BMHS Chapter 048.2

Yan Sui raised his eyes to meet Meng Ting’s slightly worried gaze. He stood up and hugged him tightly.

“It’s nothing, just a bit earlier than planned.”

“Mm,” Meng Ting replied, patting Yan Sui’s back, “I’ll take a leave of absence from the teacher today. I’ll bring the papers to the company. I want to accompany you.”

He could sense that Yan Sui’s emotions had remained quite stable all along. He had long given up on He Wan, long indifferent to joy or anger. Today’s scene was just a spur-of-the-moment decision, but it didn’t really affect his state of mind.

Yan Sui didn’t need concern, let alone pity. Meng Ting wasn’t here to pity Yan Sui; he just wanted to be with him.

“I want to be with you, always,” Meng Ting said, slightly raising his chin, then hugged Yan Sui tightly and kissed him fiercely.

Yan Sui took a slight step back to cope with Meng Ting’s advance, and then slowly retreated to the sofa.

Yan Sui sat down, Meng Ting paused for a moment, and then pounced on him again. Half of his body was climbing onto Yan Sui’s body, and his hands were gently rubbing his chest. The tip of his tongue probed lightly, then kissed and sucked hard, as if trying to suck out all the pain and misfortune from Yan Sui’s body.

This intention was not hard to feel. Yan Sui sank into the back of the sofa, indulging in Meng Ting’s sudden passion. The coldness at the corners of his eyes gradually dissipated, turning into the tenderness brought by Meng Ting. He held the person close, as if he were holding a rare treasure.

No, not as if; Meng Ting was his treasure, his darling.

This kiss lasted a long time, even igniting a mutual desire within them. The two people rest their foreheads against each other, taking a moment to calm their breaths, as well as the urges that would be brought out by the kisses if it became more and more frequent.

“Yan Sui, I love you, I must love you.”

Meng Ting still had his eyes closed, but he spoke with utmost seriousness. His forehead shifted slightly, the tip of his nose brushed against Yan Sui’s, and the corner of his mouth curled up into a smile, “We will always love each other.”

This realization didn’t just come to him at this moment; it had always been there. It was just that at this moment, it suddenly became clear, and he suddenly wanted to let Yan Sui know.

As he finished speaking, his eyelashes trembled slightly and opened, falling into Yan Sui’s infinitely tender gaze.

The corners of Meng Ting’s eyes and brows gradually curved up. He lifted his face, starting from Yan Sui’s forehead, kissing downwards with soft ‘chu chu chu’ sounds, as if he couldn’t get enough of the person. Then, he was suddenly met by Yan Sui’s lips, kissing him back.

The lingering kiss made one’s heart feel sweet and dreamy. He felt as if he had fallen into a pile of cotton, both light and heavy, seemingly restless yet not quite. Yan Sui whispered, “Say it again, I want to hear it.”

Hearing this, Meng Ting leaned close to Yan Sui’s ear and said earnestly and sweetly, “I love you, I love you, I love you…”

The first time they met, he liked Yan Sui, thinking Yan Sui was good. Now, after knowing each other for more than a month, he has fallen in love with Yan Sui again. He doesn’t know if it’s early or late, but he has fallen in love.

“You were right, I fell in love with you, and that’s when I knew what love was.”

Meng Ting sat on Yan Sui’s lap, wanting to hold him like a precious treasure. Holding the person, other than Yan Sui within his line of sight, he could not see anything.

“What is love?”

Yan Sui asked softly. Meng Ting’s confession came so suddenly that while it made him happy, he couldn’t help but worry that Meng Ting might have misunderstood.

However, Meng Ting answered the question without any hesitation or doubt. From the moment he realized he had fallen in love with Yan Sui, he also confirmed this answer.

“Love is you. You are my love, my entire love.”

Meng Ting didn’t know if Yan Sui could understand his meaning. He grabbed Yan Sui’s hand and pressed it against his chest. “I want to give you everything I can. I want you to be happy; I want everything to be good for you.”

If one day he had to make a choice between himself and Yan Sui that would be more beneficial for one of them, he would definitely choose Yan Sui. He just wanted him to be good, unconditionally.

Because of Meng Ting’s words, Yan Sui’s heart raced, sometimes slow, sometimes fast. He leaned slightly forward and kissed the spot where he had just felt Meng Ting’s heartbeat. Then he held him tightly, unable to say anything for a long time.

Meng Ting’s confession caught him off guard, but it also filled him with unmistakable joy. They were in love… they were truly in love.

Uncle Xiao and Nanny Wang sent He Wan away, then went separately to instruct the servants in the Yan residence. In less than twenty minutes, they returned to the living room, only to find the room filled with pink bubbles. Meng Ting was lying on Yan Sui’s lap, and even when they came back, he was reluctant to get up.

He buried his head, too shy to face anyone, but still stubbornly clung to Yan Sui and wouldn’t let go.

The corners of Yan Sui’s mouth and eyebrows carried a hint of a smile. He raised his hand, signaling Uncle Xiao and Nanny Wang to clean up and leave early. He also didn’t want anyone to disturb the intimacy between him and Meng Ting.

However, after eight o’clock, they should be heading out.

Having expressed his feelings to Yan Sui and being accepted, Meng Ting was in a very good mood and became more proactive and clingy.

They sat close together in the car, with Meng Ting’s feet slightly raised on Yan Sui’s lap. If the person in the front seat couldn’t see them, Meng Ting would probably be hugging Yan Sui as closely as if they were in the living room.

“Once we get to the company, I won’t bother you anymore.”

Meng Ting reflected and felt that he was being a bit too clingy, but for now, he didn’t want to control his behavior.

“Not annoying, I’m happy.” Yan Sui raised his hand to rub Meng Ting’s tender face, then pinched his earlobe, and finally pulled him into an embrace, pressing his head onto his shoulder. Only then did he take out his phone to call Wang Feng.

“Have someone keep an eye on He Wan and see who she’s been meeting during this time.”

The 5% shares in Yan Corporation were the only bargaining chip He Wan had, and the only one that could be exploited. After resolving those troublesome matters, he wanted to carve out more time to spend with Meng Ting.

However, since getting married, Yan Sui had already spent a lot of time with Meng Ting. He would leave work early every day, and if there were evening banquets, he would skip them if possible. If they were suitable, he would take Meng Ting along; if not, he would just show up and leave.

On August 29th, the day before Meng Ting’s registration, Yan Sui took him to Gu Lang’s house for Gu Lang’s birthday.

“You say, how unlucky am I; in the past, during this time when we had birthdays, our daily routine consisted of being watched while we rushed to finish our homework…”

Upon learning that Meng Ting would be going to school the next day, Gu Lang immediately recalled those miserable years from elementary school to high school. As he spoke, his gaze shifted to Yan Sui, the one responsible for organizing this event, standing right beside Meng Ting.

“Yan Sui is doing this for your own good.” Gu Lang realized that informing Meng Ting about Yan Sui was definitely a mistake. Currently, the person who protects Yan Sui the most is Meng Ting; if he claims to be second, who would dare to claim first? Moreover, Gu Lang was just jokingly complaining; he naturally understood that Yan Sui was acting in their best interest.

“Little Sister-in-law is really well-behaved,” Gu Lang couldn’t help but exclaim. When Yan Sui’s gaze swept over, Gu Lang decisively changed the subject, “I’ve specially had someone prepare some delicious food, Little Sister-in-law, don’t stand on ceremony.”

“Mm,” Meng Ting finally smiled at Gu Lang, “Happy birthday to you. This is a gift that Yan Sui and I picked out together for you.”

“Wow, thank you,” Gu Lang received it with both hands, his face beaming with joy.

Getting Yan Sui, who is busy with work, to personally pick out a gift for him was no easy task. He could only do it because of Meng Ting’s influence.

Some of the guests at Gu Lang’s birthday party were his friends, while others were peers from other prominent families in Haicheng.

It had been almost two months, and Meng Ting finally saw Meng Qi, Meng Xiao, and the others at Gu Lang’s party.

However, he only glanced at them and didn’t pay much attention. After learning that he wasn’t a member of the Meng family, he felt that the last bond with them had been severed. From then on, the Meng family was the Meng family, and he was himself.

In Meng Ting’s eyes, they were no different from before. However, whether it was Meng Qi or Meng Xiao, seeing the person again after two months, they felt a huge change in Meng Ting.

The gloominess that had been on him when he returned to the Meng family was completely gone. He seemed to have grown taller, his complexion was rosy, and he looked very healthy and beautiful. A glance at him made him seem almost radiant, making it hard for people to take their eyes off him.

In the past, Meng Qi would still think that Su Siyu slightly outshone him in terms of appearance, as Su Siyu knew how to showcase his own advantages. But looking at it today, that was no longer the case. Meng Ting’s posture was graceful, his appearance was stunning, and he had been cultivated by Yan Sui into someone with an air of nobility.

He was indeed good-looking, but no one dared to show any signs of coveting him in front of them.

Meng Ting had changed, and it was a change for the better.

Meng Qi looked at him, his eyebrows slightly raised. One thing that could be confirmed was that Yan Sui indeed treated Meng Ting very well. Even in the bustling hall, he didn’t let go of Meng Ting’s hand, taking care of him without any hesitation in front of others. The love between the two people could be seen at a glance.

“Fox spirit[mfn]狐媚子 (hú mèi zi): (of a woman) to entice with feminine charms; seduce; enchant; beguile; bewitch; charm; refer to a woman who is good at seducing people with her charming appearance. Fox spirit[/mfn]…” Meng Xiao muttered coldly. The better Meng Ting’s life was, the more he felt that he had suffered a great loss. In other words, he still believed that the person who should have married into the Yan family was him, not the suddenly returned Meng Ting.

Of course, no matter how strong this feeling was, he could barely suppress it with some effort. Su Siyu, on the other hand, had to put in even more effort to control his emotions. After all, Meng Xiao’s feelings were more about jealousy, while he was filled with regret and anger.

Yan Sui was his, his! He had once been his! He wanted to kill; he wanted to kill Meng Ting!

“Forgive me, my mom took it upon herself to invite a bunch of useless people.” Gu Lang whispered to Yan Sui and Meng Ting. Otherwise, according to his own wishes, he would never have invited the Meng family and Su Siyu, whom Meng Ting clearly disliked.

“No problem, you go greet the others,” Yan Sui nodded, indicating understanding.

Gu Lang was the younger generation in the Gu family. It was fine when he was younger; even if others were invited, a space would be set aside for Gu Lang’s friends to have fun. As he grew up, birthday parties like this became a way for families to socialize. As long as they weren’t truly hostile families, they would basically send invitations, and naturally, the guests would be mixed.

Meng Ting still didn’t really like these kinds of banquets. Although there were many delicious foods at the party, he could also sense many covetous eyes on Yan Sui. Some gazes were particularly intense, so intense that he wanted to hide Yan Sui away.

“Yan Sui, say you love me, I want to hear it.”

Meng Ting suddenly leaned close to Yan Sui’s ear and said this, his gaze particularly persistent. Of course, he also knew that Yan Sui would agree.

I love you. Since that day they first said it, they had to say this sentence every day. If Meng Ting wanted to hear it, he would tell Yan Sui, prompting him to say it. Yan Sui did the same, but he mostly chose the evening for Meng Ting to say it.

“I love you,” Yan Sui said, gently pulling the person into an embrace, meeting his gaze with great certainty.

“Mm,” Meng Ting nodded, the uncontrollable vigilance easing a bit, “I love you too.”

It wasn’t Yan Sui’s fault that he attracted people; he was just naturally good and deserved to be liked by many, so Yan Sui couldn’t be blamed. However, he still feels uneasy, but as long as he knows that Yan Sui loves him, that’s enough.

Yan Sui lowered his gaze, suppressing the urge to kiss him, and finally just rubbed Meng Ting’s cheek.

But it didn’t really matter. He hugged him and stroked his face. It wasn’t like there weren’t other couples attending the banquet today, but none of them were as openly affectionate and unrestrained as they were.
