TYMRHBDES Chapter 69

Chapter 69: The Gloomy, Obsessive Alpha Boss x the Obedient, Sweet Omega 21

The crowd had been dispersed. As Jiang Luoluo passed the room’s doorway, he couldn’t help but glance inside.

His delicate, pretty face instantly turned pale, his moist pupils widening into perfect circles.

This time, Huo Zedong didn’t reach out to cover his eyes.

He saw everything clearly:

Lin Zhiyi was cradled in his mother’s arms, his hair disheveled, his gaze vacant.

A blanket covered his body, but the exposed part of his neck bore clear tooth marks and bruised finger marks.

His body was convulsing uncontrollably.

Meanwhile, Ye Hao, the perpetrator, appeared relatively composed, his belt dangling loosely, his breathing erratic.

A faint metallic scent of blood hung in the air.

How terrifying.

As if struck by an electric shock, Jiang Luoluo instantly snapped his head back, burying himself deeper in Huo Zedong’s embrace.

His fear was palpable, like a fledgling seeking shelter.

Huo Zedong pulled him closer.

Slowly, he reached out and covered Jiang Luoluo’s eyes. “Don’t be afraid,” he murmured.

Yet on his sharp-featured profile, a hint of mockery played at the corners of his lips as he glanced at the scene inside the room.

As if fearing his eyes would be sullied, he quickly averted his gaze.

The Little Omega in his arms kept shrinking closer to him, his voice trembling as he called out, “Husband…”

Huo Zedong responded with a low murmur.

The Little Omega raised his head, his eyes shimmering with tears. “If you hadn’t shown up then, would I be the one in that room now?”

Of course, it wouldn’t have been his baby.

He had long since sent people to keep Lin Zhiyi and Ye Hao under surveillance.

Huo Zedong didn’t directly answer the question. Instead, he stroked the back of the Little Omega’s neck, as if kneading a Kitten. “Baby is scared?”

The Little Omega nodded quickly, a mist of tears clouding his eyes. “I’m scared…”

He hadn’t realized it was a trap at the time.

If he had actually come, and the other party had deliberately set him up, how could he have escaped?

The people in that room would become him.

The aggressive demeanor of Lin Zhiyi’s mother, the crowd gathered outside, and Lin Zhiyi himself, battered and abused, flashed before Jiang Luoluo’s eyes, his eyes reddening.

*If it really was him…*

Madam Huo already disliked him. With such a scandal, even without her interference, he wouldn’t have the face to stay by Huo Zedong’s side…

He would never have another chance to be with Huo Zedong in this lifetime.

And Huo Zedong… would slowly become someone else’s husband…

He would never again coax him, indulge him, or stay by his side…

Watching the little omega’s face, etched with lingering fear, Huo Zedong felt a heavy blow to his heart.

He suppressed his heartache, resisting the urge to touch the omega’s tear-stained cheeks, and asked gently, “Didn’t Husband tell you not to meddle in other people’s affairs?”

The little omega nodded miserably.

“You were so concerned about Lin Zhiyi before. Did you consider him a friend because he was kind to you?”

The Little Omega nodded without hesitation.

“Does he really consider you a friend?”

Huo Zedong steadied the boy’s slender shoulders. “Just look at this evening’s banquet. He deliberately lured you here while I was away. Ye Hao was drugged too. Do you know what would have happened if you’d actually gone inside?”

Though Huo Zedong wasn’t scolding him, Jiang Luoluo couldn’t help but want to cry.

His lips trembled, and large tears rolled down his cheeks from his eyelashes.

The Little Omega choked out a nod. “I know…”

Huo Zedong bent down, his tall figure enveloping the boy.

His voice was soft, as if afraid of startling him, coaxing him gently. “Do you still want friends like that in the future?”

The Little Omega could no longer hold back and threw himself into Huo Zedong’s arms. His voice, thick with tears, muffled against his chest:

“Waaah, no… never again…”

“Baby, listen to your Husband…”

“Waaah, baby knows he was wrong…”

“I don’t want any more friends…”

“Baby only wants Husband…”

Huo Zedong lowered his gaze, his large hand patting the slender back of the person in his arms. A faint smile played on his lips as he kissed the top of Bao Bei’s head.

His voice, filled with satisfied contentment, was soft and gentle. “Good boy.”

The banquet ended abruptly. The melodious singing ceased, and the guests surged toward the hall’s entrance.

Because of the close relationship between the two families, Madam Huo and Mr.Huo remained in the villa.

Mr.Lin looked twenty years older. He covered his head with his hands, his voice filled with regret.

“I should have realized it long ago… Xiao Yi had already gone missing at the time…”

“I shouldn’t have let them open the door…”

“No Omega, regardless of family, should be seen like that…”

“It’s my fault. I didn’t handle this properly.”

“But this shouldn’t punish my child!”

Madam Lin, clutching Lin Zhiyi tightly, glared resentfully. “What good does it do to say all this now?”

Her venomous eyes fixed on the disheveled Alpha, as if she wanted to tear him apart.

“Who are you? I’ve never seen you before. Who let you in?”

Ye Hao raised his hand to wipe away the blood Mr.Lin had drawn from his lip.

“Aunt and Uncle, I’m Xiao Yi’s boyfriend. We’ve been in love for a long time. Xiao Yi brought me here to introduce me to you both.”

“Impossible! You’re lying!!” Madam Lin’s voice was shrill.

“A mother knows her child best. Just a few days ago, Xiao Yi was still saying she wanted to marry Huo Zedong. How could she possibly have a boyfriend like this—a penniless nobody?”

Mr.Lin’s expression was equally hostile as he glared at Ye Hao.

Ye Hao looked at Lin Zhiyi, covered by the blanket, a strange light flickering in his eyes. “Xiao Yi, your parents don’t believe me. Why don’t you tell them yourself?”

His tone was subtly threatening. Lin Zhiyi’s body stiffened, his mind replaying Ye Hao’s words from just before the door had been kicked open.

“Lin Zhiyi, don’t think I don’t know what you’re plotting.”

“If you dare send me to prison, the video of us will be all over the internet.”

“You want my life? I’ll make sure you’re ruined too. Neither of us will come out of this unscathed!”

Lin Zhiyi squeezed his eyes shut, suppressing the hatred burning in his heart.

“Mom, Dad, Senior Ye is my boyfriend. He’s a wonderful person, and we truly love each other…”

At this point, he had no choice but to say this.

He had to pacify Ye Hao first. Later, he would obtain the surveillance footage and avenge himself for today’s humiliation…

He hadn’t lost yet!

He still had a chance!

Someone knocked on the door. A maid, trembling with fear, handed Mr.Lin a piece of paper. “Sir…”

Mr.Huo, standing nearby, glanced at the bold black characters on the paper. His face instantly turned ashen.

Back home, Jiang Luoluo deleted all of Lin Zhiyi’s contact information and threw away everything Lin Zhiyi had given him.

Like a startled rabbit, he buried his tear-reddened eyes in Huo Zedong’s embrace. It was as if he had been betrayed so deeply that he had lost all trust in the world.

He eyed the servants in the villa warily, his fingers clutching Huo Zedong’s shirt hem tightly as he leaned against him for comfort.

When it was time to bathe, he insisted on being led into the bathroom by Huo Zedong. At bedtime, he was equally obedient.

No matter what Huo Zedong did, he obediently wrapped his arms around his neck, closed his eyes, tilted his head back, and waited for a kiss.

Once his goal was achieved, he buried his face in Huo Zedong’s chest and softly called out, “Husband…”

The world was too terrifying. He didn’t trust anyone anymore—except his husband.

The little omega, still shaken by the events at the banquet, was exceptionally compliant today. He was as fragile as a rabbit caught in a trap, completely at Huo Zedong’s mercy.

The pheromones in the bedroom grew increasingly potent.

Suddenly, the little omega nudged Huo Zedong’s arm, one hand clutching his stomach, tears welling in his eyes. He seemed to want to say something but was afraid of upsetting him.

“What’s wrong, baby?”

The little omega looked aggrieved. “My tummy hurts…”

He grabbed Huo Zedong’s hand and pressed it against his stomach, as if afraid the other man wouldn’t believe him. “It really hurts…”

In the past, he had been delicate and often used Huo Zedong’s affection to act spoiled, claiming his stomach hurt whenever he was tired.

But lately, for some unknown reason, his stomach had genuinely started to ache.

The Little Omega pursed his lips, his face etched with grievance.

As expected, lies told often enough become true. He was finally reaping his karmic reward…

Huo Zedong pinched his cheek, then stood up and scooped him into his arms. “Alright, let’s take our baby for a bath.”

Lately, the Little Omega had been constantly exhausted. Halfway through his bath, he would become so drowsy he could barely keep his eyes open.

Huo Zedong carried him out, dried him off, and placed him on the bed. Just as he was about to leave, two soft arms wrapped around his waist, and a gentle voice called out, “Husband…”

It was a sound filled with dependence, as if he feared being abandoned.

Huo Zedong responded with a murmur and held him close, soothing him for a long while until the Little Omega drifted into a deep slumber. Only then did he rise to leave again.

Returning without turning on the lights, Huo Zedong opened the door to see a figure sitting up in the spacious bed, wrapped in blankets like a Little Snowman.

His face still hardened with coldness, Huo Zedong hurried over. “What woke you up?”

Little Snowman reached out his slender arms to hug Huo Zedong’s neck, his soft voice trembling with tears.

“Husband… where did you go?”

“Are you leaving me because baby hasn’t been obedient?”

The person in his arms trembled slightly, delicate and fragile. He seemed to have been terrified a thousand times over, now shivering at the slightest gust of wind or drop of rain, like a kitten.

“Baby has been very obedient…”

A soft sob emerged from the hollow of his neck. The Little Omega shifted, brushing aside the hair at the back of his neck to expose his gland. He was like a vulnerable creature, voluntarily exposing his belly to the claws and fangs of a predator.

“Husband…”

“Husband…”

He pleaded through his tears, “Bite me… mark me…”

The faint fragrance of Freesia lingered around Huo Zedong’s nose.

Whether it was an illusion or not, Huo Zedong felt that Bao Bei’s pheromone scent had become richer and sweeter lately, as if something had subtly changed while he wasn’t paying attention.

But the person in his arms didn’t give him time to ponder. Sobbing, he pressed the back of his neck against Huo Zedong’s lips, calling out sweetly, “Husband…”
