IRDFPFCIW Chapter 1

Transmigration, So Exciting!

At five o’clock in the morning, with the sky just beginning to brighten, a heart-wrenching coughing sound came from the guest room in the corner of the second floor of the Jiang family house.

In the center of the guest room, a thin young man was lying on the bed. He was coughing violently while arching his body. His long bangs were damp with sweat, covering half of his face and revealing only his sharp chin.

After coughing for a short while, the young man stopped. He released the bedsheet he had been gripping tightly.

If there had been anyone else in the room, they would have been shocked by the young man’s earlier earth-shattering cough because now he casually got up from the bed and stepped barefoot on the floor.

Jiang Tang’s last memory was still of a plane descending rapidly, the feeling of weightlessness, ringing in his ears, and his stomach churning.

Before he could recover from the dizziness of the plane crash, he opened his eyes to find himself enveloped by a flood of unfamiliar memories. Jiang Tang quickly digested the memories forced into his brain. He looked at the extremely futuristic room before him and felt at a loss.

It was obvious that he had transmigrated.

In his previous life, Jiang Tang had lived a smooth-sailing life for just twenty years: born into a family of chefs, growing up pampered, and with extraordinary culinary talent, he had blended Eastern and Western cuisines into his own unique style. Despite his young age, he had already gained fame and a high position in the culinary world. Coupled with his stunning looks among middle-aged chefs, Jiang Tang naturally attracted a large fan base. He was truly a winner in life.

However, Jiang Tang encountered a plane crash on his way back from an international culinary exchange. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in an interstellar era set many years in the future.

Jiang Tang, who was often jokingly called the “heaven’s favored son”, felt that it was…

So exciting.

Jiang Tang sighed, and relying on the newfound memories in his mind, shuffled to the bathroom in his slippers.

“Splash—” The cold water splashed onto his face, with droplets rolling down his delicate jaw. Jiang Tang finally sorted out the memories belonging to the original owner in his mind. He looked at the young man in the mirror, whose face was obscured by his bangs, and raised his hand to sweep the troublesome “curtain” back behind his head.

With his beautiful face fully exposed, Jiang Tang adjusted his posture. The gloomy and desolate aura of the young man in the mirror instantly vanished. He raised an eyebrow as if discovering something interesting, a glimmer flashing in his eyes.

The originally lifeless peach blossom eyes suddenly came to life.

Jiang Tang examined the familiar face carefully. A small and exquisite nose, deep-set eyes… perfect facial features. Indeed, the body he had transmigrated into not only shared his name but was also strikingly similar in appearance, except for the small black mole at the corner of the left eye. However, due to long-term malnutrition, he looked excessively thin and his complexion was poor. He was even much shorter than he had been in his previous life!

Jiang Tang silently comforted himself that this body was only 18 years old and still had room to grow!

Who could have imagined that Jiang Tang would have such an unexpected adventure? Although this original owner shared his name and surname, he had a completely different tragic life.

Not long ago, the original “Jiang Tang” had just been brought back to the Imperial Capital Star from a Garbage Star by the Jiang family. It was then he realized that he was actually the “real young master” who had been maliciously swapped. The original owner was overwhelmed by this surprising revelation and felt very happy. He never imagined that he could reunite with his family. Even though he had never met the Jiang family before, he arrived at the Imperial Capital Star with high hopes.

But the original owner had no idea that what awaited him was not the love he had longed for from his family but rather the coldness, ridicule, and various schemes from the fake young master Jiang Bai who had taken over his identity.

The original owner was simple-minded and couldn’t see clearly, but Jiang Tang understood perfectly that the Jiang family was being hypocritical and selfish. Between Jiang Bai, who had just been accepted into the prestigious Imperial Capital University this year and obviously with a bright future, and the original owner who had grown up on a garbage planet and had “no future”, they quickly chose Jiang Bai and gave up their own “thing” that was not presentable.

Thus, the Jiang family naturally turned a blind eye to Jiang Bai’s schemes and even helped him, causing the already insecure original owner to become humiliated and ridiculed in the Imperial Capital Star.

Just yesterday, the original owner had been half coerced and half bribed by the Jiang family into signing a statement severing ties with the family. However, out of concern for the so-called face of a wealthy family, the Jiang family had temporarily concealed their plan to kick him out.

Jiang Tang sneered, the remnants of the original owner’s emotions surged in his chest, unwillingness and anger raging within him. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of an empty sleeping pill bottle lying in the corner. His pupils constricted and a colder expression flickered in his eyes.

No wonder he thought the nausea he felt upon arriving was due to the plane crash. It now appeared to be related to this empty bottle of sleeping pills.

How did the original owner even get access to such strictly controlled medication?

Jiang Tang’s expression darkened. He gently pressed his hand against his chest and whispered, “Don’t worry, I will definitely live well for you. Those people will get their retribution. I won’t let any of them off.”

The sky had brightened a lot, and Jiang Tang finally felt calmness settling in his chest. The sunlight poured onto his delicate features, enveloping the young man in a layer of holy light. Jiang Tang looked at himself in the mirror and a slight smile curved at the corners of his mouth.

Are you ready? It’s about to begin now.
