TYMRHBDES Chapter 61

Chapter 61: The Gloomy and Obsessive Alpha Boss x Sweet and Obedient Little Omega 13

The man in the mirror swallowed, his hand on the other’s waist tightening slowly.

“Did you drink tonight, baby?”

The small head on his shoulder shook, a sweet voice replying, “Baby only had a tiny bit~”

The little omega lifted his head, his fair fingers gesturing a two-centimeter height. “Just this tiny bit~”

“Did you drink it with dinner?” Huo Zedong stroked his head, his palm sinking into the soft, fluffy hair.

The little omega shook his head. “No, I didn’t drink with dinner~”

“…I drank it after we got back to the bedroom.”

“Is our baby feeling down?” Huo Zedong asked.

The little omega shook his head again. His husband treated him so well; he didn’t want to worry him. Besides, it was his own problem. He was the one feeling insecure.

The little omega pressed his soft cheek against Huo Zedong’s face, his voice barely a whisper. “When you’re not here, I miss you…”

Because his pheromones smelled like strong liquor, Huo Zedong imagined his beloved curled up alone on the bedroom sofa, gently sipping a glass of wine while thinking of him. Or perhaps he was sitting on the windowsill, holding his glass, lost in thoughts of Huo Zedong.

Was he using the scent to keep his beloved company in his absence?

A tiny kitten’s paw seemed to scratch at Huo Zedong’s heart.

He kissed Jiang Luo Luo’s cheek. “Your husband knows, darling. I’ll come home earlier from now on.”

Tears, still wet, brushed against Huo Zedong’s lips. The little Omega’s voice was low, like a kitten afraid of being abandoned:

“Am I being naughty, husband?”

“No, baby. You’re the best.”

Huo Zedong cupped Jiang Luo Luo’s face, kissing his tear-reddened nose again and again.

“Our Luo Luo is the most well-behaved little darling I’ve ever met.”

Sitting on the bathroom counter, the little Omega’s eyes were red-rimmed. He reached out his arms to hug Huo Zedong’s neck, wanting to be held.

Perhaps embarrassed by his frequent tears, he turned his head away, avoiding Huo Zedong’s gaze. His voice was soft and sweet: “I want a bathie~”

Huo Zedong’s heart melted completely. He scooped Jiang Luo Luo up and carried him toward the bathtub. “Let’s go, darling. Your husband will give you a bathie~”

After tossing and turning all night without proper rest, Jiang Luoluo tried to avoid Huo Zedong’s kisses when he woke up in the morning. He burrowed completely under the covers.

But Huo Zedong wasn’t about to let him escape. He pulled Jiang Luoluo out from under the covers and pressed him back into his arms.

The sleepy little omega whimpered weakly, his protests completely ineffective, like a kitten being kneaded.

Half-asleep, he was taken advantage of in every way imaginable. Then he heard Huo Zedong whisper in his ear, asking if he wanted to accompany his husband to work.

Jiang Luoluo rubbed his eyes sleepily and obediently let Huo Zedong dress him. “Baby wants to go~”

This feeling of being completely relied upon warmed Huo Zedong’s heart. After helping the sleepy little omega wash up, he carried him downstairs.

Lin Zhiyi seemed to have been waiting. When they appeared at the top of the stairs, he greeted them politely. “Mr. Huo, is Luo Luo ill?”

“No.”

Huo Zedong held the little omega, who was curled up in his arms, trying to catch up on sleep, his voice cold and distant. “He won’t be having breakfast at home today.”

Huo Zedong’s gaze drifted over Lin Zhiyi.

He couldn’t help but wonder why his precious Luo Luo had cried twice recently, and both times seemed to be connected to Lin Zhiyi.

The first time was at the banquet, when Lin Zhiyi had taken him away. The second was last night, when Huo Zedong hadn’t come home, and Luo Luo had eaten dinner alone with Lin Zhiyi.

Standing at the top of the stairs, Lin Zhiyi’s face showed nothing but concern. He looked like a textbook example of a submissive, well-bred Omega. And given his frail appearance, he didn’t seem capable of bullying Luo Luo.

Huo Zedong turned away, adjusting his grip on the person in his arms.

Don’t let Luo Luo’s innocent appearance fool you. Those little teeth were sharp as hell. Last night, he’d left two perfect bite marks on Huo Zedong’s shoulder. If it came to a fight, it would be Luo Luo who would be doing the bullying.

Huo Zedong said nothing more, carrying Jiang Luoluo out the door.

He wasn’t particularly busy today. He had a document to sign in the morning and a few meetings with business leaders. It was the perfect opportunity to spend time with his precious Luo Luo.

Jiang Luoluo woke up in the car. As the vehicle entered a grand, imposing building, he looked out the window and asked, “Hubby~ Is this where you work?”

The car came to a smooth stop. Huo Zedong grunted in acknowledgment and led Jiang Luoluo inside by the hand.

Security in this building was extremely strict. Though there were quite a few people inside, mostly Alphas and Betas in well-tailored suits, they all bowed respectfully to Huo Zedong.

Even their curious glances were restrained. No one dared to openly stare at the little Omega being led in with such protective care.

Even the secretary who came in to pour tea treated Jiang Luoluo with unusual deference.

The solemn atmosphere made Jiang Luoluo a little nervous.

He knew Huo Zedong held a high position, but he didn’t know exactly how high. Since arriving in this world, no one had ever explicitly told Jiang Luoluo what Huo Zedong did.

But to casually hand over the mining rights to an entire mine…

Jiang Luoluo watched the tea leaves swirling in his cup and thought silently:

*My husband is even more impressive than I realized!*

“He doesn’t drink this.”

Huo Zedong pushed the teacup aside with a cold expression.

The secretary responded instantly, “Mr. Huo, breakfast and after-meal drinks and desserts are ready and can be brought in at any time.”

In just a few minutes, the meeting room table was laden with a dazzling array of breakfast dishes, each neatly packaged in its own box.

Huo Zedong had a habit of waking up early to exercise and had already eaten breakfast. Jiang Luoluo, on the other hand, loved to sleep in, burrowing under the covers and often skipping breakfast altogether.

The well-behaved omega, diligently eating a crab roe bun, looked up and met his gaze. His watery eyes curved into crescents, his cheeks puffed out, before he lowered his head again to sip his porridge.

Even his eating habits were utterly adorable.

Through the transparent glass, Huo Zedong watched the omega nearby, a smile unconsciously spreading across his face.

After breakfast, Huo Zedong had several documents to sign. Jiang Luoluo didn’t disturb him, instead settling on the sofa with a bag of potato chips, engrossed in a drama.

A knock sounded at the office door, followed by it opening. “Brother Huo!”

Huo Zedong looked up. “Zheng Yang, what brings you here?”

The man, in his early thirties, grinned freely, his words laced with familiarity. “Just missing you, thought I’d drop by for a visit!”

As he spoke, his eyes casually glanced toward the meeting room, and his teasing words abruptly stopped.

Through a layer of transparent glass, a small Omega sat on a deep black sofa. He wore a loose white shirt, his light golden hair draped over his forehead, framing his delicate face.

His clear, black-and-white eyes sparkled with a faint smile that melted hearts. His fingertips held a thin potato chip, which he brought to his crimson lips.

Even the most ordinary action, performed by him, irresistibly drew everyone’s gaze.

His docile and delicate appearance resembled a fragile porcelain doll, clearly raised in pampered luxury. His beauty was so captivating that one couldn’t help but hold their breath upon first glance.

Huo Zedong rapped impatiently on the table. Zheng Yang, jolted from his reverie, snapped back to reality and tore his gaze away from Jiang Luoluo.

He pointed excitedly in Jiang Luoluo’s direction. “Who’s this Omega? How old is he? Is he engaged yet?”

Huo Zedong frowned.

Zheng Yang quickly swore, “I swear! I’m not messing around this time. I’m serious!”

As he spoke, he placed a hand over his chest, his expression earnest. “Brother, I’m in love!!!”

Huo Zedong set down his pen, his slender fingers resting on the table. His obsidian pupils fixed Zheng Yang with a chilling gaze that sent a shiver down his spine.

His thin lips curled into an impersonal, icy smile. “Have you fallen in love?”

Zheng Yang didn’t understand Huo Zedong’s meaning. He couldn’t help but glance at the pretty omega across the room. “Brother Huo, introduce us quickly!”

Huo Zedong’s displeasure deepened as he watched Zheng Yang’s gaze cling to Jiang Luoluo.

Something that belonged to him was being coveted by another.

A new message popped up on his phone, sent by Huo Zedong.

Jiang Luoluo set down his potato chips and immediately went outside to answer it.

As the omega approached the reception room, Zheng Yang’s eyes burned with a feverish intensity. He watched the omega’s every move.

He’s at the door!

He’s opening it!

He’s taking a step out!

His heart pounding in his chest, Zheng Yang plastered his signature handsome smile—the one that always worked on omegas—on his face. Before he could even speak, he caught a whiff of strong liquor.

The closer the omega came, the stronger the scent of liquor grew.

It was even stronger than the scent on Huo Zedong, as if the omega had been pickled in it.

Zheng Yang’s smile froze on his face. His trembling finger pointed at the omega.

“Huo Zedong, why does he smell like you all over???”

“You beast! What have you done?!”

The little beauty looked at him with confusion, or perhaps glared at him with those watery eyes.

In a soft, coquettish tone, he called out, “Husband~”

Then Huo Zedong pulled him into his arms.

Zheng Yang clutched his chest, speechless.

He was both charmed and heartbroken by the little beauty.

His lips trembled, and just as he was about to speak, he saw Huo Zedong lower his head and kiss the little beauty’s forehead.

His voice was thick with possessiveness. “My wife. Do you know her now?”

Zheng Yang stammered, “When did you get engaged? You—”

Before he could finish, Huo Zedong cut him off.

“Even if I die, you won’t get her. Shut up.”

Zheng Yang sighed, his face a mixture of pity and regret. “Alright.”

As he spoke, he glanced at his ideal Omega, his expression conveying the bitter regret of “if only we had met before she was married.”

But Huo Zedong’s woman? Unless he himself let her go, who would dare try to steal her from him?

Huo Zedong took the little Omega’s hand and led him to sit in his own chair. “Zheng Yang, what exactly did you come here for today?”

Zheng Yang snapped back to reality, though he still seemed a little deflated. “Oh, right. I have something important to discuss. I wanted to introduce you to someone.”

Zheng Yang turned and called out to the office door, “Come in!”

Jiang Luoluo looked up curiously.

The door opened, revealing a young man in a black suit.

A surge of electricity coursed through his mind as the system’s excited voice rang out: [It’s him!]
