The three of them enjoyed midnight snacks in the visitors’ area of the building. They didn’t need to clean up afterward. The grateful security guard offered to clean up and urged them to go home right away.

The large balcony was filled with water, mostly purified and bottled in barrels. The drinks were stacked in two or three layers.

 

The living room contained a set of fabric sofas, two yoga mats, a small table, and two stools. Near the dining area, there was a large refrigerator filled with fresh meat.

 

The rest of the space was filled with batteries, lighting equipment, self-defense gear, and numerous unopened express parcels.

 

In addition to pots, pans, a stove, and other kitchen and balcony items, there were gas cylinders on the floor and cabinets filled with spices and sauces—even more than a supermarket display.

 

The small study was filled with medical supplies and protective gear, such as medicine, masks, alcohol, kitchen towels, large bags of salt and sugar, and sealed bags of seeds.

 

The guest room was used to store food staples and packaged snacks, including meat, vegetarian options, and raw, cooked, and semi-cooked foods. There were even boxes of powdered milk—amazing!

 

The two-meter-long bed in the bedroom was piled high with blankets, and the wardrobe and other spaces were filled with clothing, including shoes, socks, hats, scarves, and protective gear. Just looking at it all was enough to make one sweat.

 

Even the bathroom was stocked with toiletries and skincare products.

 

The supplies were abundant and neatly stacked, leaving room for more. However, not all the rooms were filled, so they could continue shopping.

 

Judging by Jiang Nian’s taste, if they filled all of it without considering shelf life, these supplies could last two or three years without the world knowing.

 

That was an exaggeration. Cheng Jing’s first reaction was to worry about the building’s ability to bear the weight. But after careful observation, he felt relieved upon finding nothing wrong.
