After tying the scarf, Zhuang Wu and Qin Qiyue went to the breakfast restaurant near the hotel to have breakfast.

Perhaps because of the little conflict in the morning, Zhuang Wu didn’t have much of an appetite at breakfast. But he was afraid of getting hungry at noon, so he forced himself to eat.

After breakfast, Qin Qiyue wanted to go back to the hotel, but Zhuang Wu insisted on taking him to go shopping in the surrounding shopping malls.

It wasn’t often that they had a chance to come to Luo City, and since it was not the New Years yet, the shopping malls were still open. Once the shopping malls close after the holiday, they won’t have a chance to go shopping.

The air was chilly at first, but after putting on the scarf that Zhuang Wu had knitted for him, Qin Qiyue didn’t feel cold at all.

Looking at Zhuang Wu’s freezing flushed face, Qin Qiyue said stiffly, “Let’s go back to the hotel.”

Zhuang Wu was naturally not willing to go back like this just after coming out, so he pestered Qin Qiyue for a long time until Qin Qiyue finally agreed to go for a walk.

The first place they came to was the clothes shop, and Zhuang Wu was immediately attracted by the winter couple outfits on display in the window.

The two couple outfits were sky blue with some parts being gray and silver, and the middle part the only thing that was different. The pattern on one piece of clothing was a kitten, while the pattern on the other piece of clothing was a fox.

He also wanted to wear a couple outfit with Qin Qiyue.

Seeing that Zhuang Wu had been standing there for a long time, Qin Qiyue couldn’t help but urge him, “Why aren’t you leaving yet?”

Zhuang Wu pursed his lips and continued to look at the couple’s outfits.

Should he buy it secretly and give it to Qin Qiyue, then trick Qin Qiyue into wearing his while he wore the other one, so that he can fulfill his little wish of him and Qin Qiyue wearing couple outfits?

Still in a daze? Qin Qiyue sighed and looked in the direction Zhuang Wu was staring at.

They were not close to the display case, with an entire aisle between them. If one did not pay attention to where Zhuang Wu was staring at, it would be hard to tell that Zhuang Wu was looking at the two pieces of clothing.

“You want it?” Qin Qiyue asked the question even though he knew the answer.

He could tell that it was a couple’s outfit, so he naturally knew why Zhuang Wu was staring at it.

Zhuang Wu was not embarrassed at all after being exposed. He even nodded. “Yeah.”

Qin Qiyue glanced at Zhuang Wu and then walked into the clothing store.

Zhuang Wu didn’t understand what Qin Qiyue was doing, but he followed him anyway.

Seeing a customer come in, the clerk immediately stood up from their chair. “Hello, what can I do for you?”

Qin Qiyue didn’t hesitate for a moment. “The couple outfits in the window, please pack them, thank you.”

When Zhuang Wu heard that Qin Qiyue wanted to buy these two sets of clothes, he was surprised for a moment, but then he remembered what Qin Qiyue had said earlier that morning, and he lowered his head, his face expressionless.

Why did the other reject him and at the same time do something that would make him misunderstand? Qin Qiyue, what are you thinking?

After putting the clothes into the shopping bag, Qin Qiyue took it and paid for it.

After leaving the clothing store, Zhuang Wu still looked unhappy. Qin Qiyue was puzzled. “What’s wrong with you? You’re happy one moment and unhappy the next.”

Zhuang Wu asked him back, “Gege, what about you? I want to know what you are thinking.”

Qin Qiyue was stunned and heard Zhuang Wu continue to say, “You said you don’t like me, so why did you agree to be my deskmate? Why do you always help me? …Also, you knew this outfit was a couple’s outfit, so why were you willing to buy it when I said I wanted it?”

The series of questions left Qin Qiyue at a loss as to how to answer.

A long time later, Qin Qiyue handed one of them to Zhuang Wu.

Zhuang Wu took it without knowing why.

“You wanted these clothes.” Qin Qiyue explained, “I’ll just treat it as an early New Year’s gift to you. There’s nothing else to it.”
