AOTTFWGB Chapter 35

“My son’s in a relationship now?”

“Yes. The Omega is very good-looking, though… their personality is a bit unusual. They’re the school’s… well, school tyrant.”

“A school tyrant? An Omega?” Even someone like Xing Li, who had seen all kinds of people in his life, couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow in surprise.

The secretary had anticipated this reaction from Xing Li. After all, when he was tasked by Xing Li to secretly watch over and protect Xing Yeze, even he had been startled by Liang Huan—this little tiger. “He’s a bona fide school tyrant. Even Alphas can’t beat him. Rumor has it, only Young Master’s physical test scores are higher than his.”

Xing Li let out a rare laugh—a genuine one. Aside from moments with his twins or the Omega he loved deeply, he had never laughed this freely. The wrinkles at the corners of his eyes deepened, and the sight made the secretary pause in surprise.

“That rascal… his taste is nothing like mine,” he said, eyes full of the helplessness and affection unique to a father.

The secretary also laughed.

He had followed Xing Li ever since finishing graduate school—starting from running errands, working his way up step by step, until he became Xing Li’s most trusted secretary.

Xing Li trusted him deeply. Not even the Xing family elders—or the Omega Xing Li loved so dearly—understood him as well as the secretary did. In this world, aside from Xing Li himself, only he knew: Xing Li truly loved Xing Yeze.

When Xing Yeze was just born, Xing Li held that tiny, soft bundle in his arms, gazing at the features that so closely resembled his own—and his heart nearly melted.

His love for Xing Yeze never wavered, not even after the twins were born. But because the twins’ mother would cry, throw tantrums, and threaten suicide, he had no choice but to grow distant and cold toward Xing Yeze.

In the beginning, the twins’ mother kept a close eye on Xing Li—she even hired a private investigator to monitor his interactions with Xing Yeze, terrified that Xing Li might still care about that son.

Xing Yeze noticed but never exposed her. He simply let the surveillance continue.

And so it went on—for twelve years. Only then did the twins’ mother finally believe that Xing Li’s heart was filled with nothing but her and the twins, that there was no room left for Xing Yeze.

Fortunately, she still feared the Xing family elders. To avoid being accused of corporate espionage, she had explicitly ordered the private investigator to withdraw immediately whenever Xing Li was at work.

So now, there are some personal matters Xing Li can entrust to his secretary.

The secretary had never liked the twins’ mother. Everyone assumed Xing Li stayed with her because he couldn’t let go of the Xing family’s wealth, power, and status.

But in truth, it was the twins’ mother who had forced Xing Li to return home. The one truly coveting the Xing family was her. And the one enjoying all the privileges was also her.

You could say Xing Li was a fool for love—he knew he was being foolish, yet he was willing to stay foolish forever.

“Is everything settled with the sperm bank?” Xing Li asked.

“Yes,” the secretary replied. “In a few days, they’ll stage an ‘accident’ to destroy your sperm. I also had a specialist formulate the medication. Based on your physical condition, it’ll only affect sperm quality—nothing else.” As he spoke, the secretary took out a vial of medicine from his bag but didn’t hand it over right away. “President Xing… are you sure about this? The effects are permanent.”

After all, what Alpha would willingly choose infertility…? Sigh.

“Of course. If I just got a fake infertility certificate from a hospital, my parents would see through it immediately.”

Fortunately, while his parents were still healthy and open to grooming a new heir, their fertility had already declined. Having another healthy, capable child was unlikely.

So if Xing Li rendered himself infertile, his parents would have no choice but to pin all their hopes on Xing Yeze—their only remaining heir.

As for the Lin family, that wasn’t his concern. With the Xing family as a foundation, his son was already standing at the very peak of the pyramid.

“Let’s just say… this is my way of making it up to Yeze.” After all, he owed Xing Yeze too much for his lover and twins.

Thinking of this, Xing Li swallowed the medicine decisively and then flipped through the other materials handed over by the secretary.

“…With the way those two interact, I honestly can’t tell who the Alpha is anymore.” The more Xing Li looked, the more indescribable his expression became.

Secretary: “…At present, Liang Huan seems to be the Young Master’s… Alpha.”

Xing Li: “…”

“I even helped pay off the credit debts of four of Liang Huan’s little confidants,” the secretary continued, clearly worried. “They told me that as a school tyrant, Liang Huan can’t accept a traditional Alpha-Omega relationship—he can only accept being the Alpha.” He hesitated, then asked, “Sir, do you think the Young Master might actually throw everything away for love and… become the Omega in the relationship?”

After all, as the saying goes, ‘If the beam is crooked, the rafters will follow.’ Xing Li had once been completely under the thumb of the twins’ mother—willing to do anything just to keep her happy.

“No,” Xing Li said without hesitation. “Even the most love-struck top-tier Alpha wouldn’t flip the ‘dominant-submissive’ dynamic. My son’s full of tricks—he’s clearly playing the long game. He’s just trying to reel in that school tyrant for real. There’s still a long road ahead.”
