TYMRHBDES Chapter 105

Chapter 105: The Cold, Crazy School Prince x The Spoiled, Delicate Little Brat 13

Before returning to class, Jiang Luoluo splashed water on his face at the faucet. Otherwise, with his cheeks burning up like that, he’d be mercilessly mocked by Li Chuan when he sat back down.

Jiang Wanwan was idly playing with his phone at his desk. Since transferring to this school, he hadn’t become as popular as he’d imagined. The other students were polite enough, but it was all just surface-level niceties, not genuine friendship. They were merely passable acquaintances. Moreover, they were all rather mediocre, completely unworthy of being his friends.

Of course, there were exceptions, like Mu Jianian, his long-awaited desk mate. But even being desk mates with Mu Jianian wasn’t as interesting as he’d hoped. Mu Jianian was so cold and distant. The notes Jiang Wanwan passed him during class were completely ignored, as if he couldn’t see them.

Finally, Mu Jianian returned. Jiang Wanwan checked his reflection in a small mirror and leaned closer. “Brother Jianian, it’s my birthday this Saturday. You’ll come, won’t you?”

After saying this, he worried Mu Jianian might refuse. “I invited the whole class, and I’ve already told my parents. They’re all coming!”

Mu Jianian glanced at him and said, “Alright.”

The payment from a few days ago had arrived early, so he no longer needed to tutor Jiang Wanwan.

He could teach his little boyfriend himself, at his own pace.

Jiang Wanwan looked at Jiang Luoluo, who was walking back, with a mix of smugness and shyness.

Didn’t Jiang Luoluo love to curry favor with Mu Jianian?

Well, Jiang Wanwan would show him exactly how effortlessly he could steal Mu Jianian away!

His phone buzzed, and another message arrived.

[Your commission has been settled.]

The bank notification showed an eight-digit sum—last month’s bonus for his hacking work.

Immediately after, a banner notification popped up.

[The preliminary list for the Youth Internet Technology Competition has been released. Click the link to view.]

Mu Jianian’s name was prominently displayed at the top of the list.

Setting down his phone, Mu Jianian looked at the slender figure ahead.

A faint red mark lingered on his fair neck, a trace of Mu Jianian’s fingers from earlier.

His little boyfriend was too delicate, pampered since childhood. He was meant to be sheltered in a villa, living a life of luxury and ease.

Mu Jianian couldn’t bear to see him suffer the slightest hardship.

Saturday arrived in the blink of an eye.

The Jiang Family had spared no expense to welcome back their long-lost youngest son, Jiang Wanwan.

The scale of his birthday party alone spoke volumes.

Jiang Wanwan, dressed in a custom-made suit from a high-end luxury brand with a bow tie at his collar, wore a proud smile as he greeted his classmates.

On the second floor, Li Chuan was also dressed formally. His suit made him appear much more mature.

But as he leaned against the railing, his familiar tone returned: “Tsk tsk tsk, look at that—”

He tilted his chin, pointing toward Jiang Wanwan.

“Proud as a little rooster.”

Standing beside him, Jiang Luoluo, in a casual white tracksuit, glanced down casually. “Let’s go!”

Li Chuan followed behind him. “Hey! Mu Jianian’s here!”

Jiang Luoluo stopped in his tracks and looked downstairs.

Mu Jianian was chatting with his parents. They seemed to be discussing something that left both parents looking slightly disappointed.

In the blink of an eye, Jiang Luoluo dashed downstairs:

“Mu Jianian~”

Seeing the little dumpling-like figure rushing down the stairs, Mu Jianian’s eyes lit up with genuine amusement. “Be careful.”

“This child, so reckless!”

Mother Jiang pulled Jiang Luoluo’s hand. “Xiao Mu Teacher has resigned. He won’t be able to teach you anymore.”

Jiang Wanwan had followed them and overheard the conversation. He shouted, “What?”

“Studies come first, you know? Exams are just around the corner!” Father Jiang said with a smile, patting Mu Jianian on the shoulder. “Work hard, son. Uncle believes in you!”

As he spoke, he glanced at his two sons. “Don’t worry, I’ll find you a new tutor.”

Jiang Wanwan stared at Mu Jianian, his expression lost.

Jiang Luoluo, however, didn’t seem to mind. After all, Mu Jianian could teach him anywhere.

Today’s guests included not only Jiang Wanwan’s classmates but also many of the Jiang family parents’ social circle.

Bejeweled wives arrived with their husbands, and Father Jiang and Mother Jiang quickly led the birthday boy to greet them.

Seizing the opportunity, Jiang Luoluo secretly tugged at Mu Jianian’s sleeve and led him to his room.

Jiang Luoluo’s room was the sunniest on the second floor, with willow branches swaying in the wind outside the window, brushing against the glass.

The floor was covered with a large, hand-embroidered, light camel-colored carpet in a neo-European style, and the bed was piled high with plush toys.

He had woken up late, and the housekeeper hadn’t yet come to tidy the bed. The pure white duvet, like a cloud, was still crumpled in a heap.

Jiang Luoluo scratched his head, a little embarrassed. “My room’s a bit messy, I’m afraid…”

He started to fold the duvet himself.

“Let me do it.”

Mu Jianian stopped him, pulling apart the corners of the quilt to fold it into a neat, square block.

He also smoothed out the bedsheets.

The latex mattress was exceptionally soft, and pressing down on it brought to mind the fairy tale of the true princess who could still feel a pea beneath twelve layers of down comforters.

Jiang Luoluo leaned closer, sitting on the edge of the bed with a soft voice:

“Mu Jianian~ You know how to fold a quilt~”

Mu Jianian looked at him, stroked his cheek, and replied in a low, cool voice: “Yes, I thought I should learn.”

“After all, someone has to fold the quilt when we live together in college.”

Jiang Luoluo’s voice was sweet and slightly coquettish: “Who said I’m living with you~”

Mu Jianian pulled his wrist, pulling him into his arms.

The enormous floor-to-ceiling mirror at the bedside reflected the two of them.

The taller man, with his aloof and handsome features, and the shorter one, with his almond eyes and snow-white cheeks, nestled together intimately.

“Does Luoluo like this style?”

The man’s question seemed more like an affirmation. “How about we redecorate our home like this during the summer break?”

The person in his arms fluttered his eyelashes, embarrassed by the phrase “our home.”

A light kiss landed on his cheek.

Jiang Luoluo looked up at the mirror, where Mu Jianian was gazing back at him.

The other person’s perfect jawline pressed against his face, their voice gentle and filled with longing.

“When the time comes, we’ll go furniture shopping together. We’ll buy whatever you like, baby.”

At the word “baby,” Jiang Luoluo blushed and turned away, burying his head in Mu Jianian’s chest. He murmured softly, “Okay.”

The person holding him chuckled softly.

His chest vibrated with an indescribable joy.

Then he lowered his head and kissed the top of Jiang Luoluo’s head.

At seven o’clock in the evening, all the guests gathered in the first-floor hall to sing “Happy Birthday” to Jiang Wanwan.

After blowing out the candles, the guests dispersed to enjoy the feast.

Jiang Luoluo had also drunk a bit of wine and felt a flush rising on his cheeks. He pulled Mu Jianian outside for a walk.

After only a few steps, the evening chill set in. He sent a nanny to his room to fetch a jacket.

Within minutes, a casual black jacket was delivered.

Jiang Luoluo quickly slipped it on, stretching out the sleeves. When he looked up, he noticed a strange expression on Mu Jianian’s face.

He looked down at the oversized clothes on his body and asked softly, “Is it too big? Does it look bad?”

Mu Jianian looked at him deeply, then bent down and zipped up the zipper.

“So that’s where the clothes I left on the ground after the game went…”

His long fingers pinched the zipper, pulling it all the way to the top.

Mu Jianian pinched Jiang Luoluo’s small chin and brushed his index finger against his Adam’s apple.

“Not only did you steal my water, but you also stole my clothes…”

“With looks like yours, you couldn’t possibly be a little pervert, could you?”

Jiang Luoluo’s mouth formed a perfect circle as he stared at his hand, which was completely swallowed by the sleeve. He finally understood why the sleeves of this shirt were so long.

Mu Jianian pinched his small face, as if scolding a naughty child, yet also coaxing him: “Tell me, what did you do with my clothes?”

Mu Jianian’s clean, pleasant scent enveloped him. Jiang Luoluo looked up at him, his voice soft and pleading: “I didn’t do anything…”

Mu Jianian merely smiled at him. “Oh? You didn’t do anything? Then why did you steal my clothes?”

Jiang Luoluo’s face flushed crimson, his eyes darting away, utterly at a loss for how to explain.

A large hand wrapped around his waist, and Mu Jianian leaned down, his breath brushing against Jiang Luoluo’s face as if deliberately teasing him.

“Let me smell… see if there’s any strange scent on the clothes…”

“What strange scent? There’s definitely no strange scent~” Jiang Luoluo giggled coquettishly, trying to wriggle away.

In the shadows where the bushes overlapped, an occasional breeze rustled through.

The dim moon hung in the sky, casting a serene and beautiful glow over the scene.

With a breath heavy with alcohol, Mu Jianian leaned closer and kissed Jiang Luoluo’s lips.

Two small hands emerged from the long sleeves, wrapping around Mu Jianian’s waist…

Meanwhile, Jiang Wanwan had searched the entire hall but couldn’t find Mu Jianian.

He had dressed up so handsomely today, intending to confess his feelings to Mu Jianian.

Jiang Wanwan pulled aside a classmate. “Mengmeng, have you seen Mu Jianian?”

The classmate who had been pulled back swallowed the fruit wine in his mouth, his face flushed with intoxication. He pointed outside, slurring, “He went out with Luoluo.”

‘Again, with Jiang Luoluo!’

Jiang Wanwan’s anger flared.

‘I’m so outstanding, yet Mu Jianian acts like he can’t even see me! Why is he always so close to Jiang Luoluo?’

He pushed through the crowd and headed outside.

After wandering around without finding them, Jiang Wanwan took out his phone, intending to send Mu Jianian a message. But as he glanced around, he spotted two figures embracing in a secluded corner.

He snorted inwardly and quietly moved closer.

‘Some random couple,’ he thought dismissively.

Jiang Wanwan pulled out his phone, opened the video recorder, and zoomed in.

As he watched the familiar faces on the screen, Jiang Wanwan felt as if struck by lightning.

Mu Jianian’s usually sharp, aloof features were now softened with tenderness and possessiveness. His eyes were closed as he leaned in to kiss the person in his arms.

His long fingers were pressed against Jiang Luoluo’s head.

And that arrogant, unruly older brother of his was actually being held so obediently by Mu Jianian…?
