BMLVS – Chapter 51

Yu Mingjiao was crying too hard. No matter how Cen Lingqiu tried to coax her, it was no use.

She was completely lost in a kind of irrational frenzy, crying and laughing. Perhaps unable to accept this reality, her emotions were extremely unstable.

Her tears were like blades, slicing away at Cen Lingqiu’s bones, inch by inch.

She patiently caressed Yu Mingjiao’s tear-streaked face, her own eyes stinging, and whispered softly, “Jiao Jiao, don’t cry.”

“I will find a way to come back to your side again, I promise you.”

No matter what it took, she had to find a way back to Yu Mingjiao. She would do many, many jobs, accumulate a massive amount of points, and maybe then she could stay in this world.

Whatever the method, she had to try it.

“Jiao Jiao, believe me.”

Cen Lingqiu stared into her eyes.

Yu Mingjiao turned her face away, her voice choked with sobs. “Don’t say it.”

“Don’t say any more.” Her shoulders trembled, like a fragile child who had lost a toy. “…You’re always lying to me. Don’t make any more promises to me. They’re all fake, all of them are fake!”

Cen Lingqiu was always very patient with her. “How could that be, Jiao Jiao? I love you. How could I lie to you?”

She pressed her forehead against Yu Mingjiao’s, her breath falling on her face.

“Jiao Jiao, my life was pale and barren. Friendship, family affection—I’ve never felt them. I was also an abandoned person. In my more than thirty years of life, not a single person has loved me, cared about what I said, or been concerned about my existence. You are the only one who has made me feel loved.”

“So Jiao Jiao, I love you. I will love you until the day I die.”

Cen Lingqiu’s raw confession, every word and sentence, struck Yu Mingjiao like a dense flurry of soft knives, only making her feel even more heartbroken.

Her tears flowed ceaselessly.

After getting together with Cen Lingqiu, she had been crying constantly.

After crying for who knows how long, Yu Mingjiao was exhausted from it, unable to shed any more tears. The intense emotional storm left behind a cold face, like a landscape after a blizzard has ceased.

She met Cen Lingqiu’s gaze directly, her eyes dark and profound, her lips pressed tightly together.

“But why should I believe you?”

She simply didn’t dare to believe that Cen Lingqiu could come back again.

Even if she could come back, she would leave again.

In her heart, Cen Lingqiu was someone who couldn’t stay by her side.

She had already accepted this fact.

But Cen Lingqiu just smiled and kissed her cheek.

“Because you love me, Jiao Jiao.”

Yu Mingjiao turned her face away, not letting her kiss her.

“Wicked woman,” she said, her tone icy.

Cen Lingqiu didn’t get angry. She let out a few low laughs.

“Jiao Jiao.”

She sat on Yu Mingjiao, wrapped her arms around her neck, and leaned close to her face, her tone intimate and tender.

“Do you want to have me?”

Yu Mingjiao looked up, tilting her head slightly, as if she couldn’t understand her words.

Cen Lingqiu’s heart was beating very fast.

Perhaps it was because Yu Mingjiao’s eyes were too beautiful, her eyelashes damp, the corners of her eyes a peach-blossom red, her cheeks snow-white. Her stunning face was inexplicably filled with a damp sorrow.

Cen Lingqiu’s heart felt empty, filled with a bit of despair.

“Don’t you want to?”

She started to laugh, lightly nibbling on Yu Mingjiao’s earlobe and breathing softly against her ear.

“The things lovers do aren’t limited to just kissing, Jiao Jiao.”

It dawned on Yu Mingjiao, and her earlobe instantly turned red. Slowly, her cheeks flushed red as well.

Her eye sockets were red, the tip of her nose was red, and her cheeks and neck were all red, like a thoroughly flushed rabbit.

She looked at Cen Lingqiu in disbelief.

Cen Lingqiu was nervous too, but she was, after all, so much older than Yu Mingjiao; it wouldn’t be right to back down.

There was a color of despair between her and Yu Mingjiao.

Tears, sorrow, helplessness—these things always accompanied them.

The more hopeless they felt mentally, the more they needed a certain physical contact.

It was as if by merging their bodies, their distance would also shrink.

Cen Lingqiu’s spirit was also not far from madness. She was about to be driven mad by the helpless reality and just wanted to do something to distract from the inescapable sense of loss.

“Let’s do it, Jiao Jiao.” Cen Lingqiu pressed her forehead against hers, her voice very light and soft.

Yu Mingjiao, perhaps sensing the darkness emanating from Cen Lingqiu, lowered her eyelids, hiding her gray, despairing pupils.

She bit her lip, grabbed Cen Lingqiu’s hair, pulled her head back, and kissed her fiercely.

Cen Lingqiu quickly accepted her ferocious kiss, swiftly melting into it.

The temperature rose, and an ambiguous intimacy flowed between them.

Yu Mingjiao was like a little puppy who only knew how to kiss and nothing else. She sat on the bed, somewhat at a loss, her eyes frantic.

“Sister Lingqiu, I… I don’t know how.”

Cen Lingqiu sighed and had no choice but to teach her.

Yu Mingjiao lifted her eyelids to look at Cen Lingqiu.

Her eyes, usually as clear and light as mist, were now filled with the colors of spring. They shimmered, slightly narrowed, possessing a charm that was both alluring and ascetic.

Her lips were very red. She bit her lip slightly, revealing her white teeth and a hint of her scarlet tongue.

This was a stark contrast to her calm and gentle daytime appearance.

A flash of intense desire crossed Yu Mingjiao’s eyes. The beast in her heart could no longer be suppressed. Lust completely swept away Yu Mingjiao’s reason. Her expression turned dark and brooding. She no longer shrank back, but was like a fierce little puppy, wagging its tail nonstop.

In the depths of passion, Yu Mingjiao rested her head on Cen Lingqiu’s shoulder. She finally felt Cen Lingqiu more deeply, but for some reason, she wanted to cry even more.

Cen Lingqiu.

Why did she always indulge her?

Why was she so soft-hearted towards her?

Why did she appear by her side time and time again?

Why didn’t she leave?

And why did she have to leave her over and over again?

Tears began to flow again. Cen Lingqiu felt the dampness on her shoulder. She held back her desire and kissed Yu Mingjiao’s earlobe.

“Why are you crying again? Are you made of tears?”

Yu Mingjiao didn’t answer, biting her lip instead.

Cen Lingqiu hissed in a breath, then cursed her with a laugh.

”You heartless thing.”
