ATIMFL – Chapter 49

Can She Do It?

Before filming this scene, Ji Yun did some ideological work with the nervous Tang Congnan.

“Brother Nan, you don’t have to be so nervous. Lao Ning wouldn’t take advantage of Li Zi. Just relax.”

“But you said you’re going to use real pheromones. What if something goes wrong?” Tang Congnan knew Ning Manqing was a decent person. He wasn’t worried about Ning Manqing, but about the effect alpha pheromones would have on Li Chu.

Ji Yun said with a ‘don’t worry’ expression, “Hey, I definitely know what I’m doing. I’m an alpha, so I know better. Besides, Li Zi and Lao Ning’s pheromone compatibility is very low. We’re watching here, nothing will happen.”

“What? Low compatibility? Did you guys go to the hospital to get it tested?” Tang Congnan was surprised. Logically, two people with low pheromone compatibility shouldn’t get along well, but he saw Ning Manqing and Li Chu getting along very well.

“Who would specifically go to test that? We’re not running a matchmaking service. Last time, Lao Ning’s susceptible period suddenly came, and Li Zi was standing right in front of her, completely unaffected. Lao Ning didn’t even make a move on Li Zi. She was already out of control, but she still let Li Zi give her a susceptibility suppressant. You tell me, anything could happen to anyone else, but definitely not them. Although they seem to have a good relationship, there’s such a thing as pure friendship between alphas and omegas.”

Ji Yun’s analysis was so sincere that Tang Congnan was almost brainwashed.

Then Tang Congnan suddenly realized something was wrong. “Wait, what? There was such a thing? When?”

Ji Yun knew it was bad from his reaction. It seemed Li Chu had hidden this from her agent, and he had just blurted it out. It was a good thing he didn’t say it was because of the kissing scene that Ning Manqing’s susceptible period came early.

Ji Yun coughed lightly and said, “Well, I’ll go see if there are any problems elsewhere.”

Time to escape!

Tang Congnan was left fuming. Sure enough, children grow up and keep secrets. Such a big thing, and she didn’t tell him!

Fortunately, Ning Manqing and Li Chu had low compatibility, and nothing happened. If something had actually happened, where would he go to cry?

But after thinking for a while, Tang Congnan got even angrier.

How could she! No feelings for my girl? What kind of person is she! Is she… impotent?!

Filming began.

After the injection scene, Li Chu and Ning Manqing stayed in position while the makeup artists quickly touched up their makeup during the one-minute break. Both Li Chu and Ning Manqing’s faces needed to be flushed, one from the effects of the injection, the other from the omega pheromones.

After the break, the camera rolled again, focusing on Li Chu.

The omega, who always wore light-colored clothes, wore her favorite black for what she believed to be the most important moment of her life.

The black dress made the omega’s skin appear even whiter, like a crescent moon, or a flower.

“Qin Mu, you…!”

“Please mark me.”

The omega unzipped the back of her dress, the straps sliding down, revealing her round shoulders.

“Xi Yiyun, hold me.”

Her eyes were watery and bright. Her posture was weak and pitiful, seeking shelter, but her smile was joyful, making people feel a chill.

Lost in the intensity of the pheromones, the alpha involuntarily released her own pheromones, wanting to conquer the omega before her.

The omega’s brow furrowed slightly, but quickly smoothed out. She reached out and hugged the alpha, like a strangler fig finding its host, eagerly entwining itself.

She was lifted horizontally, and the door closed with a click at that moment.

The black dress was torn to shreds, scattered by the bed. The sound of ripping fabric was full of eroticism. The bed was partially covered. The omega, whiter than the white sheets, arched her back, as if in revelry, or perhaps drowning.

Off-camera, Ji Yun watched the camera work seriously, not missing a single frame.

Qian Duoduo swallowed, and before she could be overwhelmed by the sensual scene, she saw Tang Congnan gripping the arms of his chair so tightly that the leather seemed about to be torn apart.

In the camera, a bite mark appeared on the alpha’s shoulder. Li Chu bit hard, because Ning Manqing whispered in her ear, “Bite harder, this needs to be shown clearly to the camera.”

Ning Manqing seemed to feel no pain, coaxing Li Chu to bite harder. The cloud mist tea pheromones were wreaking havoc in Li Chu’s body, and she bit Ning Manqing’s shoulder like she was possessed.

Her whole body was burning. Her fingers intertwined with Ning Manqing’s outside the covers, their hands entwined like symbiotic beings. The blue veins on the backs of their hands seemed to pulsate with eroticism, climbing along the flow of blood.

Most of Li Chu and Ning Manqing’s bodies were covered by the quilt. Li Chu was actually wearing a tube top and safety shorts under her dress, and so was Ning Manqing.

But those two layers of fabric only provided visual cover; for those involved, they didn’t pose much of an obstacle.

Li Chu’s body softened, burying her face in the crook of Ning Manqing’s neck. Her fingers traced the soft flesh, exploring hidden paths.

The omega’s nape was bitten. Her neck arched back, as if offering the ultimate sacrifice.

The camera moved in the light, finally settling on the pinkish-white hand resting on the edge of the bed. This hand fumbled on the bedside table, pulling a syringe from the bag it had brought.

The syringe was raised high and plunged into the alpha’s body.

After the alpha fell unconscious, Qin Mu tossed the syringe on the floor, bent down, and began to put on Xi Yiyun’s clothes.

Xi Yiyun’s clothes were too big for Qin Mu, but she didn’t care. Wearing a hoodie that covered her thighs, she opened Xi Yiyun’s wardrobe and found a coat to put on.

She walked to the bedside and quietly looked at the sleeping Xi Yiyun for a few moments.

She reached out, wanting to touch her cheek, but just as she was about to make contact, she pulled her hand back.

Qin Mu was actually prone to regret, but she was ruthless. She would force herself not to regret.

Just like how she could refrain from visiting Fang Ying’s grave even once before her revenge was complete. Didn’t she want to? She desperately wanted to.

But she forced herself to endure, afraid that she might have second thoughts at any moment.

She wouldn’t allow it.

So she didn’t want to linger on Xi Yiyun’s warmth at this moment, lest she be unable to carry out the death she had planned.

Qin Mu’s reasons for seeking out Xi Yiyun were complex, but the biggest factor was love.

She loved Xi Yiyun, loved her pheromones. In her short life, she had never gotten what she wanted, never kept what she wanted to keep, whether it was her godmother or her mother. So she decided to have Xi Yiyun, just this once.

Even if it was just this once, even if she had little time left to live, even if this extreme selfishness would cause Xi Yiyun great trauma, she didn’t care. She was that kind of villain.

Also, the bloody smell of the enemy she had just killed was disgusting to her, just like the stench of blood she had smelled when she killed her first person years ago. Even after showering, the filthy smell seemed to linger.

She wanted to use Xi Yiyun’s pheromones to make herself feel a little cleaner.

Xi Yiyun was the most dangerous presence in their cat-and-mouse game, but after the game ended, she realized that Xi Yiyun was actually the most reassuring presence.

Qin Mu didn’t actually want to die nobly, but she had no choice. She knew she could fight and run, but she didn’t want to be so pathetic in front of Xi Yiyun, like a cornered rat. She wanted to be the cat that won the cat-and-mouse game in the end.

“I’m sorry,” Qin Mu said softly, looking at Xi Yiyun. She touched her gland and turned to leave without hesitation.

The door opened, and the door closed.

First a long creak, then a soft click.

As if heralding some kind of ending.

“Cut! Congratulations on wrapping up!” Ji Yun shouted cheerfully with a loudspeaker, and the crew immediately cheered.

Ning Manqing, who was pretending to be unconscious on the bed, sat up, quickly dressed, took the flowers from her assistant, and placed them in Li Chu’s arms.

“Congratulations on wrapping up.”

With the fragrant flowers in her arms, Li Chu thanked her happily, “Thank you, Teacher Ning!”

If she hadn’t slipped her finger in during that scene, she would have thanked her even more.

How wicked! How could a pure beauty like her be comfortable with that kind of play?!

“Li Zi, congratulations on wrapping up!” Zhao Zhichun also came over, gave Li Chu flowers, and stuffed a handful of candy into her hand.

“Thank you, Brother Zhao!”

The crew members also congratulated Li Chu, and she thanked each of them, saying she would treat everyone to dinner tonight.

A female star whose card balance wasn’t just a few hundred after receiving an advertising fee was indeed different.

“Hurry up and change your clothes. I’ve already booked a place for dinner.” Tang Congnan came over, took the flowers from Li Chu’s arms, and urged her to change.

Li Chu was still wearing the coat and hoodie from yesterday’s death scene. She hadn’t worn stockings on her legs for the sake of realism and had almost frozen them off. Although they were indoors now, it was still cold.

“Okay, I’ll go change then.” Li Chu was also cold, rubbing her hands as she hurried into the lounge to change.

After changing into her regular clothes and looking at herself in the mirror, Li Chu felt a little dazed. This was her first time joining a film crew, and now, the story was over, and Qin Mu had completely ended her part in the story.

“What are you spacing out for?” Tang Congnan came in to look for her when she didn’t come out for a while.

Li Chu came back to her senses and said, “Nothing.”

“Is there something you haven’t told me?” Tang Congnan looked at Li Chu with a loving smile.

Li Chu blinked. “Nothing?”

Tang Congnan’s smile became even more amiable. “Think again carefully?”

Looking at Tang Congnan’s sarcastic expression, Li Chu was unsure. After all, there were too many damn things she had hidden from him.

“Still playing dumb, huh? Next time you encounter an alpha in their susceptible period, can you please run? Do you have to be the one to give them their suppressant?”

Hearing this reprimand, Li Chu knew what it was about and breathed a sigh of relief. She immediately admitted her mistake, “Brother Nan, I’m sorry. It was an emergency. Next time, I’ll definitely run far away!”

If that alpha wasn’t Ning Manqing, she would have sprinted away in a hundred-meter dash!

“If you hide this kind of thing from me again, I’ll… I’ll…” Tang Congnan started to reach for his waistband, a gesture that terrified Li Chu.

“Brother Nan, what are you doing?!”

“I’ll find a belt and hang myself, believe it or not! If I were wearing pants with a belt today, you think you’d still be seeing me?”

Li Chu, who had been feeling a bit down about finishing filming, was completely over it now.
