Lu Yao had returned without Yu Le realizing it. He affectionately embraced Yu Le from behind and kissed his neck tenderly.
Yu Le’s neck and ears were extremely sensitive; even the slightest touch was overwhelming, let alone this kind of intimate kissing. It made his back tingle, and his previously pale neck turned red.
“What are you watching?” Lu Yao asked in a low voice by his ear, gently rubbing his nose against Yu Le’s ear.
Yu Le softly mentioned a name, “It’s recommended by Wen Yuan. He said it’s good.”
Lu Yao didn’t seem to care about the answer. His kiss moved to Yu Le’s cheek, leaving Yu Le breathless and unable to focus on the TV anymore. When he turned his head, he was met with Lu Yao’s eager intentions.
Lu Yao took his lips slowly, savoring them, and soon grew unsatisfied with just the surface level. He deepened the kiss, gradually consuming Yu Le’s senses.
By the time Yu Le realized what was happening, he had gone from being turned away from Lu Yao to lying on his back, fully surrendering to Lu Yao’s passionate kiss.
The setting sun cast a faint, reddish light on their profiles.
Yu Le’s eyelashes, tinted rust-red, fluttered like a butterfly trapped on a windowsill. Whenever he had a brief moment to catch his breath, his swollen, slightly parted lips reflected a gleaming, watery light.
He clung to Lu Yao’s neck, his mind turning to mush, his legs involuntarily pressing lightly against Lu Yao’s waist.
When the phone rang, Yu Le still hadn’t fully grasped what was happening.
It wasn’t until a lively “Brother!” came through the earpiece, like a breath of fresh mint clearing away the romantic haze, that Yu Le’s brain finally cleared.
“Hmm, what is it?”
Lu Yao casually responded to Lu Xingxing, finding Yu Le’s incredulous expression adorable. He couldn’t help but lower his head to kiss Yu Le’s eyes.
“Why is the math test paper you gave me like this?” Lu Xingxing complained. “The solutions to the big problems at the end are incomplete. I specifically said not to omit steps. What’s the difference between this and just flipping through the reference answers?”
“I wrote down everything I could.”
Lu Yao answered lazily, his mouth never resting as he continued to kiss and nuzzle Yu Le like a large dog: “If you can’t even fill in those steps, it’s better to let Mom enroll you in a cram school.”
Yu Le wasn’t as thick-skinned as Lu Yao. Although he knew his sister couldn’t see him, he still felt a bit uncomfortable and tried to push him away.
Lu Yao took advantage of his thick-skinned nature, kissing the palm of Yu Le’s hand and then leaning down to kiss his cheek as Yu Le quickly withdrew his hand and turned his head away.
“Who says I can’t make it up? I don’t want to go to a cram school!”
The sound of pages turning came from Lu Xingxing’s end, accompanied by a palpable frustration that was almost tangible through the screen. It was easy to guess she was currently frustrated with her test paper.
“I really envy you, not having to take exams or do homework, just leisurely running up the mountain.”
Lu Yao: “You can come after your exams; it’ll be the same.”
Yu Le had given up struggling. Fine, whatever. He couldn’t win against a thigh, so lying flat and letting himself be taken advantage of was his only option.
Lu Xingxing, however, was quite excited: “Hey, Brother, how’s the mountain this year? Is it the same as the previous years?”
“It’s fun this year,” Lu Yao replied.
Lu Xingxing: “Oh? What’s so good about it?”
“Everything’s good.” Lu Yao lightly bit Yu Le’s neck.
Yu Le couldn’t help but take a short breath.
Lu Xingxing: “Hmm? What’s that sound? Brother, is someone next to you?”
Lu Yao looked at Yu Le, who had wide, glaring eyes saying: Dare to say there’s someone here and you won’t get another kiss!
Lu Yao smiled and gave a negative answer, “No one.”
Lu Xingxing: “Then what was that sound?”
Lu Yao: “I accidentally stepped on the cat’s tail.”
Lu Xingxing: “Huh? Da Huang?”
Lu Yao: “No.”
“Wow,” Lu Xingxing exclaimed, “A new cat! What color is it? Is it pretty?”
Lu Yao looked at Yu Le: “White, very pretty.”
Yu Le rolled his eyes at Lu Yao, and Lu Yao laughed silently, gently scratching his chin to comfort him.
Lu Xingxing: “I want to see it! Brother, take a picture and show me!”
Lu Yao: “Not right now; he’s shy.”
He got kicked in the shin right after.
“Huh??” Lu Xingxing was flustered: “Why would a cat be shy? Are you kidding me??”
Lu Yao: “Maybe later. Is there anything else?”
Lu Xingxing: “Not really, just a bit bored. Are you going to be busy?”
Lu Yao hummed in response.
Lu Xingxing: “What could you possibly be busy with?”
“I said I stepped on the cat’s tail,” Lu Yao replied calmly, “He’s upset, so I need to comfort him.”
Lu Xingxing: “……???”
As soon as the call ended, Yu Le bit Lu Yao’s shoulder. “You’re talking nonsense.”
Lu Yao flipped him over and had him lying on top of him, “Are you angry?”
Yu Le lay on his chest, ignoring him.
Lu Yao: “Little cat Yu?”
“……”
Yu Le: “You’re the little cat, Little cat Lu.”
Lu Yao had no objections. He didn’t mind what Yu Le called him, as long as it wasn’t a scoundrel cat.
“Dinner is in half an hour,” Lu Yao said.
Yu Le: “Oh.”
Lu Yao: “Another half hour of kissing?”
Yu Le: “……”
Lu Yao’s plan didn’t work out. Yu Le received a call from Mr. Song’s assistant, informing him that his work had been selected and asking him to visit Mr. Song to discuss collaboration details.
Yu Le asked when.
Assistant: “Mr. Yu, if it’s convenient, please come in the next couple of days. Mr. Song will be flying abroad soon and will be there for at least half a month.”
“Alright,” Yu Le said, “I’ll come over in the next two days. Please notify him.”
Assistant: “No problem. Just let me know a day in advance when you’re coming.”
Yu Le: “Okay, thank you.”
“Are you going back?” Lu Yao asked, having overheard.
Yu Le nodded.
Lu Yao: “Xuan City?”
Yu Le: “No, I need to go back to Wu City.”
Lu Yao: “When will you return?”
Yu Le: “Hmm… maybe tomorrow.”
Mr. Song was flying abroad soon, and Yu Le was worried about not making it in time if he waited longer. “Will you take me?”
Lu Yao hugged him and sat up. “I’ll take you to Xuan City.”
Early the next morning, the two of them set off from Daiwa Town to Xuan City Airport.
After about a five-hour drive, they left at nine o’clock and arrived at two in the afternoon, during the hottest part of the day. Even through the glass, the sunlight was blinding.
“It’s a bit strange getting used to being back after staying on the mountain for so long.”
Yu Le unfastened his seatbelt. He opened the car door, hesitated for two seconds, then shut it with a thud.
Lu Yao: “What’s wrong?”
Yu Le, still in shock, “It’s so hot outside. Give me a moment to prepare mentally.”
Unfortunately, his flight time didn’t allow him to stay outside for long.
Two minutes later, he took a deep breath and quickly opened and closed the door in one go. The scorching air immediately dissipated the cool air he had in the car, making him feel like his head was smoking.
Lu Yao also got out of the car, carrying a black sun umbrella. He walked around to Yu Le’s side and opened the umbrella to shield him from the sun, handing it to him.
It was a bit more bearable.
“I’m leaving now, Mr. Lu.” He took the umbrella, waved at Lu Yao, “You’ll have to spend the next two days alone.”
Lu Yao replied lightly, “Mm.”
Yu Le walked a short distance into the terminal, then turned back to see Lu Yao still casually leaning against the tall car, watching him.
Tall and handsome, standing there like a car model, people passing by, regardless of gender, couldn’t help but glance twice.
Naturally, Yu Le couldn’t resist the temptation either. He quickly walked back to him and hugged him tightly.
Yu Le complained, “I almost forgot again. Why didn’t you remind me?”
Lu Yao embraced him, his tone light, “I knew you’d remember.”
Yu Le smiled, “Alright, I’ll be back soon. Mr. Lu, don’t miss me too much.”
Lu Yao: “No rush.”

Yu Le sighed, planting a firm kiss on his face:
“If you didn’t hold on so tightly, I might have believed you!”
