ABFA Chapter 11

Admission 5

Jiang Sen was also feeling quite frustrated.

His newly bought limited edition sneakers became this dirty in less than two hours of wear.

What? You say the shoes can be cleaned?

Are you kidding? How could Jiang Sen wear cleaned shoes?

In his eyes, cleaned shoes are as dull and unappealing as an omega that’s been marked.

If it were anyone else who stepped on his shoes, Jiang Sen would definitely give them a lesson they’d never forget for life, just like the alpha under his feet.

But this person was Jiang Yue, and that made things difficult for Jiang Sen.

There was an unspoken rule at the Federation Military Academy: Alpha students of similar strength were assigned to the same dorm.

Some alpha students from ordinary backgrounds thought the school assigned dorms based on their family backgrounds, but that was a completely mistaken belief.

Generally speaking, alpha students from prestigious families tend to have similar strength because they possess excellent bloodlines and substantial financial resources. As a result, social resources are often tilted in their favor.

Their overall strength is usually several levels higher than that of ordinary alpha students, which is why students from prominent backgrounds are often assigned to the same dorm.

Being assigned to a dorm with Jiang Yue, an alpha from a slum, was something he found extremely shocking.

Not just him, but the other roommates were equally shocked, so each of them secretly observed Jiang Yue, trying to figure out what kind of person she was and how they should treat her.

There was no doubt that she was a powerful and indifferent alpha.

She had a perfectly strong and healthy body, with every inch of her form exuding an impressive sense of strength. When she walked, there was barely any sound, proving that she had exceptional control over her body.

Jiang Sen was quite eager to observe her muscles up close, perhaps even squeeze her hump to feel just how astonishing her muscle density truly was.

But unfortunately, she never took off her clothes in the dorm. Just like Xi Boyu, she always dressed very conservatively, and Jiang Sen could only see her exposed calves and arms.

This was not a friendly signal.

Alpha students often enjoy showing off their muscles in front of others of the same gender, allowing people to make a brief assessment of them while also signaling trust and goodwill.

But Jiang Yue always dressed tightly, clearly indicating that she didn’t want to make friends with anyone, nor did she want to show goodwill. Her inner world was full of caution, and she was always on guard, ready to strike at any moment.

The people in the dorm could all sense her restless anxiety.

Jiang Sen also noticed that she had a pink omega-exclusive facial cleanser.

It seemed that this alpha had been making a conscious effort to suppress her desire for aggression.

Xiang Sui had once tentatively entered this alpha’s territory.

He poked his head under Jiang Yue’s bed, much like a curious tiger cautiously probing into a neighbor’s territory, testing the waters with its fluffy head.

He tried to show Jiang Yue his friendliness by asking what book she was reading, but this alpha immediately exhibited a strong sense of aggression.

Her deep gray eyes locked onto Xiang Sui, and she coldly said, “Because the language is very humorous. There’s this 3S-level genius who loses control and thinks he’s a cat. He even poops in his cat’s litter box at home. Isn’t that hilarious?”

My God, how dare she!

That was Xiang Sui’s older brother.

That was a dark history the entire Xiang family carefully avoided.

At that moment, Jiang Sen could feel the atmosphere in the dorm suddenly grow tense and heavy.

The red-haired Kuri stopped playing the game, setting the controller down, his pupils narrowing.

Even the drowsy Bai Wang straightened his back, eyes wide as he looked at Jiang Yue.

Even Xi Boyu, who usually remained indifferent, looked over in slight surprise.

Clearly, no one had expected Jiang Yue to be such a highly aggressive person.

A powerful, cautious alpha who liked to lurk in the shadows and kept to herself.

Xiang Sui was furious, and everyone could feel the suppressed anger radiating off him.

Under the intense pressure, the female alpha’s gray eyes remained cold. Her pupils had narrowed into thin slits, and in those emotionless vertical pupils, there was a chilling and cruel serpent-like intensity.

At that moment, Jiang Sen was already thinking about how to clean up the aftermath of their fight.

Surprisingly, they didn’t end up fighting because the female alpha didn’t make a move, and neither did Xiang Sui.

After all, the semester had just started, and no one wanted to end up in solitary confinement.

At the military academy, solitary confinement lasted for three days. The tiny, half-person-height black cages had no windows, only a small ventilation hole. The tall alpha had to squat inside, with no food or water during the confinement. They could only rely on the energy stored in their bodies to get through those three days.

The punishment was too terrifying, and all the military academy students dreaded it.

That evening, Jiang Yue went to wash up, and Jiang Sen saw her using a pink facial cleanser.

With droplets of water on her face, the female alpha looked a little clumsy, and she didn’t seem completely unapproachable.

Jiang Sen spoke with her for a while.

Then he realized that this female alpha truly didn’t know that the genius who had pooped in the litter box was Xiang Sui’s older brother.

Later, Jiang Sen discovered something even more interesting: this female alpha had no idea who Xiang Sui was.

The people in Dorm 2708 were some of the most talked-about figures at the military academy. Everyone was discussing them, and countless people were trying to get close to them, but all of that was completely ignored by the female alpha.

She was completely indifferent to the outside world. It seemed that nothing from the outside could reach her heart, keeping her as aloof and detached as ever.

It wasn’t just Jiang Sen; the other roommates also felt somewhat defeated.

Jiang Sen stared blankly at the footprint on his shoe, lost in thought. Deep down, he didn’t want to fight Jiang Yue.

Some people don’t need to do anything—their mere presence is impossible to ignore. She radiated a powerful sense of pressure, like an insurmountable mountain, commanding awe and making others instinctively look up to her.

Someone like her couldn’t care less about social class—those conventional rules and unspoken norms were complete nonsense in her eyes.

All those flashy, superficial things meant nothing to her.

In just a split second, Jiang Sen had already imagined an entire 180,000-word epic in his head, layering Jiang Yue with a bizarre filter thicker than the Earth’s atmosphere.

Jiang Sen glanced at his sneaker, now marked with a huge footprint courtesy of Jiang Yue, and decided to pretend nothing had happened.

Just as he cleared his throat, ready to downplay the whole thing, the female alpha before him spoke with a blank expression: “Sorry. How much were the shoes? I’ll pay you back.”

Without thinking, Jiang Sen replied, “Two hundred and ten thousand star credits.”

It was only after he said it that Jiang Sen remembered—the female alpha in front of him was from the slums. Forget two hundred and ten thousand star credits, she probably couldn’t even scrape together twenty thousand.

He’d seen her more than once in the cafeteria, eating those sticky, awful-looking budget charity meals.

Now, the female alpha in front of him had gone silent.

Crap crap crap crap crap!

Two hundred thousand!

Jiang Yue was internally falling apart. Two hundred thousand wasn’t a big deal for a wealthy Earth girl—it was basically just the price of a handbag.

But right now, Jiang Yue was flat broke, practically a fighter jet among slum dwellers.

She felt hopeless and anxious, and her mind had already conjured up the image of Jiang Sen stomping her face into the ground.

She glanced at the footprint on the shoe, thinking she had to quietly try and salvage the situation.

They were in the same dorm, after all—if she cleaned Jiang Sen’s shoes, that should be enough… right?

She looked at Jiang Sen. Jiang Sen looked at her.

Silence stretched between them. Then the female alpha in front of him, her cold gray eyes unblinking and face expressionless, said, “Can’t pay you back. Guess I’ll just clean you up instead.”

There was a loud thud from inside the dorm. Their red-haired roommate, Kuri, had been secretly watching the whole time. Apparently too shocked, he dropped his game controller, which clattered across the floor.

Jiang Yue was facing the dorm room entrance and could clearly see her roommates inside staring back at her with looks of utter disbelief.

Silence was contagious—the entire hallway on the 27th floor had gone eerily quiet.

Even the alphas walking down the corridor had stopped in their tracks.

With her sharp hearing, Jiang Yue caught one alpha muttering to himself, his voice full of shock: “Was that… a threat?”

“How does she even dare?”

Jiang Sen was shocked too.

He had already backed down this much, yet the female alpha showed not a shred of appreciation.

His eyes widened, his expression slightly twisted.

Jiang Yue was also shocked.

Why did her nerves always mess with her mouth like this?! When was she ever going to fix this stupid habit?!

What she meant to say was—“Can’t pay you back, let me clean them for you.”

But Jiang Yue’s eyes, overwhelmed by shock, had shifted into sharp, feral vertical pupils again. Her deep-set brows lowered ominously, and a menacing, dangerous aura radiated from her entire being.

Inside, Jiang Yue was a weak, helpless, tearful kitten head.

On the outside, she was tall, cold, and ruthless—hardly a word spoken.

To others, she appeared fierce, barbaric, rebellious, and utterly unreasonable.

But when Jiang Yue got nervous, her expression froze even more. With a stiff, high-cold, “I’m too cool for this” look, she said, “Sorry, I misspoke earlier. What I meant was, I can’t pay you back. Would it be okay if I clean your shoes instead?”

Who would believe that?

Well, Jiang Sen certainly didn’t.

He subtly took two steps back, not even interested in teaching the alpha who had poured porridge on his shoes a lesson. With a bored tone, he said, “Just get lost.”

The alpha covered his face, scrambling away in a mix of running and crawling.

Jiang Sen returned to the dorm with a hint of melancholy, Jiang Yue following closely behind.

She was restless, so she sat at her desk and quietly began reading.

Don’t ask her why she always reads—it’s because the book hides her flushed face.

She was still reading about the occult, the book titled Whispers of the Gods.

In this world, gods refer to forces beyond human comprehension, symbolizing higher-dimensional beings.

Even in the more advanced interstellar age, many mysteries remain unsolved. People still, at times, glimpse a strange and unusual force.

Because in the interstellar age, human mental power can be manifested, there are always some exceptionally gifted individuals in the realm of the mind who can catch a glimpse of the tail end of that power.

When Jiang Yue studied physics, she seriously pondered whether gods truly existed in this world.

On Earth, when physics advanced to the quantum stage, many experimental phenomena that defied intuition emerged, such as the wave-particle duality of light, the semi-lens experiment, quantum entanglement, the photon indistinguishability problem, and particle spin.

Humans can only discover the laws, not create or alter them.

Reading books like this easily leads to scattered thoughts, and scattered thoughts lead to a wandering gaze.

As Jiang Yue’s eyes drifted off, lost in contemplating life, Jiang Sen exchanged a glance with Xiang Sui.

In that moment, the two alphas, whose hearts Jiang Yue had once wounded, reached a silent consensus.

Jiang Yue—an icy, violent alpha.

An exterior as cold as an iceberg, with a soul as fierce as a storm.
