TYMRHBDES Chapter 28

T/N: “Thank you, little angel, Arm! My heart almost burst when I saw your support message. This means so much more to me than you guys think!”

Fu Tingchuan’s cold eyes narrowed slightly, anger flickering in his gaze. His eyes flashed dangerously.

He stared intently at this red mark for a while until flames seemed to ignite within his jet-black pupils as if determined to burn all this unsightly evidence to ashes. And then he slowly exhaled.

He couldn’t wait any longer.

The boiling anger threatened to burn through his rational mind, to tear him apart from the inside out.

That person… the one who had dared to compete with him…

Fu Tingchuan closed his eyes, his face darkening with grim resolve.

He couldn’t wait any longer to find that man and slowly, methodically, torture him to death.

He wanted him dead.

Clean and swift, one fatal blow.

To be completely and utterly erased from beside his baby’s side forever.

He couldn’t bear it anymore.

When Jiang Luoluo woke up, he found himself alone.

He stretched lazily, got dressed, and wandered downstairs by himself.

Upon learning that Fu Tingchuan was in the study, Jiang Luoluo knocked on the door and flew into the room, slipping into Fu Tingchuan’s arms.

Fu Tingchuan gently kissed his forehead, then noticed his shoes had come off as he rushed in. “You were so fast that you lost your shoes.”

Jiang Luoluo glanced at him quickly, his ears blushing pink. “I wanted to see you soon.”

“Is Luo Luo thinking of me?”

Fu Tingchuan’s large hand brushed through Jiang Luoluo’s soft hair, caressing his small head.

Jiang Luoluo nodded obediently.

Clinging to Fu Tingchuan’s sleeves with both tiny hands, he suddenly looked up and pecked Fu Tingchuan’s chin affectionately.

Burying his slightly reddened face into Fu Tingchuan’s chest, he murmured softly, “I missed you soooo much~”

As Fu Tingchuan lightly kissed his forehead, Jiang Luoluo closed his eyes tightly, his long, feathery eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings.

This person in front of him had, since he entered the system, performed the most intimate actions with him.

It’s obviously the same body and the same face…

But with this second personality of Fu Tingchuan, even a gentle kiss made his heart race. It felt like it would jump right out of his chest. [footnote] T/N: And that’s why those wise people advise you not to judge a book by its cover! [/footnote]

Like a butterfly drowning in a gentle hurricane.

Yet the man before him wasn’t like the boss Fu Tingchuan, who always pinned him down for such things.

This man was gentle and controlled, humble and courteous.

The most extreme thing he’d ever done was that night.

His desire was clear in his eyes, but Jiang Luoluo had been running a fever earlier in the day. And since he said he was afraid of pain, Fu Tingchuan had been holding back the whole time.

Using only his lips and fingers…

The pink from his ears spread across his face. Jiang Luoluo dared not think anymore about it, curling up tightly in Fu Tingchuan’s arms.

Fu Tingchuan pulled open a drawer in the desk and took out a gift box.

Even his way of opening the box was elegant. He hooked a finger inside and pulled out a slender chain.

The main body of the chain is a red rope with tassel-like thin chains of varying sizes decorated on it. The longest part is a lifelike water-patterned pendant carved into it.

As it moved, the facets of the beads caught the light, sparkling brightly.

“Is it a bracelet?”

Jiang Luoluo reached out and touched it with his finger.

“It’s an anklet.”

Fu Tingchuan handed it to him, letting him play with it for a moment before softly asking, “Do you like it?”

Jiang Luoluo nodded. “Yes, I like it~”

“Then I’ll put it on for you.”

As the slender ankle was held in the man’s hand, Jiang Luoluo suddenly felt a surge of heat where he was being touched. The warmth spread from deep within his bones, burning so intensely that even his pale skin flushed with a faint pink hue.

He glanced sidelong at Fu Tingchuan. The man’s head was slightly bowed, his eyelids half-lowered with black lashes resting against his lower lids. His expression was serious and composed as if he were performing a task of utmost importance.

Yet, paradoxically, the more earnest he seemed, the more it stirred a forbidden temptation within Jiang Luoluo. If Fu Tingchuan were his usual ruthless self, he’d probably have shamelessly pinned Jiang Luoluo down on the spot.

“What are you thinking about?”

Jiang Luoluo blinked rapidly, snapping back to reality. He replied softly, “Nothing really.”

The corners of Fu Tingchuan’s mouth twitched slightly. Though his gentle smile remained unchanged, Jiang Luoluo couldn’t help but feel as if Fu Tingchuan wasn’t pleased. It was as if, with a single glance, Fu Tingchuan had seen through him, knowing exactly what had been on his mind just moments ago.

A shiver ran through Jiang Luoluo’s heart.

But in a flash, it was over. It felt like he’d imagined the momentary chill. Fu Tingchuan’s face returned to its usual warmth. He held Jiang Luoluo’s ankle, his voice gentle. “It looks beautiful.”

Jiang Luoluo followed his gaze.

A red cord was wrapped around his pale ankle, with golden tassels hanging all around. The patterns were intricate and lovely. As they moved, the tassels swung in time with his every step.

The longest tassel ended in a water-patterned pendant, hanging from the narrowest part of his ankle and resting against his outer ankle bone. With each movement, it seemed to leave a gentle kiss.

Jiang Luoluo happily swung his leg, watching the tassels sway. His eyes sparkled. “Thank you~”

Fu Tingchuan patted his head, a smile in his eyes that held a hint of something deeper. “No need to thank.”

The phone screen lit up, and a string of English words popped up:

“What’s this?” Jiang Luoluo asked.

As he moved, something dropped from his pocket with a crisp *pop*.

Fu Tingchuan bent down and picked up the bag: it contained half-finished black braided wristbands and a dragon-shaped charm, like the kind you’d hang from a bracelet once it was finished.

It’s for a man.

Does he have the surname of Long? [footnote] The dragon (simplified Chinese: 龙; traditional Chinese: 龍; pinyin: lóng; Jyutping: lung; Cantonese Yale: lùhng)[/footnote]

Tingchuan squeezed the bag, gave it a quick look, then casually handed it to Jiang Luoluo.

Nervous, Jiang Luoluo stuffed the bag into his pocket. But as soon as it was in, he realized it was too obvious. He stammered out an explanation, “I-I’m…”

“A way to pass the time?”

The man patted him on the head. “It’s my fault for not spending enough time with Little Luo,” he said gently. “It’s boring for our baby here. In a few days, I’ll take Little Luo on our honeymoon.”

“Where does Luoluo want to go?”

Jiang Luoluo’s eyes lit up. He started counting on his fingers. “I heard that Bali has great scenery, or maybe the Maldives. I can swim, so we could go in the water together…”

Watching Jiang Luoluo chattering excitedly, Fu Tingchuan smiled and ruffled his soft hair.

“Give me some more time…”

Fu Tingchuan lowered his gaze, his eyes gently passing over Jiang Luoluo’s ankle decorated with an ornamental chain.

Give me some more time to sort things out.

I’ll take you away, far from anyone who knows you.

It’ll be just the two of us.

Gentle silk ribbons will bind your ankles, with the other end tied to the carved bedpost.

You’ll be trapped in that pure white bed like an injured canary, your delicate voice reduced to tiny cries.

I’ll treat you with care, I’ll love you…

I’ll learn how to properly care for a canary…

T/N: Why am I feeling cold all of a sudden?  Is it just me, or did the temperature drop when Fu Tingchuan started talking about “taking care” of his little canary? Luo Luo, run—oh wait, you can’t, your ankles are tied. 😭

As I thought, his gentle personality is more dangerous.

Anyway, did he just mention Bali?!! Dude, this is in Indonesia 😍😍

Mhum it’s usually the people that repress their emotions who are the most dangerous.
