SDVPP Chapter 69

Imprint

“No, you—maybe you should move somewhere else…” Chi Han lay on the bed on his stomach, his waist arching slightly as it rested on Rong Xu’s thigh. His sleepwear had ridden up, revealing a patch of fair skin.

Fingertips brushed over the hollow of his waist, causing Chi Han to shiver uncontrollably, his face flushing red.

It really itched there!

Rong Xu removed the pen cap, his fingers gliding along the lean, slender side of Chi Han’s waist. His eyes seemed to hold a dense, inky darkness that wouldn’t dissolve.

With one hand, he supported Chi Han’s lower abdomen, sensing the other’s somewhat rapid breathing. He leaned down in comfort to kiss the nape of Chi Han’s neck, his half-lowered eyelashes hiding the restless emotions beneath.

Rong Xu knew he was being a bit excessive right now, but he simply couldn’t resist repeatedly teasing Chi Han.

And Chi Han, surprisingly compliant, let him get away with it.

Rong Xu’s throat moved with a low swallow; his palm burned intensely.

Chi Han, lying face down on the bed, saw nothing but felt Rong Xu’s fingers gently brushing over the hollow of his waist. He couldn’t suppress the goosebumps rising on his skin.

The sensation was both itchy and tingling, the electric current flowing through his limbs and body, finally gathering in a place that could not be spoken of.

Chi Han buried his head in his arms, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

Until a slightly cool, sharp object pressed against his lower back and began to slowly slide. It didn’t hurt, but it sent shivers down his spine.

“!”

Chi Han gasped heavily, biting the corner of his sleepwear with the side of his mouth, his ears burning bright red.

This was seriously driving him crazy.

Rong Xu’s breath was equally hot as he supported Chi Han’s waist. His hand controlled the pressure as he quickly wrote, the black ink strokes like a branded mark on Chi Han’s fair skin, making him want to leave some other kind of mark there as well.

By the time the last stroke was finished, Chi Han’s ear tips were already flushed bright red.

The inked name looked like a black butterfly about to take flight, rising and falling with Chi Han’s breathing.

Strangely, it carried a hint of seductive charm.

“All done.” Rong Xu capped the pen gently, tenderly straightened Chi Han’s clothes, then reached out and pulled him up.

Chi Han was sweating all over his forehead, his throat dry and rough.

There was some moisture in his eyes, the corners tinged with red, making him look like he’d been teased.

Rong Xu’s fingertips twitched, his voice hoarse: “Why are you sweating so much?”

Chi Han had just calmed down and looked up at Rong Xu’s face, which was clearly more passionate than usual. His heart raced again.

He patted his own face, trying hard to steady himself.

To be honest, he wasn’t ready yet.

Chi Han grasped the hand that was rubbing his neck and glanced up and down at Rong Xu. Then, deliberately speaking loudly, he said, “You’re done writing, right? Now it’s my turn. Hand over the pen. I want to write, too!”

Seeing Chi Han stirred up and a little ruffled, Rong Xu couldn’t help but chuckle softly. Every time he saw a new side of Chi Han, he felt an urge to lock him in his arms, not letting anyone see even an inch.

Chi Han felt a bit embarrassed by the laugh, as if he’d been treated like a noisy child.

“What are you laughing at?” Chi Han reached out and poked Rong Xu’s lower abdomen, unexpectedly finding it quite firm. “Laugh, laugh, laugh!”

Rong Xu grabbed his mischievous hand, leaned in, and kissed him, gently licking the corner of Chi Han’s lips.

Caught off guard, Chi Han froze in place, not yet reacting, when suddenly something cool and smooth was placed into his hand.

It was the pen Rong Xu had just used to write.

Rong Xu’s expression in front of him was soft, and his ink-colored eyes reflected only Chi Han himself.

Chi Han suddenly thought, if what he held now was a knife, Rong Xu would probably hand it over to him without hesitation.

Rong Xu gently turned his face to the side, held Chi Han’s chin in his mouth for a moment, then released him. Leaning back against the bed’s soft cushion, he chuckled lightly and unbuttoned two buttons of his pajama hem:

“Come on.”

Damn this handsome-man strategy!!

Chi Han swallowed, overwhelmed with excitement.

He looked around, then finally pulled Rong Xu’s long leg over, rolled up the pant leg, and left his name on the calf—one name on each leg.

Holding back a laugh, he drew a heart outside the name, which looked a bit odd.

A few seconds later, Chi Han collapsed laughing onto the bed, tears streaming down his face.

He couldn’t stop laughing, thinking about how such a cold, aloof person like Rong Xu had two hearts hidden under his pant legs.

Rong Xu lowered his gaze silently to the hearts on his calves, his fingertips gently tracing them, the rising feelings almost overwhelming him.

“I’m going to the bathroom.”

Chi Han thought Rong Xu had just gotten shy and embarrassed because of him, so he went to wash his legs. But half an hour later, Rong Xu still hadn’t come back.

Chi Han: “…?”

Forty minutes later, Rong Xu returned to the bed with his hair half-wet.

Chi Han was stunned: “How did you end up taking a shower after going to the bathroom? Did you wash off the writing I did?”

Rong Xu rolled up his pant leg, revealing the writing on his calf: “No, I just accidentally got my clothes dirty, so I took a shower while I was at it.”

Chi Han thought for a long time but couldn’t figure out how going to the bathroom could dirty clothes. But it wasn’t important. He touched his lower back and whispered, “If I take a shower, I definitely can’t avoid that spot. I guess it’ll have to wait until tomorrow night.”

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly felt dizzy. By the time he reacted, all he could see was the ceiling.

Rong Xu pressed his body sideways on top of him, locking him firmly beneath. His fingertips gently pressed on Chi Han’s soft lower lip, the motion carrying an inexplicable mix of desire and danger.

He leaned down, kissed Chi Han’s ear softly, and whispered, “What I write can only be washed off by me.”

Chi Han gasped sharply, his heart pounding like a drum.

He trembled as he looked at Rong Xu, realizing he probably wouldn’t be able to sleep until late into the night.

Rong Xu smiled, turned off the bedside lamp, and quickly fell asleep holding him.

Only Chi Han stayed wide-eyed until the early morning, so frustrated he wanted to shake the person next to him awake.

He wasn’t sure when he finally dozed off, but at six in the morning, he suddenly woke up, got up, and saw—

Damn it, I need to change my underwear!

……

Because of what happened that morning, Chi Han’s expression stayed stiff all day.

Luckily, he destroyed the evidence before Rong Xu woke up; otherwise, right now, he could use his toes to dig out an entire Disneyland for himself.

As the end of the semester approached, several courses listed their exam times.

Seeing the deadline for submitting his painting fast approaching, after finishing his academic reviews, Chi Han finally set up his easel and picked up the brush.

… What should he do? His mind was completely blank.

Rong Xu, serving as the model, sat upright in front of the drawing board, sitting very straight.

An hour passed, and Rong Xu stretched his stiff back a bit. He stood up, walked behind Chi Han, glanced at the canvas, and laughed in disbelief:

“One hour, and all you’ve drawn is a dot?”

Chi Han lowered his head, feeling a little wronged, and said, “No good, my hand says it can’t do it.”

Rong Xu gently patted the poor guy’s head and pulled him up: “If you can’t draw it, then don’t. I’ll take you out for some fresh air.”

Even after getting into the car, Chi Han still felt a bit listless. He had so many memories of Rong Xu in his mind, yet when facing the canvas, he couldn’t recall a single one.

Rong Xu parked the car and led Chi Han through a gate covered in green vines.

The moment they stepped inside, Chi Han’s eyes brightened.

This place was like a peach blossom land far away from the city!

All kinds of precious flowers and plants grew freely, vast clusters of blossoms cascading like waterfalls, creating a shade over the swing at the garden’s center.

Chi Han couldn’t help but step closer and reach out to brush against the pale purple petals in full bloom, only to see a few tiny pearl birds peeking at him from the gaps between the flowers and leaves.

Something soft and furry brushed against his calf. Looking down, he found a long-haired ragdoll cat, its blue eyes like stars curiously watching him.

Chi Han’s heart instantly melted.

“Rong Xu, where did you get this…”

He started to say, then turned back with a bright smile. Only then did he realize that Rong Xu had been watching him all along; whenever he looked back, he could always see Rong Xu’s gaze.

Halfway through his sentence, Chi Han fell silent, staring blankly at Rong Xu. Suddenly, the blank canvas before him seemed to have found its answer.

Yes, something so familiar is easy to forget—such a gaze, once seen, would willingly drown you in it.

“What’s wrong? Don’t like it?” Rong Xu stepped closer, smiling as he gently tapped the ragdoll cat’s head in Chi Han’s arms. “This is a private garden from a business partner’s home. If you like it, we can get one for ourselves when we go back.”

“No,” Chi Han sniffed and put the cat down, his voice a little nasal. “I just suddenly know what I want to paint.”

“What?”

Before Rong Xu could finish speaking, a warm body pressed into his arms. He furrowed his brow slightly and said softly, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

Chi Han rested his cheek against Rong Xu’s slender neck, and after a moment of silence, said, “I just realized you’ve been standing behind me all this time, waiting for me to look back. Rong Xu, I feel like I haven’t been good enough to you. It makes me a little sad.”

Rong Xu hugged Chi Han tighter, as if wanting to press him into his very bones: “You’ve been more than good. No one has ever been this good.”

Chi Han shook his head and closed his eyes.

“It will get better from now on.”

The deep affection in Rong Xu’s eyes nearly spilled over. He let out a soft breath and lowered his head to kiss the corner of Chi Han’s lips.

“Alright, then you have to like me a little more every day.”
