PCMWF Chapter 56

Mi Huan and Mi Le

Thank youuu Huhlex for the Ko-Fi <3

The little one held tightly onto the long-eared gray bunny his little Daddy had made for him, his small body pressing close to his big brother. This was the first time he had encountered a child who would snatch things, and he was terrified. Shen Yan’s face darkened as he was about to say something when someone got into the car.

“Hey, you’re not allowed to snatch a little kid’s toy!” A boy with round eyes boarded the car, hands on his hips, loudly scolding Cen Yuankai’s behavior.

“I don’t care! I want that bunny! It’s my bunny!”

The situation was about to escalate. Shen Yan, already displeased, scooped up Su Youli’s little bottom and got out of the car.

“Please give us another vehicle. My little brother isn’t comfortable in this environment,” Shen Yan said coldly to the camera.

As a public figure, Shen Yan wasn’t foolish enough to yell at a bratty child at the very start of the show. He was much more cautious now and wouldn’t give the trolls a chance to accuse him of bullying a child. The crew hadn’t expected Cen Yuankai to be so domineering. Not only was there none of the harmony they had imagined among the four families, but they had nearly become enemies.

Seeing Su Youli leave, Cen Yuankai threw himself on the ground and started rolling around, demanding the gray long-eared bunny. There was no choice. In the end, a crew member had to bring a Transformer to calm him down. The boy with round eyes snorted, refusing to share a car with Cen Yuankai either. He dragged his brother out of the car and came over to the Shen brothers.

“Hello, Shen Laoshi. My name is Mi Huan, and this is my younger brother, Mi Le. Lele, say hello.”

The young man speaking had a shy smile and a soft voice. Su Youli naturally liked people who spoke gently. He looked up at him twice.

Lele’s eyes lit up when he saw the little white dumpling that was Su Youli. He said generously, “Hello, little brother. I’m Lele. What’s your name?”

Su Youli, sitting on Shen Yan’s lap and clutching his gray bunny, said, “My name is Su Youli.”

“Su Youli, how old are you? I’m five! I’m in Middle Class Two!”

Su Youli stared at the talkative little brother in front of him, pressed his lips together, and said, “I’m three and a half. I don’t go to school yet.”

“You can call me Lele gege. I’m older than you!”

As he spoke, Mi Le had already scurried in front of Su Youli and, in a proper manner, reached out his little hand to shake.

Su Youli reached out his small hand and whispered, “Lele gege.”

Mi Huan was exasperated by his socially fearless younger brother. He kept tugging at him, trying to rein him in. Su Youli was clearly a shy child, and he was afraid Mi Le would scare him.

“Brother, stop tugging me. You’re interrupting my conversation with the little brother.”

Mi Huan nearly banged his head on the ground in frustration, his face pale. “Sorry, Shen Laoshi. My younger brother is just very outgoing… He gets excited when he sees other children.”

Shen Yan waved his hand. He was actually quite happy to see Su Youli making new friends. The two cars slowly headed toward their destination. Lele and Su Youli were separated by their two older brothers. The little extrovert Mi Le still managed to talk to Su Youli over the two brothers, asking what cartoons he watched, if he liked chocolate—he had secretly brought two packs of chocolate pieces today.

Su Youli hid behind Shen Yan, peeking out with one eye. After a long moment, curiosity about his new friend overcame everything else. A small hand reached out from behind Shen Yan and took the chocolate piece Mi Le offered. The two older brothers discussed it and moved the two little ones between them so they could talk more easily.

After half an hour’s journey, Mi Le decided that Youyou was now his good friend. When they got out of the car, Mi Le took Su Youli’s hand, wanting to lead him off to get revenge on Cen Yuankai.

“Lele gege, no fighting.” Su Youli stopped walking and stood obediently by the door, waiting for his big brother.

“…Alright, I’ll listen to you this time. My brother said if I fight, there are cameras that will film me and send the video to my mom, and then I’ll have to go home and eat bamboo shoots fried with meat.”

Su Youli’s eyes lit up. He knew bamboo shoots fried with meat well. Yang Yang gege ate that often, too.

“Lele gege, are bamboo shoots fried with meat tasty?” The little one licked his lips.

Mi Le rubbed his bottom, the memory of his last spanking still vivid.

“Not tasty at all. My mom and dad each have a little stick, and they almost spanked my bottom until it bloomed into flowers.”

Su Youli turned to look at Mi Le’s bottom, thinking, So bottoms can bloom into flowers? How amazing.

What color flowers would bloom? All four families had arrived and gotten to know each other. Xiancheng was indeed colder than Beicheng, and the air was more humid. Su Youli put on a light jacket when he got out of the car, held his brother’s hand, and stood obediently listening to the director’s speech. Shen Yan noticed that their destination wasn’t a city, but a picturesque little village.

The village was called “Nianbai Village,” a model village nearby with smooth roads and cleanliness. Su Youli rather liked this place. He thought it looked a bit like Yunshui Town. After the process of confiscating snacks and toys was completed, the four families drew lots to decide where they would be staying.

Shen Yan led Su Youli over. The little one reached out and drew a card. On the card was a map with a red dot next to a drawing of neatly stacked firewood against a wall. Mi Le and Niu Niu also drew cards. After exchanging a few pleasantries, they split up to find their accommodations.

“Waaah—I don’t want to! You can’t take my toys!”

Su Youli, holding his big brother’s hand, turned his little face back to look. The child who had tried to snatch his toy earlier was rolling on the ground, getting himself all dirty. Also, his crying face was dirty, and he was so loud. Su Youli was a bit afraid of such a domineering child. He pressed close to his big brother.

Shen Yan patted his head. “Youyou handed over his toys all by himself just now. That’s great.”

The little one had really been reluctant to give up his toys. He slept with them every night at home. But he was here to be a little adventurer. Little adventurers couldn’t play with toys. And it was only for two nights. Two days would pass quickly.

Su Youli knew that his big brother would stay with him, and Brother Xiao Tang, who was mingling in the crowd, was also always with him. The little one’s sense of security came from the love of his family, so he wasn’t scared, nor did he cry and fuss like Cen Yuankai.

Mi Le looked down on Cen Yuankai’s behavior. “He’s already five. He thinks he’s still two or three years old. Hmph.”

Mi Huan clamped his hand over Mi Le’s mouth. Shut up, little ancestor.

After walking for a while, the three families had to part ways. Mi Huan smiled and said goodbye to Du Ze and Shen Yan, then left with Mi Le. Mi Le was very reluctant to leave Youyou, looking back every few steps. Su Youli also turned his head to look at him, raising his little arm to say goodbye.

The village roads were a bit long. Shen Yan kept turning his head to ask Su Youli if he wanted to be carried. Su Youli, carrying a very light Stitch backpack, shook his head and said softly that he didn’t want to be carried. A little adventurer had to walk on his own. Following the route, the two finally stopped in front of a small courtyard whose eaves were piled high with firewood.
