YNRHPCYC Chapter 104

Feelings

The heating in the room was very strong, forming a strong conflict with the cold air brought by Liang Yanbei.

Wen Chan could hardly bear the weight of Liang Yanbei and slowly retreated, bringing him to the inner hall. Fortunately, Liang Yanbei was not really drunk and did not press all the weight on him and followed his footsteps.

His breath fell on Wen Chan’s neck, and soon his neck was stained with dampness.

Liang Yanbei’s hands were cold, and as soon as he put them on Wen Chan’s body, he aroused a layer of goose bumps. He resisted not taking out those hands.

When he walked to the inner hall, Wen Chan wanted to put him on a soft chair, but Liang Yanbei didn’t comply with that. He hugged Wen Chan’s shoulders and refused to let go, his breath hovering in his ears.

“Liang Yanbei, let go quickly.” Wen Chan patted him gently on the back.

Liang Yanbei, who was lying on Wen Chan’s soft shoulders, opened his eyes lazily. His beautiful black eyes were covered with a layer of drunkenness. And the slight drunkenness also made his face lightly red. He tilted his head and licked Wen Chan’s ear with the tip of his tongue.

Feeling the tickling wetness, Wen Chan reflexively dodged to the side, and the heat surged in his ears, “Get up from me quickly!”

Liang Yanbei smiled lazily, “No, I want to always be on Your Highness.”

“Don’t mess around. You are so heavy. I can’t hold you anymore.” Wen Chan was helpless, patted his shoulder, and said gently, “Get up quickly.”

Liang Yanbei then stood up, staring straight at Wen Chan, then pulled his wrist and suddenly sat on the soft chair next to him, pulling him to sit on him.

Then he hugged Wen Chan tightly, prevented him from getting up, and gently bit Wen Chan’s ear.

“Ah!” Ears were originally sensitive places to him. Although Liang Yanbei didn’t bite hard, his fangs were still sharp. Wen Chan whispered, “Why are you biting me?”

“This is to punish Your Highness.” Liang Yanbei hugged him tightly, their bodies seamlessly pressed together, drawing all the warmth from his body.

Liang Yanbei licked his earlobe, “Everyone in the capital knows that I wholeheartedly love Your Highness. Then why does Your Highness still say those kinds of words to hurt my heart?”

Wen Chan shrank his neck. Liang Yanbei’s voice was very close, and his hot breath almost burnt him. When he heard this, his heart suddenly softened, and he whispered, “What I said today was for a reason. If I really don’t care about you and the Liang family and agreed with my father, wouldn’t it be too selfish?”

“What is selfish?” Liang Yanbei looked down at him, “Your Highness has been considering this and that and never thought about me. You treated me coldly before, and now you are rejecting me. To me, Your Highness is really selfish.”

Listening to his accusations, Wen Chan was a little anxious. Since he saw Liang Yanbei from his previous life, he completely believed in his feelings, but for the moment, he didn’t know how to deal with it.

At the beginning, he thought that no matter what the world said, no matter what others did, he would be with Liang Yanbei in this life, and no one could stop him.

But after calming down, Wen Chan realised that this determination alone was not enough. The Liang Yanbei who loved him to the bone in his previous life was dead. Although Liang Yanbei in this life also had feelings for him, it was hard to say if it was to that extent.

In his previous life, Liang Yanbei lost his mother and brother first, and then Liang Jun also died of illness. Only Liang Shaojing became his direct relative. If he could let go of Liang Shaojing, it was equivalent to letting go of everything.

But in this life, his parents were still alive, and his brother was also safe. If he was not determined to let go of the Liang family, how could Wen Chan make a decision for him without authorisation?

After thinking for a while, Wen Chan sighed. He turned his head to look Liang Yanbei in the eye and said to him, “Liang Yanbei, I want to leave Xi Liang with you and go to a very far place.”

Liang Yanbei was startled, and Wen Chan continued when he saw it.

“In that place, no one knows the Ninth Prince, and no one knows the Young Master of the Liang Family. We will be just two ordinary people. I will no longer be an emperor, and you will no longer be a general. We will become a grain in this mortal coil and blend into the world.”

He asked bluntly, “You said you like me wholeheartedly. Are you willing to abandon the capital and give up everything in the Liang family for me?”

When Liang Yanbei heard his words at first, he was still stunned. It took him a while to digest it before he understood. He put his hand on Wen Chan’s cheek and did not answer the question directly, “You asked me what disease I had, right? I want to tell you now.”

Although he didn’t know what Liang Yanbei was up to, Wen Chan still asked, “What?”

“When I was twelve years old.” Liang Yanbei’s eyes narrowed slightly, and his whole being sank into a trance, as if he had recalled some extremely bad memories, and his whole face became indifferent, “I was caught by an evil faction in Jianghu and locked up in a house deep in the mountains. There were many people in the house guarding me. No matter how many I beat, there would always be someone to fill in until I was exhausted.”

“The leader who captured me was a woman who was a paedophile. She fed me a muscle-softening drug, locked my limbs with iron chains, fixed them to the wall, and took off my clothes to touch me.”

Wen Chan’s heart was suddenly squeezed when he heard it, and he took a deep breath. He never knew that Liang Yanbei had experienced such a thing!

But Liang Yanbei’s tone remained flat, without any ups and downs. “But that woman didn’t know that I was immune to all poisons. So when she took off her clothes and approached me without any defence, I killed someone for the first time, using a sharpened iron horn to cut her entire stomach.”

“She was very fat, and there was so much blood on her body that she almost soaked me through, and her intestines and stomach were all over the floor. She crawled all the way from under my feet to the door, and her blood dyed the entire ground red. She died soon after. When her men saw her dead, most of them fled at that time. I broke free from the chains and killed the rest who had not had time to escape.”

“Later, I was afraid to leave the mountain, so I stayed in the house. The bodies of those people gradually gave off a foul stench. Every time I ate from the storeroom of the house, I would pass by the body of that woman. I didn’t want to experience that disgusting scene again in my life.”

Wen Chan held his hand tightly with heartache, not knowing what to say to comfort him, with anger slowly filling his eyes.

Who on earth was this damn woman who dared to treat young Liang Yanbei like that!

“When my father found me, I had eaten almost all the edible things in the house, and the woman’s body was crawling with worms. My father ordered people to set fire to the house and took me home.” Liang Yanbei continued, “During that period, whenever I saw a woman, I couldn’t help feeling sick and vomiting everything in my stomach. And even my mother was no exception.”

“For a long time, I stayed indoors and didn’t see anyone. There were no women in Liang Mansion where I could see them. It was not until I slowly calmed down that I could go out and see people.”

“My parents tried many ways to make me return to normal, and I also tried to interact with women myself, but it led to many embarrassing incidents. Even over the past seven years, my aversion to women has not been eradicated. It is rooted in my heart.  I even frequented brothels so that I could appear like an ordinary person, like I do now.”

Wen Chan looked at him in surprise. A big knot of his previous life was quietly untied in this way.

It turned out that Liang Yanbei always going in and out of Yu Fu House in his previous life was because of this? In order to prevent others from seeing his mental illness, he forced himself to have contact with women again and again. How much pain did Liang Yanbei hide in his heart?

He felt a sharp pain when he thought about it. He touched his face, and thousands of comforting words merged into one sentence, “You have suffered.”

Liang Yanbei sighed, “I thought the same before, because it was really hard. But after I met you, I don’t think so.”

His eyes were serious, as if he wanted to engrave Wen Chan’s appearance into his heart, “If what I experienced before was just to fall in love with you, then everything in the past was worth it. In the past, I used to hate women and disliked men. I thought I would die alone.”

“But some time before I came to the capital, you appeared in my dream.” Liang Yanbei’s fingers stroked his fingertips, and he said in infatuation, “The first time I saw you in my dream, you stood under a white pear tree and smiled at me.”

He paused, lowered his head, and pointed at his heart, “My heart was beating so fast here; I walked up to you, talked to you, and asked your name and identity. But you completely refused to say it.”

“During that period of time, the thing I looked forward to most every day was going to bed at night because I could always see you in my dreams. I painted you and hung it on the head of the bed. I secretly made up my mind that no matter where you are in this world, I will find you and tell you my feelings.”

Liang Yanbei pulled Wen Chan closer, and his breath moved closer to blend in with his breath. The tips of their noses gently touched each other. He said, “I don’t know if I can give up the capital for you and give up everything in the Liang family. But if one day you really leave here, I think my feet will definitely follow in your footsteps, even if it’s thousands of miles away.”

“My verbal choice is never my real choice.” He took Wen Chan’s hand, placed it on his heart, and said word by word, “It is the one here.”

Wen Chan could clearly feel the steady beating from the palm of his hand. That was Liang Yanbei’s heart and also the place that carried all his life and emotions.

He suddenly remembered the scene he saw through those bird eyes. Liang Yanbei said that he put him in his heart, guarded a piece of pure land for him, and protected him forever.

Wen Chan was moved, and his eyes began to blur. He lowered his head and took the initiative to kiss his lips, but before he could go deeper, Liang Yanbei suddenly turned his head away, refusing for the first time.

He looked surprised.

Liang Yanbei tilted his head, his mouth downturned, “Your Highness’s words today made me very sad. My feelings have been expressed so clearly. Your Highness, don’t you have anything to say?”

It turned out that he was still angry about those words…… Wen Chan held his head with both hands, turned it around, and said with a smile, “Liang Yanbei, listen carefully, I am the ninth prince of Xi Liang. As long as I want, I can have a lot of imperial concubines, secondary wives, and mistresses. I even have the right to inherit the throne. I have countless gold and silver treasures and a noble status.”

He lowered his voice, as if he were only speaking for Liang Yanbei to listen alone, “But if I want to leave, I will take only you with me and not even include Ah Fu, Qin Qi and Shu Hua. Do you understand?”

“You may not even be able to imagine how important you are to me in my heart.” Wen Chan said seriously.

After holding back these words for a lifetime, he was finally able to say them to Liang Yanbei openly. A huge satisfaction overflowed from his heart, turning into tears that slid down his eyes, and Wen Chan cried very profusely again.

He sniffed and said, still smiling, “I like you more than anything else in this world. As long as I can see you and stand with you, I feel that my life is worth it.”

“If one day you choose someone else, I will definitely be in agony and will never be happy again in my life.”

The last sentence was a conclusion drawn by Wen Chan after personal experience.

It was so simple and easy to say this, but no one would know how long and heart-wrenching torture and suffering Wen Chan had experienced behind it.

As soon as the words fell, Wen Chan’s lips were blocked by a warmth.
