TYMRHBDES Chapter 116

Chapter 116: The Cold, Crazy School Hunk x Spoiled, Delicate Little Brat 24

Jiang Luoluo’s smile hadn’t faded yet. “What?”

“Your phone has been implanted with tracking software. It has high-level permissions, so I don’t know exactly how much it can monitor. Have you offended anyone recently? Have you felt like you were being followed?”

The surrounding group fell silent, and Li Chuan cursed under his breath.

“Are you sure? Can you remove it?”

The tech guy shook his head. “I can try, but it might alert whoever planted it.”

Jiang Luoluo stared at his phone on the table, a dark suspicion rising in his mind.

Mu Jianian.

Mu Jianian worked in this industry.

Besides, if he dared to secretly film him with a hidden camera, there was no telling what else he might do…

Jiang Luoluo’s breath caught for a moment, and his delicate brows furrowed.

Li Chuan snapped back to reality. “Do you know who did it?”

Jiang Luoluo: “I…”

The screen flashed again, and a WeChat message popped up.

Considering Jiang Luoluo’s recent habit of ducking his head to text and the hickey on his neck, Li Chuan frowned. “Was it that boyfriend of yours?”

“Who is he?”

“How did you meet him?”

“What does he do?”

The memory of Mu Jianian’s slow, deliberate threat with those photos still sent a chill down Jiang Luoluo’s spine.

‘The tracking app… does that mean Mu Jianian knows where I am?’

‘Is he coming here?’

Jiang Luoluo suddenly stood up, determined not to involve Li Chuan.

“I have to go…”

He glanced around nervously, but Li Chuan grabbed his arm.

“Where are you going? To find him? To confront him?”

Li Chuan was agitated. “Anyone who dares to install a tracking app on you can’t be a good person!”

“Going to him is just walking right into the tiger’s den!”

“Has he ever done anything like this to you before?”

Jiang Luoluo’s breath came in ragged gasps, his face pale as death.

“He threatened you!!”

Li Chuan’s face flushed with anger. “That son of a bitch! I’ll settle this with him! Just wait!”

“I-it might not be him…”

Jiang Luoluo stared at his phone, the suffocating pressure of the threat tightening around his chest.

“There’s no proof he did it…”

“Proof?”

Li Chuan glanced at his phone and sneered. “Proof? We’ll have that in a moment!”

With that, he picked up his phone and plunged it into his wine glass.

The screen flickered twice before going completely dark.

Jiang Luoluo stood frozen.

“If you won’t talk, we’ll just wait.”

Li Chuan stared at the phone, ran a hand through his crew cut, and growled, “I want to see what kind of monster we’re dealing with!”

Jiang Luoluo sat uneasily in his chair, his heart in turmoil. He kept glancing toward the door, terrified that the familiar figure would appear.

Within fifteen minutes, the door was pushed open from the outside.

A pair of black leather shoes stepped into the room.

Li Chuan, still gripping his wine glass, glared. “You’re here?”

He looked up as he spoke, then froze. “Mu Jianian?”

The newcomer wore a custom-tailored suit, his expression cold and unreadable. His aloofness was intimidating. His gaze swept across the room, finally settling on the person in the center.

He seemed to see no one else, his eyes fixed solely on Jiang Luoluo.

Mu Jianian’s cool voice, unhurried and steady, asked, “Why did your phone shut down?”

Jiang Luoluo looked up at him, his expression complex.

But Mu Jianian easily sensed the fear flickering in his eyes.

“So it was you!”

Li Chuan stood up, holding a bottle of wine. “Mu Jianian, what the hell are you doing?”

Mu Jianian ignored Li Chuan, his eyes fixed on Jiang Luoluo.

His voice softened. “Luo Luo, come here.”

Li Chuan aimed the wine bottle at Mu Jianian. “Mu Jianian, are you crazy?”

“Who the hell gives their boyfriend a phone tracking app when they’re dating?”

“Are you some kind of pervert?”

As Li Chuan spoke, he pulled Jiang Luoluo behind him.

He was tall and broad-shouldered, effectively shielding him from view.

Only a glimpse of a small, soft white hand remained visible.

Mu Jianian frowned.

Was he avoiding his gaze?

Was he seeking protection from another man?

Rage surged through him, igniting into a towering inferno. Mu Jianian finally lifted his eyes, turning his gaze toward Li Chuan.

Li Chuan shielded Jiang Luoluo even more closely. “Mu Jianian, Luo Luo wants to break up with you.”

Mu Jianian curled his lips into a faint smile, his voice light and tinged with amusement. “Oh? Bao Bao wants to break up with me?”

His voice was tender, tinged with the resentment of abandonment. “Why didn’t Bao Bao tell me himself?”

The shadow behind Li Chuan wavered, still clearly afraid of him.

Jiang Luoluo’s soft voice trembled, then seemed to steel itself.

“Mu Jianian, I don’t want to be with you anymore. We’re not compatible…”

As if summoning all his courage, he declared, “I’m breaking up with you!”

Mu Jianian’s expression remained unruffled, showing not a hint of sadness.

His long legs, encased in black trousers, took a step forward, followed leisurely by the other, advancing with the unhurried grace of a stroll.

“Breaking up with me?”

Under the flickering lights of the private room, half of Mu Jianian’s face was shrouded in darkness. His features, usually as clear and noble as the bright moon, now held a disturbing, almost pathological terror.

His voice was clear and resonant. “Bao Bao, but you promised you’d spend New Year’s with me.”

“Are you going to lie to me again this time?”

Jiang Luoluo’s heart raced with panic.

He knew what Mu Jianian was implying.

Mu Jianian still held his videos and photos. He had promised that once their affair ended after the New Year, he would return them.

He was threatening her.

Jiang Luoluo’s face turned pale as he took two steps back.

Li Chuan grabbed his wrist. “Luo Luo, don’t be afraid. I won’t let him take you away today!”

“Damn it, Mu Jianian, you’re a pervert!”

“Don’t come any closer, Mu Jianian!”

Mu Jianian didn’t even glance at Li Chuan. He simply continued walking forward.

Several men surrounded him, forming a tight circle around Mu Jianian.

The tension in the air was palpable, as if a fight could break out at any moment.

Assistant Tang shouted anxiously, “President Mu! President Mu!! Don’t go any further!! I’ll call for backup right away!!!”

Mu Jianian’s thin lips curled into a mocking smile. “No need.”

He stopped a meter in front of Li Chuan, his gaze fixed on the terrified boy hiding behind him.

His voice was gentle. “Bao Bao, come here.”

Jiang Luoluo shook his head frantically, tears streaming down his cheeks.

He whispered, “I don’t want to go…”

“Mu Jianian… you’re too terrifying… I want to break up with you…”

As he spoke, he shrank further behind Li Chuan, like a fledgling bird finding shelter under a towering tree.

Mu Jianian frowned slightly, displeased by the action.

He stepped around Li Chuan and reached out to Jiang Luoluo.

Li Chuan’s eyes turned bloodshot with rage as he swung the liquor bottle. “I fucking told you to stay away—”

*Bang!* The bottle crashed against Mu Jianian’s head.

He didn’t even flinch, taking the full impact.

Two screams pierced the room. Assistant Tang frantically dialed for help.

Li Chuan was stunned. At this angle and with this force, Mu Jianian could have easily dodged the blow. But he hadn’t even tried…

It was as if he had deliberately waited for the bottle to hit him.

Blood-soaked Mu Jianian’s black hair then trickled down his sharp, sculpted features.

Crimson blood, deep, dark eyes, pale skin…

His features were so strikingly beautiful they bordered on the uncanny.

He took another step forward.

The crowd was stunned into near-horror by his reckless, death-defying madness.

Mu Jianian chuckled, his voice cold and thin. “I’ll say this one last time.”

He reached out, his slender fingers passing over the stunned Li Chuan and stopping in front of Jiang Luoluo.

“Bao Bao, you should come here now.”

As he spoke, he glanced at Li Chuan with a mocking smile.

“Intentional assault. Shall we send him to the police station?”

Jiang Luoluo’s eyes widened in terror. “No… please don’t…”

His long, curled lashes trembled like butterfly wings, and tears rolled down his cheeks like pearls.

Li Chuan finally understood why Jiang Luoluo hadn’t dodged.

Mu Jianian was using him to threaten Jiang Luoluo.

“Luo Luo, don’t go with him! I’m fine! Just go inside! Who’s afraid of whom?!”

Jiang Luoluo shook his head. He couldn’t drag Li Chuan down any further.

Mu Jianian was mentally ill and capable of anything.

Wiping away his tears, Jiang Luoluo’s tear-reddened eyes resembled a frightened rabbit’s. He tentatively placed his fingers in Mu Jianian’s palm.

Mu Jianian pulled him into a tight embrace, even affectionately kissing his forehead.

Blood dripped onto Jiang Luoluo’s collar, the metallic scent filling his nostrils. Held in Mu Jianian’s arms, he sobbed brokenly, “Mu Jianian, I’ll go with you… Please don’t make things difficult for Li Chuan…”

Mu Jianian held the person in his arms, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. He raised his eyes, meeting Li Chuan’s gaze, a dark glint flashing in his eyes. “By the way, Jiang Xiyao is at M University, right?”

Li Chuan, who had been restrained, paled. “Damn it, Mu Jianian! What the hell do you want?!”

Mu Jianian said nothing more. He simply dropped the sentence and, with Jiang Luoluo in his arms, turned and left.

The private doctor arrived at the apartment to treat Mu Jianian’s wound.

Mu Jianian kept his arm around Jiang Luoluo’s waist, as if afraid he would run away.

The doctor sighed helplessly, finally managing to persuade Mu Jianian to release him so he could perform a simple wound closure.

Jiang Luoluo seized the opportunity to escape while pretending to use the restroom. He locked himself in a room, hugging himself tightly.

Mu Jianian was terrifying…

He didn’t want to pursue Mu Jianian anymore…

The door opened, and Jiang Luoluo looked up in alarm, meeting the tall figure standing in the doorway.

Mu Jianian walked over and pulled him into his arms, even gently kissing his trembling eyes.

“Bao Bao, please don’t say you want to break up with me again. It hurts me so much…”

Jiang Luoluo’s body trembled slightly. “Mu Jianian, you promised you’d let me go…”

Mu Jianian turned his face toward him, his flawless features serious. “Why do you insist on leaving? Isn’t it better to stay by my side?”

His fingertips traced Jiang Luoluo’s cheek as he spoke, his voice laced with nostalgia. “Do you remember when you were pursuing me? You said you loved me so much.”

A chilling sensation, like being watched by a venomous snake, crawled up Jiang Luoluo’s neck. His voice trembled with fear, his words desperate.

“That was before!”

“Mu Jianian! I don’t love you anymore!”
