INHA Chapter 57

Where is she?

Moonlit: Hello everyone~ My classes will be starting soon. So, I decided to schedule chapter releases for the series I’m working on. For this series, 2 chapters will be released on weekdays at 4 am (GMT+8).

As for weekends, I would still upload chapters but there’s no guarantee on how many. It could be only 1 chapter or a mass update ദ്ദി(。•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊

And sorry for not updating much these past few days, I was down with a fever.

Tian Haomiao stood there, his back drenched in cold sweat. A sudden sense of dread welled up in his heart.

When did the other person enter the room? Why hadn’t he noticed at all?

The main point was that this was the living room, with hardly any places to hide. So how did the other person manage to take this photo without being noticed?

Tian Haomiao slowly turned around, his heart tightening. There was no sign of anyone in sight, so he relaxed a little and quickly picked up his phone to analyze the photo carefully.

In the end, he came to a conclusion—the photo was likely taken from a diagonal position. However, there was nothing in that direction except for… the bedroom door.

Tian Haomiao’s heart skipped a beat again as he slowly walked toward the bedroom. He pushed open the half-closed door. The light was on inside, but the bright light did nothing to ease his tension; instead, it made him feel even more creeped out.

He quickly searched the bedroom, then approached the curtains and yanked them open—still, no one was there. His throat was dry as he slowly walked toward the wardrobe and opened it. There was still no one inside.

Tian Haomiao felt even more terrified now. The only place left unchecked was under the bed, but he no longer dared to bend down and look. He could only send a message to the person on his phone.

【Where are you? Stop messing around. This is really scary.】

The bedroom was eerily quiet, with no notification sound indicating that the other person had received the message.

Tian Haomiao couldn’t help but imagine the person hiding under the bed, staring at his feet with the phone on silent.

Ding—

Tian Haomiao’s phone chimed, the screen lighting up. It was a message from that girl.

【First Meeting】: You told me to come find you. Are you not satisfied?

【First Meeting】: Are you not satisfied?

Tian Haomiao screamed in fear, but then, out of nowhere, he found the courage to quickly walk over and lift the bedsheet to take a look under the bed.

It was completely empty.

He let out a huge sigh of relief and even found the situation amusing. He had actually been scared by the other person.

But then his smile froze. If the person wasn’t under the bed, then how was that photo taken?

Was there an invisible person in his house?!!!

But how could that be possible?

Tian Haomiao immediately dismissed his absurd thought and sent another message to the person: 【Alright, since you say you’re in my house, how about coming to the living room to eat?】

【First Meeting】: When will you write the title song? I’ve already done everything I can for you.

Tian Haomiao was confused for a few seconds before he suddenly remembered the meaning behind the person’s words. He had mentioned before that he only needed a title song to complete his album. Then, the person asked what they could do to help him, and he said he wanted to meet them.

But the problem was, the person never came.

Tian Haomiao sent another message: 【But I haven’t seen you.】

The other person was silent for a few seconds before suddenly sending Tian Haomiao a photo. He immediately perked up and clicked on it. It was a slightly blurry selfie.

The background was pitch black, with only a faint glimmer of light visible. Her face, stunningly beautiful, was turned toward the camera, her eyes glowing with an eerie light. Her skin was deathly pale, devoid of any color, and her long black hair flowed smoothly down.

Tian Haomiao’s heart raced as he stared at the photo for several seconds. Then, another *ding* sounded as she sent him a message.

【First Meeting】: You’ve already seen me. When will you write the title song and release it for more people to hear?
