Chapter 001 The Young Master – “Shit, this is too fantasy, isn’t it?” (01/35)
“Let’s play a little longer, Young Master Shi!”
“Yeah, don’t leave so early, Young Master Shi!”
“It’s still early! Why are you leaving so soon, Young Master Shi? The night has just begun!”
In the long corridor, the doors of a luxurious private room swung open, and seven or eight people surrounded a young man when he stepped out.
The young man was handsome, with almond-shaped eyes that sparkled with a seductive glow, giving him a unique charm.
Unfortunately, the moment he spoke, all his charm vanished. “Get lost!” The young man laughed and scolded. “Do you know what ‘a moment of spring night is worth a thousand pieces of gold’[mfn]A spring night is worth a thousand gold. This idiom comes from the poem ” Spring Night ” by Su Shi of the Song Dynasty . The original text is: “A spring night is worth a thousand gold. The flowers are fragrant and the moon is gloomy .” It means that the scenery of spring nights is beautiful, but it is short and worth cherishing. Later extended to mean a blessing to newlyweds, urging them to cherish their wedding night. — Baidu[/mfn] means? I’ve finally been released from my curfew, so I don’t have time to waste with you guys.
“Get lost! All of you, get away from me! You’re annoying!”
“Shi Shao[mfn]Pinyin for young master, I switched between the two for flow. In my head, I can hear teenagers/young adults saying “young master” with a sneer but “shao” respectfully[/mfn] hasn’t left yet, and you’re already complaining that we’re annoying?”
“That’s right, we’re just a bunch of rough men. How can we compare to that delicate young lady?”
The crowd around them laughed and cheered, and three of them exchanged glances, seeing excitement in each other’s eyes.
“You know you can’t compare, so why bother talking so much?” Shi Jingge[mfn]Shi Jingge 时 景 歌 时 Shí surname Shi 景 jǐng bright; circumstance; scenery 歌 gē song; CL:支[zhi1],首[shou3]; to sing[/mfn] took a few steps back, creating some distance between himself and the others, and laughed. “Hurry up and get lost, don’t dirty my eyes!”
Just then, the private room next to Shi Jingge suddenly opened, and someone bumped into him.
Shi Jingge stumbled sideways, but his two assistants quickly grabbed him, preventing him from falling to the ground.
“Damn it!” Shi Jingge turned around and cursed. “Who the hell hit me—”
The girl lying on the ground looked at him pitifully, and Shi Jingge’s voice trailed off. He knelt down, looking quite interested, and asked, “You’re not bad-looking. What’s your name?”
At the same time, several people walked out of the private room. The girl on the ground closed her eyes in despair, her heart as dead as a stone.
“Hey, kid, know your place and get out of here,” a rough voice suddenly rang out, filled with anger, “or don’t blame me for being rude!”
Shi Jingge’s two assistants stepped forward simultaneously, shielding him. Shi Jingge slowly stood up. The man was about to explode with rage when he heard Shi Jingge say casually, “Who are you talking to?”
“Damn it!” The man had only uttered a few words when he saw Shi Jingge push aside his two assistants and stand in front of him.
Upon seeing Shi Jingge’s face, he shivered and swallowed the rest of his words.
That face—he recognized that face!
Wasn’t that Shi Jingge, the young master of the Shi family?
Everyone in the circle knew that the young master of the Shi family was handsome but had a heart of stone and was ruthless, disregarding all rules and principles. He was a little devil who couldn’t be provoked!
“Misunderstanding, it’s a misunderstanding,” the man bowed his head and apologized repeatedly. “I didn’t recognize you. I really didn’t expect to meet Young Master Shi here.”
“What, do I have to report to you every time I go somewhere?” Shi Jingge snorted coldly.
The man shivered and almost knelt before Shi Jingge. Even if he had ten times the courage, he wouldn’t dare to entertain such thoughts!
“Young Master,” an assistant whispered in Shi Jingge’s ear, “this is Hua Mingyi, a member of Zhaoxing’s girl group MX.”
“Huh?”
“Yes.” The assistant thought for a moment. “She’s the only female guest who has won MVP on that game show.”
“Oh, that’s who she is.”
The man was still apologizing, but Shi Jingge didn’t bother to say much. He just pointed at the girl and asked, “Is she your person?”
The man dared not speak. He only shook his head frantically.
Although he’d been eyeing this little beauty for a long time and even made arrangements with her agent, he knew that she was in desperate need of money and would be easy to get his hands on now. She had always refused to accompany anyone for drinks before, but now she was here to do just that.
But… how dare he compete with Young Master Shi for her?
“Alright, from now on, she’s mine.” Shi Jingge stared at the man. “Any objections?”
The man dared not. He bowed and looked elsewhere as they escorted her away.
He felt a bit resentful just watching Shi Jingge and his group leave.
“Mr. Zhang.” Someone came out of the private room and tried to persuade him. “That young master isn’t someone we can afford to offend. It’s better to just let it go.”
“I heard that a few days ago, he even kidnapped someone Mr. Wu had his eye on, and Mr. Wu had no choice but to swallow his pride and accept it.”
Mr. Zhang sighed. “Why are we so unlucky to run into him?”
The man patted Mr. Zhang on the shoulder in consolation. “But the young master really is a womanizer as rumored.”
“You’re telling me,” Mr. Zhang muttered angrily. “He only saw her once and was already so eager to take her back. What kind of decent girl could she be?”
The man smiled. “That’s exactly what we want. Once someone like him gets his hands on her, she’ll know how great you are.”
Mr. Zhang thought about it and realized that the young master’s reputation was far from stellar. If Hua Mingyi fell into such a person’s hands, who knew what kind of misery she would have to endure?
He realized that Hua Mingyi would have a hard time, and his mood instantly improved.
Hua Mingyi was indeed experiencing a lot of inner turmoil at the moment.
Who was this “Shi Shao” that everyone was so afraid of?
Who could make Mr. Zhang, that hypocritical bastard, bow and grovel like that?
It could only be Shi Jingge, the notorious playboy of the upper circles.
For a moment, Hua Mingyi didn’t know whether it was better to fall into Mr. Zhang’s hands or Shi Jingge’s.
Hua Mingyi was dazed as she was pushed into the car. She curled up in a corner, not daring to say a word.
She had thought she’d be toyed with and humiliated, but to her surprise, Shi Jingge didn’t say a word.
Since Shi Jingge didn’t talk, no one else did either, and the car was extremely quiet.
Only the assistant who had introduced Hua Mingyi to Shi Jingge took out his cell phone and fiddled with it for a while before quickly putting it away.
Hua Mingyi plucked up her courage and glanced at Shi Jingge, only to find that he had his eyes closed. She couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
The smell of alcohol in the car was quite strong. He must have drunk a lot as well.
So maybe she could get away today?
A glimmer of hope arose in Hua Mingyi’s heart.
At that moment, Shi Jingge was receiving plot information from the system.
He was a task executor. As long as he completed his tasks, he could accumulate energy. When he had enough energy, he could return to his own world and be resurrected.
This world was his first task.
The person he had possessed was a promiscuous young master who indulged in his desires, “keeping” one little lover after another, both male and female. He also liked to steal other people’s lovers, cause trouble, and took pleasure in seeing them in difficult situations. Because of this, he had caused a lot of trouble and was not a good person at all.
[World rejection level: 100.]
【Your task is to reduce the world’s rejection level toward you to 50 without going out of character.】
System 111’s voice was as cold as ever.
【This system recommends that you reform yourself and start anew without going out of character.】
【Simply put, clean up your act, be a good person, and do good deeds to achieve your goal.】
【This is the easiest way to complete the task.】
Shi Jingge remained silent for a few seconds before curiously asking, “Can the world’s hostility only be reduced to 50?”
【Of course not.】
【What if it drops below 50? Will there be additional rewards?】
【Yes, you’ll receive energy bonuses.】
【What if it drops to 0?】 Shi Jingge asked again.
【Impossible.】 System 111 stated firmly, with a hint of disdain.
【Why is it impossible?】
【It’s impossible because it is. There’s no reason.】
Shi Jingge didn’t ask anymore and reorganized the original host’s memories.
The time period he had come to was not too bad. Although the young master wasn’t a very good person, he always listened to his mother.
His mother had died early, and he was still young at the time, so he couldn’t remember much of what she had said. Therefore, he obeyed everything he remembered.
His mother had once said that before the age of twenty, one was still a child and must not engage in early romance. The young master remembered this, so he had not done anything out of line yet.
However, today was the young master’s twentieth birthday.
Half a month ago, the young master had already chosen a young lover for himself. Three days ago, he had taken her from someone else and brought her to a high-end residential complex, waiting for today.
The driver was aware of the young master’s plan, so he had known where to go since early morning. However, there was now an extra person in the car…
Should we still go there?
The driver wanted to ask, but seeing that the young master wasn’t speaking and looked displeased, he dared not ask and could only follow the original plan.
However, he couldn’t help but feel that the girl in the car was pitiful.
It was obvious that she didn’t want to be there.
What a sinful act.
The car quickly arrived at its destination. Assistant Qi Xuan called out to Shi Jingge, and the group got out of the car.
Hua Mingyi didn’t want to get out, but Assistant Wei Han roughly pulled her out of the car.
Hua Mingyi stumbled into the elevator. In her eyes, the elevator was like a ferocious beast with a blood-red mouth, filling her with fear.
Hua Mingyi was lost in her spiraling thoughts.
It wasn’t until another female voice rang out that she looked up in surprise.
What she saw was a tall woman dressed in simple home clothes with delicate and beautiful features that looked somewhat familiar.
But Hua Mingyi didn’t have the energy to think about who this was. She just felt like she was about to explode.
There was another… another one…?
What was going on?
“Shi Shao.” Li Zhuoyun hadn’t expected Shi Jingge to show up here, and he was even accompanied by another girl, which made her momentarily flustered.
But she quickly regained her composure, greeted him calmly, and asked, “Shi Shao, how come you have time to come here today?”
It had been three days since Shi Jingge brought her here, and those three days were enough for her to calm down and come up with a plan to deal with this young master.
The answer…
…This young master was even more immoral than she had imagined!
Li Zhuoyun’s gaze lingered on Hua Mingyi’s face for a moment, and her heart tightened involuntarily.
What was Jingge up to?
Damn, he wasn’t planning on playing such a big game, was he?
Li Zhuoyun felt anxious and cursed several times in her heart, but she didn’t dare to show it on her face.
Shi Jingge frowned and pushed Hua Mingyi forward, who stumbled and bumped into Li Zhuoyun.
“I’m just sending you someone to keep you company. It’s lonely when you’re alone. Two people won’t be lonely.”
The young master sat down on the sofa and said all of that casually.
The meaning behind his words was truly shocking.
He really was a beast.
Li Zhuoyun seethed inwardly, feeling the girl leaning against her tremble even more violently, and she couldn’t help but feel a little pity for her.
But what good would pity do?
Her own situation wasn’t much better.
Wei Han saw the situation and pulled Qi Xuan aside. “Young Master, Mr. Qi and I would like to take a walk outside. What do you think?”
Shi Jingge frowned at him, looking displeased. “What are you leaving for? Do I pay you to run around? Is my money so easy to earn?”
Wei Han choked on his breath and hurriedly smiled apologetically, but he couldn’t help but admire the young master. He was indeed no ordinary person, playing such a big game right from the start.
It was just a pity for these two.
Look at that little star, trembling like a leaf.
Unfortunately, the real suffering was yet to come.
The atmosphere in the room was freezing. Qi Xuan pushed his glasses up and tried to persuade Shi Jingge. “Young Master, today is your birthday. Master and the eldest young master are both thinking of you. It’s getting late. Why don’t you go back and see them?”
“I heard that the eldest young master prepared a special gift for you.”
“Forget it.” Shi Jingge collapsed onto the sofa, rolling his eyes. “My older brother preparing a gift for me? He wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t beat me up first! Besides, who doesn’t know what I’m going to do today? If I leave early, won’t they laugh at me tomorrow? I’m staying here today!”
Saying that, Shi Jingge pointed at Hua Mingyi and Li Zhuoyun. “What are you two still standing there for? Come over here!”
Neither of them wanted to move, but in the end, Wei Han pushed them over. Qi Xuan pulled Wei Han back, but Wei Han ignored him and just pushed the two over. Qi Xuan turned his head away, his eyes filled with pity.
“What are you two standing there for? Come over here!”
“Did I only call them and not the two of you?” The young master laughed angrily, his expression very unpleasant.
Wei Han hurried over, and Qi Xuan walked over with a stiff expression, wanting to try to persuade him again.
However, before he could say anything, the young master said excitedly, “Do you all have your cell phones with you? Hurry up and take them out!”
In an instant, Li Zhuoyun nearly lost control of her temper and wanted to curse loudly.
This little master wasn’t just playing around.
He wanted to destroy them!
How could there be such a beast?
Li Zhuoyun was able to remain calm, but Hua Mingyi had been through a night of turmoil and countless scares. How could she sit still?
After escaping one danger, she encountered another. A series of events that shattered her worldview followed, and now she discovered that there was no limit to shamelessness. Hua Mingyi’s entire mindset collapsed.
What did he want the cell phones for?
What else could he do with them?
Record videos, of course!
Once he recorded the videos, they would become evidence that he could use against them. What fate would await them then?
‘What if… what if my mother finds out about all this…’ Hua Mingyi was on the verge of breaking down.
“Please, please, you’re better than this. Let me go, I beg you, let me go. I don’t know how I offended you, I apologize, I was wrong, I really was wrong, okay? Anything, but don’t take a video, okay? If you record a video, my whole life will be ruined! Ruined! I beg you… please let me go…”
Hua Mingyi’s words grew increasingly hysterical, and something seemed off. The two assistants quickly stepped in front of Shi Jingge, who stared at her in shock, as if he’d been scared out of his wits.
But Hua Mingyi didn’t know where she found the strength to break through the assistants’ blockade and lunged toward Shi Jingge.
Shi Jingge jumped back three feet, retreating several steps. “Get the hell away from me! What the hell is wrong with you? Your mind is full of filth—get out of here!!”
Her terrified expression and the speed at which she fled left everyone with a question mark in their minds.
—How come it looked like the young master was the one who was being harassed?
The young master hid behind the sofa, perhaps believing he was safe, and suddenly started cursing. “Damn it, you’re crazy! What on earth are you thinking? What other use is a cell phone? Playing games! You even won MVP on a variety show–Wait, that MVP wasn’t rigged, was it?”
As he spoke, Shi Jingge cast a suspicious glance at Hua Mingyi and cursed. “You’re really unlucky!”[mfn]Internet slang, it is not an insult but more of an interjection used to express bad luck. — Baidu Answers[/mfn]
Hua Mingyi: ?
Li Zhuoyun: ?
Two assistants: ?
So, this little master made such a big fuss in the middle of the night, but he was actually just looking for someone to play with?
Damn, this was too surreal!
T/N: Welcome to our newest project! If you’ve read “Everyone Knows I’m A Good Person” ( The CG is my favorite trans) you will likely enjoy this as well! I particularly loved this one as we have intelligent female characters who are just as fleshed out as male side characters.
As we do this for fun as a hobby, chapters will be posted once a week (Chapter 2 to be released Sunday, June 15th at 6am CST) .
