RoCD Chapter 66

Arc 4: Domineering CEO dotes on her wife (12)

Noticing that something was amiss with Youyou’s state of mind, Fu Shu returned to Yan City that very night.

She knew how important Bai Qu was to Youyou. In some ways, she even felt she should be grateful to Bai Qu.

Heedless of her physical and mental exhaustion, Fu Shu took out her key, opened the door, and walked into the bedroom, hurrying to the bed.

Beneath the warm, dim glow of the wall lamp, the little girl lay fast asleep on her side, revealing only half of her soft, beautiful face and her delicate, fair little ears. Her breath caught almost imperceptibly.

Fu Shu lowered her head slightly, and with a posture of near reverence, she tucked the girl’s messy hair behind her ear.

Then, she gently stroked her cheek with the pad of her finger, the deep, doting affection in her eyes nearly overflowing. “Youyou.”

This was her sweet girl—so soft and delicate, so sweet and well-behaved, that she wished she could offer up her own heart to her with both hands.

“Youyou, Youyou, I’m back.” She called out a few more times, wanting the young girl to open her eyes and look at her.

At this moment, Fu Shu’s eyes were filled with affection, with not a trace of her usual cold-blooded and formidable demeanor.

A woman in love always wants her partner to notice her and react to her, and in this, even a powerful CEO like Fu Shu was no exception.

Although she was incredibly sleepy and longed to strip off her clothes and fall asleep holding the young woman’s soft, fragrant body, Fu Shu still wanted Youyou to see with her own eyes that she had returned and to give her several big hugs.

Fu Shu’s voice was low and restrained. It was a voice summoned with all the tenderness a woman who was not naturally soft-hearted could muster.

Youyou awoke from her hazy slumber. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw Fu Shu—who was supposed to be out of town—right before her.

And… her hair had turned red?

“So beautiful.” A whisper escaped her lips as Youyou reached out.

Fu Shu lowered her head again, deliberately moving her red hair into Youyou’s hand.

It was a posture of meek compliance, like a murderous, savage beast that had been tamed, willingly allowing its master to fasten its shackles and pat its head.

At the same time, this was a side of herself Fu Shu would never reveal to another soul. “Do you like it?” Her clear and gentle voice sounded almost fantastical in the silent night.

Coupled with her otherworldly face, it would be no exaggeration to call her a succubus. At that moment, this devastatingly beautiful enchantress gazed at Youyou with deep, focused affection.

As if she had anticipated this reaction all along, her lips curved into another smile, causing the already captivated Youyou’s mind to go completely blank. She was utterly stunned. “I-I like it.”

A deep blush rapidly spread across her face. Her delicate earlobes, in particular, turned so red they looked as if they might bleed. Youyou tilted her head up, revealing her entire face. She looked down at the red hair in her hand, then up at the enchanting Fu Shu, her gaze astonishingly bright.

“Pfft. You perverted little kitten, why is your reaction so adorable, hmm?”

Unable to resist, Fu Shu kissed the young woman’s lips. She propped herself up with a hand on the bed to avoid crushing Youyou, the tip of her tongue swiftly parting the girl’s defenses to plunder the sweetness within.

It wasn’t as if they were inexperienced. Back before Bai Qu had appeared, she and Youyou had spent a long, sweet time together.

Noticing that the hand clutching her hair had gone limp, a flicker of triumph flashed in Fu Shu’s eyes. She guided Youyou more intently into a sea of desire. The innocent Youyou was no match for her in this regard.

As expected, by the time the kiss ended, Youyou had lost all track of time. Fu Shu sat silently on the bed, pecking Youyou’s lips and waiting for her to come to her senses. It was utter torment.

“Ngh…”

The soft, sweet sound made Fu Shu stop. She looked up and met Youyou’s glistening, yet now slightly clearer, eyes. A silent smile touched her lips. “Awake now? Is it because Youyou is just too delicious? You made me lose control.”

Youyou was speechless.

“Hmph.”

Letting out a delicate, petulant huff, the now completely limp Youyou frowned in discomfort and whimpered sweetly, “Sleepy.”

Being woken from a deep sleep was bad enough, but then Fu Shu had gone and done… that. Pouting aggrievedly, Youyou felt as though all her energy had been forcibly drained away. Nothing felt right.

Whether from exhaustion or something else, Youyou desperately wanted to cry.

She really, really wanted to.

Fu Shu could tell at a glance that the girl was just being unreasonable because she hadn’t gotten enough sleep and had been disturbed. She was trying to rebel in her own little way. Fu Shu kissed the corner of Youyou’s eye, gently and tenderly soothing her. “Be good. If you’re sleepy, then sleep. I won’t bother you anymore.”

It was all her fault.

She should have just stayed by her side quietly.

After apologizing repeatedly and showering the girl with praise, Fu Shu patiently coaxed Youyou back to sleep, just like comforting a child, without a hint of impatience.

Seeing the rosy color return to the young woman’s cheeks and the frown between her brows disappear, Fu Shu watched her for a moment before laughing under her breath, “So spoiled.”

If someone had dared to predict that she would one day become like this over a woman, Fu Shu guaranteed she would have beaten them senseless.

Fu Shu wrapped her arms around the girl over the covers, a ghost of an embrace to satisfy her longing. Then, she got up and went to the bathroom to shower. After changing into her pajamas, she returned to the bed, content. She pulled Youyou into her arms, holding her tightly, so very tightly.

It was a night of peaceful sleep.

The next day, when Fu Shu opened her eyes, she saw the girl she longed for staring at her with bright, shining eyes.

Fu Shu’s pupils contracted. She realized they were lying on their sides, face to face, and her hand was resting on the girl’s slender waist.

“Xiao Youyou[mfn](t/n: the xiao here means little, but I feel like xiao youyou reads better here than “little youyou”)[/mfn], you’ve been watching me this whole time?”

Her heart danced with joy. Fu Shu truly felt that dyeing her hair had been worth it. She narrowed her eyes in enjoyment, then leaned in and pressed a kiss to Youyou’s forehead.

Her voice was incredibly soft.

“Mm-hmm.”

Neither shy nor embarrassed, Youyou nodded and took the initiative to snuggle into Fu Shu’s arms. “Fu Shu, you’re very tired, aren’t you?”

She rubbed her head against Fu Shu’s soft chest. This was the first time Youyou had woken up to find Fu Shu still fast asleep in bed.

Fu Shu was actually very beautiful with her eyes closed. At least, as Youyou watched her, her own heart began to thump rapidly. Just as she was about to wake Fu Shu, Xixi had stopped her. Xixi said that Fu Shu must have rushed back because she was worried about her, so she must have been very, very tired and needed a proper rest.

Her heart ached with a bittersweet pang. Youyou bit Fu Shu’s breast through her pajama top and apologized in a muffled voice, “I’m sorry.”

These past few days, she had been so worried about Bai Qu and Su Ling that she had been aloof with Fu Shu. Although she used to be like that with Su Ling often, well…

It’s not like I felt bad for Su Ling, she thought with a huff.

Fu Shu was speechless.

An apology is an apology, but why the bite?

The corner of her mouth twitched, but Fu Shu’s heart warmed at the girl’s thoughtfulness. Realizing this was the perfect time and place for her confession, Fu Shu used both hands to lift the young woman and settle her on top of her.

“Youyou, I have something to apologize for, too.”

She tickled the girl’s chin to make her look up. A smile touched Fu Shu’s lips. “Actually, when I said I went bankrupt before, it was because I had a fight with my family, and they kicked me out. And this time, when I said I had business to take care of, it was because they couldn’t handle things and begged me to come back and inherit the family business.”

Shifting the blame without a hint of guilt, Fu Shu’s eyes curved in amusement when she saw Youyou’s own eyes widen abruptly.

Youyou was speechless.

“So, you’re saying you’re a rich woman again?”

It took a long moment for her to fully grasp Fu Shu’s meaning. Youyou blinked in astonishment and praised her sincerely, “You’re so amazing. That’s super cool.”

Being begged by others to inherit the family business and all… that was just way too incredible.

“It’s nothing, really. I have money now, so Youyou can spend mine.” Afraid that if they dwelled on this topic any longer, she wouldn’t be able to keep her composure, Fu Shu casually changed the subject, her expression gradually turning serious. “Youyou, Bai Qu and Su Ling will definitely be alright. Don’t worry too much.”

They say a scourge lasts a thousand years, after all. Fu Shu had faith in Bai Qu.

Because Youyou was still alive, that “sis-con”[mfn](t/n: (妹控 mèi kòng): This is a slang term borrowed from Japanese ACG (Anime, Comic, Game) culture. It’s a shortened form of “sister complex” (シスターコンプレックス, shisutā konpurekkusu). It refers to a character (usually male) who has an extreme, often obsessive, devotion to their younger sister. Here, it’s used to show Bai Qu’s deep protective feelings for Youyou, which are not necessarily romantic.)[/mfn] Bai Qu would definitely be reluctant to die.

“En.”

“Hmm?”

The little lady wasn’t overthinking things for once?

Rarely able to decipher Fu Shu’s confusion, Youyou reached out a fingertip to poke Fu Shu’s cheek and told her the truth, “Xixi told me that the flow of time is different in every world, so I should just wait patiently and not be anxious.”

Besides, even if she couldn’t wait for them in this world, she would eventually meet them again later on.

“I see.”

Having experienced the whole transmigrating-into-a-book affair, Fu Shu also understood the concept of different time flows. However, the moment she considered that her destiny with Youyou might be limited to just these two worlds, her heart ached with a sharp, stabbing pain.

The aura around her gradually sharpened. Fu Shu suddenly pinned Youyou beneath her, and under the girl’s innocent and uncomprehending gaze, she kissed her lips fiercely.

She’ll forget me!

She still has an infinite future!

She’ll grow to like and become close to other people!

Although she knew that Youyou wouldn’t forget her on purpose, Fu Shu was still furious. Terribly, incredibly furious. She felt so angry she could die, so angry she wanted to cough up blood.

A kiss filled with boundless, suppressed anger quickly engulfed the room, heating it up. Although the air conditioner was on and the temperature was cool, Fu Shu, whose heart was burning like a fire at that moment, still pinned Youyou down and passionately took her.

One minute, two minutes.

Before long, the room was filled with the girls’ panting and soft moans. By the time everything was finally over, Youyou’s body was already covered in hickies.

There was hardly a single unblemished spot.

Sobbing uncontrollably, Youyou had been frightened to tears by the frenzied Fu Shu. She glared resentfully at her, looking utterly pitiful.

“Tsk. Don’t tell me Youyou didn’t enjoy that?”

Her enchanting red hair was strewn across the bed in a messy tangle. The corners of Fu Shu’s eyes were flushed red, and her jade-like skin shimmered with a soft glow. Her every glance was filled with a watery brilliance and alluring charm.

She lay slightly on her side, one hand propping up her head, the other stroking Youyou’s lips. Her expression was lazy and suggestive, yet it concealed a whirlwind of complex emotions.

Youyou was speechless.

Hng… I’m hungry.”

So limp she couldn’t even lift a finger, Youyou looked accusingly at Fu Shu.

“I want to eat soup dumplings, and I want to watch cartoons.”
