Coming home, Lu Shiran placed Lu Xingmian on the sofa and made him some honey water, checking the date on the honey to make sure it hadn’t expired.
After drinking the honey water, Lu Xingmian felt much more comfortable and less dizzy.
When he handed the cup to Lu Shiran, he suddenly asked, “Ge, you won’t leave again tonight, will you?”

Lu Xingmian tilted his head back, his long, elegant neck looking dazzlingly white. In his tipsy state, he said very generously, “No problem, I’ll definitely wear one for you when I get the chance.”
A faint red light appeared in Lu Shiran’s eyes, and he said in a low voice, “Zai Zai, you said it yourself.”

Xie Jiaze quietly asked, “Is Lu Xingmian not awake yet? He was drunk yesterday, is he okay now?”
Lu Shiran: “He’s fine.”
Xie Jiaze: “Is Lu Xingmian moving out today?”
Lu Shiran: “Yep.”
Lu Xingmian’s voice came from the room: “Ge, what’s wrong?”
He seemed to have been woken up. His voice was a little hoarse from just waking up, with an indescribable closeness.
Lu Shiran replied softly, “It’s nothing.”
Then he glanced at Xie Jiaze, who awkwardly said, “I’ll go back downstairs now.”

Now, though, Lu Shiran was there with him, helping pack. Together, they worked for a while and filled up a large suitcase.
Lu Shiran was the one carrying the big suitcase.
What took both of Lu Xingmian’s hands to lift, Lu Shiran could easily carry with just his left. His strength was remarkable.
Before leaving, Lu Xingmian said goodbye to the grandma downstairs, telling her that he was moving out and thanking her family for taking care of him over the past year.
Hearing that Lu Xingmian was leaving, the grandma was a little sad. She held Lu Xingmian’s hand and told him to be well and to take good care of himself.
As they were leaving, Lu Xingmian looked back at the building behind him. He had lived there for a year and was truly a little sad to go.
Lu Shiran rubbed his head. “Zai Zai, let’s go.”
Lu Xingmian hummed in agreement, silently saying goodbye in his heart. Although he was reluctant, he was now heading towards a new and unknown direction.

Early September was the day for new student registration.
On the day of registration, Lu Shiran drove Lu Xingmian to the school gate.
Before Lu Xingmian got out of the car, he asked again, “Zai Zai, are you sure you don’t need me to go with you?”
Lu Shiran had asked this question at least ten times already.
Lu Xingmian smiled. “No need, I can handle it myself.”
Lu Shiran: “Okay, go for it, Lu Xingmian.”
Lu Shiran watched Lu Xingmian walk into the university campus, feeling incredibly proud.
With the help of senior students, Lu Xingmian quickly completed all the registration procedures.
University students are generally required to live in school dorms, but Lu Xingmian had applied to be a day student, so he wouldn’t be staying on campus.
A lot of students came with their parents, hauling big suitcases along with smaller bags. It was rare to see a new student like Lu Xingmian who only had a backpack.
After registering, Lu Xingmian walked around the school to get familiar with the environment.
His easygoing appearance led many parents of new students to ask him for directions. Lu Xingmian told them he was also a new student and wasn’t very familiar with the area. Both the students and parents looked at him, as his light packing really didn’t make him look like a new student.
Yancheng University’s military training schedule was different from other schools; it took place during the first-year summer vacation.
While walking around, Lu Xingmian sent a few photos to Lu Shiran, letting him know that he had successfully registered.
Lu Shiran smiled at his phone. Lu Xingmian was very capable, having finished all the procedures so quickly.
As he was looking at the photos Lu Xingmian had sent, he got a call from Lu Yu.
Lu Yu cleared his throat on the phone, sounding a little guilty. “Lu Shiran, I need to apologize for something first.”
Lu Shiran: “What is it?”
Lu Yu: “I’m really sorry, but I accidentally let it slip in front of Mom and Dad. They know you have a boyfriend now.”
Lu Shiran just said, “Oh.” It wasn’t something to be ashamed of.
Lu Yu said, “They want to meet Lu Xingmian.”
