waste of money; we’ll never get our investment back!”

The strange sensation in his glands made Jiang Luoluo feel dizzy.

He had never felt any affection for this family. They had always treated him as a tool to be exchanged for money, and the sight of them made him sick. Hearing their cold, sarcastic remarks while he was sick only made it worse.

The discomfort intensified, and he turned to leave, only to be blocked by someone approaching.

“You little money-wasting brat, who told you to leave?”

The speaker was Father Jiang’s youngest son, on the verge of adulthood and about to undergo his second differentiation. Genetic testing predicted he would become an alpha.

Memories flooded back like a tide, images of the original host being humiliated by him flashing through Jiang Luoluo’s mind.

Jiang Luoluo slowly turned, surveying the ugly faces of the five family members.

“You all hate me. Wouldn’t it be better if I left? Why are you stopping me?”

“Leave? You wish!”

His stepmother shrieked shrilly, “We’ve raised you all these years. Do you think you can just walk away now?”

“Raised me all these years?”

Jiang Luoluo pinched his palm to clear his head, meeting the woman’s venomous, cruel eyes.

“The law prohibits child abandonment. Parents, as the primary guardians, have a legal obligation to raise their children until adulthood.”

“And among the penalties for abandonment, abandoning an Omega carries the harshest punishment, including fines and criminal charges.”

The slender Omega looked at the man seated in the center, his clear voice unusually calm:

“Are you willingly taking me in? Or are you doing this to avoid the consequences of your crimes and escape punishment? You’re obligated to raise me until I’m an adult.”

“An equal exchange is fair. Why do you call it charity?”

“You dare to defy me!”

Provoked, Father Jiang slammed his fist on the table. “I am your father! You are my son! You will do as I say!”

Jiang Tianyi, the Jiang Family’s spoiled youngest son, raised his hand to strike Jiang Luoluo. Jiang Luoluo looked up at him. “Jiang Tianyi, think carefully. According to the Omega Protection Act, assaulting an Omega carries a minimum sentence of three days’ detention.”

“You—! You’ve been out for a while, and you dare to talk back now? I’ll smash your mouth!”

Jiang Tianyi’s raised hand remained suspended in mid-air. The Omega before him stared back with unwavering resolve, as if daring him to strike and send him to jail.

Jiang Tianyi, a coward who bullied the weak and feared the strong, found Jiang Luoluo’s recent behavior unsettling. He hesitated to strike, his hand frozen in place.

“Enough, stop arguing,” Father Jiang intervened, defusing the tension.

Jiang Tianyi lowered his hand, walked over to Father Jiang, and shook his arm. “Dad, we’ve fed and cared for him all these years. Now that he’s finally grown up and might be useful, we can’t just let him go!”

“Huo Zedong doesn’t want him, right? Uncle Li doesn’t mind his disability. We should just marry him off to Uncle Li!”

Jiang Tianyi’s face twisted into the same cruel expression as his mother’s as he offered his “thoughtful” advice. “Although Uncle Li can offer far less than Huo Zedong, it’s still better than keeping this useless waste around the house.”

Jiang Tianyi’s older brother, Jiang Tianzhen, gazed at the fair-skinned, red-lipped omega with a hint of regret on his leering face. “That old geezer, Uncle Li, is just too old…”

Watching this family discuss how to sell him off for the best price, Jiang Luoluo felt waves of nausea. He had never known such shameless people could exist.

“I won’t marry him! Don’t even think about it!”

Jiang Luoluo turned to leave, but the people at the door surrounded him, blocking his path.

Father Jiang rose from his chair. “Don’t blame me. Blame yourself for being a useless Omega, bringing no glory to the family!”

“I had hoped your face might have earned us some favor with Huo Zedong. Since he’s not interested, you’ll just have to serve as a warm-up act and become Uncle Li’s concubine.”

Jiang Tianyi chuckled triumphantly, adding fuel to the fire: “When you’re with Uncle Li, you’d better be obedient. He doesn’t care about your Omega Protection Act nonsense.”

“He’s got connections upstairs. He’s killed so many Omega wives and still walks free.”

“But you Omegas are just base creatures. You can’t survive without an alpha, relying only on pheromones to lure them in…”

Jiang Tianyi drawled, his gaze lingering maliciously on Jiang Luoluo, whose pheromones were leaking uncontrollably. “Oh, what a coincidence—your heat cycle’s arrived~”

Father Jiang frowned. “Lock him up immediately and give him an inhibitor—”

Jiang Tianyi tugged at his father’s arm, interrupting him. “Dad, Uncle Li will be here soon. If he sees him in this base state, we can negotiate a higher price…”

Jiang Luoluo’s neck burned so intensely it felt like it was about to scald him. He leaned against the doorframe, trying to step outside, but a group of Beta servants blocked his path.

“Look at you, barely able to stand. Let Brother help you…”

An arm reached out toward him.

Jiang Luoluo’s legs trembled as he dodged the touch, hearing Father Jiang’s indulgent voice, “Tianzhen, stop fooling around.”

Disgusting.

Facing this family, Jiang Luoluo felt a deep, visceral revulsion.

The hand grabbed his arm, lingering there, sending goosebumps prickling across his skin.

“Get away from me.”

Jiang Luoluo pushed the hand away, but the man, Jiang Tianzhen, leaned in closer, reaching out to embrace him.

*Slap!* A sharp slap echoed through the room. Jiang Tianzhen clutched his reddened cheek. “You little bitch! How dare you hit me?!”

“You’ve gone too far! I’ll kill you today!!”

He raised his palm to strike Jiang Luoluo, but before his hand could fall, Jiang Tianzhen was sent flying sideways, crashing into a pillar with a loud *crash*.

“Damn it! Who the hell dared hit me—”

Jiang Tianzhen cursed as he struggled to his feet, clutching his waist. Two black-suited bodyguards immediately pinned him to the ground and dragged him away like a piece of trash.

“Hit you?”

A cold voice echoed from above, a gaze of immense pressure falling upon him. He heard the alpha standing beside Jiang Luoluo’s voice, laced with a chilling, sinister undertone,

“I should kill you.”

“Mr. Huo…” The torment of his heat had reddened Jiang Luoluo’s eyes. He leaned against Huo Zedong’s waist, murmuring softly.

The scent of strong liquor pheromones briefly eased Jiang Luoluo’s discomfort, but it quickly made his glands burn even hotter.

Huo Zedong pulled him into his arms, coldly surveying the nauseating family before finally fixing his gaze on the middle-aged alpha.

He clearly remembered how this man, surnamed Jiang, had groveled to sell his son.

Who would have thought that the moment he turned his back, this man would dare to treat the Omega he had chosen with such arrogance?

“Mr. Huo… Mr. Huo…”

Father Jiang stammered, his eyes wide with shock as he watched Huo Zedong cradle his useless son in his arms. He forced a fawning smile onto his face. “Why are you here—”

The cold-faced alpha cut off his flattery. “My person? You were trying to give him away to someone else?”

Huo Zedong’s dark eyes narrowed, his voice icy. “Jiang Guodong, you have quite the nerve.”

Jiang Guodong’s heart skipped a beat, and he nearly collapsed to his knees.

Huo Zedong reached out, presenting a knife before Jiang Guodong’s eyes.

Jiang Guodong swayed and fell to his knees, terror flashing in his eyes. “Mr. Huo… Mr. Huo… what do you mean by this?”

Huo Zedong sneered, his black leather shoe stomping down hard on Jiang Tianzhen’s face.

“He touched my person. Asking for compensation is not excessive.”

“Dad! Father! Save me, Father!!” Jiang Tianzhen’s face was distorted from the pressure, saliva dripping from his mouth as he stared at his father, Jiang Guodong, in terror.

“Mr. Huo, he’s still young… He hasn’t done anything wrong…” Jiang Guodong clutched the dagger, suddenly turning to Jiang Luoluo, who was protected in Huo Zedong’s arms, as if he had found a savior.

“Luo Luo! Your father and elder brother have treated you well over the years. Please beg Mr. Huo, beg him to show mercy…”

Jiang Luoluo turned his head in disgust, burying his small face in Huo Zedong’s chest.

How disgusting.

Jiang Guodong looked up, meeting Huo Zedong’s impatient gaze.

He dared not waste another word. Trembling, he held the dagger over Jiang Tianzhen’s right hand, the one that had touched Jiang Luoluo.

“Don’t blame your father, Tianzhen. I have to consider the Jiang Family. Who told you to offend the wrong person… Your father is doing this for your own good…”

“AAAAAAHHHHHHHH——”

A bloodcurdling scream pierced the air. Jiang Guodong seemed to finally snap out of it, dropping the bloodied dagger and staring at Huo Zedong in terror. “Mr. Huo, you see…”

“You’re truly a wonderful father,” the man said, his voice cold and mocking. He glanced at Jiang Tianzhen, who was lying on the ground, clutching his wrist and writhing in pain, then slowly turned away.

Amidst the chaos of the Jiang Family’s frantic cries for a doctor, he scooped up Jiang Luoluo and turned to leave.

The Omega in his arms huddled into a tiny ball, his cheek rubbing against Mr. Huo’s shoulder. His voice trembled with tears: “Mr. Huo… it hurts so much…”
