PSMD – Chapter 103

They naturally returned to Qiu Yang’s place. Pingzi’s litter box and other things were there. Yue Chu had thought it would be inconvenient to move large items like the litter box back and forth, and since Pingzi might stay with her again later, she simply bought her own litter box and litter.

Therefore, Pingzi’s belongings consisted only of a small suitcase containing food like cat kibble and wet food.

After getting out of the car, Qiu Yang carried the cat on her back and pulled one suitcase, while Shen Ningruo pulled two suitcases. With all their bags, they looked as if they had taken the cat on a long trip.

While waiting for the elevator, they happened to be next to a mother and her daughter. The little girl saw Pingzi being carried on Qiu Yang’s front and peeked at it several times. Unable to contain her curiosity, she called out to Qiu Yang, “Jiejie, what’s the little cat’s name?”

“It’s called Pangpang,” Qiu Yang replied, her voice gentle and soft.

Shen Ningruo knew that Qiu Yang liked well-behaved children. She even remembered asking Qiu Yang if she was well-behaved herself just two or three days after they first met.

What did Qiu Yang say back then?

Qiu Yang had said she wasn’t a child, but she hadn’t denied that she was well-behaved.

Recalling this, the corners of Shen Ningruo’s mouth couldn’t help but curve slightly. Although they weren’t close at all back then, thinking about it now felt very sweet.

The little girl smiled and said, “Pangpang? That name suits it so well.” After looking at Pingzi, she turned to her mother, “Mom, I really want to get a cat too.”

Just then, the elevator opened. The little girl’s mother gave Qiu Yang an awkward smile before lowering her head to respond to her daughter, “If you can get into the top ten in your grade for your final exams this semester, I’ll let you get a cat.”

The little girl’s eyes immediately lit up. “Okay!”

The elevator reached the first floor and a few more people got in. Qiu Yang and Shen Ningruo stood at the back, with two suitcases between them. Pingzi’s eyes were wide open, looking at the backs of people’s heads one moment and the lights the next.

The little girl and her mother had already left the elevator. After a few more floors, they reached Qiu Yang’s floor.

The other people in the elevator made space for them in the middle so they could get out easily.

Shen Ningruo pushed the suitcases and smiled, “I just remembered a video I saw online.”

“What video?”

Shen Ningruo took out her key from her bag and replied while opening the door, “There was a couple who met a little boy in the elevator. The little boy thought the dog was cute, so he called out to the female owner. He started by saying, ‘Auntie, this doggy…’ and so on.”

As Shen Ningruo reached this point, the door opened. Qiu Yang stepped forward and turned on the light, looking at Shen Ningruo’s smiling eyes. “And then?”

“Then the female owner wasn’t happy and said, ‘Call me Jiejie’.”

“The little boy immediately changed his address and said, ‘Auntie, this Jiejie…’ and so on.”

Qiu Yang let Pingzi out of the carrier bag. Listening to Shen Ningruo tell the funny story, the corners of her mouth also turned up. “That girl just called me Jiejie, and I really appreciated it.” She then looked at Shen Ningruo, “When I call you Jiejie, you appreciate it too.”

“Yes,” Shen Ningruo readily agreed.

“The only difference is, when I no longer care whether people call me Jiejie or Auntie, I can still continue to call you Jiejie.” Qiu Yang’s tone was serious. “Isn’t that right, Ruoruo Jiejie?”

“Of course it is,” Shen Ningruo replied, then raised her hands to cup Qiu Yang’s face, stroking her cheek with her thumbs. “Xiao Yang, how are you so good with words?”

Qiu Yang looked innocent. “Am I?”

“You are,” Shen Ningruo affirmed, leaning in to peck Qiu Yang’s lips again. “Very… enticing.”

Qiu Yang chuckled. “Ruoruo Jiejie, I didn’t do or say anything, how did I entice you?”

Shen Ningruo’s throat bobbed. She realized there was a term online that suited Qiu Yang perfectly.

That was “pure yet seductive.”

Qiu Yang had a well-behaved, fair face that usually made her look like she was just starting university. But looking closely at her eyes, her nose, her lips, and even her ears, Shen Ningruo would feel an urge to kiss them. What’s more, Qiu Yang’s expressions were so vivid.

And Qiu Yang had just added the suffix “ya” at the end, which couldn’t help but remind Shen Ningruo of the night Qiu Yang first called her “Ruoruo.” At that time, she was truly so stirred by Qiu Yang’s words that she almost lost control.

In short, Qiu Yang, for Shen Ningruo, naturally possessed the genes to bewitch her.

Leaving her nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

Shen Ningruo’s breathing softened slightly. Her hands cupping Qiu Yang’s face hadn’t dropped yet, maintaining the posture.

The light here was bright. She focused her gaze slightly and saw Qiu Yang’s lips pout slightly, pink and tender like a piece of jelly.

Shen Ningruo decided to have a taste.

She leaned in, her left arm around Qiu Yang’s waist, her right hand cupping the back of Qiu Yang’s head, pressing her against the cabinet. However, the cabinet here was much higher than the one in the guesthouse in Xicheng, so she couldn’t sit on it.

But that didn’t matter. Shen Ningruo pulled her slightly inward, and behind Qiu Yang was a smooth wall.

Shen Ningruo’s tongue had already explored Qiu Yang’s mouth. Remembering so many past events today, Shen Ningruo’s heart felt soft and tender, and the taste in her mouth was sweet and fragrant, making her even more captivated.

Qiu Yang’s waist was held by Shen Ningruo. The moment she knew Shen Ningruo was going to kiss her, she cooperatively raised her arms and placed her palms on Shen Ningruo’s shoulders. Shen Ningruo’s hand was protecting the back of her head to prevent her from bumping it.

The kiss lasted for a while, but it wasn’t as clumsy as before. Now, both of them were skilled kissers. Whether it was teasing, pressing, or other exchanges, they could breathe smoothly.

Pingzi squatted beside the empty cat bowl. It was hungry now, but its two mothers didn’t know how long they were going to hug and kiss. It sighed deeply, then jumped onto the cat tree. Only when it saw the two separate did it let out a dissatisfied “Meow.”

Qiu Yang buried her face in the side of Shen Ningruo’s neck, her arms now wrapped around Shen Ningruo, steadying her slightly panting breath. Shen Ningruo’s chin rested on her forehead. Hearing Pingzi’s meow, she was about to speak when her forehead felt the movement from Shen Ningruo speaking, “Pangpang, I remember you ate dinner. You had meat at Yue Chu’s place.”

Pingzi: “Meow.”

Qiu Yang laughed softly. “It gets hungry quickly. I’ll go add some cat food for it.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she tried to pull away from Shen Ningruo’s embrace.

But Shen Ningruo didn’t let her. She held her tighter with a little more force—

“The cat is hungry, you’ll add cat food for it.”

“Then I’m hungry, what will Xiao Yang feed me?”

Qiu Yang pursed her lips, tentatively replying, “Then I’ll make you a meal…?”

“What do you think?” Shen Ningruo chuckled softly. “Trying to get away with it? It’s not that easy. I haven’t collected the balance due yet.”

Shen Ningruo paused here, then gave Qiu Yang a new address. “Ba…by.”

They had never used this common term of endearment between lovers before. Of course, neither of them had used it with anyone else before either. The moment Shen Ningruo said it, a strange feeling arose in her heart.

Maybe this address wasn’t bad either?

No wonder other couples liked calling each other that so much.

But Qiu Yang didn’t say anything. Shen Ningruo realized this and quickly cupped Qiu Yang’s head, checking if Qiu Yang felt uncomfortable or uneasy. Instead, she saw a layer of pink on Qiu Yang’s cheeks and the corners of her eyes.

“What are you looking at?” Qiu Yang turned her gaze away, not daring to look at her, but her long eyelashes trembled slightly. “Why did you suddenly change how you address me?”

Shen Ningruo’s eyes curved into a smile. “Can’t I?”

“…You can.”

“Then look at me.”

Qiu Yang looked at Shen Ningruo as told, meeting Shen Ningruo’s eyes filled with a gentle smile. “What is it?”

“Director Shen,” she even cleared her throat.

Shen Ningruo shook her head. “Nothing. Go feed Pangpang, then wash your hair and take a shower.”

“Okay.”

Qiu Yang went into the bathroom shortly after. Shen Ningruo sat on the sofa outside, staring at Pingzi.

“Did you miss me these past few days?” Shen Ningruo started communicating with the cat again.

Pingzi sat upright next to Shen Ningruo. Hearing the question, it tilted its head, looking confused.

Shen Ningruo: “…”

“You’re not even going to meow now, are you?”

“Meow.”

Shen Ningruo took a few freeze-dried treats from the jar as a reward. “Eat up.”

“I missed you too, Pangpang.”

Pingzi was busy eating the freeze-dried treats and didn’t care that Shen Ningruo was saying “bad things” about it.

Shen Ningruo’s thoughts, however, shifted, her mind filled with Qiu Yang’s shy look just now, which made her lips and tongue feel a little dry.

Fortunately, Qiu Yang’s period was over.

In Xicheng, Qiu Yang had let Shen Ningruo enjoy the night view again. Besides that, there was another night when she let her sit by the bed…

And the previous times in the bathroom and on the chair. Shen Ningruo remembered all these “debts,” and remembered them very clearly.

She glanced at the closed bathroom door, then picked up the cup and drank half a glass of water.

She wasn’t just going to collect the balance due; she was going to collect the debts too.
