TYMRHBDES Chapter 59

Chapter 59: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Boss x the Sweet and Obedient Little Omega 11

“What’s going on?”

“Why did Young Master Jiang leave?”

“Xiao Yi, what did you two just say?”

The other Omegas turned to look at Lin Zhiyi.

Confusion clouded his face as well. He glanced at Jiang Luoluo, who had disappeared into the crowd. “Luo Luo was curious, so I just mentioned a little about Madam Shang…”

Someone snorted with laughter. “Xiao Yi, you really hit a sore spot there. Madam Shang can’t have children, and I doubt this Young Master Jiang can either…”

The Omega’s face twisted into a malicious grin as she winked at Lin Zhiyi, completely shedding the flattering demeanor she had just shown Jiang Luoluo.

Lin Zhiyi pretended not to understand. “Luo Luo is still young…”

“You really don’t know?”

The Omega lowered his voice. “Young Master Jiang was born with a defective gland. He can’t even be permanently marked, let alone get pregnant and have children…”

A knowing smile spread across the faces of the crowd.

“Exactly. What good is just being pretty?”

“I never would have guessed he was a little cripple!”

“Seeing Master Huo dote on him so much, I thought he might actually climb the social ladder and become Madam Huo…”

“That’s just how alphas are. They can’t control themselves when they see something pretty…”

“Just wait and see. Master Huo can have any Omega he wants. Once he gets bored, he’ll toss him aside sooner or later…”

Malicious words simmered in hushed tones.

As if by speaking them, they could somehow diminish their envy and jealousy.

“Oh, I see… I had no idea… I’m so sorry…”

Lin Zhiyi raised his wine glass with a look of regret, taking a small sip.

The swirling red wine at the bottom of the glass reflected a faint smile.

Jiang Luoluo hurried back, his heart pounding.

Lin Zhiyi’s words had suddenly filled him with fear.

Do all alphas want children?

And Huo Zedong… did Huo Zedong want them too?

Was his affection for Jiang Luoluo just a fleeting fancy, a youthful infatuation?

Would they end up like Mr. and Madam Shang?

“Excuse me, sir, could you please move aside?”

Jiang Luoluo stopped, letting others pass.

Through the dense crowd, he spotted Huo Zedong instantly.

He was dazzling, powerful, surrounded by admiring gazes from many Omegas.

A middle-aged man approached Huo Zedong with his son, a young and beautiful Omega. The Omega, short and petite, gazed at Huo Zedong with shy adoration.

Jiang Luoluo’s heart ached.

His Mr. Huo was so outstanding.

Any Omega would fall for him.

How long could he possibly stand by his side?

As if sensing his thoughts, Huo Zedong nodded coldly at the man and his son before instinctively turning his head toward Jiang Luoluo.

His sharp profile still carried a lingering chill, and he was caught off guard by the sight of the small figure in the crowd.

His Little Omega stood alone, obediently looking at him.

The surging crowd threatened to engulf him.

The small figure stood motionless in the bustling crowd.

It seemed as though the next moment, he would be swept away by the throng.

Even without seeing his expression, Huo Zedong felt certain that if he had arrived a second later, Luo Luo would have burst into tears.

Familiar arms pulled him into a tight embrace. Huo Zedong carried him away from the crowd, into a quiet corridor, before finally stopping to cup his face.

“What’s wrong, my Luo Luo?”

The Little Omega, his head bowed, looked utterly crestfallen. He simply opened his arms and silently burrowed into Huo Zedong’s embrace.

Huo Zedong held him close, his large hand gently patting his back. “What happened? Weren’t you supposed to be meeting friends?”

Huo Zedong’s hand paused. “Did someone bully our baby?”

“Who would dare? Your husband will go and make them pay.”

The Little Omega shook his head, his soft voice thick with tears. “No one… no one bullied Luo Luo…”

The small face pressed tightly against Huo Zedong’s chest, the dampness of his tears seeping through his shirt. His soft, dependent voice whispered, “Huo Zedong, Luo Luo really likes you…”

Huo Zedong stroked his hair. “I know.”

But the Little Omega seemed unable to hold back any longer, sobbing softly as he repeated, “Luo Luo really, really likes you…”

“Can’t you… like me a little more?”

The soft voice, tinged with grievance, seemed to squeeze out each word.

Huo Zedong cupped his face, forcing him to meet his gaze.

“Baby, your husband loves you too.”

“Very, very, very much.”

“And every day, I love you a little more than the day before.”

The Little Omega blinked, and tears streamed down his cheeks like a string of pearls, twisting Huo Zedong’s heart with pain.

His soft, milky voice, thick with sobs, asked, “Really?”

Huo Zedong cradled his face, wiping away the tears. “Really,” he said earnestly.

Tears clinging to his eyelashes trembled. The Little Omega, his eyes glistening, burrowed into Huo Zedong’s embrace, his small voice trailing off in a series of questions:

“Only me? Do you like me the most? Won’t you like someone else?”

The alpha, usually radiating an icy aura, stood in the hallway, gently and carefully soothing the person in his arms:

“Only you.”

“You’re my favorite.”

“Luo Luo is my only treasure. Your husband won’t like anyone else.”

The Little Omega sobbed for a long time before finally lifting his head, his eyes still red and swollen. He looked at Huo Zedong with a timid expression, as if about to reveal a monumental secret:

“Even if we can never have our own little baby, will Mr. Huo still like me?”

A string in Huo Zedong’s heart twanged. He gently stroked his Little Omega’s face, finally understanding what his little omega was afraid of.

His long fingers brushed against the omega’s cheek, a gesture both soothing and indulgent.

“Yes, Luo Luo is the only baby Daddy needs.”

“Daddy only needs you.”

The person looking up at him still had moist eyes, his mouth puckered, his red-rimmed eyes brimming with grievance.

Suddenly, his Little Omega tiptoed up and lightly kissed his lips.

The soft, obedient kiss was utterly disarming, like a kitten offering its heart to be seen.

Tears welled in his eyes as he looked up at Huo Zedong, his voice trembling with a mournful plea:

“Baby will be very good…”

After speaking, he tilted his head and kissed the man’s lips again.

“I just wish Mr. Huo could like me a little longer…”

A wave of sourness washed over Huo Zedong’s heart. He wrapped his arms around the person in his embrace, soothingly stroking his head.

“Mr. Huo understands…”

When the auction ended, Jiang Luoluo was brimming with satisfaction.

After spending two more days at the winery, Jiang Luoluo finally returned home with Huo Zedong.

The winery sent the wine in a special delivery vehicle, and the butler carefully instructed the servants to place the bottles in the wine cabinet.

It wasn’t because the wine was particularly expensive.

The most valuable bottles Young Master Jiang had purchased were two bottles of 1945 Romanée-Conti and a bottle of 1992 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, each worth no more than 4 million yuan.

The Huo family was vast and wealthy, and their wine cabinet was filled with priceless, top-tier wines, including exclusive royal reserves that couldn’t even be bought.

Yet because Young Master Huo doted on Young Master Jiang, even the wine he bought held a special status, displayed prominently in the most conspicuous spot.

These treasured wines had to be reluctantly removed from the cabinet and relocated elsewhere.

After spending several days playing outside with Jiang Luoluo, Huo Zedong had business to attend to. He dropped Jiang Luoluo off at home, kissed his forehead, and left.

Jiang Luoluo sat on the sofa, carefully selecting from the array of wine glasses before him.

Lin Zhiyi was in a separate car, arriving slightly later than they did.

“Luo Luo~”

Lin Zhiyi approached carrying a basket of grapes, which he offered to Jiang Luoluo with a smile. “I picked these myself at the vineyard. They’re fresh, just for you~”

Jiang Luoluo accepted the gift, saying “Thank you,” but immediately noticed the scratch on Lin Zhiyi’s hand. “Xiao Yi, you’re hurt!”

Lin Zhiyi quickly retracted his hand, but Jiang Luoluo grabbed his wrist, frowning at the long scratch on his hand.

Omegas were generally raised delicately, and Xiao Yi, who had been pampered by his family, had never suffered any hardship.

His parents would be heartbroken if they knew.

Lin Zhiyi spoke softly, “I accidentally scratched it on a dry grape vine. I didn’t notice.”

“The vineyard manager said that section had the sweetest grapes…”

“Luo Luo, I’m so sorry… I didn’t mean to say those things that day… I didn’t know about your condition…”

“I picked all these grapes myself. This is my apology, Luo Luo. Please don’t be angry with me, okay?”

Jiang Luoluo called for a servant to bring disinfectant. His voice was soft and gentle. “Xiao Yi, I’m not angry with you. You didn’t know about my condition.”

After disinfecting Lin Zhiyi’s wound with a cotton swab and applying a cartoon-themed bandage, Jiang Luoluo smiled sweetly. “All done!”

Lin Zhiyi asked, “Does Mr. Huo know? Doesn’t he mind?”

Jiang Luoluo nodded, his voice bright. “My husband said he doesn’t need a baby. I’m his only baby.”

“Mr. Huo is so good to you! All those Omegas are envious of you. So many people are asking about you,” Lin Zhiyi marveled.

Jiang Luoluo tilted his head curiously. “What are they asking about me for?”

“Probably out of envy,” Lin Zhiyi speculated. “They envy that you’ve stayed by Mr. Huo’s side. Before you, countless people dreamed of becoming Madam Huo.”

“I heard some people have even undergone cosmetic surgery and styling to look like you. I guess they still haven’t given up…”

“But none of them are as pretty as you. Even if they tried to imitate Mr. Huo, he wouldn’t like them,” Lin Zhiyi hinted.

Jiang Luoluo, oblivious to his implication, laughed carefree, his eyes sparkling. “Mm~ Husband said he only likes me~”

“But these grapes are so perfectly round!”

Refusing the maid’s help, Jiang Luoluo lifted the basket. “Xiao Yi, wait for me! I’ll wash the grapes and make a hand-mashed grape snow mountain!”

With that, he skipped toward the kitchen, the small basket swinging in his hand.

Lin Zhiyi sat on the sofa, watching Jiang Luoluo’s retreating figure. The smile on his face slowly faded.

This Jiang Luoluo was truly strange. He was nothing like the other Omegas he knew—all cunning and full of schemes.

He had hinted so clearly, yet Jiang Luoluo remained so carefree and happy. Didn’t he understand?

Did he need to spell it out even more plainly?

Hasty footsteps echoed from the living room. Lin Zhiyi looked up—

“I won’t ask you to hand-mash grape snow mountains… but how about hand-mashing that Ko-fi button?” 😌
