The gunfire gradually died down.
“Hong, those two are the students from this year’s mecha competition! One is called Jiang Yuan, the other is Ji Rong. They’re really strong, so don’t let your guard down.”
A voice came through the command room’s communications, having clearly recognized Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong. The two had been exposed on surveillance during their earlier fight, and their identities were quickly confirmed.
Hong frowned. He knew of these two. After all, most people across the galaxy watched the mecha competition. One had exceptional close combat abilities, while the other was known throughout interstellar circles by a title – the strongest Omega in all the galaxy!
But more concerning than that attention-grabbing title was how several mercenaries he knew had watched the competition and were astonished with that Omega Jiang Yuan’s inhuman predictive abilities!
Such god-like prediction skills could instantly turn the tide of battle!
Hong’s lips curved into a cold smile. No matter how strong their mecha skills were, they were useless now. Prediction required data analysis after all. While he’d certainly lose in a mecha battle, this wasn’t a mecha fight. It was a gunfight! Without mecha support, no matter how strong these two were, they couldn’t possibly match his team of mercenaries!
Unlike the previous group, he and his men weren’t just security personnel. They were real interstellar mercenaries. They were present wherever conflict erupted. Each of them had emerged from battlefields of fire and blood.
Moreover, they were using lethal weapons, while those two kids were still too soft-hearted. They dared to board the ship but hesitated to kill, using weapons that only stunned people. This alone sealed their fate. They couldn’t possibly be a match for his team.
Killing two geniuses… that should be fun.
Hong licked his lips.
From the opposite corner, half a hand peeked out. Jiang Yuan aimed his gun and pulled the trigger. Accompanied by a gunshot-
The owner of that half-exposed hand instantly became paralyzed, trembling as they collapsed sideways onto their companion.
Hong frowned. “Didn’t I tell you earlier to be careful about hiding? Don’t deliberately check their position. The command room will report their movements to us.”
Hong, who was also hidden in a corner, was now taking the two intruders seriously. He realized they wouldn’t be easy to deal with, although he’d already recognized this during the initial wave of attacks.
Living up to his veteran mercenary status, Hong immediately issued orders. “Faso, charge in as bait. Cheetah, Swallow, watch for the direction of their attacks!”
“Yes!”
Meanwhile, Jiang Yuan was getting anxious. Ji Rong’s hand was injured. Although it was not serious, the wound needed immediate treatment. If they leave it bleeding, it could still be dangerous. But the current situation left him with no time to help Ji Rong treat his wound.
For now, Ji Rong’s arm was wrapped tightly with a strip of cloth torn from his clothes, applying pressure to the wound.
Just then, the enemy began to move. Although their footsteps were light, they were still audible.
Someone was approaching. Jiang Yuan instinctively raised his gun and fired, but the target dodged quickly. The electric blast hit the ship’s metal wall as they barely avoided it.
But in the next moment, Jiang Yuan realized something was wrong. Because of that attack, his position had been exposed.
“Bang bang bang!”
Jiang Yuan swiftly retreated further back, gripping his gun tightly with both hands, not daring to relax.
Seeing the failed ambush, Hong immediately commanded, “Forget it. Squad One, charge and draw their fire. Squad Two, provide support. Their weapons can’t kill, so don’t be afraid. You don’t need to hit them. Just create an opening for me to advance.”
No further explanation was needed. Hong’s subordinates nodded in unison. They knew their leader’s strength well. His mastery of ricochet shots made him nearly invincible in close combat.
“Good, everyone in position. Switch places, prepare to cover!”
“Yes!”
“Yes!”
“Ready to move!”
“Three – two – one!”
The mercenaries moved with perfect coordination. As the countdown ended, part of the group immediately dashed out.
“Bang-”
“Bang-”
Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong took them down one by one, their movements clean and efficient. The mercenaries collapsed.
Seeing their companions sprawled unconsciously across the floor.
Hong charged in at top speed. His stunned teammates had bought him precious time. Just when he thought he’d broken through successfully, the young man opposite him swung his gun around. A crackling burst of electricity shot diagonally through the air!
“Bang bang bang!”
Hong fired three shots!
The electric current and three bullets collided mid-air.
Without giving any time to react, Hong’s machine gun opened fire at close range, bullets spiraling outward from the center in an expanding pattern.
Let’s see you predict this. Without mecha support, I don’t believe you can dodge!
Hong’s lips curled in a smug smile.
But Jiang Yuan engaged directly. Perhaps ordinary people couldn’t predict this, but he could. He had the super quantum computer Alphonse in his brain. He didn’t need mecha support. Alphonse was the strongest support system!
The bullets were about to hit when Jiang Yuan raised the handgun in his left hand-
“Bang bang bang!”
With the gunshots, three bullets were fired from different angles, colliding with the incoming bullets and altering their trajectories due to the intense impact, causing them to ricochet into other bullets!
The bullets the man had just fired scattered to the ground several meters from Jiang Yuan, their impact leaving dents in the surrounding walls.
Hong froze.
He had just witnessed the so-called “god-like prediction.” At the same time, the young man in front of him stepped forward, pressing the stun gun against his body!
Instantly, his body went numb!
As Captain Hong collapsed, the mercenaries behind him were dumbfounded. Was this even possible?
Their opponent wasn’t even wearing any auxiliary equipment!
Everyone remained speechless, and even forgot to attack.
The livestream viewers shared their astonishment.
Merlin felt his jaw had dropped to the ground! While Jiang Yuan had pulled off similar moves during the mecha competition… but… this was with his physical body! No mecha support, no data, no angles!
Could this really exist???
Was this not special effects???
After knocking out all the mercenaries, Jiang Yuan immediately tended to Ji Rong’s hand wound. He noticed Ji Rong’s odd expression. “Why are you staring at me?”
“Nothing…” Ji Rong shook his head, feeling like crying.
His mate was too strong, and in such an unscientific way. The pressure was suddenly overwhelming…
Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong searched room by room, looking for their target.
The gunfire outside ceased-
Aries keenly noticed this but didn’t know who won. He stood anxiously at the door, peering out.
“Zzzzt!”
With an electric spark, the door lock failed. Someone kicked the door open from outside. Aries instinctively dodged but still got hit in the head by the swinging door.
Aries fell sitting on the ground, rubbing his head. He saw a pair of straight legs appear beside his feet, but before he could react, their owner hurriedly walked toward the corner.
As Jiang Yuan walked over, he switched off the ongoing livestream communication, changing the view to Ji Rong’s side, where he was in the control room ordering the pilot to land.
…
“Are you okay?” Jiang Yuan asked softly, looking at the pale-faced boy before him.
The boy looked up like a helpless red-eyed rabbit, suddenly throwing his arms around Jiang Yuan and clinging to him.
“What are you doing?” Jiang Yuan felt complicated. Although he did all this to save Qiu Jingming, now that he was face-to-face with him, he felt uncomfortable, especially with Qiu Jingming hugging him so enthusiastically!
Jiang Yuan wanted to push Qiu Jingming away, but he clearly felt the other’s body trembling with fear. In this close embrace, he noticed the cleaned marks on Qiu Jingming’s neck, and pressed against his body, his belly was completely flat, not at all like someone seven months pregnant.
Jiang Yuan froze, considering a possibility. He pushed Qiu Jingming away and lifted his clothes. His abdomen was completely flat.
“How… is this…”
Aries also realized, seeing Jiang Yuan’s reaction, that his earlier suspicions were true! This beautiful Omega had been pregnant!
“They erased the Alpha’s mark from his body, and the baby was removed…” Aries whispered. “And… and he, he doesn’t remember anything now…”
“These people have a machine that can erase memories. He… his current understanding of the world is like a four or five-year-old child.”
Having been locked up with Qiu Jingming, Aries understood his situation well and quietly told Jiang Yuan what he knew.
Jiang Yuan was silent for two seconds, looking at Qiu Jingming who was wiping tears while clutching his clothes.
“Scared…” Qiu Jingming’s cheeks were puffed up as he continuously wiped his tears, crying like a child.
Like a four or five-year-old child?
Jiang Yuan couldn’t help but sigh. His hand paused in the air for two seconds before landing on Qiu Jingming’s head. “Don’t be afraid, brother will take you home.”
Qiu Jingming, red-eyed, looked at Jiang Yuan with complete confusion, pointing at him. “Brother?”
Jiang Yuan nodded: “Yes, I’m your brother.”
…
After leaving the room where he was imprisoned, Aries felt like he stepped into another world. Seeing those people sprawled across the floor and the bullet holes in the ground, he could only imagine how intense the battle had been!
Just thinking about it made Aries feel scared. If it had been him, he’d probably be done for instantly, let alone tracking clues to enter the ship from outside!
And all this just to save his brother!
Aries’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he supported the weak boy, his gaze falling on the tall, straight figure walking ahead of them.
Damn!
Who wouldn’t want a brother like that?
As Jiang Yuan led them toward the control room, the ship was still moving outward with no sign of returning. Jiang Yuan frowned slightly.
“Please help me look after my brother, I need to go to the control room,” Jiang Yuan said deeply.
“Ah… okay!” Hearing Jiang Yuan’s words, Aries couldn’t help blushing. Although he’d recognized Jiang Yuan, he was just… too handsome!
Even as a fellow Omega, he couldn’t control his heartbeat, which kept racing wildly, wuwuwu!
Just as Jiang Yuan was about to turn away, someone grabbed his clothes. Turning back, Jiang Yuan looked at the person holding his clothes, who called out in a tearful voice: “Gege… don’t go… scared…”
Jiang Yuan smiled, saying gently, “I’ll be back soon.”
The boy remained silent, his eyes red like a rabbit’s, tears sliding down his fair cheeks. “Scared…”
“Okay then, we’ll go together, but you have to listen to me, okay?”
The boy nodded obediently. “I’ll listen to Gege.”
Jiang Yuan shook his head helplessly. Qiu Jingming now only had the intelligence of a four-year-old child. He couldn’t do much, and his hesitation to bring Qiu Jingming to the control room was out of concern for him.
Outside the control room, Jiang Yuan had Aries wait with Qiu Jingming, making sure they wouldn’t be caught on camera before entering.
“Why haven’t we turned back yet?” Jiang Yuan strode into the control room and asked Ji Rong, who had already treated his wounds.
Ji Rong glanced at Qiu Jingming outside the control room before quickly looking away. He pointed at the pilot in the operator’s seat. “This guy damaged the ship’s auto-control system. Now it can only be operated manually, and he’s the only one who knows how.”
“Hmph, I absolutely won’t turn back. You can try to knock me out if you dare. If the ship crashes, we all die together!” the pilot said smugly.
Jiang Yuan glanced at the man without a word. Instead, he took out his communicator to search for the matching ship model’s data.
The sharp-eyed pilot caught a glimpse and sneered, “You don’t really think you can learn to fly this by skimming some data, do you?”
Jiang Yuan ignored him and silently read through all the operating information before walking up to the man—
“W-what are you doing? If you touch me, everyone dies!”
“Bzzt bzzt—” The moment the electric current made contact, the man passed out.
Even Ji Rong stood there dumbfounded.
Ji Rong: ??
Jiang Yuan kicked the unconscious man aside and sat in the pilot’s seat—manually flying the ship!
Even until the ship smoothly landed at the private port, Ji Rong still hadn’t quite processed what happened.
“We’ve… landed already?”
“Yep.” Jiang Yuan tilted his head to look at Ji Rong and smiled.
Never mind having Alphonse, even without him, Jiang Yuan could fly the ship. After all, he used to be a space adventurer—the kind who could pilot large ships!
As the ship landed, the viewers watching the livestream were all dumbfounded. Wait, what did they just see?
Someone read the ship’s manual once and just flew it?!
Everyone stared at their screens in silence, taking another careful look at the man who had landed the ship.
They were shocked beyond words, completely unable to describe their feelings at this moment!
Gu Bai, who had been dragged out of bed in the middle of the night, was stunned. He rubbed his eyes, looking at the two people in the livestream. He was sure those were his junior schoolmate Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong, who had participated in the mecha competition with him before.
While the previous stunts were unscientific, he could still accept them.
But… manually flying a ship was just ridiculous!
Absolutely ridiculous!
He could pilot a mecha, fight, and now fly a ship???!
This guy definitely wasn’t just some Omega, he had to be a species that existed outside the ABO gender system!

HAHAHHAHA YOU GO JIANG YUAN
Honestly they should’ve murdered them but no
I hope they tied them up at least
Maybe now Jiang Yuan and Qiu can actually bond as real brothers without all those lies and self hatred
Ji Romg you got a heck of a mate yes
I would’ve kicked that pilot for being uncooperative
At least JY got to kick the captain out of the chair. But yeah, I definitely would’ve gotten in an extra kick or two in there. And that Hong guy too!
Careful Gu Bai, you’re almost breaking the 4th wall right there haha
Sad what happened to QJM but now he gets a clean slate to his life instead of enduring a lifetime of suffering alone, because I don’t think either he or the baby would’ve survived for long ;;
Thank you for the chapter 😍 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thank you for the chapter!
I wonder if JY will ever tell JR about his past/other life.
While the mercenaries were terrible, I hope they get rid of the problem – that Rick noble clan!
This was actually still super sad for QJM. Even though it’s given him a restart, it was a terrible way to happen. With this, I hope they all (even stupid Alpha ex bf/baby daddy) get to move on.
I was kinda hoping QJM would have the baby. At least then he would have a family all to himself. I don’t think making him a blank slate is any less tragic than what he’s already been through.
Basically, this kid can’t catch a break. Orphan omega divorcee, tossed about by pheromones, hormones and fates beyond his control. The first thing he actually selfishly actively strived for, the affection of his brother’s boyfriend, blew up spectacularly in his face.
And just as he was about to have some self-actualization, autonomy and take responsibility for his actions, it’s stripped from him once more. Reset to being an ignorant child, possibly mentally damaged for life and definitely physically damaged since his glands were messed with at least. They may have taken his entire uterus along with the baby since it was cut out and he’s was being sent to be a s*x slave.
I feel so sad for QJM’s baby, I even teared up at the thought that he’s lost the opportunity to live a new life with his own family. I feel so heartbroken for him, damn 😞. I’m surprised by myself because my first comment on this story is regarding QJM.
…Despite all the things he’d done, neither QJM, nor the unborn baby, deserved this type of thing to happen. How can he grow and learn from his mistake, atone for what he did, if he no longer remembers. A clean slate it may be, but it’s an utterly tragic one.
Like, why couldn’t the author have him simply learning through the hardships of living alone and raising the baby? T^T
QJM needed to learn to actually love himself as well, he’s what, 18? 19? He had plenty of time to learn and make up for what he did and change for the better. But not like this.
Jingming was wrong for stealing his brother’s fiancé.. But he actually realised his wrongdoings albeit a bit later.. He should have had another chance to start his life once more..
He didn’t deserve to be stripped off of his memory and child.. Poor thing..
I cried for QJM and his unborn baby…he was ready to start again, to make it right just for it to be gone instantly because of these men…
