TYMRHBDES Chapter 110

Chapter 110: The Cold, Crazy School Heartthrob x Spoiled, Delicate Little Brat 18

Jiang Luoluo quickly sat back on the edge of the bed, pulling the blanket over himself. “Come in.”

The door opened, revealing a stranger wearing thin-rimmed glasses. “Hello, President Jiang. I’m Assistant Tang, President Mu’s assistant.”

“President Mu sent these clothes and medicine for you.”

“He asked me to tell you, ‘Your performance last night was excellent. He was very satisfied. He will intervene in Comet Technology. He hopes you recover quickly to please him and not spoil his mood.'”

After Assistant Tang finished speaking, he pushed up his glasses, his face devoid of any emotion, like a robot executing orders.

Jiang Luoluo’s face flushed crimson. His words stuttered for a moment as he watched Assistant Tang place the items down and leave without a word.

Silence returned to the room.

Jiang Luoluo buried his face in his pillow. “Aaaaaaaah!”

“How could he say something like that?!”

His muffled voice, muffled by the pillow, trembled as he clutched the edge of the pillow, his knuckles turning white.

“Mu Jianian has really changed. He’s so shameless!”

The system offered a few more words of comfort.

Jiang Luoluo emerged from under the pillow, his light golden short hair sticking up in a messy tuft. Combined with his flushed cheeks—whether from holding back tears or embarrassment, it was hard to tell—he looked like a puffed-up kitten, irresistibly tempting to pet.

Gazing at the clean clothes and medicine left at the door, Jiang Luoluo decided to go over.

Yet even this short distance of a few meters took him five or six minutes to cover.

In his heart, he cursed Mu Jianian a hundred and eighty times over.

There was no way he could go to the office in this state.

After applying the medicine and getting dressed, Jiang Luoluo called his assistant, Assistant Tang, to inform him he wouldn’t be coming in. He then arranged for the cleaning staff to tidy up his room and booked another day’s extension.

He could barely crawl, so he decided to just lie flat.

The warm sunlight streamed through the window, bathing the room in a golden glow. After playing on his phone for a while, the person on the bed drifted back into a hazy sleep.

The phone, left beside the pillow on silent mode, lit up several times, but the sleeping figure remained oblivious.

Meanwhile, in the conference room, the senior executives exchanged glances as they watched President Mu repeatedly lose focus.

Mu Jianian changed into a black suit, his hair swept back to reveal a full forehead. His phoenix-shaped eyes were deep and unreadable.

“President Mu, my report is complete.”

The man seated in the presidential chair frowned, causing the speaker’s heart to leap into his throat.

“President Mu?”

Mu Jianian looked up, glanced at the PowerPoint slides, and grunted in acknowledgment.

His long fingers lifted from the phone screen on his desk, lazily flipping open his notebook with a cold indifference. His voice held no emotion as he began, “Based on last quarter’s market share…”

The executives who had been called out lowered their heads in shame, repeatedly offering assurances and outlining their next steps.

Mu Jianian’s gaze drifted back to the screen.

It was blank, with no new messages.

Jiang Luoluo still hadn’t replied.

Mu Jianian’s expression darkened. He stood up.

His assistant quickly bowed. “Let’s conclude the meeting here for today. I’ll compile the meeting notes and distribute them as soon as possible.”

By the time he looked up again, Mu Jianian was gone.

At the hotel room door…

Mu Jianian swiped his card to enter the room, which was pitch black inside, not even a light on.

He switched on the lights and saw a small figure curled up on the bed.

He had gotten too warm while sleeping, a thin layer of sweat covering his forehead.

His hands were pressed against his cheeks, squishing his chubby face into a distorted, childishly adorable shape, just as he had looked when sitting in front of Mu Jianian in class all those years ago.

Mu Jianian watched him for a moment before lifting the covers.

The person on the bed was roused by the movement. His long eyelashes fluttered, and his sleepy eyes opened, gazing at Mu Jianian.

The curled-up position had caused his shirt to ride up, revealing a slender, snow-white waist with lingering bruises.

Mu Jianian frowned inwardly, his expression unreadable.

‘Had he been that rough last night?’

He reached out to touch him, but the person on the bed instinctively flinched away, his voice soft: “It hurts…”

Mu Jianian’s hand froze in mid-air. He raised his eyelids to look at him, his eyes filled with snow that had never melted, carrying an unconcealable hatred.

“Jiang Luoluo, does it hurt?”

The person on the bed slowly sat up, very gently, and perched on the edge of the mattress.

“I’m sorry, Mu Jianian.”

“If I had known that you missed the exam because of me, I never would have pursued you like that back then.”

“So, whether you scold me or blame me, I won’t hold it against you.”

Jiang Luoluo raised his eyes and looked at Mu Jianian earnestly.

“Just pretend last night was a drunken mistake.”

“I won’t cling to you, nor will I ask you to take responsibility…”

Jiang Luoluo’s soft voice paused. “And I certainly don’t want to use this as a bargaining chip to make you help Comet Technology overcome its crisis.”

“Mu Jianian, let’s part ways amicably.”

Mu Jianian’s deep black pupils contracted sharply.

He let out a cold laugh, his eyes radiating a chilling coldness.

“Young Master Jiang is indeed a free spirit, just as he always was.”

“You’ve had your fun. I haven’t.”

A large hand clamped around Jiang Luoluo’s jaw, forcing him to look up. “Did I say you could leave?”

Jiang Luoluo pressed his lips together, his eyes reddening with defiance. “Can you force me?”

The two men stared at each other in silence for a moment. Then, Mu Jianian suddenly released him.

A faint, enigmatic smile played on Mu Jianian’s noble face.

He sat down beside Jiang Luoluo and gently pulled him into his arms.

This uncharacteristic tenderness sent shivers down Jiang Luoluo’s spine. His heart turned cold.

Mu Jianian’s slender fingers pinched Jiang Luoluo’s cheek with an inappropriate hint of affection. “How could I ever force you?”

Mu Jianian’s clear, resonant voice couldn’t hide his amusement as he tightened his embrace and kissed Jiang Luoluo’s cheek. His low, melodious tone was like a lover’s whisper. “I’ve prepared a gift for Luoluo. Shall we open it?”

Jiang Luoluo stared at Mu Jianian’s sudden warmth, utterly bewildered. His unease grew with each passing moment.

Mu Jianian settled Jiang Luoluo in his arms, pulled out his phone, opened the photo album, and played a video.

A soft, tearful voice filled the air. Jiang Luoluo’s eyes widened as he watched his own face on the screen. The camera slowly scanned his skin, finally settling on his slightly flushed cheeks.

“Isn’t it beautiful?” Mu Jianian stroked Jiang Luoluo’s hair, his voice laced with affection. “Such a beautiful Luoluo, shouldn’t we share him with others?”

Jiang Luoluo’s blood ran cold, a wave of numbness rising from the depths of his heart.

“You took these last night?”

Mu Jianian watched his eyes widen in fear and shock, a faint smile playing on his lips.

“Why else?”

“After three years of longing, I had to leave myself something to remember you by… wouldn’t you agree?”

As he spoke, he dragged Jiang Luoluo’s finger across his phone screen.

Photo after photo, video after video—the album meticulously documented his appearance from the previous night.

Jiang Luoluo tried to pull his finger away in terror, but Mu Jianian’s grip tightened, refusing to let go.

He even used his other hand to turn Jiang Luoluo’s face toward the screen, forcing him to look.

A soft voice whispered in his ear, “Aren’t the photos clear?”

As if seeking praise, Mu Jianian kissed Jiang Luoluo’s pale cheek.

“Do you like them?”

“Such beautiful photos—shouldn’t we share them with others?”

The hand holding Jiang Luoluo’s finger tapped the share button, then entered a web address.

“Should I send them to your college roommates first, or to every employee at Comet Technology?”

Jiang Luoluo’s trembling fingers pleaded, “No…”

Mu Jianian stroked his head, as if trying to soothe him.

Mu Jianian opened the digital keypad again, pulling Jiang Luoluo’s finger to enter a series of numbers.

The person in his arms trembled violently, watching the digits increase one by one until the final digit was entered.

An eleven-digit phone number appeared in the recipient field.

Mu Jianian guided Jiang Luoluo’s finger to hover over the send button, his voice soft and melodious.

“How about we show this to your father?”

The small hand in his palm trembled uncontrollably. Jiang Luoluo’s face paled, and he stared at Mu Jianian in terror.

It was as if he were looking at a demon in human skin.

Mu Jianian curved his lips into a smile, as if negotiating. “How about it?”

Jiang Luoluo screamed, snatched the phone from Mu Jianian’s hand, and threw it to the ground.

Mu Jianian glanced indifferently at the shattered phone, his expression betraying no hint of anger.

He even chuckled. “Luoluo, have you forgotten what I do?”

Jiang Luoluo’s face was ashen. He pushed Mu Jianian away and tried to run, but Mu Jianian grabbed his waist and pulled him back.

Mu Jianian wrapped his arms around Jiang Luoluo’s waist, his voice gentle. “Or, we could have Assistant Tang bring over the computer, and I can play it for you on the screen. Would that be better?”

“Or do you prefer the TV, or maybe the projector?”

Mu Jianian held his hand tightly, his gaze as earnest as if he were proposing to his beloved.

“Or even bigger—the Huijin International Building, that 32-story LED screen. I’ll buy it, and we can loop our video on it. How does that sound?”

Jiang Luoluo covered his ears, closing his eyes in fear.

He kept repeating, “No… please… don’t…”

Mu Jianian pulled him into his arms, his large hand patting Jiang Luoluo’s back rhythmically.

But the pretense of tenderness finally melted away from his eyes.

His phoenix eyes drooped halfway, his pupils dark and obscure.

“So, our Luoluo, do you know what to do now?”

The person in his arms trembled uncontrollably.

After a long, long time—long enough for tear stains to soak through the shirt on his chest—a tiny voice finally emerged from his embrace.

“I know…”

Mu Jianian’s hand paused on his back, and he murmured a faint, almost imperceptible “Good boy.”

He lifted the person in his arms bridal style, his dark brown leather shoes treading across the carpet, step by step, toward the bathroom.

The person in his arms remained tense, his eyes still closed.

As if terrified of him.

Mu Jianian glanced down at him, his lips tightening into a thin line.
