PLTRSC Chapter 36

You sleepwalked last night

The sound of the wheelchair moving disappeared. Lu Yinghuai waited for a while, but felt a little worried, so he got up and wanted to take a look at the master bedroom.

He opened the door and was stunned.

Jiang Tang and his wheelchair were at the door of his room.

During the day, when Jiang Tang was awake, there was nothing unusual about him. He was used to sitting upright, like an excellent student waiting for the teacher to call on him to answer questions at any time.

Now he was asleep, his body curled up in the wheelchair in an extremely unsafe position. Lu Yinghuai realized how small he was.

It was even smaller than what he usually saw and felt.

The multifunctional wheelchair was like a beast biting him, and Jiang Tang was so fragile that he could be easily swallowed without any effort.

Jiang Tang was very thin. He was now leaning on the armrest of one side of the wheelchair. The empty space on the other side could accommodate another person.

The villa had an automatic heating system, so the corridor was not cold. But he curled himself up like a child craving for warmth.

“You said you didn’t need me to accompany you,” Lu Yinghuai sighed helplessly, his eyes full of soft doting, “It’s useless to warm the bed, right?”

He carried Jiang Tang to his bed.

The night was finally complete, Lu Yinghuai thought as he lay down.

Jiang Tang was sleeping soundly. Lu Yinghuai held him in his arms, pushed aside the hair on the back of his neck, and looked at the gland.

The color of his pheromone mark has faded a little.

The scent of fir in the air gradually became stronger. Jiang Tang seemed to notice it and whimpered softly as she moved closer to Lu Yinghuai.

He instinctively moved closer to his Alpha’s pheromones.

Xie Zan told him to stop releasing pheromones recently. At this moment, Lu Yinghuai looked at Jiang Tang’s relaxed brows and thought to himself, just a little.

Give him more.

After any Omega is marked by an Alpha, the Omega would become dependent on its own Alpha, and this dependence reaches its peak after full marking.

But this didn’t seem to apply to Jiang Tang.

Jiang Tang was not like other Omegas who crave for Alpha’s pheromones all the time.

That’s fine too.

Lu Yinghuai didn’t want Jiang Tang to be kidnapped by pheromones. An Omega shouldn’t just rely on his Alpha to survive, and he definitely isn’t an Alpha’s private “property”.

They should be free.

Lu Yinghuai pulled the quilt on Jiang Tang’s side. The Omega’s obedient eyes and eyebrows after falling asleep still fascinated him.

Lu Yinghuai belonged to Jiang Tang, but Jiang Tang was free.

He believed.

When Jiang Tang woke up, he was completely dazed.

He clearly remembered that he slept at the door of Lu Yinghuai’s room, and he was very sure that he would wake up soon. How could this…

Wait.

This was not the master bedroom.

Jiang Tang didn’t even have time to think about why he slept so deeply. When his hand touched a hard and hot object under the quilt, the remaining sleepiness he felt instantly disappeared.

“Woke up?”

Lu Yinghuai’s voice was low and faint, with the hoarseness that was unique to waking up in the morning, and it sounded lazy in Jiang Tang’s ears.

Jiang Tang’s hands loosened as if he had been electrocuted: “Why am I…” here?

“Ah…” Lu Yinghuai lay on his side with his hand supporting his head, his eyes fixed on Jiang Tang, dragging out a long, lazy syllable.

Jiang Tang’s mood gradually became a little anxious as his syllables lengthened, and then he heard the man casually say: “You sleepwalked last night.”

Jiang Tang felt that he was teasing him. He wanted to ask how he could sleepwalk in this state, and he actually appeared at the door of Lu Yinghuai’s room.

He slept very deeply last night and was not conscious at all. He hadn’t slept so deeply in a long time, so he had no idea what he would do when he was completely asleep.

“You knocked on my door.” Lu Yinghuai’s tone seemed a little serious.

Jiang Tang felt that this was indeed something he could do while sleeping.

Because he had thought about knocking on the door last night.

“I haven’t slept yet,” Lu Yinghuai continued, “I want to ask you what you wanted.”

Jiang Tang waited for him to continue.

“You said you regretted it, and you also said you wanted to…” Lu Yinghuai paused, as if recalling, “You also said you wanted to sleep with me.”

???

The smile in Lu Yinghuai’s eyes was almost overflowing, and Jiang Tang was very sure that he was just teasing him.

He was even sure that Lu Yinghuai was waiting for him to cover himself with the quilt in shame.

He didn’t want Mr. Lu to succeed.

“So what’s your answer?” Jiang Tang asked. His voice was like the moon last night, so clear that it cooled down the ambiguous atmosphere a lot.

“Me? What else can I do?” Lu Yinghuai looked like a victim, his eyes were extremely innocent. If you ignore the corners of his lips that were trying hard to hold back a smile, “Of course I listen to you.”

Jiang Tang didn’t expect him to be so shameless. He couldn’t respond and finally pulled the quilt to cover his face.

Perhaps in order to avoid losing the battle, Jiang Tang spent a long while in the quilt before saying, “Then Mr. Lu must protect himself better at home.”

Lu Yinghuai was stunned for a moment, then smiled gently.

“Okay, I will protect myself.” He stretched out his hand and pulled back Jiang Tang’s quilt, “I hope Tang Tang will give me a chance to protect myself a few more times.”

Jiang Tang looked at him with her stubborn, doe-like eyes, but his face slowly turned red.

Lu Yinghuai felt like a kitten was scratching his heart. The smile in his eyes grew deeper and deeper. Finally, he couldn’t help but kiss Jiang Tang’s small nose.

It’s so fun to tease Mr. Little Jiang!

“Good morning kiss.” Lu Yinghuai let go of him, “Let’s get up.”

Jiang Tang’s mind was a mess until he went downstairs.

The elevator went down to the first floor, but Lu Yinghuai didn’t come down with the others, saying that he was looking for something.

Jiang Tang’s dazed look instantly returned to normal after he saw Uncle Chen.

The elevator door slowly opened. Jiang Tang looked at Uncle Chen’s slightly flustered eyes, frowned and asked coldly, “What are you doing?”

“Cleaning, what else can I do?” Uncle Chen felt relieved when he saw it was him.

“Aren’t there special people to clean those things?” Jiang Tang’s eyes fell on the vase in Uncle Chen’s hand.

He had only lived here for a few days, but he had seen someone who specialized in taking care of antiques come to his house once.

There were many antiques in Lu Yinghuai’s house. If you sold any one of them, an ordinary person could live a stable life. The one in Uncle Chen’s hand was just bought by Fang Mu a few days ago. It should be very valuable.

“You’ve only been here for a few days? Do you know these things better than me?” Uncle Chen looked at him with disdain, put the vase back to its place, and then wiped the shelf with big movements.

Jiang Tang didn’t say anything else. Suddenly, he controlled his wheelchair and pushed Uncle Chen away.

“Pah—”

It was still a step too late. A vase that had been placed on the edge of the shelf fell to the ground and shattered on the spot.

Uncle Chen looked at Jiang Tang with a pale face and trembled, “What have you done?! This is…”

Hearing the sound, Lu Yinghuai jumped down from the handrail of the second floor stairs, took a few steps to Jiang Tang’s side, and pulled him to his side. He didn’t even glance at the vase on the ground, and asked anxiously, “Are you hurt?”
