SDVPP Chapter 94

Mustang Series

The school gave a small May Day holiday, a total of five days. Chi Han spent three days just lying in bed.

Walking along the street, bathed in the morning light, Chi Han nearly wept with joy.

How long had it been since both his feet last touched the ground? It seemed that being a canary wasn’t easy either.

Duo Fu was running happily in front. Chi Han held onto the leash to keep it from running too far. Only when they entered a park with few people did he let the leash out longer.

“I was trapped for so many days, and you didn’t come to rescue me. I bought you dog food for nothing!”

Chi Han squatted on a stone, resting his chin on his hand, watching Duo Fu run wild everywhere with the frisbee in its mouth, grumbling angrily under his breath.

“Starting today, your dog food is cut in half! You’re about to grow a double chin!”

A slightly chilly morning breeze blew by, and Chi Han shivered.

He frowned and looked toward the distant bushes, faintly feeling as if someone was watching him. But over there, it stayed quiet as ever, not even a shadow in sight.

A few minutes later, he shifted his gaze away.

An illusion?

This feeling was just like going to the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning on the light, and always feeling like there was someone in the mirror, making one’s back turn cold.

Chi Han decided to end the dog walk and head home for breakfast first.

After he walked far away, behind the big rock next to the bushes, half a face slowly peeked out, wearing a hat and glasses. The facial features couldn’t be seen, but from the movement, it could be guessed that this person had been watching Chi Han the whole time.

Once he left the park and reached a crowded area, the chill that had lingered in his heart finally faded bit by bit.

Chi Han led Duo Fu back home, wiped all four of its little paws clean, and then looked speechlessly at Duo Fu as it curled up in its dog bed and fell asleep in an instant.

Was he raising a pig or what?

Rong Xu stood at the stairway landing wearing only sleep pants. His hair was slightly messy, half covering his cold, indifferent eyes. On the side of his neck, there was still a dark hickey.

That was left by Chi Han last night.

Chi Han had just bent halfway down to change his shoes when someone hugged him tightly from behind. A warm body pressed up against him, and the back of his ear seemed to be gently licked.

“Woke up and found you weren’t there.”

Rong Xu’s hot breath brushed against his ear. His voice, usually cold, now carried a trace of hoarseness from just waking up—irresistibly seductive.

Chi Han, half-bent over, stood barefoot on the floor, bracing himself against the person pressing down on him from behind.

This posture, first thing in the morning, was really a bit dangerous.

“I just… held it in for too long, so I took Duo Fu out for a walk… Let me go first, I need to put on my shoes, the floor is really cold.” Chi Han’s ear tips were red as he struggled a bit, nudging the other with his shoulder.

In truth, that was nonsense. There was a thick carpet covering the floor. How could it be cold? He was just afraid he wouldn’t be able to resist temptation and would end up rolling back into bed.

Rong Xu heavily sucked on Chi Han’s earlobe, then lifted him up forcefully and set him on top of the shoe cabinet. His fingertips tilted Chi Han’s chin up as he leaned in and kissed him, pressing him firmly against the wall.

Chi Han’s long legs, forced to wrap around Rong Xu’s waist, bent slightly. He felt one of his feet being firmly grasped in a warm palm, the arch of his foot being rubbed back and forth, then his ankle, then his calf…

Lips and tongue numb, Chi Han leaned against the wall. Panting continuously, a single tear slipped uncontrollably from the corner of his eye.

It was from being stifled.

Rong Xu raised his hand and scooped him up, carrying him upstairs. Chi Han struggled with all his might:

“No! I’m not going back to bed again, let me go!”

Rong Xu paused his steps, lowered his eyes to glance at Chi Han, his thin lips a vivid red as he smiled, hooking people in:

“Not going to bed? Fine.”

The next moment, he turned and headed toward the dining table.

An hour later, Chi Han was crying as he begged Rong Xu to go back to bed.

To show his anger, the next day, Chi Han took Duo Fu to get his balls snipped.

Although it really had been the vet’s suggestion a month ago, Rong Xu still fell into an inexplicable silence for a moment.

Duo Fu was silent that night, too.

It was as if he suddenly realized something. There was no free dog food in this world.

With this single act of intimidating two family members at once, Chi Han instantly secured his place as the head of the household, finally freeing up some time to pay attention to the progress of this world’s plot.

After asking the assistant, he found out that Fang Jingluo was currently under investigation by the police, the reason being the embezzlement of a huge sum of assets a few years ago, which seemed to have been used for some shady dealings.

Xu Ting right now can’t even look after himself. Back then, when his family fell into decline, they racked up quite a lot of outside debt, and it was the kind that belonged to people from the underworld. His family members did everything they could to send him overseas to escape disaster. Now that the creditors have heard he’s back in the country, they’ve all come knocking, demanding their money back.

It seems someone has even put the word out that if he doesn’t pay up, giving up his life will do just as well.

So a few days ago Xu Ting went into hiding, too scared to show his face, terrified someone would find him.

Speaking of this, the assistant let out a smile that was hard to read: “That Young Master Xu even tried to contact Young President Rong on WeChat yesterday, wanting Young President Rong to fork out money to save him. Utter wishful thinking.”

What the assistant didn’t say was that those debt collectors showing up at Xu Ting’s door were sent by Rong Xu’s people.

Chi Han nodded, his voice low: “Don’t use that WeChat account anymore. From now on, don’t reply to any more messages either. Don’t let this fire touch Rong Xu.”

The assistant hurriedly agreed.

After hanging up, Chi Han felt a little more at ease.

With how things are developing now, if Fang Jingluo still wants to topple Rong Xu, it’s nothing short of daydreaming.

Thinking this, Chi Han reached back and slapped away the hand that was creeping onto his lower back. He turned around, face expressionless, and said, “Did you finish writing your reflection?”

Rong Xu: “……”

He was sitting on the sofa, his fingertips hooked around the waistband of Chi Han’s pants, giving it a slight tug, just enough to reveal a hint of black underneath.

“Why don’t you ask me?” Rong Xu raised his hand and pulled the other into his arms. Chi Han was yanked forward and staggered, only steadying himself by bracing his hand against Rong Xu’s shoulder.

Rong Xu lifted the hem of the person in his arms, tilted his head back to look at Chi Han, the tip of his tongue brushing against Chi Han’s lower abdomen. Then his teeth lightly caught that edge of black fabric, tugging it downward, his eyes shimmering with a watery glow.

“Anything you want to know, I’ll tell you.”

Chi Han’s lower abdomen tensed up, and the hand he had resting on the other’s shoulder couldn’t help but clench tighter.

Demon!

One day, he was going to die that way at this rate!

Just as Rong Xu’s fingertips were about to touch behind him, a cool voice sounded right above his head.

“Looks like writing a reflection isn’t enough anymore. I have a freshly delivered copy of the Great Compassion Mantra here. Go copy it.”

Rong Xu: “…………”

Then he raised his hand and pinned the other person down underneath him.

Copy it once or copy it twice, same thing.

He had an assistant anyway.

Chi Han only felt a sudden chill beneath him: “???”

So this was what they called a wild stallion type boyfriend?
