TAISS – Chapter 15

A very light lick.

Like a kitten, snuggling on your shoulder, unaccustomed to the strange scent you’ve brought back. After sniffing you up and down, it finally confirms it’s you, then sticks out its tongue to groom your fur.

It’s treating you as one of its own—as a sister, a mother, a daughter.

Yan Su was just such a kitten.

She was highly vigilant, yet gentle and innocent.

Just a small show of friendliness was enough to coax her into exposing her soft belly.

For a moment, Lin Jianheng thought she was stroking a kitten’s belly.

Lowering her head, she saw the fluffy crown of Yan Su’s head.

The marks from Lin Jianheng’s ruffling during their earlier welcoming hug remained, the messy red velvet strands intertwined in a casual way.

She could also see her eyelashes, which seemed so soft they would collapse if they touched skin. The thin mist in her eyes kissed the fine hairs on her cheek.

She was truly a little kitten, with a fluffy head and a soft body.

Lin Jianheng thought, It’s not the Yan Su kitten licking me, but me enjoying the trust this little kitten has given me.

She would never betray this trust.

Lin Jianheng closed her eyes, the base of her ears turning pink unconsciously. The corner of her mouth that had been licked was unbelievably hot.

No one had ever been this close to her…

Lin Jianheng didn’t find it unpleasant, but her heart felt an intense itch, as if Yan Su’s tongue was licking its very tip, separated from the nerves by a layer of flesh, never quite providing a satisfying release.

She held her breath and thought worriedly. Sigh, my Sister Yan is actually more proactive than me. I’ve lost the upper hand.

A breath later, Yan Su had already pulled away. Their breaths slowly slipped apart with the distance, untangling from each other.

Lin Jianheng could finally open her eyes. She was still a little uncomfortable, but she didn’t scold Yan Su.

She didn’t know how fast Yan Su’s heart was beating.

Even less did she know about the streams of sweat on Yan Su’s back, the pressure of her bold move, the relief of a burden lifted, and…

The sweet taste in her mouth.

Yan Su couldn’t quite say what she had tasted.

Perhaps it was food crumbs, perhaps sweat and pheromones.

Perhaps, it was Lin Jianheng herself.

She had burned up all her courage, becoming a drooping, air-dried rose.

Lin Jianheng still showed her a smiling face. “You’re really too good, to personally… you don’t find it distasteful?”

Yan Su blinked.

Was it because she had anticipated Lin Jianheng’s reaction that she had been so bold?

Her action just now clearly counted as insubordination. As her heartbeat slowly returned to normal, she had already recalled the pain of scoldings and punishments, yet she hadn’t fallen into a black hole of fear.

“You are my master, how could I find you distasteful.” Yan Su shifted her waist shyly.

Her tail flicked back and forth behind her.

Dark red seeped into the tail’s original jet black, the swaying motion like a blooming firework.

So succubi are such a cute species.

Lin Jianheng understood. The little kitten was shy, moving its tail restlessly.

“Then thank you for trusting me.” Lin Jianheng wanted to repay this trust.

How could she let Sister Yan be more proactive than her?

She had to win the next round.

When it came to showing friendliness and closing the distance, she had never lost before.

Lin Jianheng’s fever had subsided. She was making her own little plans, while on the surface not forgetting to pat her cute kitten sister’s head and rub her face.

Yan Su just sat there obediently, stretching her neck and offering her face.

Her eyes, usually emotionless, were now devoid of coldness, holding only a cute blankness.

There was light in her eyes, and in the light, there were tears and joy.

Lin Jianheng’s eyes also brightened. She suddenly spoke, stopping the motion of scratching the kitten’s chin. “Sister Yan.”

Yan Su remained in her head-pat-seeking posture, her tail frozen in place, as if time had stopped for her.

“Let’s sleep together tonight too, okay? You come to my room.” It was rare for their feelings to warm up like this.

Lin Jianheng wanted to reclaim her loss as soon as possible.

“…As long as it pleases Master.” Yan Su had no reason to refuse.

She had already exposed her belly.

And Lin Jianheng had given the gentlest of strokes.

Smoothing over the scars of the past.

The AI Butler’s movements were a beat slow.

When Lin Jianheng came out of the shower, the table hadn’t been cleared yet.

She wasn’t angry, though. Seeing the AI Butler resting quietly to the side, she didn’t disturb it and cleared the table herself.

“…My apologies, Little Miss.” The AI Butler finally moved and walked over.

“It’s fine, go rest. Are you out of battery?” Lin Jianheng had lived alone for many years in her original world, so her movements were quick and nimble.

“Then thank you, Little Miss. I’ll go back to charge now.” It wasn’t because it was out of battery.

The AI Butler walked towards its charging port, unable to resist looking back at Lin Jianheng one more time.

Strange, too strange…

Where on earth has my master gone?

Lin Jianheng didn’t notice anything unusual. After clearing everything away, she returned to her room.

Yan Su was using her bathroom.

She had nothing else to do, so she lay on the bed and played a game.

In the interstellar era, games were all AI-generated holographic images, creating deeply immersive scenes.

…And the accursed anti-addiction system.

Lin Jianheng could even understand it. The first time she tried, she almost played day and night. When the AI Butler pulled her out of the game, she almost couldn’t distinguish reality from the virtual world, thinking she had transmigrated again.

Lin Jianheng chose the least immersive 3D projection mode. She was just waiting for Yan Su; they could whisper some sweet nothings to each other later.

“Master, I’ve finished washing.” A quarter of an hour later, Yan Su came out of the bathroom, drying her hair.

The way she said it made it sound like she had washed herself clean and was waiting for something.

Lin Jianheng waved her over. “Hurry up and come whisper sweet nothings with me.”

Yan Su’s steps faltered.

Right now, she was only wearing a bathrobe.

There were still water stains on her body that hadn’t fully dried.

She heard those two words, and even felt that she was indeed very suitable for kissing like this.

Yan Su didn’t make a sound, didn’t question, and certainly didn’t refuse.

She walked up to Lin Jianheng and watched her dear master turn off the game.

So she really does want to kiss me.

Yan Su even let out a sigh of relief.

Master is very good. Therefore, it’s only reasonable that she wants something from me.

Otherwise, on what grounds do I deserve such a good master?

Yan Su untied the bow of her bathrobe. She hadn’t tied it very tightly to begin with, and the loose white towel instantly slipped off.

A garden full of spring scenery. It was the pinkish-white of apricot blossoms.

Much more eye-catching than the thin towel.

She leaned over and tucked her hair behind her ear, letting a condensed drop of water fall upon the soft swell of her breast.

It slid past the creamy center.

Leaving a clear trail.

Yan Su braced one hand on the edge of the bed, her eyelashes fluttering to cover the desire in her eyes, and tilted her head slightly.

Lin Jianheng slowly looked up, not yet realizing what was happening.

Her entire field of vision was filled with brilliant apricot blossoms, fiery red roses, and enchanting blue roses.

It came with the sweetness of milk and amber, and the astringency of air-dried roses.

Only Yan Su’s face was cold and serene.

Suppressing the restlessness.

Lin Jianheng’s vision blurred; she could only see Yan Su’s face.

Yan Su was very beautiful. She had only appreciated this last night, knowing her succubus had hair more splendid than flowers under the moon, and eyes more brilliant than the sky and sea.

At such a close distance, Lin Jianheng discovered that Yan Su’s features were remarkably exquisite and elegant. Her skin was delicate and smooth, without any visible pores or blemishes.

As beautiful as if she had stepped out of a painting.

A certain string snapped.

Lin Jianheng, recalling it later, had no idea what she was thinking.

It seemed to be her competitive spirit from dinner acting up, or perhaps she was stunned by Yan Su’s beauty.

She… stuck out her tongue.

And licked the corner of Yan Su’s mouth.

There was a lingering drop of water there.

She only knew that she wanted to clean it off.

Lin Jianheng turned beet red.

For about half an hour, she didn’t move a muscle.

And Yan Su, seemingly shy as well, had hastily fled back to her own room after that, hiding who knows where.

After a long while, she finally recovered. It was already very late.

For once, Lin Jianheng didn’t go looking for Yan Su. She silently sent her a “good night” message and pulled the covers over her head.

Sleep. Once I’m asleep, I won’t have to think.

In any case, she couldn’t figure out what these complicated feelings were.

The next morning, for a change, Lin Jianheng didn’t wait for Yan Su to wake up.

She huffed and puffed as she finished making breakfast for two, then paced by the door.

If she had a tail right now, it would be whipping up to the sky.

“My- my sister is calling me. I’m heading out! Please tell Sister Yan for me, Butler, and remind her to eat lunch.”

Lin Jianheng glanced at her optical computer—her sister really was looking for her—and flew out the door.

She zipped past the neighbor’s renovation site, hastily greeting her neighbor, Meng Qinyi.

When she finally reached the office, Lin Jianheng had managed to coax herself into a better mood.

Sigh, Sister Yan can clean the corner of my mouth.

It’s nothing for us to lick each other, right? It just means we have a good relationship, like a pair of kittens or puppies.

Lin Jianheng sent a string of messages to Yan Su, the gist of which was to reassure her. She was just being held hostage by her hateful older sister (and her allowance), forced to obey the orders of this tyrannical chairman.

After sending the messages, Yan Su didn’t reply instantly, but Lin Jianheng felt a sense of relief.

She shook her arms, forcing down the tingling itch at the corner of her mouth.

Maybe Sister Yan is also sleeping.

When Jian Lingxuan called her to the office, Yan Su still hadn’t replied. Being cautious, Lin Jianheng sent a message to the AI Butler.

When she went today, Jian Lingxuan wasn’t in a meeting.

She was sitting upright and proper, seemingly focused on waiting for Lin Jianheng.

Lin Jianheng paused for a moment before entering, feeling a bit like she was walking to her doom.

Jian Lingxuan had probably, definitely, found her out.

There was no helping it; she really couldn’t be as scummy as the original owner.

Bad-tempered, and only friendly with her degenerate friends.

But Jian Lingxuan didn’t intend to talk about that. She just took her project proposal and began to teach her very seriously.

Lin Jianheng listened for a while and couldn’t help but marvel.

The hands-on teaching from her older sister, the miraculous chairman and business genius, was truly excellent.

Although she had worked seriously on the proposal, due to her “primitive person’s” perspective and unfamiliarity with the market, it still had many flaws.

Jian Lingxuan explained it to her in just a few words, and Lin Jianheng took notes on her optical computer.

Two hours passed just like that. During that time, Jian Lingxuan, for once, didn’t snipe at her.

This was the first time Lin Jianheng had gotten along so harmoniously with her older sister since transmigrating.

“Sister, you’re amazing.” This was also the first time Lin Jianheng had admired her from the bottom of her heart.

Before, the title of “genius” was just a title. Lin Jianheng’s only impression of Jian Lingxuan was that she liked to tease her for fun.

“Well, take a look at who your sister is.” Jian Lingxuan clearly enjoyed her younger sister’s praise.

It was at this moment that Lin Jianheng received an emergency notification.

【Warning! Abnormal vital signs detected for secondary cardholder Yan Su!】

Large, red characters flashed on her optical computer, and a projection also popped up from her phone.

She froze for a moment, then immediately stood up, not even having time to explain to Jian Lingxuan.

Jian Lingxuan had no choice but to chase after her, watching as Lin Jianheng headed downstairs like a madwoman.

“I’ll call a car for you! Are you going home?” Jian Lingxuan managed to get a sentence in.

Lin Jianheng didn’t speak. Before getting on the elevator, their eyes met for an instant, and Jian Lingxuan saw Lin Jianheng nod.

After the figure disappeared, Jian Lingxuan returned to her office in a daze.

She found the safe, unlocked it, and saw the paternity test inside.

There are clearly some things I should have told her.

Lin Jianheng practically burst through the door of her home, and in that instant, her feet were rooted to the spot.

She saw a dimly lit room.

The living room was gloomy, with two figures collapsed on the floor.

The blade of a knife glinted with a cold light, causing Lin Jianheng to break out in a cold sweat instantly.

And tears.

Uncontrollable.

She saw Yan Su pinned to the floor by the AI Butler.

A knife was pressed against her neck.

Lin Jianheng recognized that knife; she had used it when cooking with the AI Butler.

At the time, she had even praised the AI Butler’s skilled knife work.

Now, that same knife was placed against the person Lin Jianheng trusted most in this world.

Just an inch more, and it would slice through a fragile human throat.

“You, what are you doing!” Lin Jianheng shouted.

She didn’t dare provoke the AI Butler, yet she didn’t know how to handle this situation.

The other party was holding a hostage—her most important, most trusted, most cherished Yan Su.

Yan Su looked up, and upon seeing Lin Jianheng’s arrival, a light appeared in her eyes.

If Lin Jianheng is here, I’ll be safe, right?

Yan Su’s weak fingertips trembled. Her spiritual power was completely gone; she could only force her eyelids open to gaze at her greatest savior.

But that person’s expression suddenly changed.

Lin Jianheng realized she hadn’t made a sound at all.

Unable to control her body, “she” slowly walked forward.

An expression that absolutely did not belong to her appeared on her face—mocking, fearless, indifferent to life…

“She” came before Yan Su. The AI Butler knelt on the ground gratefully and offered her the knife.

“She” grabbed Yan Su by the collar.

“So you trust me this much, huh.” The same voice, devoid of emotion, came from “her” mouth.

“She” was the original owner.

This novel is incomplete and covers only the first volume of the story. The author had to start a new novel for the second volume due to JJWXC’s new guidelines, which would have negatively affected the original work’s ranking.

Unfortunately, malicious individuals sabotaged the new novel by falsely reporting it, forcing the author to remove and completely revise all second-volume chapters. They have not yet been republished. As a result, the complete story will not be available anytime soon. I am sharing this information so readers can manage their expectations.

However, if you are primarily interested in the main characters’ relationship and don’t mind an unresolved plot, I can assure you that you’re in for a treat.

This novel follows a different update schedule than my other translations. Because the chapters are unusually long, with some nearing 14,000 words, updates will be based on each chapter’s length.
