The message had arrived at dawn. What was he doing up so late? I swung my legs out of bed, my feet landing on the floor. The announcement contained a link: “Make sure to view it on PC www.illus…(Read more).”

Clicking the link brought me to the freeboard page. After switching to the PC version via settings, the interface changed, and grandiose music began playing through the speakers.

Even the few lines of text were in a rainbow of colors, making it even harder to take seriously. The attached image showed Noeul’s character in Isis’s restaurant, a speech bubble floating above their head:

With this, Noeul had once again proven his lack of sanity. No one had expected a coherent post from him, but no one could’ve imagined it’d be this ridiculous.

Predictably, the initial comments were mostly about how ridiculous it was, urging people not to give it attention. However, the tone shifted after Noeul commented.

The audacity of posting something like this and then sending a casual message saying, “I posted it!” was baffling. But since it was undeniably his post, there wasn’t much room for argument. Even if Kyungsoo complained, Noeul would probably just brush it off, claiming, “What’s wrong with it? I wrote it.” The fact that everyone now knew the two were the same person was enough.

The board was completely flooded with chatter about Cheon Noeul. Just then, a preview notification popped up on the screen.

If he didn’t reply quickly, it seemed like Noeul might dig all the way down to the Earth’s core. That would make the already annoying guy even more unbearable.

「Me: No, seriously. Are you okay after getting blindsided yesterday?」

「Noeul: Oh.」

「Me: I’m just trying to care…」

「Noeul: Yes!! I’m fine!!!!♡♡ I’ll go to the hospital if it hurts later!」

「Me: Sure.」

「Noeul: Oh, right, hyung. You haven’t read my post yet, have you?」

It was almost as if Noeul’s voice was whispering in his head, “Tada~ Let me introduce my sub-character to you^^.” That mocking tone filled with laughter annoyed Kyungsoo even more.

「Noeul: Hyung?」

「Me: I read it. Go to the hospital; you’re not okay.」

「Noeul: I worked so hard on it…T_T」

「Me: Yeah, I can tell.」

「Noeul: What’s wrong with it? What’s the issue?」

「Me: Hmm…」

Kyungsoo captured screenshots from the post, circling everything from the title to the content in large red circles. When he sent it to Noeul, all he got back was a simple, “Everything? T_T” followed by more crying. Even without seeing him, Kyungsoo knew Noeul’s expression must’ve been pitifully droopy. Surprisingly, imagining that face lifted Kyungsoo’s mood just a tiny bit.

Panicking, Kyungsoo quickly turned his head away. What the hell…? Why doesn’t he change in his room? Why does he have to do it in front of me?!

“Should I set up your game screen while I’m at it?”

“Yeah! I’ll be quick!”

After watching Noeul enter the bathroom, Kyungsoo let out a sigh of relief. His gaze shifted to the screen, where Noeul’s username, cjssunset123, stood out prominently on the login screen.

CJS… Sunset? Cheon… Sunset?

Kyungsoo hesitated before typing in cheonnoeulzzangzzang123. With a soft click, the character selection screen popped up.

“…Unbelievable.”

Two avatars appeared: Sunset and MoonFairy. The little avatar of Sunset struck a cute idle animation, looking straight at him.

It all felt very real now—this weirdo who clung to him in-game and in real life was Cheon Noeul. And he actually liked him.

“Wait a second. This… could be a problem.”

It was just a game confession, but in reality, Noeul might genuinely think they were dating. With him, it wasn’t an impossible scenario.

When Noeul emerged from the bathroom, Kyungsoo resolved to clarify their relationship once more, ensuring Noeul understood it was purely for the game.
