The final exams are coming up soon. Qin Qiyue had been tutoring him very seriously during this period, so Zhuang Wu did not have any problem with most of the questions in the final exam. In fact, he knew the answers to most of the questions.

When the test results came out, Zhuang Wu got a very good score. Although he didn’t rank high all of a sudden, at least he had improved a lot compared to his previous embarrassing results.

On the third day of winter vacation, Wen Jia came to Zhuang Wu. “Xiao Zhuang, I told you before that we would go traveling together during the winter vacation. Zhuang Wu was forced to pack up. While packing, he happened to find the scarf he had just finished knitting for Qin Qiyue. He was going to give it to him before the winter vacation, but it happened that the weather on the last day of school was not suitable for giving a scarf. However, as they had to leave tomorrow, he could only give it now.

He typed a message in his dialog box with Qin Qiyue, edited it and sent it over.

[Haze: Gege, please come out for a moment.]

Just as he was about to put his phone down and start packing while waiting for a reply, his phone rang the next second.

The reply was quite fast.

Before Zhuang Wu could reply, Qin Qiyue asked, “So you were so sleepy during those days at school because you were busy knitting this scarf every night?”

Zhuang Wu nodded. “Yes, I wanted to give it to you before winter break, but I was a little delayed.”

Qin Qiyue interrupted him. “I just said it’s ugly, I didn’t say I don’t like it.”

Zhuang Wu was taken aback, and even Qin Qiyue, who had spoken those words, couldn’t help but freeze in place.

No, why would he say such a thing? It seemed like he blurted it out subconsciously when Zhuang Wu said it was okay if he didn’t want it.

“Gege, you like it?” Zhuang Wu didn’t wait for Qin Qiyue to reply. He went forward and hugged Qin Qiyue and then let go immediately. “I’m glad you like it. Then I’ll give you this gift. I’ll head back now. See you tomorrow, Gege. I look forward to travelling with you.” 

After returning, Zhuang Wu quickly packed up his things.

The next day, both families set out early in the morning.

Qin Qiyue’s father had too much work to do at the company, so he couldn’t go with them today, but he had promised them that he would be there before the New Year.

They decided to travel there before the New Year and spend the New Year there as well.

After sending them to the airport, Qin Qiyue’s father hurried to the company. He wanted to finish his work as soon as possible and then go to Luo City to follow after them.

After arriving, their group went to the hotel front desk to book a room.

The front desk staff apologized and explained to them, “I’m sorry, you have too many people. There are only two rooms left in the hotel and they were booked in advance. You’re a little late.”

They rushed over as soon as they had their days off, but they still arrived too late.

Lin Mengyu thought of a solution. “Oh, nevermind then. It’s not like we can’t have just two rooms. Wen Jia and I can share one room, and Qin Qiyue and Zhuang Wu can share another. What if we change hotels now and there are no vacancies? By the time we come back, the only two rooms in this hotel will be gone, and we’ll end up sleeping on the streets.

Zhuang Wu and Qin Qiyue went to their room. There was only one bed in the room, but it was quite big.

“How can a person not be narcissistic? Who doesn’t like themselves?” Zhuang Wu pinched Qin Qiyue’s chin and deliberately brought their faces closer together. “If I can’t even like myself, how can I like you?” 

The two looked at each other for a few seconds. Qin Qiyue’s gaze fell on Zhuang Wu’s lips. After a while, Qin Qiyue finally looked away, feeling uncomfortable.

After teasing Qin Qiyue until the other’s face turned red, Zhuang Wu withdrew.

On their first night here, they went out to eat at a restaurant together. It was rare for them to go out together as a family after all, so they were all very happy and ordered some wine with the food. As two adult “boys”, Zhuang Wu and Qin Qiyue were also forced to drink.

Lin Mengyu and Wen Jia didn’t think that their children should drink less or anything like that. When they are happy, they should be happy.

Fortunately, after Zhuang Wu became an actor, drinking became a common occurrence, and the alcohol he was forced to drink had little effect on him.

“We’ll be there soon.” Zhuang Wu said. “Hold on a little longer.” 

Qin Qiyue squeezed Zhuang Wu’s hand. “Why not?”

“What do you mean why not?” Zhuang Wu patiently explained. “I can’t carry you, Gege.” 

“I can carry you, why can’t you carry me?” Qin Qiyue was a little angry.

The hand that was held by Qin Qiyue felt a little painful, but Zhuang Wu did not struggle. He was thinking.

It turned out Qin Qiyue was like this when he was drunk; very unreasonable.

“But I can’t carry you. I just can’t.” Zhuang Wu spread his hands. “There’s nothing I can do about it.” 

“Then hug?” Qin Qiyue asked tentatively.

Zhuang Wu’s eyes widened. “Then I won’t be able to move!”

While they were talking, the elevator door opened, and Zhuang Wu took Qin Qiyue’s hand and walked out of the elevator. “We’re here, come out.”

The next second, Zhuang Wu felt a weight on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Qin Qiyue’s head resting on his shoulder.

Then, his body was in the air.

“I can carry you.” Qin Qiyue smiled.

This smile was more real than any before.

Zhuang Wu hugged Qin Qiyue’s neck tightly, feeling a little scared. Qin Qiyue had just said that he couldn’t walk steadily, and now he was suddenly picked up by him. If anything, they might both fall.

Fortunately, apart from the fact that Qin Qiyue was a little shaky when walking, everything was fine. At least he didn’t fall to the ground.

As soon as he entered the room, Qin Qiyue pushed Zhuang Wu down on the sofa and lay on top of him.

Zhuang Wu didn’t expect Qin Qiyue to wake up. Drunk people wouldn’t remember anything the next day anyway. So what could Qin Qiyue do if he became angry now?

A sharp pain shot through the back of his hand, causing Zhuang Wu to curl his fingers and glance at the culprit, Qin Qiyue.

“I have to give it back.” Qin Qiyue replied.

Good good good, he kissed him gently but Qin Qiyue returned it heavily.

“Zhuang Wu,” Qin Qiyue called him softly. “I towards you…” 

Zhuang Wu’s body froze, his mind blank as he waited for Qin Qiyue’s next words.

Are you going to confess?

“I want to take a shower.” Qin Qiyue lay back down again.

“……”

Zhuang Wu was furious. He grabbed Qin Qiyue by the collar. “Take a shower my ass! Tell me clearly, I towards you what? I towards you what?!”

“I… want to take a shower.” Qin Qiyue let Zhuang Wu pull him like that. “Or else…I can’t sleep.” 

“……”

Qin Qiyue refused to finish his words. It was useless to force him to finish. Zhuang Wu compromised. “Never mind you, go then.”

“Why nevermind me?” Qin Qiyue chattered non-stop. “You told me to go shower.” 

“?”

“Then don’t shower.” Zhuang Wu felt a little tired.

“No, need shower.”

Taking a shower in the middle of winter can really mess with drunk people’s heads.
