Heeyeon's Time

Director Yeon furrowed his brows. It wasn’t hard to guess why he was feeling so irritated. Just a few hours ago, he’d had Jung Heeyeon in his arms—only for Lee Haejin to snatch him away. When he’d finished work and reached out to pick the omega up, the only response he got was, ‘I’ll take Lee Haejin hyung’s car‘.

Technically, Jung Heeyeon would be returning to his hold, so it wasn’t as if Director Yeon had truly lost him. Still, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something had been taken from him. Tap. Tap. His fingers drummed against the armrest of the sofa in a steady rhythm.

“…….”

How much time had passed? The door lock beeped as it disengaged. Only one person had the freedom to enter Director Yeon’s home so casually. He pushed aside his pointless irritation and stood up. He didn’t even have to step toward the entrance before Jung Heeyeon came trotting in on his own.

“I’m home.”

“Did you meet Lee Haejin well?”

Wearing an effortlessly kind expression, Director Yeon greeted him as if he hadn’t been frowning earlier.

“Yes. Ah, Director.”

“Yeah?”

“I have something to tell you.”

The man maintained his gentle expression, but his nerves sharpened in an instant. Normally, Jung Heeyeon would have thrown himself into his arms with a soft laugh. But right now, his expression was oddly resolute. Was he going to say he wanted to stay at Lee Haejin’s place now instead?

Hiding his thoughts behind a practiced, gentle gaze, Director Yeon studied Jung Heeyeon closely. His lips, slightly fuller than usual, slowly parted.

“I’m going to seduce you, Director.”

His finely honed nerves unbelievably unraveled in an instant. At this utterly audacious declaration, the corner of Director Yeon’s lips slowly curved into a smirk. Seeing the omega suddenly blurt out something like that, it seemed he must have told Lee Haejin about what happened yesterday. Still, it didn’t quite seem like Lee Haejin would have taught him to say something like that.

“Where did you learn to say something like that?”

Director Yeon’s voice held an unmistakable trace of laughter. As he pulled Jung Heeyeon forward by the coat, the small body was effortlessly drawn into his space.

“Why didn’t you give any answer? …Did I say something bad?”

The intention behind it was far too innocent to be considered bad words. Director Yeon let out a soft chuckle, his gaze fixed on the omega who was practically nestled in his single arm. Maybe it was the cold wind from the short walk outside after getting out of the car—Jung Heeyeon’s pale ears were flushed red.

“You’re going to seduce me?”

Jung Heeyeon hesitated for a moment, lips parting slightly. He couldn’t understand why Director Yeon was smiling. It didn’t seem like a bad word, but what if seducing someone had another meaning he didn’t know? The uncertainty made him anxious. Slowly, he retraced the origin of the word he had used.

One of the dramas he often watched with Kim Jiwon was set in an elite private high school. In that series, the alpha male lead, a third-generation conglomerate heir, began tormenting the omega protagonist, who dared to stand up to him. But then, after realizing his feelings, he started pursuing the other instead. At one point, when the omega rejected him, the Alpha delivered a dramatic line:

‘You’re the first omega to ever turn me down. From now on, this me, myself, will seduce you.’

At the time, Jung Heeyeon had been watching with his usual blank expression, but when Kim Jiwon started squealing and flailing beside him, he turned and asked.

‘What does seducing mean?’

“Seducing? Hmm, well… It means something like, ‘I’m going to try really hard to win your heart’.”

That was the same nuance Lee Haejin’s words carried earlier today. That was why he said he would seduce the Director… However, the more he thought about it, the more he felt it wasn’t wrong for the current situation. Looking up at Director Yeon, who was watching him patiently without pressing hurriedly, Jung Heeyeon gave a small nod.

“Yes. I’m going to seduce you, Director…”

“Hmm. You’re going to seduce this director?”

It didn’t sound like a question, it was as if he was asking for confirmation.

“Yes.”

The man’s hand cupped his cheek, and a thumb moved slowly, gently rubbing against the corner of his eye. Jung Heeyeon instinctively leaned into the warmth, his lashes fluttering as one eye shut in response. Director Yeon chuckled softly, tilting his head slightly as he murmured,

“And how do you plan to seduce me?”

“Ah…”

Caught off guard with the question, Jung Heeyeon blinked his eyes open, his brows subtly drawing together.

Lee Haejin had told him to use his pheromones. He’d said that, contrary to common belief, alphas were more susceptible to pheromones and heat than omegas were. That the reason bad accidents happened was because alphas had weaker self-control than omegas.

‘But the Director didn’t do anything…? Even when I begged, he said no.’

’That man’s an exception. Well, most alphas in Jiwoo are… but Director Yeon is especially on another level. He’s so good at holding back that people even spread rumors that he might be a beta. Not that anyone would say that if they actually saw his face.’

‘Then wouldn’t pheromones be useless?’

‘Trust me, his patience must already be wearing thin. You just need to provoke him a little, if you really want to sleep with him.’

‘Provoke him? How do I do that?’

But Lee Haejin hadn’t given him a clear answer. He had only smirked faintly and said something inexplicable.

‘Just keep doing what you’re doing. You don’t even need to do anything more. He’ll still give in eventually.’

So now, when Director Yeon asked how he planned to seduce him, Jung Heeyeon couldn’t very well say, “I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing.”

As he struggled to come up with an answer, Director Yeon began unbuttoning the omega’s coat. It wasn’t the one he had worn when they first met—it was the coat they had bought together. Just like all the other clothes he was wearing these days.

Right now, there wasn’t a single part of Jung Heeyeon untouched by Director Yeon’s hands.

Director Yeon slipped his hands beneath the coat’s shoulders, feeling an odd sense of satisfaction. Jung Heeyeon was too preoccupied with thinking of an answer to even consider taking off his outerwear. He merely lifted his arms, furrowing his brows in thought, helping Director Yeon remove his coat without much awareness in his serious contemplation.

“I’ll think about it some more.”

Jung Heeyeon finally responded, belatedly reaching out his hand as if asking for his coat back. The man, after a brief moment of staring at the small, outstretched hand, handed over the coat as requested, a quiet smile playing on his lips.

“You’ll think about it?”

“Yes. …I was told that one should always set a goal first.”

“Hmmm, is that so?”

“Will you fall for me?”

Jung Heeyeon’s gently curved eyes, filled with pure curiosity, took in the man before him. Director Yeon frowned slightly before letting out a faint chuckle. Hanging at the edge of his fierce, upturned eyes was a vague hint of hesitation.

“Heeyeon.”

“Yes?”

A large hand cupped Jung Heeyeon’s cheek, fingers resting lightly against the line of his jaw. Director Yeon’s grip on his face made him tilt up ever so slightly.

“Seducing someone is done like this.”

Heated lips pressed against Jung Heeyeeon’s skin, which was still carrying the trace of the cold night air. Jung Heeyeon instinctively parted his previously shut lips. As he reached out to wrap his arms around the man’s neck, the coat he had been holding slipped from his grasp, hitting the floor with a soft thud.

The arm encircling his waist tightened, pressing their bodies together. Instead of intertwining their tongues together, Director Yeon gently bit down on his soft lips. At the sensation of being bitten, a shiver ran down Jung Heeyeon’s spine, a primal fear mixing with the unfamiliar sensation. Unsure of what to do, he tentatively licked at the man’s lips in response, prompting a low chuckle from Director Yeon.

Yet, rather than engaging in what Jung Heeyeon would define as a kiss, Director Yeon merely pressed their lips together lightly, his teeth grazing over the delicate skin. There was no urgent entangling of tongues, no overwhelming flesh filling his mouth. And yet, despite his unobstructed breathing, his breath came quick and shallow.

Slowly, Director Yeon’s hand began to travel downward, tracing the slender column of Jung Heeyeon’s throat. His fingers brushed over the small bump of his throat before slipping beneath the thick knit fabric, moving like a serpent as they explored his skin. A gentle tug at his collar revealed a canvas of faint, reddish bite marks decorating his pale neck.

Lowering his gaze to admire the marks he had left, Director Yeon wore a look of quiet satisfaction. He finally pulled away, but not before giving a soft bite to Jung Heeyeon’s flushed cheek, much like he had done to his lips moments ago.

“Is this what seducing is?”

Caught in something between a kiss and a peck, Jung Heeyeon was unfamiliar with the sensation yet still asked earnestly.

“Yeah.”

“Then I want to do it too.”

As Jung Heeyeon rose onto his tiptoes to reciprocate, Director Yeon simply leaned down, closing the distance first with a brief touch of their lips.

“Heeyeon.”

The man’s hand absentmindedly played with the tips of Jung Heeyeon’s reddened ears.

“You don’t need to do anything.”

His expression was as gentle as always.
