Lu Shiran arrived home at half past twelve.

 

He pushed open the door to a brightly lit living room. Lu Xingmian was sitting on the sofa. He looked back expectantly when he heard the door open, and when he saw Lu Shiran, his eyes lit up. He quickly went forward and said, “Ge, you’re back.”

 

Lu Shiran was stunned. “You’ve been waiting in the living room this whole time?”

 

Lu Xingmian said, “I can’t sleep by myself.” He was used to Lu Shiran accompanying him to sleep every night, so with him not at home, Lu Xingmian definitely couldn’t sleep.

“I’ll go get you a glass of water.” Lu Xingmian felt like he had gotten himself tangled up in his own words and quickly ran to the kitchen to pour water.

 

As he walked past Lu Shiran, Lu Shiran saw his reddened ears. This kid was shy again.

“I didn’t drink much, so I’m not tired.”

Lu Xingmian said, “En, the results will be out tomorrow morning.”

 

“Are you nervous?”

After hanging up, Lu Shiran called Butler Hou and asked him to have some fresh ingredients sent to his apartment; there was seafood, beef, and everything. Lu Shiran thought for a moment and also asked Uncle Hou to send over a bottle of the treasured red wine from the villa.

 

Today was indeed a happy day.

He only poured a small amount into each glass.

 

The two glasses clinked softly in the air, making a crisp sound.

 

Lu Xingmian asked him, “What day is it today? You made so much delicious food.”

 

Lu Shiran said, “It’s to celebrate you getting into Yancheng University in advance.”

 

Lu Xingmian smiled. “The score is out, but I haven’t gotten the acceptance letter yet.”

 

Lu Shiran said, “There’s absolutely no problem.”

 

This was the first time Lu Xingmian had red wine, and it felt different from beer. After finishing one glass, he didn’t feel anything; it was like drinking juice.

Lu Xingmian didn’t believe him. “I don’t feel anything right now. How could I get drunk? I can drink three bottles of beer.”

Lu Shiran sighed helplessly, “I told you that red wine could get you drunk too.”

Lust filled Lu Shiran’s eyes. “Lu Xingmian, do you know that you have to take responsibility after kissing someone?”

 

Lu Xingmian was stunned, pushed him away, and said a little dejectedly, “Then I won’t kiss you. I can’t take responsibility. Ge, I don’t have anything.”

Lu Shiran was like a ferocious beast, constantly invading Lu Xingmian’s territory, occupying it step by step. His previous patience, restraint, and gentlemanly demeanor were all gone as he pulled Lu Xingmian into his territory, bit by bit.

 

Their noses touched, and their warm breaths intertwined.

 

As he kissed him, Lu Shiran gazed greedily at Lu Xingmian. His long eyelashes fluttered like the wings of a butterfly.

 

Lu Shiran’s kisses trailed down, landing on Lu Xingmian’s neck. Lu Xingmian gripped his shirt tightly.

 

It wasn’t until Lu Shiran kissed Lu Xingmian’s ear stud that Lu Xingmian couldn’t help but let out a soft sound.

 

Lu Shiran paused for a moment and then kissed Lu Xingmian’s lips again.

 

“Lu Xingmian, I love you.”
