Chapter 7: Wedding Night
Yu Haozhou was thrown onto the bed. Before he could get up, Zhou Zizheng was already sitting on his hips, holding him down. He then eagerly started to take off his own clothes.
Yu Haozhou was so angry he could have coughed up blood. “Damn it, Zhou Zizheng, did I say I was going to let you top me?”
He pushed at Zhou Zizheng’s hands, trying to stop him from pulling at his clothes and pants. After three or four attempts, Yu Haozhou’s clothes were only slightly disheveled. Zhou Zizheng said, “It’s our wedding night, and it only happens once. Don’t waste it.”
Yu Haozhou scoffed. “I’ll have a second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and countless more marriages!”
Slap! A slap landed on his butt, and Yu Haozhou’s face turned beet red.
Zhou Zizheng’s voice was a few degrees colder. “Don’t even think about it. Not unless I’m dead.”
Yu Haozhou was so shocked that he wasn’t paying attention, so Zhou Zizheng’s hand slipped in, gently pressing on a sensitive spot. Yu Haozhou shivered all over, his lips slightly parted, and his waist involuntarily arched.
“Wait, wait, wait,” Yu Haozhou panicked, grabbing his hair. “Last time I was drunk and unconscious, and you got your way. This time, let me have my turn. How’s that? One time for each of us. Fair, right?”
Zhou Zizheng just smiled. “Wifey, did I not satisfy you last time?”
“Oh my God,” Yu Haozhou couldn’t help but curse. “Why are you so shameless?”
Next, the loose silk pajamas were removed, leaving him cool below. Feeling that strange sensation, Yu Haozhou’s face turned bright red, and a vein in his neck bulged as he looked up. “You f*cking— I haven’t even said—”
The rest of his words were swallowed by Zhou Zizheng’s kiss.
Yu Haozhou lost track of how many times he was turned over like a salted fish. The light above him became a blur, and he couldn’t tell if the wetness on his cheeks was from tears or sweat. On Zhou Zizheng’s broad back, he left one savage mark after another.
“Zhou Zizheng, I hate you,” Yu Haozhou said in a hoarse voice.
Zhou Zizheng held him tight, kissing his hot, sticky earlobe, and whispered, “Zhouzhou, I love you.”
—
Yu Haozhou didn’t know if it ended at 3 AM or 4 AM. In his plan, he was supposed to get up in the middle of the night to ‘assassinate’ Zhou Zizheng, but he was so exhausted that he simply fell into a deep sleep. He didn’t even notice when the sheets were changed.
Around 7 AM, Zhou Zizheng’s alarm went off. Its harsh sound cut through the quiet morning. He quickly woke up and turned it off. Holding a person in his arms, he was reluctant to let go. With them both lying there, naked, he was even more reluctant to get out of bed.
“Zhouzhou,” Zhou Zizheng raised his hand and caressed Yu Haozhou’s waist, occasionally wandering into a more sensitive area. “Are you hungry? Do you want to get up and eat breakfast before going back to sleep?”
The occasional pain from below reminded Yu Haozhou that he had once again been defeated by Zhou Zizheng while he was conscious.
Damn it. He had planned to be the big, dominant one! But no, he wouldn’t give up. One day, he would make Zhou Zizheng willingly sing his praises while lying beneath him.
His head was spinning. Zhou Zizheng was saying something mystical and babbling on and on over his head. Yu Haozhou rolled over and let out a few groans, as if having a nightmare.
Zhou Zizheng stuck to his wife for another ten minutes before reluctantly getting out of bed to get dressed and wash up. When he came back, he saw that Yu Haozhou’s brows were still furrowed, and he was a little worried, wondering if he had been too rough last night.
He lifted the blanket to check, but his chest was met with a sudden kick. He looked up, his eyes meeting Yu Haozhou’s glistening peach blossom eyes. Yu Haozhou fiercely told him to “get lost,” but because he hadn’t fully woken up, it sounded like he was whining.
My wife is so cute. Zhou Zizheng smiled and rubbed his ankle. “Let me check and see if it’s swollen.” Last night had been more passionate and intense than the time before.
Yu Haozhou was still in some pain, but he didn’t want to admit it. He scoffed, “Zhou Zizheng, you’re not that great.”
“Go to work. Don’t bother me while I’m sleeping.”
Yu Haozhou held the blanket tight, refusing to let him pull it away at all. Seeing that he had enough energy to play games, Zhou Zizheng figured he had good stamina and didn’t press the matter. He went downstairs to the kitchen and made a light meat noodle soup for breakfast, along with a cup of fresh orange juice, which he brought upstairs.
When he went back up, Yu Haozhou wasn’t sleeping anymore. He was curled up in the blanket, playing on his phone. When he heard the noise, he looked back, his heart feeling a little strange. “You made this yourself?”
“Yeah. Get up and eat a little, then go back to sleep.”
Yu Haozhou endured the soreness and climbed out of bed. “I’m afraid you’ll poison me.”
Though his words were harsh, his actions were honest. He picked up his chopsticks and was about to take a bite, but his hand was slapped. He looked at the perpetrator in annoyance. “Zhou Zizheng, are you kidding me?”
Zhou Zizheng said calmly, “Wash up first, then eat.”
Yu Haozhou estimated that the distance from the bed to the bathroom was about seven or eight meters. Who knows how long it would take him to walk there? More importantly, Zhou Zizheng would be laughing at him the whole time.
His brown eyes darted around as he came up with an idea. He said like a boss, “To atone for your sins, you can carry me.”
Zhou Zizheng smiled and readily agreed.
Yu Haozhou threw off the blanket and painstakingly stood up, extending his arms. But Zhou Zizheng simply picked him up face-to-face in a koala-like hug.
“Hey, hey, you…”
Never mind, it’s almost the same anyway. And to be honest, his shoulders were surprisingly comfortable to rest his chin on.
Zhou Zizheng’s gentle voice came from beside his ear. “Zhouzhou.”
Perhaps the atmosphere was too good to ruin. Even Yu Haozhou couldn’t bear to break it. He lazily hummed in response. “Hmm?”
“Do you really not need any ointment?” Zhou Zizheng asked. “If it gets infected, you might get a fever and feel even more uncomfortable.”
Yu Haozhou didn’t take it to heart and was stubbornly prideful. “Don’t think too highly of yourself. I’m a grown man. I can handle a little thing like this.”
“Let me see if that’s true.”
“Get lost.”
—
At noon, Zhou Zizheng was still worried and decided to go home. He sent Yu Haozhou a message half an hour ahead of time, saying he was bringing lunch. When he arrived, there was no reply, so Zhou Zizheng went straight to the master bedroom on the second floor, guessing he was still asleep.
In his hand was the ointment he had just bought from the pharmacy. He was determined to apply it on him no matter what.
He pushed the door open, and it was very quiet inside. Yu Haozhou was indeed still asleep. Zhou Zizheng walked over and called his name three or four times, but there was no response. He sat on the edge of the bed, planning to take this opportunity to secretly apply the ointment. The moment his hand touched his skin, he knew something was wrong.
He was burning hot. His entire body was on fire. Zhou Zizheng frowned and quickly turned his face to him. His cheeks were flushed, his lips were chapped, and his forehead was scorching. He was clearly running a high fever.
Zhou Zizheng quickly pulled back the blanket and woke him up. He then went to the walk-in closet and found a set of long-sleeved pajamas with the tags still on and began to change him. Yu Haozhou was groggy and confused. He held onto his pajamas tightly. “Zhou Zizheng, you’re an animal. What time is it? You’re rushing back just to do this?”
At least wait until it’s dark.
“Don’t talk nonsense. Can’t you feel you have a fever?” Zhou Zizheng raised his hand and brushed the hair out of his eyes. “Now, get dressed and let’s go to the hospital.”
As soon as he heard “hospital,” Yu Haozhou flipped out. That would mean everyone would know that he, a grown man, had to go to the hospital because he was too weak and was f*cked until he had a fever. He shook his head wildly. “I’m not going.”
Zhou Zizheng’s expression was grim. “Yu Haozhou, don’t mess around at a time like this.”
“Who’s messing with you?” Yu Haozhou sat up and shrank back. In fact, he had felt unwell that morning while sleeping. His head was spinning, his whole body was hot, and the air he exhaled was scalding. He felt terrible.
He had thought maybe he just needed to sleep it off.
Who knew he would feel even worse when he woke up? His eyes were so hot he could barely keep them open. But he absolutely refused to go to the hospital. Going for a reason like this would be a permanent black mark on his life.
“Zhou Zizheng, if you dare to force me to the hospital, I’ll make you a widower tomorrow.”
Zhou Zizheng’s frown deepened, and his voice unconsciously grew louder. “Yu Haozhou! Don’t say things like that! Do you want me to beat you?”
Damn it, who is the reason for all this?! He dared to yell at him. Yu Haozhou couldn’t stand being treated that way. Perhaps his sick mind was rusted, because he even felt a little wronged. “Get lost! I didn’t ask you to care about me!”
Zhou Zizheng regretted yelling the moment he did it. But he was just too anxious and didn’t know what to do with him. He was about to try and comfort him further when Yu Haozhou pushed him away.
Yu Haozhou wouldn’t even give him a glance. Zhou Zizheng’s heart felt a pang of pain for a moment. He said in a hoarse voice, “Zhouzhou, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault.” He patiently explained, “I didn’t mean to yell at you. I was just worried that if you put this off, it would get worse.”
Yu Haozhou was more responsive to gentle words than harsh ones. With Zhou Zizheng’s attitude, it would be ungrateful for him to continue being so angry. His lips moved, but he didn’t know what to say.
Zhou Zizheng tentatively moved closer. Seeing that Yu Haozhou didn’t resist, he carefully took him into his arms and kissed the skin on the back of his neck. “My fault. I’ll be gentler next time.”
Yu Haozhou just whimpered without saying anything.
Zhou Zizheng offered a compromise. “If you don’t want to go to the hospital, I’ll ask a reliable doctor to come to the house. Is that okay?”
That was the only way, so Yu Haozhou hummed in agreement, but he still felt embarrassed.
He heard some rustling noises next to him.
Yu Haozhou turned his head and saw a tube of ointment in Zhou Zizheng’s hand. Its purpose was self-explanatory. The two of them made eye contact, and Yu Haozhou scrambled to get out of his embrace. “No! I didn’t say that was okay!”
“Zhouzhou, be good,” Zhou Zizheng said. “It’s definitely infected down there, and that’s why you have a fever. To spare you more trouble, you have to apply this ointment for a few days.”
Yu Haozhou struggled and tried to escape, but this time, Zhou Zizheng was determined to apply the medicine. After only a few attempts, he was pinned face down on the bed, his pants pulled down.
The area on his butt was burning hot but also felt icy cold.
Yu Haozhou buried his face deep in the pillow, wanting to die of humiliation. Zhou Zizheng was inhumane and had no conscience! Yu Haozhou said bitterly, “Zhou Zizheng, you just wait!”
Zhou Zizheng patted his round butt and smiled. “I’ll wait for you to get better and do as you please.”
