IRDFPFCIW Chapter 72

All the Fluffies Exposed, Jiang Tang: Crack

Wen Renyuan had no idea what was happening.

He walked over to Jiang Tang and smiled, placing a kiss on Jiang Tang’s cheek.

The queen opposite watched their intimate interaction that no one else could interfere, and chuckled softly behind her handkerchief before leaving the space for the young couple.

“Did you have fun?”

Wen Renyuan naturally sat down beside Jiang Tang and wrapped an arm around his waist.

Jiang Tang leaned against Wen Renyuan’s chest and looked up at him with a smile. “Happy.”

Wen Renyuan instinctively felt something was off about Jiang Tang’s smile, but he didn’t dwell on it. Instead, he gently pinched Jiang Tang’s nose and said affectionately, “So happy? What were you doing with my mother in the palace?”

At these words, Jiang Tang’s smile widened even more.

“The queen showed me childhood photos of you. You were so cute.”

Jiang Tang slowed down his speech and said them word by word.

Wen Renyuan: …

Wen Renyuan: …

He felt completely petrified. A bead of cold sweat rolled down his forehead and fell silently into his collar.

“Baby, baby… you, let me explain…”

Jiang Tang snorted coldly, and the smile on his face vanished as if it had switched off. He was completely different from his smiling face just now.

Wen Renyuan experienced his boyfriend’s talent for changing moods for the first time and then realized he missed the best opportunity to explain.

Jiang Tang stood up and walked out. Wen Renyuan looked at his back with a bitter smile and hurried to catch up.

Jiang Tang sat silently in the car and completely ignored Wen Renyuan, who was anxiously trying to explain. His face was cold enough to freeze.

As soon as he got home, Jiang Tang headed straight to the kitchen and the sound of clanging kitchenware soon followed.

Wen Renyuan sat nervously on the sofa. He kept glancing at the kitchen from the corner of his eye, and his Adam’s apple couldn’t help but roll up and down.

Finally at dinnertime, Wen Renyuan seized the opportunity to approach Jiang Tang.

Before he could say anything, he saw the table full of dishes. His mouth twitched and his expression changed.

This table of dishes resembled the one Jiang Tang had made when he was angry last time. Everything was sour.

Wen Renyuan now confirmed that Jiang Tang was indeed angry last time, so he intentionally prepared such a table of dishes, and he was experiencing it again.

Wen Renyuan sat down across from Jiang Tang, staring intently at him while thinking about how to explain what he had concealed.

Under Wen Renyuan’s gaze, Jiang Tang lost his appetite. He was so angry that he slammed his chopsticks onto the table and said fiercely, “Eat!”

Wen Renyuan immediately picked up his bowl obediently and shoved a large portion of sour spiced potato shreds into his mouth.

Almost all the sour dishes on the table ended up in Wen Renyuan’s stomach.

That wasn’t all. Later that night, Wen Renyuan stood outside the bedroom door holding a pillow and blanket. He looked at the closed door with tears in his eyes.

Wen Renyuan: …

He raised his hand and gently knocked on the door, pleading, “Baby, let me in… I really know I was wrong.”

Silence came from inside the door.

Wen Renyuan had no choice but to continue knocking with a thick face.

After what felt like an eternity, the door suddenly opened from inside. Jiang Tang stood there with a cold expression and pursed his lips unnaturally. “Weren’t you going to explain? Here’s your chance.”

Wen Renyuan quickly stepped inside the room, placing the blanket and pillow on the bed first, especially putting the pillow next to Jiang Tang’s.

“Baby, I really know I was wrong.” Wen Renyuan apologized timidly. Of course, he knew that he was wrong about this matter.

As lovers, they should be honest with each other.

He originally intended to delay it for a while and then wait for the right moment to confess completely. He was unsure how to tell Jiang Tang for fear that Jiang Tang might look at him like a monster.

But after thinking it over, Wen Renyuan never expected that this would be the way Jiang Tang learned the truth.

“…Even if you couldn’t explain it to me at first, why have you kept it from me for so long?” Jiang Tang’s expression turned slightly aggrieved. “Aren’t we lovers? Do you really have so little trust in me?”

Seeing Jiang Tang’s hurt expression made Wen Renyuan’s heart ache with self-blame and regret.

He couldn’t help but pull Jiang Tang into his arms and gently pressed his lips to his forehead. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just that in front of you, I always found myself lacking in confidence. Tang Tang, you’re so good. I worry that you will look at me differently, and I’m even more afraid that you’ll keep a distance from us because of those days on the barren planet…”

Wen Renyuan was overwhelmed with guilt, self-blame and regret at this moment. He didn’t notice his slip of the tongue.

Jiang Tang: ?

Why did he suddenly have a bad feeling in his heart…

“Wait, what do you mean by from us?”

Wen Renyuan: …

Half an hour later, Jiang Tang sat on the sofa wearing a sweater and trousers, with an ugly expression.

Across from him sat Wen Renyuan, Lin Yucang, and Gu Lin. They were not in their fluffy forms but as humans.

Jiang Tang wasn’t used to dressing too casually in front of strangers, so he changed out of his home clothes before sitting in the living room.

The three high-ranking men opposite him, who could command respect outside, were now sitting in a row on the sofa like small children.

They sat up straight, all staring at Jiang Tang. No one dared to speak first.

Upon closer inspection, they all seemed timid.

Jiang Tang was a little dazed as if he was about to crack. Looking at the three handsome and tall men across from him, he found it hard to connect them to the three fluffy creatures from before.

But even as strange as it was, he had just seen the fluffies enveloped in white light. When the light dissipated, two men dressed in suits and leather shoes stood where the fluffies had been.

Jiang Tang raised his hands to cover his face and rubbed it vigorously, trying to shake off the confusion.

Even though he really liked the two fluffies and they were quite close before, he felt completely unfamiliar with these two people.

After Lin Yucang and Gu Lin briefly introduced themselves, Jiang Tang sighed wearily.

He felt a headache coming on. He rubbed his temples and said, “I’m sorry, but I’m having a hard time accepting all of this.”

Jiang Tang couldn’t decide which was more absurd. Whether it was his pets that suddenly turned into humans or that he had raised them as animals, or perhaps both.

“Can you please leave for now? This is all too… I need to calm down.”

Lin Yucang, Gu Lin, and Wen Renyuan were all politely but firmly driven out by Jiang Tang.

Sitting alone on the sofa while hugging a pillow, Jiang Tang found himself lost in thought.

Every time he closed his eyes, his past interactions would appear in his mind.

Holding the fluffy creature to check its gender x

Calling himself the fluffies’ dad every day x

Touching the fluffy creatures all over and feeling uncomfortable if he doesn’t touch them every day x

Letting himself go at home when he thought no one was around x

Jiang Tang let out a pained “ah”, covered his face with the pillow, and collapsed back onto the sofa.

Can he transmigrate again and live in another world?!

Why did it have to be like this!
