TAISS – Chapter 2

Lin Jianheng, or as she should be called now, Jian Heng, froze when she heard the woman’s voice.

The woman was truly a succubus; even her tears fell with a grace others could not possess.

A single teardrop hung from her chin, tracing a faint, wet path.

Another welled in her eye, shrouding her gaze in a hazy mist.

The scattered, sparkling light from the lavish crystal chandelier refracted through it, creating an image of delicate vulnerability.

She didn’t bite her lip, lower her gaze, or even bow her head. She simply stared straight at Lin Jianheng.

She conveyed her desire with startling directness, as if she were genuinely sincere and Lin Jianheng would accept all of her.

She’s so pitiful.

With just two tears, the woman communicated this to Lin Jianheng.

It made Lin Jianheng feel as though she were about to faint, the way one might before sudden death. Her head buzzed, and heat surged from her heart.

A jumble of information followed close behind.

Won’t someone help her?

She’s so fragile right now; you could have her with ease.

Do you see the invisible chains on her? The sturdy rope behind her back? Pull it tight.

Lin Jianheng was startled by these thoughts, which seemed to originate from within her own mind. After regaining her senses, however, she felt as if someone was implanting these ideas into her.

Could it be the original owner of this body?

Lin Jianheng took a deep breath and retreated slightly, putting an inch of distance between herself and the Succubus Sister.

The burning sensation faded a little, and the drunken stupor dissipated. Only then did Lin Jianheng realize how irrational she had just been.

She had almost pressed herself against the pitiful Succubus Sister and done things she couldn’t even imagine.

No matter how muddled her mind was, Lin Jianheng couldn’t do something like that.

She had been a straight woman in her past life. Now, retaining those memories, her sexual orientation couldn’t possibly have changed just because she died once… right?

Lin Jianheng grumbled to herself mentally while frantically searching her memory for the novel’s plot.

She desperately needed to know which plot point she had transmigrated into and what the original owner had done to the Succubus Sister before her arrival.

Perhaps because she had briefly imagined it before transmigrating, her memories of the original novel were indeed clearer than anything else.

Lin Jianheng recalled all the vile things the original owner had done to the Succubus Sister.

The Succubus Sister had been taken by the head of an underground organization after losing her memory.

She was beautiful, had high-grade pheromones, and her spiritual power was exceptional. Yet, she possessed the inherent weakness of the succubus race: a single dose of a drug could plunge her into a desperate heat period, making her easy to control. Furthermore, she had virtually no special abilities, so there was no fear of rebellion.

The original Jian Heng had spotted this succubus by chance while attending an auction with her mother. Instantly captivated, she spent a fortune to sign a contract with her and take her away.

In simpler terms—she bought her and took her home.

Although the succubus race was lustful by nature, they had their own principles.

This poor succubus refused to yield despite being tormented by the original owner, suffering starvation, beatings, and confinement in a small room.

Lin Jianheng even remembered her best friend complaining about a contradiction in the novel’s world-building.

It claimed succubi were lustful and would use various means to find contract partners after coming of age, yet the Succubus Sister the protagonist took away was described as having unyielding pride.

In any case, the original owner eventually lost patience and resorted to a forceful and despicable method—drugging her.

Lin Jianheng immediately realized she had transmigrated too late.

The Succubus Sister’s current state was clearly not right. Her pink-flushed tail was a sign of arousal. A closer look revealed a pinkish glow in her eyes, and her breathing was erratic and rapid. She had undoubtedly fallen for the original owner’s scheme.

And, Lin Jianheng had just noticed the wounds on the Succubus Sister’s body.

They weren’t deep, but the succubus race possessed extraordinary regenerative abilities.

Lin Jianheng had no way of knowing just how cruelly the original owner had treated the Succubus Sister.

What if she had arrived just a little earlier? Lin Jianheng didn’t think she could handle the Succubus Sister’s heat period.

This was another woman. If it had been a male incubus, she…

Lin Jianheng shook her head, refusing to entertain the thought. Even if it were a male incubus, she wouldn’t do that with him. It was too scary; she’d be doing well not to throw him out.

Because it was another woman, Lin Jianheng managed to retain a sliver of rationality in this dead-end situation—she didn’t just throw the Succubus Sister out of the room or run away herself.

In the few seconds Lin Jianheng was thinking, the Succubus Sister narrowed her eyes.

She could feel a faint fluctuation of spiritual power coming from this supposedly useless Alpha who was thought to have none.

This in itself was strange enough, but at this moment, the succubus had no mind to ponder it.

She had her own problems to deal with. She would just assume this new “master” had been feigning weakness all along.

What was important was the panic conveyed through that spiritual power.

It seemed to be shrinking back, feeling guilty, yet also tinged with resentful indignation. She didn’t know who it was directed at.

The succubus tried to move, lowering her gaze to hide the turbulence in her eyes.

She didn’t trust the person before her.

This hedonist had spent so much money to obtain her and had boasted about it to so many people.

Then came the abuse, the confinement, and finally, the drugs.

How could she possibly back down now?

Perhaps it was an act, meant to make her lower her guard.

The Empire claimed all races were equal, but it was ultimately unfriendly to weak races like succubi, who contributed little.

For instance, she was bound by a contract to the person before her. Even if she ran out wailing, she would be sent right back into her hands.

And the succubus was already exhausted.

Such was the nature of her race.

Their heat periods came on suddenly and violently, harder to control or alleviate than that of any SSS-grade Omega.

Only marking could solve it. The heat would continuously drain the energy from their bodies and consume their spirit.

In the end, she could even die from it.

The Succubus Sister used the silence to think, her mind sluggish from the torment of her heat.

Did she want to live in shame, or die a resolute but painful death?

The succubus’s fingers trembled, lacking the strength to untie the ropes.

The heat in her body was becoming unbearable. The weakness in her limbs gradually eroded her will.

Almost instantly, she made a decision based on instinct.

She wanted to live, no matter what it took.

“Master…” the succubus began, her voice soft.

It was full of tremors, very gentle, like a freshly laundered velvet cushion—warm and comfortable to lie on.

And for that reason, it was intoxicating, possessing a charm that could make one lose themselves.

“Please…” The succubus moved with all her might, the bells on her ankles chiming crisply.

It shattered Lin Jianheng’s train of thought, pulling her instantly into the succubus’s illusion.

An ambiguous and comfortable illusion, one that wouldn’t harm Lin Jianheng in the slightest, only asking for a little something.

Body fluids.

Anything would do. A kiss, oral, a mark…

A drugged succubus, a succubus with a master, needed to get through her most dangerous heat period.

“Please, have pity.” The succubus’s voice was hoarse. She deliberately tightened her throat to make her plea sound more humble, more fragile.

Beads of sweat trickled down her forehead, staining her beautiful collarbones and pooling there like a small spring.

Sweet pheromones dissolved with the sweat, evaporating into the air.

Her skin had a damp sheen. Her shirt was loose, its buttons long since undone by her own struggles, and it was about to slip off.

The succubus knew her advantages.

And she understood what the person before her wanted.

“Please, Master, my dearest Master… I know I was wrong, please…” A sentence, punctuated by a soft sigh.

The sound of her breathing was the best kind of white noise.

Especially with that sob in her voice. Tears would add to her allure.

The succubus only wanted to get through her heat.

Faced with a tyrant, she could only feign submission.

She refused to believe she wouldn’t find a chance to strike back, so the most important thing now was to survive.

She wasn’t begging Lin Jianheng.

She was begging for her life.

“No, no, no…” Unexpectedly, Lin Jianheng was even more flustered than she was.

She stumbled backward, nearly falling off the bed.

Lin Jianheng threw her hands back to support herself, her body half-suspended in the air.

Lin Jianheng absolutely did not want to be ground to dust by the succubus before her.

She still remembered the ending the original novel had in store for this scum Alpha.

Besides, the demon before her was no ordinary succubus…

It was no joke. Harming the king of the Demon Clan—what could she, an unremarkable and even subpar Alpha who relied solely on her family background, possibly do?

Uh, speaking of which, what does this ‘A’ stand for?

Countless thoughts flashed through Lin Jianheng’s mind in a second, and the most prominent one made her speak.

“I-I-I, I’m straight! I won’t do that with you!” Lin Jianheng quickly adjusted her posture, kneeling before the Succubus Sister.

It was practically a dive, and she almost fell into the succubus’s arms—the latter was already prepared to receive another’s warmth, even though she hated this person to the bone and wanted to flay her alive at every moment.

Lin Jianheng’s spiritual power fluctuated again, making the succubus feel uneasy as well.

Guilt, nervousness, fear… these negative emotions completely overshadowed the strange wording in Lin Jianheng’s speech.

The succubus managed to keep her composure, but her eyes couldn’t help but flicker for an instant.

“What is ‘straight’?” she asked, her voice still low and hoarse.

“Huh?” Lin Jianheng looked up and once again saw the wounds on the Succubus Sister.

The original owner really deserved to die! Why did she have to do such a vile thing, taking what she wanted by force?

She wasn’t bad-looking and her family was rich, couldn’t she have just waited for mutual consent!

Now she was in deep trouble. Facing a life-threatening situation right after transmigrating, she might as well have been reincarnated again.

Thinking of the “ground to dust” ending and looking at this impossible situation, Lin Jianheng genuinely felt like bashing her head against a wall and dying.

If she killed herself, the Succubus Sister would probably be freed too. A so-called win-win.

Anyway, she was someone who deserved to die. She didn’t know why she had been reborn, but this clearly wasn’t the good reincarnation she’d hoped for.

The heavens must have misheard her prayers. No matter, she could try again.

At this thought, Lin Jianheng simply started slapping herself.

Once she slapped herself silly, she’d just smash her head on the floor and die. That would be reincarnation squared, all in one day.

“I’m sorry, Sister!” Lin Jianheng slapped herself with genuine feeling—after all, it wasn’t her skin, her body.

She was going to return it to its original owner!

“I don’t want to do anything to you! I’m straight, I can’t do anything to you!” She was as straight as an arrow!

If she said she was suddenly homophobic, would the Succubus Sister believe her?

It was just that slapping herself really hurt.

Lin Jianheng didn’t hold back on the first slap and made herself cough, a metallic taste rising in her throat.

The succubus watched, completely stunned.

Her heat was almost scared away.

Lin Jianheng paused, ignored the taste of blood, and continued slapping.

Compared to the injuries the Succubus Sister had suffered, this was nothing.

She hoped that after her soul returned to the other world, the original owner could come back and deal with this mess.

Surprise, original owner! Here’s a taste of your own medicine. Don’t thank me.

With that thought, Lin Jianheng slapped herself with even more vigor.

What she didn’t know was that although the Succubus Sister’s eyes were wide, she didn’t believe a word of Lin Jianheng’s act.

Never mind that she didn’t know what “straight” meant.

The sudden appearance of this spiritual power, which seemed like interference, was enough to put her on high alert.

She had been brought home by this “master” a month ago. What kind of torture hadn’t she endured?

People don’t just have a sudden change of heart.

The succubus simply assumed the person before her had some unknown fetish.

For someone born into nobility but possessing no matching strength, a mere pretty face, being psychologically twisted was all too normal.

Perhaps this one particularly enjoyed watching the suffering of others who couldn’t get what they wanted.

Unable to vent her desire, she could only grit her teeth and maintain a basic level of dignity.

The moment she lost her dignity would be the moment she received more abuse and ridicule.

There was no moment of release. But eventually, they would return to their games. It was impossible that she would really be ignored for days on end, left to suffer through her heat.

After all, one doesn’t sign a contract with a succubus just to kill them.

The succubus took a deep breath and released the restraints on her pheromones.

She let her heat period intensify.

She would use her instincts to fight for a chance at survival. That was all.

The succubus tossed her hair back and let her shirt slide off.
