Donald didn’t feel lucky. On the contrary, he felt that the guy behind him was too scary.

Duchovny attempted to regain his position, but he wasn’t prepared for Hunter’s driving being so steady. Duchovny attempted and failed to overtake numerous times in the final three laps.

 

Hunter’s heart seemed to stop as he crossed the finish line.

 

Hunter’s ears buzzed repeatedly as he panted hard.

 

He didn’t hear Marcus’s voice on the radio until he calmed down, along with various cheers.

 

“Hey…what position did I place today?”

 

“Hunter! You are fifth! 5th position! This is your best performance since entering Formula One! It is also the best performance achieved by our team in the last two years!” His voice was trembling with excitement.

 

Fifth place… awesome.

 

Hunter eventually closed his eyes, pursed his lips, and smiled.

“I’m flying to Japan tomorrow afternoon, and this should be my last night in Austria this year.”

 

“Oh, so?” Hunter stepped out from between Winston’s arms and remained motionless. With their hands in their pockets, they stared at each other.

 

“Your room has a better view.”

 

“I don’t accept this reason.” Hunter shook his head.

 

“I want to stay with you,” Winston stated once more.

 

His voice was gentle and devoid of emotion, but it warmed Hunter’s heart.

 

“It’s far too gay...” I agree… and don’t tell me such deceptive jokes in the future.”

 

“I agree that I will not make any misleading jokes in the future,” Winston added.

 

“Okay, see you later tonight.”

 

“Because I’ve never joked with you.”

 

Winston’s voice could be heard from behind Hunter.

 

“Ha…” Hunter sighed helplessly, “How can we change to the normal way of doing things! “Such as watching action films, grilling, mountain climbing, and attending social gatherings!

 

When Hunter opened the restroom door, he discovered that practically everyone who had been standing outside the door had remained outside, as if they were waiting for some shocking news.

Hunter froze as soon as he opened the door.
