Min Zhi couldn’t understand why the meeting room felt so stuffy today.
He turned to the assistant beside him and said, “Turn the air conditioning down a bit.”
“President Min, it’s already 16 degrees…”
Min Zhi paused and found that several weak people had already put on their coats. He said nothing more and drank a sip of tea expressionlessly. But the strong tea fragrance could not dissipate the smell of Fu Baiqi, and it became stronger and stronger. The warm chamomile scent struggled to spread, pitifully overwhelmed and trapped by Fu Baiqi’s rich woody scent.
The pheromones in the meeting room were mixed and smelly, and Min Zhi was so annoyed that he could hardly stand it any longer.
He raised his head and glanced at the employee who was talking.
It was someone from the Propaganda Department. Though this was clearly a meeting for senior executives, they sent such a young, inexperienced newcomer to join in. The meeting room was already smelly enough as it was.
One round of talk was not enough, so he took out his second volume of planning proposals as well.
Min Zhi glanced through it hastily, and before he could say anything, he snapped the book shut. He suddenly stood up and said, “Sorry, I have a headache from the smell. Let’s reschedule the meeting for tomorrow.”
Everyone froze. Min Zhi himself was a serious person, and he was very rigorous to the point of being inhumane. This was the first time that he changed the time of a meeting in the middle of one. More importantly, he rarely showed such obvious emotions, and his face was very ugly. He just said something so unclear that no one understood what had offended him. They were afraid that their pheromones were too strong, so they all lowered their heads and dared not say a word.
Min Zhi took a few pills but still felt irritated. He stayed in the office the whole afternoon without going out.
When he got off work, he went to the elevator and ran into Fu Baiqi.
“President Min.”
“How is your health now?”
Fu Baiqi still smelled strongly. Min Zhi tilted his head and said, “Much better.” He glanced at the floor number that Fu Baiqi pressed and asked, “You didn’t drive here today?”
Fu Baiqi looked at his watch and nodded. “I’ve moved to live near the company now, and I haven’t driven during this period.”
“Is that so?”
Min Zhi walked out of the elevator slowly. The gray light in the parking lot shone on his face, making his expression look a little strange. As usual, he sat in the driver’s seat and started the engine, his mind not lingering on anything unusual. But once he drove out of the parking lot, he didn’t head toward home.
He walked all the way to the downstairs of his brother’s apartment.
He stood beside the flower bed for a while. His brother had gone out of town for an inspection some time ago and was not at home at all. It was meaningless for him to come here.
But he still raised his foot and walked up.
Finally he stopped in front of the door next to his brother’s.
He didn’t need to open the door; he could already catch the faint scent of chamomile seeping through the crack.
No need to guess, this strong smell means that the Omega inside is in heat.
Min Zhi did not press the doorbell immediately. He first walked to the side and took out a bottle of pheromone-suppressing medicine from his bag. He poured some into his hand and swallowed it without paying attention to the dosage. The medicine suppressed the restlessness in his body. He took a deep breath and relaxed for a while before he raised his foot and walked to the door.
While ringing the doorbell, he took out his cell phone and called Fang Fengzhi.
Just as he thought, no one answered the doorbell.
It wasn’t until he made the fifth call that the person on the other end finally answered. No one spoke on the other end of the phone for a long time, there was only the sound of heavy breathing.
So Min Zhi spoke first, “Fang Fengzhi.”
“Open the door for me.”
Unfortunately, he didn’t receive any answer, but Min Zhi didn’t hang up. He patiently listened to the noise on the other side. After a long pause, there was a rustling sound, unclear whether he had bumped into something or if it was something else. A muffled noise reached Min Zhi’s ears.
Min Zhi pursed his lips.
Then, the scent of pheromones grew stronger. The next second, the door creaked open slightly, and the chamomile-scented pheromones, now mixed with the dominant woody scent, surged out, splashing over Min Zhi’s head and face. He gritted his teeth and looked through the crack in the door. The Omega was hiding behind the door, and he could only see his pale fingers grasping the edge of the door.
Min Zhi took a step forward and put his foot between the cracks in the door. He stretched out his hand and pushed the door open without much effort.
The Omega lost his balance due to the slight impact and took a few steps back, holding onto a cabinet nearby.
Min Zhi stepped in. When he saw the Omega clearly, his heart, which had been hanging in the air, suddenly sank.
When he stood downstairs, he couldn’t understand why he had come here. But as he stood in front of the door, he realized that he needed to confirm whether the Omega had any physical issues before leaving.
But now, he stood in front of Fang Fengzhi, looking at his body, which had lost weight in less than half a month. His forehead was injured and bandaged, and his once fair, beautiful face appeared dry and hollow from the absence of the marker’s pheromones. Even the mole above his eyelid looked disheveled, as if it were fading. He looked at him with lifeless eyes and then blinked slowly.
He’s like a broken, rusty machine.
Min Zhi stepped forward and grabbed the Omega’s arm. As expected, it was covered with needle holes, one of which was bleeding. This showed that he had been using inhibitors during his estrus period.
Hot air surged from his throat, stinging his nose with every exhale. For reasons he couldn’t explain, a wave of anger welled up inside Min Zhi. And when he saw Fang Fengzhi flinch and furrow his brows at his approach, that anger reached its peak.
He pulled the Omega over without any effort and saw the bite mark on his gland.
Min Zhi had no expression on his face and remained silent. He closed the door, put his arm around Fang Fengzhi’s shoulders, and barged into their home.
Fang Fengzhi was almost dragged by him. His legs were as soft as noodles during his estrus, and he had no strength in his body. He could only let the other party toss him around. His brain was so confused that he didn’t even know who the person next to him was. He could tell the person’s pheromones were familiar, but for some reason, he didn’t like them. To be precise, Omegas who have been marked will not like the pheromones of anyone other than the one who marked them. They will only be obsessed with and desire the person who marked them.
The concentration of personal hormones around him was so strong that it made people feel uncomfortable. Fang Fengzhi held his breath. If he inhaled too much, he might feel nauseous.
There was no way to send Fang Fengzhi to the hospital in his current state. Min Zhi had just seen the bleeding needle hole on his arm, which should have been injected before he came to open the door. Judging from his condition, the inhibitor only made his body a little more awake, but the pheromones were not suppressed. His pheromones were completely disordered. As a natural pheromone container, his body had absorbed too much and could no longer endure the intensity of the Alpha marker’s stronger pheromones. Yet his partner didn’t seem to care at all. He neither gave him pheromone comfort nor was willing to help him release.
So no matter how much he used the inhibitor, it had no effect.
Min Zhi frowned and threw him on the bed.
He was already so excited by the smell of chamomile that he could hardly hold back, “Where is the inhibitor?”
But the Omega was completely unconscious at this moment, his eyes were full of desire, he sat there panting, and he had no idea what Min Zhi said.
Min Zhi’s adam apple slid up and down, he gritted his teeth and endured it. For the first time, he lost his composure and searched through boxes and cabinets in someone else’s room. After finding it in a drawer, he simply cleaned it without blinking and sent the liquid into his own blood vessels.
His body turned cold, and the once-boiling blood settled under the effect of the inhibitors. His sense of smell began to dull, gradually shutting down. The rich scent of chamomile in the air now felt distant, as if drifting from far away.
A minute later, he calmed down completely.
He stepped toward Fang Fengzhi, who had already collapsed onto the bed, his body trembling uncontrollably.
His estrus period has not stopped yet.
Min Zhi sat on his bed and asked him, “What do you want to do now?”
The Omega can neither hear nor speak.
So Min Zhi helped him up and made him sit sideways, facing him. He reached out and patted his face gently. “Fang Fengzhi, sober up a bit.”
Fang Fengzhi blinked, and his unfocused pupils could barely make out the outline of the person in front of him but he could not see the face clearly.
“Fang Fengzhi, listen to me.”
“Your body can no longer handle inhibitors.”
“You have to endure the estrus period.”
It took him a few minutes to understand what he meant when the voice reached his ears.
Then he nodded slowly.
He understood this, but the problem was that he couldn’t help it. As soon as Min Zhi let go of his hand, he couldn’t help but tremble, whimper, and roll on the bed like a boneless man. Min Zhi frowned and didn’t move until he crawled to the edge of the bed, stretched out his hand, and opened the drawer.
Inhibitors are placed inside.
Min Zhi grabbed his slender ankle and pulled him back. He was addicted to the inhibitor. Min Zhi gritted his teeth and said sternly, “If you inject the inhibitor again, your glands will be damaged.”
The poor Omega’s face was already covered in tears. He felt hot and cold all over, and his lower body was in great pain. The pheromones of the person next to him were so strong that Fang Fengzhi felt like he was about to suffocate. He wanted to crawl to the bed, but his ankles were held tightly in someone’s hands, causing his bones to ache. Fang Fengzhi’s tears flowed even more, and he kicked his legs hard, “Let go…let go of me…”
Min Zhi was annoyed by his kicking, so he simply grabbed Fang Fengzhi and held him tightly in his arms. He casually pulled off his tie and wrapped it around the Omega’s hands a few times, then tied them tightly to the head of the bed. Now Fang Fengzhi was completely unable to move.
He couldn’t stop crying, and he kept crying and shouting, “Don’t do this… It’s so uncomfortable…”
That pitiful face was full of tears, and the eyes were red. Min Zhi only took a glance and then looked away.
He saw that the Omega’s lower body part was pushing up his pants, and the tip was wet because of the leaking liquid. His two slender legs were shaking violently.
Min Zhi just wanted to reach out and grab it; otherwise, it would move again.
Fang Fengzhi’s pleas for mercy continued to flow out of his mouth. His lust had burned his brain. Min Zhi didn’t want to pay attention to him. But after the Omega’s body spasmed violently for a while, Min Zhi heard the Omega crying in pain, “It’s so uncomfortable… Mr. Min… I feel so uncomfortable…”
