TYMRHBDES Chapter 62

In just a moment, the assistant pushed open the door and led Ye Hao away.

Jiang Luoluo peeked out from behind the door to catch one last glimpse of Ye Hao.

*So this is the Alpha Xiao Yi likes? He does look handsome and refined, enough to fool anyone.*

The usually silent System suddenly broke its usual composure, becoming as excited as a sycophant.

“Just him? He’s nowhere near as good as our villainous boss! Our villainous boss is the real epitome of talent, a true dragon among men, the chosen one, you know?!”

Jiang Luoluo, slightly puzzled, whispered to the System, “Did you get another virus?”

The System fell silent for a moment, then sighed wistfully, “You wouldn’t understand…”

Jiang Luoluo: “…”

Huo Zedong turned to Zheng Yang. “Why are you still here?”

Zheng Yang spread his hands. “You’re already kicking me out, Brother Huo?”

Facing Huo Zedong’s guarded expression, Zheng Yang waved his hand. “Alright, alright, I’m going, I’m going!”

As he spoke, he turned to the small Omega sitting on the chair and greeted him, “Sister-in-law, I’m Zheng Yang, Brother Huo’s childhood friend!”

He then handed over a business card. “If you ever need any help in the future, feel free to contact me.”

Unfortunately, the business card was intercepted halfway. Huo Zedong tossed it into the trash can. “He’s just looking for trouble.”

Zheng Yang shrugged. “Petty.”

As he spoke, he waved at the delicate little omega in the chair. “Don’t forget me, sister-in-law! Goodbye!”

After Zheng Yang left, Huo Zedong leaned against his desk, gazing down at his omega.

The petite omega sat in the oversized, deep gray chair, making him look even smaller.

His slender chin was tilted up, his wet eyes fixed on Huo Zedong, his expression obedient beyond belief.

Huo Zedong reached out to pinch his cheek. His pouty, goldfish-like lips were moist, as if waiting for a kiss.

But at that moment, Huo Zedong remained unmoved. His voice was cold. “Are you very interested in that man, darling?”

Jiang Luoluo: “Who?”

Huo Zedong smiled thinly. “Who do you think? You were practically glued to him, your eyes were practically growing onto him.”

Sensing the danger in Huo Zedong’s tone, Jiang Luoluo ducked his head. “No, no… I’m not at all interested in Ye Hao!”

Huo Zedong frowned, his deep voice laced with a hint of gritted teeth. “How do you know his name is Ye Hao?”

“Zheng Yang mentioned it only once, and I didn’t remember. But you did?”

Jiang Luoluo: “…”

The small omega in the chair blinked, his mouth still shaped like a goldfish from being pinched. His words came out muffled: “Husband… let me explain…”

“Mmm—”

The explanation was swallowed by the other’s mouth.

The petite omega was pinned against the chair, his back arching until it touched the backrest.

His shirt crumpled as the alpha’s hand slipped inside, gripping his slender waist.

A thin blush spread across the small omega’s face.

Struggling proved futile against the alpha’s hold. Instead, the stark contrast between the overwhelming darkness and solemn atmosphere of the office only intensified his shame.

Fortunately, a few knocks at the door came to his rescue.

The small omega’s face flushed crimson, his eyes veiled with a misty film of tears.

He looked both beautiful and fragile, like a tiny goldfinch with its throat pinched, a cruel kind of beauty.

Huo Zedong’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He pressed the omega’s head against his chest, completely obscuring the breathtakingly beautiful face.

Afraid of being seen even for a moment, Jiang Luoluo finally called out, “Come in.”

The assistant pushed open the door and, seeing the Alpha with his back turned, quickly lowered his head. After briefly explaining the arrangements for Ye Hao, he tactfully retreated.

Silence returned to the room.

Huo Zedong pinched the little Omega’s nape. “Did you hear that? What do you think? Do you want to go see this Ye Hao?”

His voice, thick and sour, seemed squeezed from his throat. “Should your husband accompany you?”

Jiang Luoluo shrank his head. “I don’t want to see him…”

A cold laugh echoed through the air.

Huo Zedong continued, “Why not? Weren’t you watching him intently just now?”

“He’s so young, fresh out of college. You two would have so much in common…”

“Unlike me, a man in his thirties, just an old bull trying to eat young grass.”

The person in his arms shook his head in protest, slender arms wrapping around Huo Zedong’s waist. His voice was soft and sweet. “My husband isn’t old at all~”

“My husband is the best husband in the world~”

The little Omega looked up. “Luo Luo isn’t interested in him~”

He spoke honestly. “The first time I saw him, I just knew he wasn’t a good person. I hate him…”

The large hand left his nape, instead stroking his head. Huo Zedong’s eyes darkened.

“Baby, I hope you always hate him.”

“How beautiful…”

As he spoke, he lifted the bouquet to his nose and inhaled deeply.

“Thank you, Senior Ye Hao.”

Ye Hao lowered his gaze, looking at the gentle and graceful Omega before him, a smug satisfaction swelling within him.

From the moment he saved Zheng Yang, he had been meticulously executing his plan to climb into the upper echelons of society.

Yet, even with the support of a benefactor, his own abilities would have required decades of relentless struggle to truly penetrate this exclusive circle.

That was until he met Lin Zhiyi.

The sole heir of Shanghai’s Lin Family, with no other bloodline to carry on the family legacy. More crucially, Lin Zhiyi was an Omega, and a chronically ill one at that.

Being an Omega meant he would eventually return to his family to marry and raise children, leaving the Lin Family’s vast fortune to fall into the hands of his husband.

Being chronically ill meant his lifespan was likely limited. Omegas were inherently fragile, and if he were to repeatedly bear children, draining his body, any future mishap would seem perfectly natural.

And when that day came, the entire Lin Family fortune would be his…

Gazing at Lin Zhiyi’s shyly blushing face, Ye Hao couldn’t help but feel a surge of triumph.

Everything was unfolding precisely as he had planned.

By marrying Lin Zhiyi, he could shave off at least two decades of struggle!

When the time comes, I’ll command the wind and rain—what can’t I get my hands on then?

The more triumphant he felt inside, the more composed his expression became. “Xiao Yi, stay with me. I swear on my life I’ll cherish and love you forever, I’ll hold you in the palm of my hand for all eternity…”

Just a few more steps.

Once Lin Zhiyi agreed, he’d quickly give him a permanent mark. Ideally, he’d get him pregnant first…

Then the Lin Family wouldn’t dare refuse!

Ye Hao’s heart pounded with excitement as he gazed at the slender omega.

Lin Zhiyi sneered inwardly.

The same old routine.

A facade of tender devotion, as if he were hopelessly in love.

He must have been blinded by lard in his past life to have agreed to this.

Soon after they established their relationship, Ye Hao took him out to play. Coincidentally, his heat cycle arrived, and this shameless man gave him a permanent mark.

An omega marked by an alpha becomes utterly dependent on their partner. Ye Hao exploited this, luring him into cohabitation and getting him pregnant…

Lin Zhiyi lowered his gaze, concealing his disgust and hatred. His voice, soft and gentle, barely above a whisper, replied, “Yes…”

This time, it was his turn for revenge.

Ye Hao was on the verge of ecstatic joy, but he managed to restrain himself.

He took Lin Zhiyi’s hand in his. The Omega’s hands were soft and smooth, pampered to perfection. Holding them in his palm, Ye Hao couldn’t help but feel his heart race.

He lowered his head to kiss Lin Zhiyi, but the Omega dodged away, his voice shy. “Senior, there are too many people here…”

Rejected, Ye Hao gave a wicked smile. “Then next time we meet, Xiao Yi won’t be able to refuse me.”

Lin Zhiyi nodded, his stomach churning with nausea. “Alright.”

The two of them strolled through the streets like an ordinary young couple until dusk, when Ye Hao finally saw Lin Zhiyi at home.

Back in the villa, Lin Zhiyi stared at the hand Ye Hao had held, repulsed. He wanted nothing more than to scrub it clean immediately.

He took a deep breath and forced himself to resist.

After all, there were more important matters to attend to now.

Finding Jiang Luoluo watering the flowers in the garden, Lin Zhiyi silently muted his phone, dialed Ye Hao’s number, and slipped it into his pocket.

“Luo Luo~”

Jiang Luoluo turned around, sweat glistening on his forehead, his eyes sparkling. “Xiao Yi~”

“Look what I brought back for you~” Lin Zhiyi held up a box of desserts like a treasure.

Jiang Luoluo feigned surprise, letting out a “Wow!” and setting down his water bottle. “This nine-grid dessert isn’t even in the city center! And you have to queue for it! How did you manage to buy it?”

Jiang Luoluo helped Lin Zhiyi sit down. “Xiao Yi, you’re not in good health. Don’t queue anymore. It takes so long, it’s too tiring…”

Lin Zhiyi smiled at him. “It’s okay, Luo Luo. You like it, right?”

After saying this, he suddenly blushed and smiled shyly at Jiang Luoluo. “Luo Luo, I have a secret to tell you, but don’t tell anyone else…”

Jiang Luoluo looked at him curiously.

Lin Zhiyi adjusted the direction of the phone’s earpiece in his pocket and said shyly, “I’m in love~”

Jiang Luoluo immediately felt uneasy. “Who is it?”

P.S.- I saw some of you complaining about the wrong pronouns in the early chapters. I am extremely sorry for that. Normally, I would read the chap once before posting. But considering the fact, all of the mistakes are at the last 2 paragraphs only, I can understand myself. Please forgive me once again. I will try my best not to make the same mistake happen again. Because I know how infuriating it is when the flow is broken and have to spend a few extra brain cells to correct that in mind! 🙏
